Author's note: I actually wrote this chapter at like 2 AM then I fell asleep since I had school, but then I was like screw it: screw school and work on this.(Not recommend that you do, school is actually important) Now I'm working on it again. I should probably shut up and get this started already.
"Oh look! It's Juno! And who is this?" As Reuniclus was floating wearing a straw hat with sunglasses being followed by an Ampharos wearing a sweater and some sandals. As Yumi was seemingly to be excited, the Ampharos seemed to stay quiet.
Velo did not want to be here, slouching his back a bit more than usual. Juno didn't know what to say but speechless. "He's uhh…" As she looked at Velo knowing that his body language was a bit down. "He's just someone that I just met."
"Are you sure?" Yumi took a closer look at Velo. "He looks like your boyfrienddd~." As she teased Juno.
"H-he's not!" She looked at Yumi frustratingly.
Velo groaned and facepalmed and decided to leave the shop as the Ampharos was in the way. "Could you please move?" Ampharos shrugged and moved inside the shop. "Thank you."
"Velo!" Juno yelled, as he looked behind. "Where are you going?" She said, sounding a bit sad that her new friend is leaving.
"I'm going home." As he kept walking not look back.
"Will you at least come to the tournament to spectate?" As she looked concerned.
"Uh… Sure." As he lied leaving to go home.
Juno was about to say something else but decided to give up. Feeling a bit down, "So why are you guys here?" As she tried changing the mood.
"We actually just decided to hang out and take a break just how we suggested to you. Eli and Zeal are also with us." As Yumi giggled, looking at the Ampharos. "What about you Callie?" As she shrugged.
"Don't ask me, you wanted to go shopping." She crossed her arms, puffing her face up. But looking at Juno seeing her clothes, "Anyway, why were you with that Jolteon? Is he actually your boyfriend?"
"N-no… I'm honest we just met, we may of be eeveelutions but it's not like that! You guys guessed if I was dating Eli because we are eeveelutions. But we're not." As she crossing her arms.
Yumi giggled a bit, "Your reaction never gets old, and it's the same as always. What's with the outfit? Did that Jolteon pick that for you?" She took a closer look at her outfit, as Juno nodded. "He has some weird taste of clothes, but it looks good on you at least." She floated around her examining the clothes. "That cools pretty cheap too, don't you think you need something more durable than that?"
"But it's stylish don't you think so?" She looked at her outfit Callie and Yumi nodded in agreement, "So that means I'm going to buy it." Looking
Velo keeps walking, seeing multiple pokemon having fun and talking to each other. Some are looking at him, maybe feeling sympathy. He sighed as he kept walking forward, "This is stupid." Mumbling to himself.
He looked down an alleyway and walked down it for a shortcut. Knowing that he's being followed, he rolled his eyes knowing that there's a dead end to the left. Walking towards that direction. Seeing the dead-end and turning around and sitting on his hind legs. As he bit one of his cards as a mask, a completely different one; with a blue electricity symbol on the left eye, appeared in thin air falling and landing on his face. Getting more cards from his satchel throwing cards on the walls, as they went invisible.
"I'm waiting." He said as his voice is a bit muffled. Behind the corner were four pokemon, a Mightyena, Beartic, Ninetales, and a Glaceon. He sighed at the fact that there's another eeveelution. However it was strange, the Glaceon looked to be royalty of some sort. Velo thought that the other pokemon besides the Glaceon are its bodyguards. "So what do you want?"
As the Mightyena, Beartic, and the Ninetales went into a battle stance. "We just want your equipment." The Glaceon sounded feminine, expected based on the appearance.
"Aren't you royalty?" He asked.
"I am, what's it to you?" Glaceon didn't seem to be in the mood of talking. As she seemed to be ticked off too.
He seemed to be angry but sighed, "Nothing, it's just a bit strange why a royalty is on the streets filled with peasants, perhaps that you're a peasant?" Velo mocked her.
As she seemed to be angrier. "Attack him!" As the cards that were placed before Velo placed started to create an electricity wall. "What the-?!"
"This is like cliche bandit stuff you'd see in those adventures." As he shrugged, the three pokemon fainted. "Wow, you picked weak pokemon to assist you. Some royalty you are."
The Glaceon tried to run away as electricity walls appeared at the exit. "No…"
"That ended so quickly and so fast and that's all you have to offer?" He sighed as he got up from his seat and walked toward her.
"Leave me alone!" She yelled out, but no one could hear.
"Excuse me? 'Leave me alone!'" As he mocked her, laughing. "You targeted me, tell me why." As his eye holes produced a red light
"I targeted you because my father made me angry and I wanted to let off some steam! Please don't hurt me!" As her ears went down, her dress was a little dirty.
"Wow, am I really that imitating?" As he whispered to himself, scratching his chin. "This is too crazy just for a day, all I want to do is go shopping for materials then I meet a Hero then this happens." He sighed, walked past, having their eyes contacting each other. "Don't ever target me again." He removed his mask from his face, changing it into a card, and placed it into his satchel. Having the Glaceon see his face.
She froze in her spot seeing his face. "I'm sorry!" She said as she got up bowing down at him, seeing her legs shaking.
He sighed and walked up to her, being a bit taller, he patted her head. "Just don't be stupid against people who look weak." When she looked like to about to cry. "I uh- Don't apologize, you just didn't know any better." As he sweated a bit, he tried putting up a smile.
"Okay…" She looked at him seeing his face made her face bright red looking away.
"This is stupid." He whispered to himself. "So uh… I'm just going to go, your friends." He looked at their bodies seemingly that they'd fainted. "It's not my problem." He walked away from the Glaceon. Exiting the alleyway and heading in the right direction to his home he sighed, "She looked like that she's sixteen. For Arceus sake, I'm twenty-four." Looking behind it doesn't seem like he was being followed. "I'm getting the hell out of here." Leaving his cards behind.
Velo ran as his electricity started to produce as he ran out of town into the forest, producing strong winds in town. He stopped in the middle of the forest as he could see his house or log cabin. Sighing and looking behind not being able to see the town. "I should probably get ready for tomorrow and prepare a completely new outfit. Sadly, I can't use the power of Yvetal and Giratina, I can't even use my weapons either, I need to make a completely new one too. Not only that I have to make a completely new identity and backstory." He facepalmed and sighed, "I really need to get back home quickly and start working." Velo kept mumbling to himself.
Running quickly back home, he dropped his satchel to his couch and walked into the room with the crystal. Turning on the light in the room. Seeing his weapons, masks, outfits, and cards. Looking around the room he looked for his artisan's cards. Finding them and walking outside. As he threw one of the cards, dropping a blacksmith artisan equipment. Now throwing three cards, with a table, sewing, and knitting kit. Walking back inside he grabs a new blueprint and starts drawing a new weapon.
Starting off with one edged longsword and starts to draw some modifications with it taking only a few minutes. "This should do it of course I can't do any testing so I'll hope for the best." As he got up leaving the blueprint outside on the table, getting back inside into the room with the crystal, Velo looks for a few iron bars and two rocks that look like a water stone and a thunderstone but seemed to be slightly different than any other stone. "Alright… Let's get started." As he walked outside and started to melt the iron bars.
During that time, Juno was buying the clothes and changed into them as she placed her old clothing into the bag that she was given by the cashier. "So where are Eli and Zeal?" As they walked out of the store.
"They should probably at Shao's Rest." Callie pointed in which direction of where it's at. "We should probably get there quickly before they get their drinks."
"Yeah, I agree." Yumi started to float towards the 'cafe'. As Callie followed behind and Juno doing the same. "How did you even meet that Jolteon?" Continuing to float towards the cafe, turning around facing Juno.
"His name is Velo." Juno corrected her, "I met him when he was at the entrance of the forest that is nearby."
"Silent Forest?" Yumi questioned her.
"Yeah, that forest," Juno's head moved to the side to see how close the cafe was. "I don't know why he goes in there or wants to go in there."
"Maybe he lives there?" Yumi turned around to look forward.
Juno rethought what she meant. "There's no way if he lives in there it would take an hour to get here." She rolled her eyes.
"Well you can't say for sure, he's a Jolteon, he could get into town in 30 minutes or less." Yumi scratched her head and thought about it.
Callie caught up to Yumi as Juno was a bit far back. "He could get hereunder 30 minutes." As Callie put her hoodie up.
"How?" As both Juno and Yumi asked.
"Well, you can tell he was a fighter based on his body shape. He probably runs here every day like a morning jog." Not knowing that she's right.
"Maybe…" Yumi looked up seeing the wooden board reading 'Shao's Rest'. "We're here!" As she shouted out, seeing through the glass Eli and Zeal. As she opened the door. "Hi, guys!" As she floated towards them.
"Hello Yumi, Callie." As Zeal looks behind them seeing Juno. "Oh, Juno I didn't see you."
"Of course you wouldn't." She sighed as she waved at Eli as he did the same.
"So, what you took their word and decided to take a break?" Zeal questioned Juno.
She nodded as Yumi and Callie went up to order. "What can I get you both?" Lin asks.
"Give me a Persim shake," Yumi said.
"I'll have a Cheri smoothie," Callie says then looks at Juno. "Are you going to order anything?"
"Oh yeah sure." She walked up to the counter looking at the menu. "Can I have a Lum smoothie but have a bit more ice and put less sugar."
Lin nods at all three of them, "That'll be 6 silver coins and 3 copper. Are you paying separately or all together?"
"All together," Juno said, as Lin nods at them.
"Juno you don't need to pay for us," Callie said while looking at Lin making the drinks, Yumi nods in agreement.
"My treat, it'd be nice to hang out with you guys for once without working." Juno smiled at them looking over the counter.
As Lin finishes the drinks, Juno drops the coins off on the counter having Lin pick them up. Letting the girls pick up their drinks and taking a sip. "Pretty good as always." Yumi smiled.
"No need to compliment me, it's just what I do." Lin looks at Juno, "Hey you're the Internal Life aren't you?" Juno looks at him and nods. "Oh cool, it's pretty impressive of what you are doing out there, keep up the good work." Lin walks away with the coins and puts them into a jar.
"Thank you," As she took a sip from the drink. "So what are we doing now?"
Callie and Yumi shrugged. "We can do a little bit of sparring before the tournament starts tomorrow." Zeal suggested as Yumi punched his arm. "What was that for?"
"We are here to hang out, remember?" She spun around him as her face was puffed up.
"It was just a suggestion. But if we can't do that then what are we exactly supposed to do?" As he crossed his arms.
Yumi stopped right in front of him, "We could go to the mall that's nearby, I heard that they're having a show there in about an hour or two."
"Do you know what it's about?" Eli asked.
"I'm pretty sure it's about theories, like testing chemicals, taste tests, and maybe about criminals too I think," Yumi said, opening the door as the others walked outside. "I mean it would probably be boring. It might have comedy too which is possible that it's even worse." She shrugged.
As the others nodded in agreement till they looked at Juno. "Don't tell us that you're interested in going," Eli said looking at her suspiciously.
"Of course I'm interested in going there. I really wonder if they have anything about Silent."
"You still call him Silent? Even after four years?" Yumi said.
"Of course, it's like calling him my rival, even though he killed many pokemon before." She frowned and looked away, "But I haven't told you guys this before he disappeared for good. Even after four years." She sighed, thinking that she should start investigating what he meant.
"What?" As they all said at the same time, shocked.
"What did he tell you?" Zeal said, still a bit shocked.
She sighed and decided to tell the truth, "Remember when he killed three royalty families except for the children? Then started to kill certain guild members from specific guilds?" She said.
"Yeah? What about it?" Yumi said as Zeal, Callie, and Eli were thinking about it.
"I'll tell you but first let's walk to the mall, it might bring us more answers." As the others nod in agreement as Yumi led the way. "As I said earlier, he said something about there was good and evil on both sides, there could be no light if there is no dark. What he said to me is what I remember." She scratched her head with her ribbons. "Not just that, think about it he was a criminal for two years and got to the ranks being wanted quickly in only a month. Don't you think that's a bit suspicious?"
"You're right…" Zeal stopped in his footsteps and thought about it. "Why did he suddenly 'retire'?"
"I actually know why he did. Well, I think…" Juno walked past Zeal catching up to the group, as the others were listening.
"Wait, you do?" Yumi turned around, stopping where she was. As Callie walks past Yumi as Zeal continues to walk.
"Yeah… He actually told me about it when I lost…" She frowned and was a bit angry that she still lost four years ago.
"What did he say?" Yumi floated backward towards Callie.
"Hard to explain, but not really. He said something about a power I had, but he was disappointed. On how I lost…" Remembering the moment on how badly he shamed her, stopping her movement.
"Hey, don't take it too badly, no one could've even beat him." Zeal said walking right beside her and putting a paw on her shoulder.
"Yeah, what Zeal said, there's no way that any of us can defeat him," Callie sounded a bit more cheerful than usual.
"You guys are right." As she put a smile on her face and kept walking as Zeal followed behind. "But yeah, he said something about me having powers and he thought this last battle would've brought it out, but it didn't. At the same time, he didn't say why he was retiring or stop being a criminal."
"You did say that he was going to 'retire' from four years ago." Yumi said as she saw the mall. "We're almost there guys."
"Alright." As everyone said.
"What else did he tell you?" Eli asked.
Juno was thinking what else from four years ago. "Well… He said our powers are identical, but I didn't have powers before? Why did he decide to tell me about it in our last battle?" As they were getting closer and closer.
"Who knows, only he can answer your question." Eli looked around to see if anything interesting happened. Looking forward to seeing a faded yellow dash producing electricity. "Did you guys just see that?" As the others nod. "Let's check it out quickly from where it came from."
Eli ran as the others followed him. "What the hell." Seeing electricity on floors and walls.
"What happened here?" Juno looked at the walls, "Do you know what happened here?" As she asked a random pokemon, which was a Sableye.
"I don't know, but it came from that alleyway. Everyone is scared to check it, heck even I am scared to check it." As the Sableye walked away.
"You guys heard it, let's head that way." The others nodded and ran while Juno was up front first. Still seeing electricity she moved to the left seeing a Glaceon on the floor fainted.
Yumi spoke up, "Is that the princess of Luminous?" As her and Callie ran towards the Glaceon.
"Do you mean the castle that's in this town?" Eli said running towards the other three pokemon on the floor.
"Yeah that one." Yumi checked her pulse, "She's still alive thankfully, What about you Juno?" She looked at her seeing her face in fear. "What's wrong?"
"The cards…" As Yumi looked at the wall.
"What about them?" As she was confused when Zeal was investigating what happened.
Zeal grabbed one of the cards examining it as every single card disappeared. "What the hell?"
"The cards… Are from Silent…" Juno said quietly as she sat down in fear.
"From what?" Callie walked over to Juno as she repeated her words again. "Wait, it's from Silent Lightning?!" She yelled out loud in shock.
From hearing this the others were speechless. "I-I know you all saw his other weapons, like his scythe and swords. But these cards are used by him and him only…"
"Do you know what the cards do?" Zeal asked, trying to keep his composure.
Juno nodded, "T-The cards trap and absorb magic, pokemon moves, weapons and even other pokemon… I-It's hard to explain what they do but, once he throws the cards out it brings out the item on it. You can tell what item it is based on the image on the card." She gulped and snapped out of her fear. "But in our last battle, he had multiple legendary weapons."
"Wait, legendary weapons? They actually exist?" Yumi asked as she floated towards the other pokemon and checked their pulses. "They are alive too, thankfully."
"Yeah… He had the sword of shards, shield of elements, musketeers' bulletstorm and scythe of Yveltal. I saw his other cards that he didn't use, more legendary weapons. Like the handle of choice, but it wasn't just weapons, there was also legendary equipment."
Everyone was shocked from hearing this. "Why didn't you tell us before?" Yumi asked her.
"Because when he meant to retire I took it that he meant it seriously, I didn't think this would happen…" As she was thinking that it was her fault. "I'm sorry…"
Callie patted her back, "It's not your fault, you just didn't know to tell us." As she looked at the others. "How is the princess?"
"Like I said, she's alive but the real question is why is the Silent Lightning here? And why didn't he kill any of these pokemon?" Yumi repeated herself as she questioned why Silent didn't kill them.
"W-Wait…" Juno stuttered in her words, "He said he was going to retirement, doesn't that mean he has stopped fighting?"
"Maybe, If Silent didn't attack anyone in these four years then he was probably attacked by the Princess and her 'bodyguards'." Callie took a guess without knowing shes right again.
"But if she did attack him why would she do so? He must've looked like a civilian like everyone else." Yumi questioned.
Everyone shrugged as Juno got up, "Well let's make this clear, we obviously know that Silent is a Jolteon, but how many Jolteon's are living in this town?"
"Not many from what I know from, besides why is the Princess here? Isn't the kingdom pretty far from here?" Zeal scratched his chin as he got up and saw the sparks slowly fade away.
"No I'm sure her kingdom is this kingdom nearby, where the tournament is." Yumi floated away from the princess.
"Which princess is that one anyway? The oldest?" Eli tried carrying the Beartic but pulling on his shirt but gave up quickly.
Juno trying to remember which one as Yumi spoke up, "I'm pretty sure she's the second oldest, at eight-teen?"
"What was her name?" Eli asked.
"I don't know if I remember, I think it starts with a S?" Yumi said as Zeal was walking away from the scene. "Where are you going?"
"I'm going to try to see where Silent went, maybe there's a few clues left behind from him." As he ran off.
Yumi looked at the others, "So what do we do about the Princess and her bodyguards?" As the others shrugged. "How about Callie, you go try to contact the King and tell him what happened here." As she nodded and ran off.
"Eli and Juno you stay here, I'll go follow Zeal and see if I can help him find out where he went." As they both nodded and Yumi flew away.
A moment of silence has happened as they both looked at each other. "So… How are you doing?" Eli asked.
"I'm doing fine, how about you?" As she kept her facial expression the same.
"I'm doing fine," Silence happened again as he asked, "So are you going to participate in the tournament again?"
"Oh yeah, I'm definitely going, I kinda just wanna give away the money for charity." As she wanted to help out others. "What about you? Are you going to participate too?" Eli nodded and got up, stretching.
Juno sighing as she looked at the Glaceon. Looking at her 'elegant' appearance. Silence happened again between the both of them, the Glaceon slowly woke up. "What happened…?" She groaned, putting one paw up on her head. Looking up seeing a Umbreon and a Sylveon.
Juno ran over to her, "Are you okay?" As she nodded."What's your name?"
"M-My name is Sapphire, second in line to the Luminous family bloodline." As she got up, taking a moment to remember what happened. "Where's the Jolteon?"
As Eli and Juno were taken in by this. "Jolteon? Do you know what his name was?" Eli asked, walking up to her.
"N-No… He just ran off after beating us, he had a look of mercy. Kind eyes.." As Sapphire started to daydream.
"Wait so you know what he looked like?" Juno asked.
Sapphire scratched her head, "No not really, I just remember that he was really handsome, he had a white mask with a blue thunderbolt across the mask. He took off his mask but I couldn't really get his features, all I can say is that he looked like a normal Jolteon."
"A normal Jolteon? Do you know how many Jolteon live around here?" Eli was even more curious of what happened here.
"I don't know… From what I know about eight Jolteon living here, there could be more…" Sapphire started to daydream about him.
"What time is it even?" Juno looked at Eli, as he shrugged. The other three pokemon woke up, "We should probably get you to the kingdom."
"Nono, it's fine I can get there with my knights. Thank you anyway, umm…" As Sapphire got her composure up. "What was your name?"
"It's Juno and that's Eli." Pointing at the Umbreon with her ribbons.
"Oh! You're Darklight and Internal life!" As she bowed down, "I'm sorry for my disrespect."
Juno reassured her, "No, you don't need to do that. You're royalty, we're just simple pokemon." As she bowed down.
Sapphire giggled as Juno got her composure and giggled with her, "What's so funny here?" Eli was confused about the situation.
"Oh it's nothing." As they both said it at the same time.
"Princess Sapphire, I think it is best to go back to Kingdom Trinity." As the Beartic walked escorting Sapphire.
"Ah, my apologies we will have to end our talk here, I hope we get to talk some other time." Trying to be elegant, she waved goodbye to Eli and Juno.
"What just happened?" Eli was confused about what happened the entire time.
"Don't ask me, It was nice to meet a Princess don't you think?" As she bumped her shoulder on his. He just shrugged, "Let's just go find the others alright?" Trying to stop the silence between both of them.
Nodding they both ran the same direction that Zeal and Yumi went, finding them quickly. "Did she wake up?" Yumi asked, having them to both nod, "I'd be guessing the bodyguards also woke up too correct?" They both nodded again.
"What did you guys find?" Eli looked at what they're looking at and examined some leftover sparks.
"Well, what we can say for sure is that he was only trying to leave town, it looked like he didn't want to come back." Zeal took a hard guess on it.
"Really?" Eli questioned his guess as Zeal nodded. "So should we ignore that this ever happened or should we take this as a clue to what Juno said about what Silent Lightning said to her?"
"We will take this as a clue, from what we also had for a conclusion is that Silent really didn't want to hurt anyone, he just wanted to leave which is hard to believe." Yumi answered his question. Seeing that Callie wasn't too far walking towards them. "Did you contact the Kingdom?" Callie shakes her head no, "Why didn't you?"
"Because I saw the Princess walking with her bodyguards, it looked like they were going home so I went along and looked for you guys." She shrugged. Looking at the sky, seeing that it was getting dark. "Well, I should be getting home. I wanna rest enough for the tournament. I'll see you guys there." As she waved them off and walked off.
"I agree, I'm going to go train back at my house then head off to sleep." Zeal walked off.
Yumi was being looked at by Eli and Juno, "I guess it's my turn to leave?" As she giggled, "Well I'll see you guys at the tournament." As she flew away.
Eli and Juno looked at each other, "I'll see you there?" Juno put a paw up as a 'pawshake', Eli nodded and gave her the pawshake. As he walked off, "Well, it's just me now…" Walking back home.
However… Velo has been working on his new 'design' and finished his weapon and his mask. As he looked at it he tested quickly as it changed weapons from a sword then extending it into a spear, then into a scythe. He didn't need armor, instead he made a new mask having an aura like blue and yellow on Mask had a Black and Blue coloring on it as there was gray thunder clouds in the middle. Velo examined his newly made weapon and mask, putting away his Artisan equipment back into cards. "I'll call you.. Legendary weapon: Tsunami." Then looking at the mask. "Then I'll call you, Legendary item: Mask of Kyogre and Zekrom."
Picking up the cards, looking at his hard work. Velo walked back inside smirking, "With this equipment, my Hero name will be 'Storm'."
That's a wrap everybody! I don't know what to say to be honest, but I'll say this that there's a few easter eggs in this chapter. I'll give a hint of what it is, the weapons. That's the only hit ya'll gonna get.
But yeah, I'm gonna go get some sleep since it just hit 1 AM. I'll see you all in the next chapter!
