Outside POV

After being freed of his handcuffs, Silver was escorted through the G.U.N base by the blue hedgehog who proudly said his name was Sonic... Shadow had left a long while ago to go in the opposite direction, saying he had to go get something... Shadow had some ranking over the rest since he wasn't doing anything that the other soldiers nearby were doing... Sonic smirks and waves at a big group of them who all trotted by, obviously warming up for their physical training for the day.

As they passed by large military vehicles before Sonic finally spun around, locking eyes with Silver as he tucked his arms behind his head, he smiles a little before he opens his mouth. "So I know that this mission is really important to you..." He starts, leading the way to the exit. "But for me and the others to help you out... I gotta know some details..." He says gently, trying to figure out how to solve Silver's problem.

Silver's calm expression slightly changes to a small frown. "That I cannot disclose with you, Sonic..." He sighs. "As much as I would like to tell you... I just… cannot tell you due to certain circumstances."

Sonic laughs a little before he turns back around, slowing down to get right at Silver's side, eyeing the gray hedgehog from the corners of his eyes. "No worries... I'm not trying to pry this information out of you to just go snitch on you..." Sonic reassures gently. "I just need to figure out a game plan... Something that'd lead us to the answer."

Silver frowns a little before he places a finger to his chin, thinking as he walks beside the blue hero. "...Well... Maybe we can figure out where all the crime is happening, and we can just put a stop to it before something really bad happens..."

Sonic grins. "I like your idea, buddy... But the Sonic Hero Agency does that on daily basis... So, your issue should be solved within a few minutes of each crime... From the tiny purse snatchers to the excessively big threats like Eggman..." Sonic squints a little, thinking before he snaps, getting it. "Tails mentioned there was some strange activity happening at one of the Gaia Gates, the one at Shamar. Something with magnets or something..." Sonic says, forgetting the entire speech Tails had said earlier, he knew it did deal with magnets or something along those lines.

Silver had never heard any of these places before... But he was desperate enough to follow ANY lead. "Well if you think it'll help..." Silver then gives a weak smile. "Then let's go."

Coming up behind them was Shadow, holding his keys to his motorcycle. "What's the plan, hedgehog?" He asks, startling both Silver and Sonic before Sonic glances over his shoulder, flashing a nervous smile.

"Well, we're going to head to Shamar... Strange activity is happening there, and I think... It might be the key to Silver's problem."

Shadow lifts an eye ridge, kinda impressed... Only because his troops had expressed their concerns about Shamar's magnetic fields in the area... The locals were complaining that dangerous auras were coming from the temples and were afraid to go to the shrines... And Sonic knew of it already? No... Probably Tails' doing. "Very well then, I'll see you there?"

"Why not join us?" Sonic asks as the trio strolled into a large open room... The walls were rocky due to the cave the base was hidden inside of... But it had a large, raised platform with many air crafts upon it... Large metal crates littered the area as well... Soldiers marched around the area, being mindful of their behavior since their commander was now present in the room... The three hedgehogs made it to the front entrance as a flirtatious bat came inside.

"...I'll consider joining." Shadow manages to state before Rouge notices the trio.

"Shadow?" Rouge asks a little, a small smirk forming on her lipstick-covered lips... Rouge was right underneath Shadow when it came to ranking, as his first Sargent. Rouge was not much of a soldier on the battlefield, but she was certainly the eyes and ears of G.U.N. She was a very skilled spy and an even better jewelry hunter. Using her skills, she was able to climb up the ranks in no time. Shadow rose above her in ranking only because of his ability to go long hours of combat with no slowing down. Rouge stood in at a slightly taller height than the boys, due to her high heels of course. Her fur around her head and tail were snow-white while her skin that covered most of her exposed skin is a lovely, tanned tone. Her eyes were teal, as teal as the world's finest sapphires. Her figure was more on the curvy side as she placed her hands on her hips, eyeing the trio hard as she was busy being checked in by the guards at the front entrance. Her wings were folded against her back as she glared at her best friend. Who had promised her a nice lunch...? Now he is leaving.

Rouge was also a woman of style. She refused to wear anything related to G.U.N because she was worried it would ruin her outfit. Which consisted of knee-high boots with hearts on the tips of her boots. If she ever desired to, she could click a button on the inside of her shoes to activate a switchblade that was hidden inside of the boots, which helped her in combat or when climbing unsteady walls while she did her job. She wore a dark, skintight unitard that came up to her beltline, which transitioned to a hot pink top that covered most of her upper half, except a heart-shaped opening right where her cleavage was. She was a seductive bat, and she knew it. On her belt, she had a bunch of little gadgets to use at her disposal. On her left thigh, she wore an extra strap for her bombs she could plant with no issues. Her gloves were long, up to her elbows but they seemed to match the theme of her outfit, hot pink with hints of black and white. Her bangs covered one of her eyes just enough for her to peek out from behind them.

"Where are you going?" She asked, finally getting the okay to go inside. Her large ears flattening against her head as she approached the trio. "I thought you said we could go out for lunch today..." She says with a frown.

"Change of plans Rouge," Shadow says gently, eyeing Silver from the corners of his eyes before he gestures to the gray hedgehog to his right. "We decided to let him go, but under strict supervision."

Rouge blinked quickly in response, was not expecting that. "...Oh?" She then looks at Silver, locking eye contact before flashing a coy smile. "Hate to see this little cutie go...~" She then lifts a hand to gently cup Silver's face, causing the anxious hedgehog to panic a little, quickly retracting away from her touch. "But gosh... that stinks," Rouge says with a frown, eyeing Shadow hard. "We had this little lunch outing planned for weeks now... Omega was even planning on meeting us there." She says with a frown.

"Think of it as a good thing, Rouge!" Sonic pipes up, grinning at the female bat who beams right back. "He simply owes you an I.O.U now...~" He says with a wink.

"Ooohh... Good idea Big Blue...~" Rouge says with a smirk, eyeing her bestie with an amused smirk as Shadow deadpans. "Then you owe me another lunch date AND a manicure...~" She says with a wink, grinning like a fool as Sonic chuckles in amusement at Shadow's reaction.

"Whatever," Shadow grumbles, rolling his eyes before he walks past Rouge. "See you later, Rouge... We have a lot to do."

"Alrighty then...~" Rouge says with an amused smirk, giving Sonic a gentle high five out of amusement, turning around to watch the boys leave... Sonic and Silver both follow the black hedgehog before waving goodbye. "Be careful boys!" She calls out after them, cupping her mouth with one hand as she leans forward a little, sending them off with good luck. Her wings spreading out to air out as she waves goodbye... Once outside in the daylight, Silver sighs a little.

"She makes me nervous." Silver comments.

"She makes everyone nervous, Silver~" Sonic says with a chuckle, eyeing the surrounding area. Since it was a military base, it was hidden within the landscape... The nearest city was several miles away, but it was merely just a simple jog to Sonic. Sonic stretches a little before he beams over at Shadow who was busy climbing onto his motorcycle nearby. "Did you have a date with her?"

"It wasn't a date." Shadow grumbles. "I'm tired of people assuming that." He rolls his eyes a little before he glances over at the other two hedgehogs. "It's more like a lunch outing. Besides, she'd use it as an excuse to complain about your friend, Knuckles."

Sonic could not help but crack into a smile, amused upon hearing this news. "Ooohhh... Dang, they both got feelings for one another, yet won't say a word to one another..." Sonic snorts amused a little as he jumps side to side, warming up for another run.

"Yeah. It's annoying..." Shadow sighs, glancing forward before turning on the cycle, lifting one leg to rest on the rear footrest. "Lead the way, Sonic... I'm assuming we're going to Tails' workshop, correct?"

"Yeah... Tails has all the details we need, and we can just use the Tornado to fly there."

"Very well." Shadow kicks the kickstand up before revving up the motorcycle, driving off to the final exit, which was a large fence with barbwire at the top... He rides off before Sonic turns his attention to Silver who stood there awkwardly.

"How fast can you run?" Sonic asks, grinning a little.

"...Not very fast..."

"Pfft... It can't be that bad..." Sonic says, trotting off ahead to test out of fast Silver was... He has slow friends, but he was used to them catching up... But for Silver, it was a different story... After an awkward run to Sonic's side. Sonic frowns. "Dang... It's that bad..."

"No worries though!" Silver says, excitedly at first before he suddenly steps back a little, closing his eyes to concentrate... Within a few seconds, he began to glow with a turquoise hue to his aura, rising a few inches above the ground before he opens his eyes, flashing a smile.

"That's cool!" Sonic exclaims, amused at the abilities Silver had to show off. "You gotta show me everything you can do later when Shadow isn't around since he's super anal about following rules and laws and all that...~" Sonic flashes a grin before he turns back towards where Shadow was at... He had finally reached the entrance and was driving through the gates. "Ready?!" He asks, getting into a sprinting position, kneeling close to the ground as he puts his hands flat on the gravel road beneath him.

"Ready." Silver says, looking straight ahead. With that said Sonic sped off quickly, Silver was quick to follow, right on his tail practically as the two of them caught up to Shadow, who was already halfway out of the gate... The wind blasting through Sonic's quills as he glances over his shoulder at Silver, who gave a nod of approval, showing him that he could keep up... Feeling a grin forming on his face, Sonic chuckled to himself, keeping his eyes locked straight ahead as he heard Shadow's motorcycle speed up behind him...
