I don't own Bakugan

After Alice had come to move with Judai and his family, the mood of the entire family shifted if only a little as Judai could see that Alice was happy even though she was still hurting over the fact that her grandfather was still missing.

The next day, both Judai and Eve went to school while Alice stayed to help tend to the shop.

After school was over Judai was thankful that he get to go home when suddenly a girl put her hand on his desk

The girl had blue eyes and mid-length blonde hair where a small section of it is braided, she was wearing a pink shirt and a mid-length dark pink skirt. The girl's name is Mui and she is another of Judai's childhood friends.

"What is it Mui? Can't you see that I want to go home?" Judai said annoyed

"You've skipped out on history class you won't even enter the classroom." Mui said in annoyance.

"I know everything there is to know about history, so I don't need to be reminded a second time Mui." Judai snorted.

"Just because you come from a family of scientists and archaeologists doesn't give you the right to skip class, all students need to be accounted for including you!' Mui said with authority in her voice.

"Yeah whatever." Judai said as he got up and ran.

"Get back here Judai, I'm not done with you!" Mui called out.

Outside the school Judai met up with Eva who was looking bored.

"What took you so long?" Eva said in a bored tone.

"I'll give you a hint." Judai said

"Mui again? I swear you two are like an old married couple." Eva sighed.

"Shut it maid, let's just get back home." Judai said as he ran back home with Eva right behind him.

"You know it's usually girls who run away from boys, not the other way around." Eva quipped.

Meanwhile staring from a window inside the school was Mui who was annoyed with Judai's behavior.

"I swear he's annoying, he's just like Dan, a lazy jerky rule breaker, who has no respect for the rules of the school." Mui huffed.

Meanwhile at Dan's house, Dan suddenly got a chill in his spine.

"What's wrong Dan?" Drago asked.

"I don't know, I feel like someone is talking about me and not in a good way." Dan said he wondered if it was Runo since he did take her lunch without her knowing and she must have found out.

Meanwhile both Judai and Eva got back home at what Judai described their dusty shop.

"Well home sweet home I guess." Judai sighed.

"At least until we move." Eva added, as they walked inside as they saw their mom sitting at the cash register looking bored.

"Still no customers?" Judai asked.

Lucy just sighed. "I don't know what we are doing wrong, me and your father hoped there would be people interested in some artifact that we found during our trips.."

"Mom, not everyone is like us who is interested in artifacts." Judai said.

Eva walked up to her mom and smirked. "Don't worry, we might get some soon, I took the liberty of making us a web site."

Judai widened his eyes. "Wait a damn minute. When was this? During School?"

"I started last night and I finished it at school during lunch." Eva said, as she run upstairs and a minute later she came back down with her laptop as she logged in she searched up the stores name and she opened up the tab, it show their business logo with two bakugan a Pyrus on the left and Aqua's on the right, it displayed many of the artifacts they had and Judai's eye twitched when he saw what other items were on there.

"What…...the…...Fucking…..Hell….Eva?" Judai asked

"Jealousy is such an ugly emotion, Judai." Eva said smugly. "Since most people nowadays do their shopping online this will attract more attention then just spotting our store and this will bring in people from nearby as well. "

Lucy looked intrigued and smiled. "Good Idea, Eva why didn't me and your father think of this. I'll go tell him about it now." she said as she left.

Judai looked at Alice. "Alice help me out here will you." Judai pleaded

"Judai I don't own this store, I just started working at it so you and your family are the ones who decide these things." Alice said.

"He's just jealous that I came up with the idea, and he didn't and he says he is the smarter of the two of us."Eva smuggly smiled.

"I'm not." Judai said. "And I see you are also putting Bakugan up there too, you know it's unethical."

"Judai, it's not really unethical, think about it as giving them a good home, Mom and Dad have them stored up and they shouldn't be left to catch dust now that's unethical." Eva said.

"She does have a point, Judai. Bakugan shouldn't be used for display, they should be with partners so we can take care of them." Alice added.

"Yeah but some of these ancient Bakugan for some reason still won't wake up." Judai said

"Maybe someone who battles can wake them up, Judai it feels like we're hoarding them. " Eva said she did care about the ancient Bakugan but it felt wrong to just display them like some trophy .

Judai growled before he could speak, the doorbell rang open as two young ladies walked in.

One of the girls had red hair and blue eyes, she was wearing overalls that show her shoulder blades and part of her stomach and back as well as a yellow skirt that shows her legs and her short blue shorts underneath. She also had a yellow and blue necklace, blue boots, blue arm coverings, blue socks and blue jewel earrings. This was Jenny.

The other girl has green hair and brown eyes, she wore a black necklace and yellow earrings. She was wearing a white and pink robe with a blue belt and pink boots. This was Jewels

Together they form JJ Dolls, a pair of singers.

"Ohh my god… it's Jenny and Jewels the JJ Dolls…" Eva said with a stutter.

"Who?" Judai asked.

"What?! You don't know who they are? They are the greatest pop group of all times!" Eva said mortified that Judai didn't even know how they were.

"Really? You must be out of touch Judai. They are big hits all over the world. They even did a concert back in Russia, me and my friends went there to see it." Alice said.

"It's nice to see some fans of ours, we can give an autograph." Jenny smiled.

"That'll be great." Eva smiled.

"So girls, what would two idols such as yourself be doing in a shop such as ours?" Judai asked

"We came after seeing your website talking about selling Bakugan, we may not look like it. But we love Bakugan, but our manager keeps us so busy we don't even have time to play." Jewels said.

"What the heck." Nillious said as he appeared floating. "You mean the brats plan actually worked?"

"Hpmh, it seems she's smarter than our partner." Leonidas said not even ashamed of insulting Judai.

"Well my brother has just the Bakugan for you." Eva smirked pointing to Judai who just glared at her

Judai just sighed. "Ok, what Attribute do you two prefer?"

"I'm a Aquos user." Jenny said.

"Subterra's my jam." Jewels added.

"Hmm, I think I have just the ones for you." Judai said as he walked into the storage closet, a few minutes later he came back with an Aquos and a Subterra bakugan each.

"This is Aquos Siege and Subterra Centipoid!" Judai said as he introduced them to Jenny and Jewels

"I'm not sure, Centipoid isn't really the strongest?" Jewels said.

"True, but he has all kinds of powers including the ability to call others to him or force enemies to face him, I think he would be perfect for you." Judai said as he gave her Centipoid.

Jewels looked at Centipoid and smiled. "Call for backup huh? That sounds perfect for us Jenny."

"And Aquos Siege is one of the best Aquos Bakugan, he has an ability that causes all Bakugan but him to lose if they are on the same gate card, combined that with Centipoid's ability to call enemies over you will have a killer combination." Judai said as he gave Jenny Aquos Siege.

"Thank you! Thank You!" Jenny said happily as she hugged Judai, making him blush nervously, Alice just frowned as seeing it, while Eva just gave a cheeky smirk.

"Um you two are welcome." Judai said as he rang up Aquos Siege and Subterra Centipoid before giving them to the JJ Dolls.

"Thank you Judai, you are a real swell guy." Jewels said.

"You can expect to be around us more often." Jenny said, before she took out a post and she and Jewels signed it and gave it to Eva who was fangirling over it.

"See ya." both said before blowing kisses at Judai who blushed at the action, before leaving.

"Well, that was something." Judai said.

"I'll say." Alice said dryly.

"Oh it looks like my brother is hitting on famous people now." Eva teased.

"Oh shut up you brat!" Judai exclaimed.

"Admit it, Eva was right." Eva smirked.

"Yeah right… the day I admit you are right is the day you find a talking Bakugan." Judai said.

The next day, Judai was in class and Mui walked up to his desk.

"What do you want now Mui?" Judai asked. "Can't you see that i'm exhausted?"

"Yeah I don't care, I had a personal talk with the principal who had a talk with your parents and starting today i'm your tutor." Mui smirked.

"Wait what?" Judai said as he woke up and raised his head in shock. "When did this happen?"

"Yesterday when you ran away, you need to focus more and not be absent in any class." Mui said.

"Bullshit! I'm not going to be stuck with you all day." Judai said in anger.

"Language we are in school." Mui said.

"I don't care, you can't decide this stuff for me." Judai said.

"Judai, I think you should listen to Mui." Nillious said

"Don't you dare take her side, I'm going to talk to my parents about this. It is unacceptable." Judai said.

"Judai you don't have much of a choice and i'm joking this time." Eva said as she walked up to them. "I think it's bull to that she's forcing this on you, but our parents said it's for your own good since you do kinda act like a jerk and there have been reports of you sleeping in class and skipping class too."

Judai just ignored them as he went to Dan's classroom.

"Hey! Where are you going?" Mui yelled.

"Far from you as possible!" Judai yelled back.

Meanwhile Judai entered Dan's classroom, surprising Dan.

"Sup Dan, mind if I hang out here?" Judai asked

"Sure, but what are you doing here? Did you change classes or something?" Dan asked.

Nillious appeared. "No, apparently Mui is now Judai's tutor and will be stuck with him all day starting today and Judai is just avoiding the problem." Nillious said as he explained.

"Damn… i'm sorry to hear that. Mui is one of the strictest students in school, you know she's a part of the disciplinary committee? I'm surprised that she's sticking to you like glue, you must have really ticked her off for her request this." Dan said.

"I know and the worst part is that she and I are childhood friends." Judai said

"Woah! Didn't know that, if you guys are childhood friends that does make sense why she's dogging you alot." Dan said.

"Drago, how are you doing these days?" Nillious asked.

"Besides listening to Dan snore at night, pretty good and we have gotten a few battles this week." Drago answered.

"Yeah me and Judai are almost the same." Nillious chuckled.

"When will I get to crush my opponents?" Leonidas said, ready to battle at any time.

"You know what, i think we'll battle someone today since Mui put me in a foul mood." Judai smirked as he gave an evil grin.

"I would battle you, but I got something I have to do today after school, I wish you luck with Mui." Dan said.

"Thanks." Judai said as he gave a thumbs up

At that time the door slammed open revealing Mui with an annoyed look on her face. "So this is where you were Yamato?"

"Oh shit." Judai shouted.

"You're on your own man." Dan said before he left out the door past Mui.

"Kuso, I'll deal with you later." Mui said, causing Dan to freeze in fear.

"Come on Mui, what did I do this time?" Dan questioned in annoyance.

"I know you stole from Runo during lunch, and stealing is against the rules." Mui stated.

"Well some rules are meant to be broken." Dan said before he ran off with Mui yelling.

"I'll get him later." Mui grumbled before turning to Judai. "And now you will listen to me."

"And if I refuse?" Judai said

"I will contact Lucy, and you can take it up with her." Mui said.

Judai just lowered his shoulders and fell on his knees. "Yes ma'am as you wish."

"That's better from now on, you've better appear in class and we'll have some study sessions after school in the coming day." Mui smirked before leaving.

Not long after Eva poked her head in and approached her brother. "I'm sorry, I couldn't defend you, but she might get me in trouble if I spoke up. I can't believe she's even Mui, she was never like this back then."

"I know right and I had plans after school." Judai whined.

"Well look on the bright side, you two can catch up on old times." Eva said.

"Not helping, I had plans to battle later and now I'm stuck with Mui. the universe is punishing me for something." Judai sighed.

Later after school both Judai and Mui were in the library and were studying.

"So Mui, when did you change?" Judai asked. "You were never like this, you were always sweet and gentle."

"I don't need to tell you, just focus." Mui said.

Judai was lightly hurt that Mui wouldn't tell him but did as she said and continued studying.

"Mui, what did I do to make you hate me this much besides just skipping class and sleeping?" Judai asked.

"Like I said I don't need to tell you, now here's the next book you will read." Mui said as she gave him a new book.

"I barely got done with this!" Judai exclaimed before Mui shushed him.

"We're in a library, be respectful of others reading." Mui said.

Judai just sighed, knowing this was going to be a long day.

At that time Eva had met up with Dan and Runo in the park.

"I can't believe she forced that upon him. That girl is really annoying." Runo said she had never been fond of Mui, she was too strict, one time all Runo did was dose off and she was slapped with clean up duty for a week.

"Yeah, she even has a target on my back for later." Dan said.

"She wasn't always like this, she was nice and gentle and a great person. I don't know what happened after me and Judai left." Eva added.

"It's hard to believe she was ever anything different, all we know her for is being strict and forcing punishment as she sees fit." Dan said with his arms crossed.

"I think the old Mui's still in there, maybe if me and Judai hang out with her after school at the places we went to as kids she'll turn around." Eva said.

After Judai's study session was over. Judai got a message from Eva to ask Mui if she wanted to hang out for old times sake.

"Mui do you want to hang out for old times sake?" Judai asked.

Mui just stared at him. "I have other things to do today, I'll think about it."

Nillious than appeared. "Mui if will mean alot for us alright." Nillious said.

Mui just bit her lip and sighed. "Ok, i'll hang out with you Judai."

"Thank you Mui." Judai said

Later both Mui and Judai went out, Judai decided that their first location would be the arcade. It was one of their favorite places to go to when they were little.

"Remember the time me, you and Eva came here? We won all sorts of prizes, like that pink teddy bear I gave you." Judai said.

"Yeah…" Mui muttered.

Judai frowned he could see getting her to open up will be difficult, as he and Mui began to play some games from whack-a-mole to racing to Skee-Ball after gathering a lot of tickets Judai traded them in for a blue teddy like the one he gave Mui a long time ago as he gave it to her, she accepted it but didn't crack a smile

Judai later took Mui to the Zoo, where she used to enjoyed all the animals and where Eva discovered her love for exotic reptiles

"You know Eva still wants a Komodo Dragon, but I doubt she's ever getting one." Judai smirked.

"No one should have wild animals as pets, they deserve to be free." Mui said.

"What about Buster than?" Judai asked.

"He was raised by you so I doubt he would survive long." Mui said.

Judai just sighed as Mui's still cold and that's nothing working so far

"Come on, your favorite animal is performing, remember the dolphins? They splashed us while we were in the stands." Judai said.

"Whatever you say." Mui said.

Judai just frowned, the dolphins were her favorite, and the reason she would come to the Zoo the most even though they didn't break her mask. They left to watch the dolphins as a huge crowd of people cheered as the dolphins and their human trainers were doing tricks and the grand finale was when a dolphin jumped through the ring causing a huge splash which landed on both Judai and Mui.

"Hahaha, looks like we're all wet." Judai joked.

"You're right, I hope this dries fast." Mui said.

This time Judai noticed a ghost of a smile on Mui's lips, he could see she was opening up, he just needed to keep taking her to places and hopefully get his old friend back.

After they saw the dolphins, Judai and Mui left the zoo and went to the amusement park.

"Remember Mui when we went to the amusement park?" Judai asked.

"Yeah, I remember we rode the Ferris wheel and other rides." Mui said.

Judai smirked, Mui was opening up he could feel it. As they both entered the amusement park, the first thing they went one was the roller coaster, Judai laughed while Mui screamed in fear as they got off Mui fell on the ground as Judai lowered next to her as he helped Mui to her feet as just he chuckled while she just pouted and turned away.

Later after riding the rollercoaster, they started going on more rides. Eventually they were on the Ferris Wheel.

"It's an amazing view, huh?" Judai asked.

"Yes, it feels nice to see it." Mui said.

Judai looked at her. "Mui what's bothering you? Why did you change?"

Mui just bit her lip not even turning to him. "I told you, I don't need to tell you."

Judai growled and grabbed her shoulders and forced her to face him. "Tell me what the hell happened to you? Mui you were my best friend, you were kind and gentle and now you are cold and strict. Tell me, what happened to my best friend?"

Mui tried to get out of his grip. "I grew up! That's my answer!"

"Not good enough! Before me and Eva left, you were still nice!" Judai exclaimed. "I'm not letting go until you tell me the real reason."

Mui continued to fight him but eventually tired out and stopped struggling.

"Please Mui, I just want to know." Judai asked in a begging tone, what shocked him was that she began to cry.

"You two left me…." Mui said barely over a whisper.

"What?" Judai asked, not hearing her.

"You and Eva left me!" Mui exclaimed tears coming out of eyes. "You two were my only friends and when you two left, I felt lonely and you two never even contacted me! I've waited but nothing, no email! Or phone call nothing!"

Judai was taken back, Mui was angry at him and Eva for moving away, he had to guess that led her to becoming strict and cold, and to make it worse he and Eva didn't even attempt to contact her and that made him feel like scum.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know." Judai said ashamed.

"You never even tried to talk to me, you always avoided me as soon as you entered the school." Mui added sniffling.

"I'm sorry." Judai said as he held Mui closely to him.

"Hick, I am too." Mui said as she hugged him back.

The next day Mui was not as strict as before, but she did have a job to do, she was actually smiling which shocked most of the student body, while Judai and Eva smiled that they definitely had their friend back.

"I'm glad she's back to normal, she may still enforce the rules. But she's not cold anymore." Judai said.

"Yeah, I'm happy Mui's back." Eva smiled.

Later after school Judai decided to grant Leonidas his wish and did a couple of battles with some brawlers at the park and after winning 10 battles in a row, Judai decided to head back home.

"That was a good day, you're happy right Leo?" Judai asked.

"Hmph, I can still go a few more rounds." Leonidas said.

"I bet but it's getting dark out." Nillious said.

Eventually Judai made it home and check his bakupod and to his joy after 10 consecutive victories, his rank has rose from 300 all the way to 165

"Alright! I'm doing good, at this rate. I'll catch up to that smug sister of mine soon." Judai said.

Judai's mother Lucy then appeared "How are you doing?" she asked.

"Great, where's Alice and Eve? Shouldn't they be home?" Judai asked.

"They're both getting groceries for dinner tonight." Lucy answered.

"Ok, I'm heading to my room, call me when dinner is ready." Judai said he walked up stairs.

When Judai got into his room and turned on the computer and went on the website, all the other brawlers were already on there.

"Dan what's going on?" Judai asked.

"I had a bad encounter with a masked boy called Masquerade, and get this, he sent my bakugan to some place called the doom dimension." Dan said, shocking Judai and most of all Nillious.

"The Doom Dimension?" Nillious exclaimed as he appeared. "Boy are you positive that's what he said?"

"I'm sure, I was there as well." Drago answered as he appeared on screen.

"What is the doom dimension?" Marucho asked

"It's an alternate dimension, all Bakugan that are sent there can never escape from that place, it's practically death for us which is why the doom dimension is also called the Death Dimension." Nillious explained.

"That sounds practical." Julie commented. "So this Masquerade has a way to send Bakugan there, but how did he even get the power to do that?"

"I don't know, no human should be able to do it. And if that's the case, any bakugan who battles him will be sent to the Doom Dimension." Nillious said.

"This sounds bad, I have to warn Eva about this in case he's targeting high level battlers." Judai said.

"We all have to be careful, so it's safe to say we must stay alert." Marucho said.

"Ok, i'll talk to you guys later." Judai said as he logged out

At that moment, both Eva and Alice came back home with all the groceries

"Thanks girls, I'll prepare dinner now." Lucy said.

After preparing dinner, Lucy called for Judai to come down, after they had dinner, Judai dragged both Eva and Alice to his room.

"Woah dragging us to your room brother, finally going to do the deed?" Eva joked

"Your jokes are not very funny." Judai said.

"Let's not fight, you two." Alice said.

Judai just sighed as he turned to Eva. "Eva have you heard the news yet?" Judai asked.

"News?" Eva questioned.

"The news about a brawler named Masquerade?" Judai said.

"Oh yeah, I've heard about him, he just appeared out of nowhere, and many battlers claimed that their bakugan had vanished." Eva said.

"Those rumors are true." Nillious said as he appeared. "He's sending them to the Doom Dimension."

"That's terrible, how could anyone do that?" Alice said.

"I don't know, I'm just warning you to watch yourself and be careful since he might go after the high ranking battlers." Judai said to Eva.

"I'll be careful Judai." Eva said in a serious tone. "Wait, Chan's ranked 3rd, she's a prime target!"

"I tried to contact her but nothing and nothing is never a good sign." Judai said.

At that time Chan Lee had received a message telling her to meet a mysterious challenger in an abandoned lot she had just arrived at, normal people wouldn't have taken the message seriously and would be nervous, but Chan wasn't afraid especially since she knew kung fu. After about 10 minutes of waiting she was wondering if it was just a prank.

"I think this is a trap Chan." her partner Fourtress said.

"I'm aware of that." Chan answered as she arrived. "Alright I'm here, now show yourself you coward." she shouted

Suddenly a boy who looked about a year or two older than her, He was wearing a red martial arts gi with black martial arts pants as well as white martial arts boots, he also had a white Chinese-like attire worn around his waist.

"Lao Suon…" Chan Lee grumbled, this boy was her rival, he was rank 12 and he was a pain in her ass. Always trying to prove he was better than her at Martial arts and in Bakugan, and not once has he beaten her. "I should have known it was you to send that message, haven't you learned you can't beat me?"

Lao just chuckled, which Chan just frowned. "Not this time, I have a Bakugan that will beat you pathetic Fourtress." as he held up a red bakugan.

"Bring it on Lao!" Chan Lee exclaimed.

"Gate Card Open!" they both shouted as the battle started and time stood still before it started moving forward again. Chan smirked as she left her rival who was hitting the ground in anger behind, completely unaware that she was being watched, by a masked boy.

"Just as I would expect from the 3rd best battler in the world." the boy said before he vanished.

The next day was a Saturday so there was no school today so Judai and Eva don't have to go to school today but Mui was coming later to help Judai study.

Judai woke up and after getting dressed, got out of his room and came to the living room where he saw Buster lying down on the floor relaxed and being comfortable before walking to the kitchen counter and fixing himself a cup of tea before sitting down at the table

At that point Eva entered the kitchen along with Alice.

"Good morning Alice and to you as well maid." Judai said as he finished drinking his glass of tea.

"I am not your maid!" Eva said. "At least I helped drum up business unlike you who had been lazing about lately."

"Whatever." Judai said. "Where's mom and dad?" he asked.

"Oh they left for a couple of months." Eva said as she gave him a letter.

"Wait what?" Judai said as he grabbed and looked at it.

{Dear children, your mom and dad were called to look at some ruins in Indonesia. We'll be gone for a couple of months. Both of you be well-behaved and make sure to look after the shop and take care of Alice while we're gone. Love Your Loving parents}

{Ps. Alice please make sure Judai and Eva don't kill each other while we are gone. With what happened last time we want to make sure we have both our kids alive.}

{PPS. Eva We'll try to get papers to bring back a Komodo Dragon with us….if we're lucky.}

Eva gasped but smiled. "Yess!" she jumped around the room. "I'm getting a Komodo Dragon!"

"They said if we are lucky so don't get your hopes up." Judai said with his arms crossed.

Meanwhile at the front door, someone knocked on it.

"Oh great, it's probably Mui." Judai said as he headed to the front door and opened it revealing Mui.

"Hey Mui." Eva smirked.

"Hey Eva." Mui smiled, before turning to Judai. "I hope you don't expect me to go easy on you during this session, we may be childhood friends. But It's my job to enforce the rules."

"Oh goody." Judai muttered sarcastically.

"Now Judai be respectful, she's only trying to make sure you have a good education." Alice said.

"Thank you miss." Mui told Alice

"Call me Alice, Judai is my childhood friend too." Alice said, while Mui frowned. "Is something wrong?"

"No nothing wrong." Mui smiled with her eyes closed. "Judai is my childhood friend as well."

"It's good to hear that, I hope we can be friends too." Alice smiled.

'Oh boy, I sense a cat fight coming.' Eva thought clearly seeing Mui was Jealous of Alice in a way, hopefully she doesn't find out about Chan.

At that point Nillious appeared. "Hey Judai, Chan left a message saying to call her bac-" Nillious stopped himself seeing sparks around Mui and Alice and he just added more fuel into the fire.

"Oh shit." Judai thought

Eva just face palmed herself. 'I just had to Jinx it, and Nillious is the one who made things even worse.' She thought as she glared at him.

"Chan?" Mui questioned with slight hostility.

"Just my pen pal." Judai quickly said, hoping to get out of this mess while sweating a bit, hoping that Mui would buy that.

"Ok." Mui smiled innocently while still showing some hostility. "Well should we get to studying or are going to contact this Chan if you have time?"

"I'll answer Chan's Message for you Judai while you study and tell you what she needs to say later." Eva said nervously hoping to quell the hostility in the room.

"Thanks, Eva." Judai said, before turning to Alice. "You should talk to Chan too Alice, I'm sure she'll want to talk to you as well."

"Sure." Alice replied innocently while showing some rage.

Both Alice and Eva went into Judai's room and got on his computer and saw a video chat from Chan and clicked on it and a screen appeared.

"Chan what happened? We were worried about you." Eva asked.

"I'm sorry I missed your call, I had to deal with an annoying rival of mine again." Chan Lee said, before her face turned grim. "But while I was battling him, I lost one of my Bakugan Warius."

"Oh no, was someone with him? A boy by the name of Masquerade?" Eva asked.

"No, but Lao did play a strange card called the Doom Card at the start of the game." Chan replied.

"I'm so sorry Chan." Alice said.

"That's alright Alice." Chan said. "By the way how's Judai?"

"He's fine, right now he's catching up with our childhood friend Mui." Eva said.

"Mui?" Chan asked, Eva just cursed at herself, she hoped Chan would be more understanding but she could see the Jealousy in her eyes. "That's good to know, I hope they are having fun."

"It's a study session, so I can tell you my brother is not enjoying it." Eva said.

"Well I hope he's doing okay." Chan said with her eyes closed and smiling while her left eye is twitching

"I'm sure he is." Alice said in a distant tone.

'How come these two aren't jealous of each other, but are jealous of Mui?' Eva thought.

"So Chan have you seen my ranking yet? I'm getting closer to your level." Eva said.

"You still have a long way to go Eva, you can bet some of the top ranked battlers will search you out to challenge you." Chan said.

"I'll be ready for them." Eva smirked.

Later after his study session with Mui was over, Mui left for home and Judai went and took Buster for a walk outside.

"Hah." Judai sighed after Mui's encounter with Alice, she suddenly doubled the homework, he could tell that both Alice and Mui would probably be at each other's throats from here on.

"I'm sure it will be alright Judai." Nillous said.

"I still don't get what's the deal here." Leonidas said.

"It's what humans would call Jealousy." Nillious answered. "Apparently when two or more female humans like a male they end up arguing or fighting over the male."

"Whatever, let's go find a battle and forget about it." Leonidas said.

"For once I agree with you Leo." Judai said as they reached the park hoping to find a battle.

At that point Judai could feel the wind around him stirring up as a breeze made him lose focus before he suddenly noticed a blonde haired boy behind him, he was wearing a visor-like mask on his face, he was wearing a white cape-like coat over a blue shirt with what appears to be armor on his chest, he had red gloves on his hands, a belt buckle around his waist, purple pants and boots with small heels at the bottom

Judai sweat a little bit from the feeling that the boy was giving off, as he wiped sweat away he spoke. "Who the hell are you?"

"I've heard about an up and coming battler with two unique bakugan, and i've been looking forward to sending them to the Doom Dimension." the boy said calmly.

From the mention of that name Judai instantly knew who this new arrival was. "You're Masquerade… you're the one who's been sending Battlers Bakugan to the Doom Dimension."

"Hahaha, yes I am. And now it's your turn." Masquerade said.

"Don't be too sure." Judai countered as he took his gate card out.

Masquerade held out his as well

"Field Open!" they both shouted as time around them began to slow down and they were both transported to another dimension.

"Gate Card Set!" They both shouted as they threw their Gate Cards across each other.

Judai-3 Bakugan

Masquerade-3 Bakugan

"Doom Card set." Masquerade declared before dropping a black card with a skull on it which then vanished.

"Be cautious Judai, we mustn't underestimate him." Nillous said.

"I know." Judai said. "Bakugan Brawl! He shouted, launching it at his own gate card. "Stand Pyrus Serpenoid!"

On the gate card, a red serpent with a frill appeared, hissing and was ready for battle

Serpenoid Enters Battle at 340gs

"Bakugan Brawl, Reaper stand!" Masquerade declared launching it at the gate card where Serpenoid was.

On the Gate card where Serpenoid was, a Bakugan that looked like a skeleton version of the grim reaper appeared

Reaper enters Battle at 370gs

"Gate Card open." Judai declared as the gate card open and flames appeared

Serpenoid's power level increased from 340gs to 390gs

"Ability Activate…..Dimension Four!" Masquerade declared

Reaper was engulfed in a dark aura that negated Judai's Gate card canceling Serpenoid's power surge

Serpenoid's power lost detected 390gs to 340gs, Reaper at 370gs

Reaper then lifted up his scythe and slashed the serpent and at that point a void in the dimensions opened up as Serpenoid was sent through it, and the gate card they were battling on vanished before Reaper returned to ball form in victory to Masquerade.

Judai-2 Bakugan

"So that's the Doom Dimension?" Judai said.

"Yes, and if any Bakugan on our side loses they too will be sent there." Nillous sadly said..

"Send me out there and i'll show them real power!" Leonidas said.

"No not yet." Judai said before sending out another Gate card. "Bakugan Brawl Nillious Stand! Launching him on his gate card.

On Judai's Gate card, Nillious spread his wings as he appeared screeching.

Nillious 380gs

"Finally, one of the unique bakugan." Masquerade said.

"That's right, he's one of my strongest so watch yourself." Judai replied.

"Alright let's see what he could do then." Masquerade said. "Bakugan Brawl!" he shouted, launching it at his own gate card "Stand Darkus Warius."

On Masquerade's Gate Card stood a Darkus Warius

Warius enters battle at 360gs

"Nillious…. Ability Activate! Shadow Breath!" Judai declared

Nillious power level increase 380gs to 480gs

"With this ability Nillious could now attack any opponent on any gate card as well as attack two bakugan at the same time." Judai explained as Nillious took out Warius before Nillious went back to ball form in victory and the gate card that Nillious was standing on as well as the gate card that Warius was standing on vanished as well.

Judai-2 Bakugan

Masquerade-2 Bakugan

Masquerade didn't even seem concerned about the loss, he just smirked, as if he had just completed a 5 star sudoku puzzle in record time.

Judai just frowned at that. 'Why is he smiling? It's almost like he allowed me to take out his Bakugan?'

"Gate card set!" Masquerade shouted as he threw a new gate card. "Bakugan Brawl" he shouted, throwing his bakugan on the gate card he just launched. "Reaper Stand!"

On the Gate Card, Reaper appeared once again.

Reaper 370gs.

"Heads up kid." Reaper said.

"I'm not backing down now." Judai said. "Bakugan Brawl… Leonidas Stand!"

On the gate card where Reaper stood Leonidas who appeared roaring before flexing his claws.

Leonidas enters battle at 370gs

"Finally the Bakugan I've been hearing about Leonidas." Masquerade smirked.

"You heard about me huh? Then allow me to show you real power!" Leonidas roared

"Time to show him your power, Leo." Judai said. "Ability Activate…. Alpha Blaster!"

Leonidas 370gs to 470gs

Leonidas then flew up into the sky and fired a blast of energy from his maw at Reaper.

"Ability Activate! Dual Dimension!" Masquerade declared

Reaper was once again covered in a black aura then nullified Leonidas's ability.

Leonidas 470gs back to 370gs

Reaper then used his scythe to counter the blast before flying right at him, Leonidas grabbed the blade and both were at a standstill.

"interesting." Masquerade said as he observed the battle.

"Submit." Reaper declared as he pushed on.

"Fall!" Leonidas roared as he pushed back.

"Gate Card Open!" Masquerade declared as he opened his gate card but then to his, Judai's, Nillious's and Reaper's surprise. Leonidas began glowing with energy as he began shifting colors before the gate card was destroyed and they were suddenly in their home dimension.

"What the hell just happened?" Judai said in shock.

"I don't know, Leonidas what did you do?" Nillous said.

Leo said nothing but growled at not being able to destroy his enemy.

"You and your bakugan are full of surprises. I didn't expect the battle to end that way." Masquerade said in an amused tone. "No matter next time, I will crush you Judai Yamato." Masquerade said before he vanished.

Judai sighed. "Damn, he was only toying with us, he wasn't even battling seriously."

"We can't dwell on this battle Judai, and we have lost a comrade in the battle." Nillous said remembering Serpenoid was lost to the Doom Dimension which he didn't deserve.

Later Judai after taking out his stress from battling Masquerade on some other Brawlers, Judai eventually took Buster back home and when he checked his Bakupod his rank has moved from 165 all the way to 45

"Hey I'm back home." Judai said as he and Buster entered the house.

"Hey Judai, Alice isn't here she left to get some things from the market for dinner." Eva said sitting behind the register.

"Didn't the two of you get groceries a couple of days ago?" Judai asked.

"Yeah, but she's planning on making something special for dinner tonight and we don't have many of the ingredients here." Eva answered.

"Now that's sweet of her." Judai said before turning to Buster. "Right Buster? Isn't that thoughtful of her?"

Buster just nodded his head while wagging his tail.

"She should be back soon." Eva said, just as Alice walked in with some bags in her hands.

"Sorry I took long, the store was full today." Alice said.

"That's ok, I just got home anyway. You won't believe the day I had." Judai said.

"You tell us over dinner." Alice said as she walked into the kitchen.

"So Alice….how's your older brother been doing?" Judai asked

Alice's older brother, Wolf Gehabich was currently 19 years old and just like her grandfather, also a scientist who has a degree in archeology. Wolf had worked with Judai's and Eva's parents before when they still worked with Dr. Michael but when he vanished Alice hadn't told him the news about their grandfather's disappearance.

"I haven't heard from him in a while, he's been so busy. I haven't even told him about Grandfather's disappearance." Alice said as she continued to cook.

"Why haven't you?" Judai asked.

"Well the last time we talked was when he went to some ruins with some colleagues of his in China and that was before grandfather vanished." Alice explained

"Ruins?" Eva asked.

"Yeah, ever since the Bakugan appeared, my brother Wolf was studying the ancient Bakugan that your parents gathered and believed he found a link to the Bakugan." Alice said.

"Ruins huh? That almost sounds familiar." Judai said.

"I still haven't told him the sad news about our grandfather though." Alice said.

"You should tell him sooner rather than later, waiting will just be bad." Eva said.

"Maybe you're right, apparently I just got a call from Wolf saying that he's coming to town to help open up a museum." Alice said. "And he'll be here tomorrow."

"That's great, maybe we should go and meet him at the Museum." Eva said.

"Yeah, I wonder how he's going?" Judai questioned. "Besides that, I should tell you two about the battle I had today, and trust me it wasn't a cake walk."

Meanwhile on a plane to Wardington, was a young man with gold colored eyes..

"I can't wait to see my sister Alice." the young man said as in his hands was a golden Bakugan in ball form.
