When Lucinex returned to Heaven, he marched up to Michael and yelled, "Where is he, Michael? You've kept him away from me for long enough!" Michael looked confused, but Lucinex could tell it was just another act to keep him silent and obedient. Once, many centuries ago, it would have worked. That was before he came into Lucinex's life, full of spunk, life, and so many questions.

"What do you mean, Lucinex? What seems to be the problem?" Michael asked with a fake smile. Lucinex had no more patience for her half-truths and manipulations, he just wanted to find his friend.

"You know exactly who I mean and what I want! Where is he? Why are you hiding him from me? I need him!" Lucinex shouted, his fists clenching. "Naughty little lion!" a cheeky voice teased. "That kind of temper could hurt zzomebody one day" Michael shook his head, looking disappointed.

"Oh, Lucinex. I didn't want to tell you this," he sighed, looking at him with a perfect expression of pity. "Your friend Fell, Lucinex. I don't think somebody like him would survive Hell."

"No," Lucinex whispered. "He's alive, I know it. He's far too stubborn to die!" Tadfield Airbase. Lucinex didn't know why that location stood out to him, all he could think about was the Tadfield airbase and bright, purple eyes staring into his soul.

"Fine," Michael declared, "You must return to Heaven in three days for a very important meeting. Until then, you can go pointlessly wander around Earth." Lucinex stomped away, determined to find his friend.

Adam Young just wanted a normal life. He didn't even care about getting some brand new toy or some fancy game. All he wanted was to live a chaos-free, peaceful life, but he was still the Antichrist after all. An angel and a demon appeared at his door and asked for his help. If it had been anybody else, they would have been unceremoniously dealt with by Dog. However, these two felt oddly familiar. The way that the red-headed angel walked, the nervous smile of the demons, just everything, really. "Excuse me, young sir," the demon politely asked. "My acquaintance and I are here to ask about your involvement at the Tadfield airbase."

"No," Adam sighed after sipping his cup of coffee. "I am not doing what you want. I've had enough of this nonsense." The angel looked at him pleadingly.

"Please," he begged. "I need the answers. You're the only one that I know who could have them." Suddenly, Adam linked the dots. Although he would never know what made him able, the result was clear.

He nodded at them and declared. "I have some answers. Come with me, I will help the best that I can." They both looked at each other in confusion but followed him. "Here, have a seat," Adam continued, "I think I'm about to blow your minds away." Something told him this was going to be a long day.

Lucinex was haunted by purple all around him. Things that he had seen as beautiful and pure just a few days ago were now taunting and cruel. Everywhere he looked, he saw purple. It was on the flowers he passed in the parks, painted on the buildings in the city, flashing in the hair of humans on the street, everywhere. Yet none of it was the right kind. They were always too dark or too light, they didn't sparkle with life, they weren't his purple. "Where are you?" Lucinex whispered as he went to place after place with nothing but foggy memories and shadows to guide him. "Where are you?" Lucinex was meant to be calm and controlled, the picture of angelic grace. Lucinex was meant to be the Designer, God's Lifegiver, the one in the shadows adding the final touch to Her creations. He changed that, he made him question everything he had so blindly accepted. Purple everywhere. So much purple, yet none of them are right.

Somebody was screaming, begging "Please, leave him alone! I'll do anything, just don't hurt him!"

A rustle in the grass interrupted Lucinex's blurry memory. He turned around to find Eachulan on all fours, slowly crawling towards them. The shy, polite demon that had taken him to lunch had disappeared, replaced with a merciless killer stalking its prey. His eyes were clouded with madness and bloodlust, his furred face was stained with blood, his mouth was parted in a silent growl, revealing sharp, red-coated teeth. "Please," Lucinex begged, quickly backing away, "I know you are better than this, Eachulan. Please, I don't want to hurt you!" Eachulan just licked his lips and turned completely hyena. Lucinex ran away, unwilling to injure the maddened demon.

Eachulan had been having one of his worse days. It started when he had seen a small child being attacked by an angry adult. Usually, Eachulan didn't notice or care about human matters, but all morning he had been tormented with memories of his Fall.

His wings being broken with effortless movements. His mouth forced open as they cut out his tongue. Flames licking around him burning him alive.

He may have been looking at a crying, screaming child being hit by a furious adult, but he didn't see that. All he could see was Michael calmly torturing him as he silently screamed for mercy. He attacked as a hyena, leaping onto Michael, teeth bared and claws extended. Just before he landed the killing blow, the vision faded away. He retreated before the injured human could get back up, leaving the awed child behind. The blood was still fresh when Michael was in front of him again, taunting him. Yes, run! He thought as he chased the vision, licking his lips. Run, you angelic coward!

Suddenly, just as quick as it came, the vision left. No. He thought desperately as Lucinex ran away in fear. Not him, anyone but him. The one being that was nice without ulterior motives was now scared off just like everyone else. As much as Eachulan liked Muck, he still saw it as a necessary alliance rather than friendship. Only fools trusted their coworkers, that was painfully clear even before he Fell. Solemnly morphing back to a more humanoid form, he went to do what he did best. Destroy everything he touched.

Raphael stared intensely at the photo as if it would somehow reveal the mysteries of the universe. In the picture, two beings stood together, looking at each other lovingly. What was even more shocking was their wings, clearly marking them as an angel and a demon. "Aziraphale," he whispered, almost subconsciously, as he traced his finger over the picture of the beaming angel. Flaming sword. First storm. Rainbow. Rome. Too much. Far too much love everywhere. The love in the picture was drowning him, and the cold, stiff love in Heaven couldn't even begin to compare with this mere picture. He shakily put down the picture and continued walking around the bookshop that was vibrating with love at every corner. Muck was more hesitant, jumping at every noise and looking around like an angry angel would pop out of nowhere.

"Calm down, M. This place is safe, I can feel it," he teased, smiling widely.

"Shut up and eat your oysters!" Muck growled playfully. Adam rolled his eyes as he watched them banter with each other.

"You two lovebirds stopped flirting with each other yet?" he sighed, taking another long sip of his coffee. Just as Muck was stammering out a reply, Lucinex teleported into the bookshop. Turning to Adam he gasped and said, "There you are! I've been looking for you everywhere!" Muck didn't say anything, simply staring in horror at the angel who had famously Fallen more than six thousand years ago.
