The following day Sesshomaru sat in the conference room trying to distract himself with the many scrolls that piled upon the table requiring his attention. It was already mid day and still Inuyasha and kagome hadn't arrived. Shirley Jaken would know to bring them straight to him upon their arrival. Ensure enough just as he was beginning to think the imp got distracted the doors to his conference room opened to reveal his half brother and sister-in-law at last.

"you called for us sesshomaru?." Inuyasha addressed his brother dryly

"I called for you to be here by day brake, but you always were a little on the slow side " sesshomaru snipped

Inuyasha was about to reply to his ass of a brother when kagome pushed past him with a hand to his shoulder to greet her brother-in-law before their bickering Wasn't able to be stopped.

"oh for Pete's sake don't you both start.. Your call said it was urgent. Has Rin taken a turn for the worst? "Kagome asked sesshomaru with worries filling her face.

" A turn …that's one way to put it… she turns in to a fire breathing dragon. Taking her rage out on all around her until she burns her self out, Flooding her rage with her own river of tears. It's one of the most terrifying things I have ever set eyes on.. every little thing sets her off and I pity any who would befall her fit as it normally leads to violence" Jaken blurted out In his overdramatic manner. Leaving Inuyasha and kagome with puzzled blinks at sesshomaru

"Pay no mind to Jaken… he doesn't speak literal.. however her mood swings have been quite concerning. it may be wise not to tell anyone I summoned you both to arrive before schedule.. Especially Rin."

"don't tell me you're afraid of your own wife.. so you called us here early because you didn't have the emotional capacity to deal with her mood swings?' Inuyasha eyed his brother watching as he seemed to flinch uncomfortably

"thought it wise to call for kagome when her mood swings started taking a more violent nature.

Thought maybe there was something she could do to sooth her until the pups come. . a sedative maybe?"

"a sedative? Oh it can't be that bad Sesshomaru.. all women turn into raging demonesses right before they give birth. It's completely natural. You should just be grateful she wasn't like that from the start"

" And exactly what is that supposed to mean Inuyasha?" Kagome gave her husband a death glare as a warning to take his foot out of his mouth that he seemed to not even notice.

"all I'm saying is that some women become royal bitches for their whole pregnancy at least with Rin he only has to put up with it at the end" Inuyasha crossed his arms in a huff as he spoke.

" Inuyasha ….. Sit Boy!!!" Kagome barked causing Inuyasha to face plant hard into the floor.

"See what I mean.." Inuyasha shouted

"SIT BOY ……Sit ! …Sit! …Sit!.. Sit! Sit! Sit.. SIT"

Inuyasha repeatedly slammed into the floor trying to call Kagome off.. "Kagome… I'm sorry … will you…. Give it … a rest .. already… damn"

" so it seems my senses didn't betray me…. Sister you are with child." Sesshomaru spoke more of a matter of fact then as of a question. smiling at his sister-in-law. Whether he was smiling from the realization or from watching his brother repeatedly bounce off the wood of the conference room floor no one was certain.

" well yes .. but I'm only three months along . Unlike Rin I fear I have to withstand a 9 month pregnancy.. but the only one complaining is Inuyasha"

Getting to his feet and brushing himself off Inuyasha grunted "I am not complaining,you just think I am"

"ohh so not only am I a bitch but now your calling me crazy!?!"

" What…. I … I did no such thing … sesshomaru help me out here" Inuyasha backed away from his wife. The vein in her forehead looks like it was going to burst only meaning Inuyasha Was going to be kissing the floor in a moments time

" Sister … Rin should be in the dining hall eating lunch about now, why don't you join her? May be best to give you girls some one on one time. Jaken will show you the way"

"lunch actually sounds quite good about now. You two try not to kill each other Ok?" Kagome leaned in to kiss Inuyasha's cheek before she left, catching him off guard and causing him to Stiffen.

She seemed not to notice this as she followed Jaken out of the room.

Once sesshomaru was certain she was out of ear shot range he turned to his brother mocking his earlier statement with a playful half smirk "Tell me Inuyasha, your not afraid of your wife are you?"

Huff. Inuyasha sat down in the chair next to his brother.hanging his head over the back of the chair looking off at the ceiling. "Say Sesshomaru… you don't think it's going to backfire on us, putting those two together all day. do you?"

Sesshomaru dropped the scroll he was attempting to read.. As visions flashed in his head of the two pregnant human women, cornering him and Inuyasha In a vicious double team attack. Sesshomaru blinked clearing his mind and catchIng Inuyasha's gaze "Maybe I should fetch Bakusaiga…. "

Inuyasha shook his head up and down vigorously "Mmm hmm"

Kagome and Rin sat side-by-side next to the empty head of table. They were partly hoping the boys would find their way to the dining hall to join them. However they were having too much fun gossiping about things they could not talk about with their other half's around they felt like they were talking forever. They may have only gone three months without seeing each other this time but they were still a lot to catch up on.

"You have got to be kidding me. . . He really thinks that?" Kagome looked at her friend with shock picking at the plate of fruit before her.

"Yep. He thinks that one way or the other he's going to hurt the pups.so he wants us to wait till after the birth. With how gentle he has been during ,I don't see how that would even be possible" Rin picked at her own plate that consisted of mixed fruit and shredded rabbit.

"Sesshomaru… gentle ? Really?... I thought he would be a dominant force in the bedroom… all though I did hear a saying once that said that, strong dominant men in day to day life take a more submissive role in the bedroom" kagome paused as she got a visual of sesshomaru in a French maids outfit.. and as if Rin could read her mind the two girls shared look turned in to a fit of laughter.

"I assure you priestess kagome your theory couldn't be the farthest from the truth when it comes to Daiyokai Men. … however Iv never had any pleasure from a hanyo Daiyokai Maybe you can enlighten me in the ways they differ."

Lady Inukimi." Kagome was attempting to stand from her seat when she was waved down by the elegant lady Daiyokai.

"No need for such formality priestess we after all are family in some manner or the other. And it is just us women here after all" Inukimi took her seat opposite Rin. A cup of tea placed before her.

"The hanyo must have some measurable endowments for you to withstand his submission."

kagome was at a loss of words looked for help from Rin but it seemed her friend must be used to these conversations with her mother in-law as she didn't seem the slightest bit phased by Inukimi's inquiry.

" I mean he is very satisfying. . . There are just times where I don't think he knows Just what to do. Sometimes he fumbles. Things around us get broken. But more than that it always ends well. You know what I mean?"

" can't say that I do" inukimi and Rin Spoke in unison thinking of their own endeavors. Smirking at each other for the shared words.

" sesshomaru never had a off night? I mean when you two were on a regular schedule that is"

Rin shook her head No at kagome, memories filling her mind of just how skilled her husband was.

Inukimi Had grate pride for her son in all his abilities but kagome's words didn't go Unmissed.

" I thought these walls had been awfully quiet the last few weeks. Daughter, don't tell me My son has been having troubles rising to the occasion. Oh how shameful"

" I believe he is able just unwilling Mother. He tells me our mating may well somehow put the pups in harms way... How ever think it is my overbearing size that has put him in such unease. I don't even feel like myself anymore. I know I don't look like me. "

Inukimi could sense the overwhelming sadness taking over her radiant daughter-in-law. How she wished she could somehow show Rin just how beautiful she was baby bump and all. Maybe the child just needed some rejuvenation to bring back the inner glow she normally carried.

"Why don't the two of you indulge me for the evening? I don't think we have been to the spa wing since your marital ceremony preparations. And my claws are well past due for a file and paint. What say you Priestess? Daughter?"

" you have a Spa WING here?" Kagome's face showed how appealing the idea was.

Rin nodded and started to wright something on a piece of parchment.

" Master Jaken" Rin called. instantaneously the small green demon ran into the room to her side.

" see that Lord Sesshomaru gets this. And you can ensure him that Kagome is well cared for and will not be needing your assistance for the remainder of the evening."

"Yes my lady. I'll bring this to him right away. Right away my lady .. " Jaken left the room all to eager to put distance between himself and Rin for his own safety.

"Odd the little demon looks more blue then green. Sesshomaru really should stop taking his frustrations out on his servant. I thought I taught him better then to throw rocks at things smaller then him."

Inukimi finished her tea not putting a second thought to the imp.

Inukimi may have been the only one safe from the mood swings of the overly pregnant Rin. She had yet to see it for her own eyes so she merely brushed it off as normal pregnancy hormones when the whispers caught her ears of the moody lady of the west.

How Sesshomaru got any work done with Inuyasha poking around his office he would never know. His half brother refused to stay still and silent. Every other moment he was looking at something new. Asking endless questions about nonsense. But through it all Sesshomaru kept his temper under control

As Inuyasha's yammering was easier to work around then having things pelted at him from his emotional wife. At last the last order of business was done. Every scroll was signed, sealed and neatly stacked.

Inuyasha had snooped his way to the back wall of Sesshomaru's office looking over the many very old looking bottles that sat on display on there own personal wall caverns there must have been over 100.

"Say Sesshomaru… why do you need this much sake in your office? I never pegged you for that much of a drinker. Iv never even herd of any of these. Some of these bottles look creepy"

"demon sake most of them. Given as gifts from one manner of business or the other. A lot are from back when this was fathers office. He started to display them as a way to honor the gifts. I guess I just fallowed suit."

"Wouldn't honoring the gifts involve actually drinking them."

"I do when the situation calls for such a bottle.I believe we opened a few during the reception. Demon sake you will find has more of a kick then what you can get at any human village. I'm also not one to drink alone. "

"wooow what are these? " Inuyasha looked at the display of small daggers. Many different sets all different styles laid upon a velvet table incasement. His eyes twinkled at the sight of the many shimmering blades.

"Throwing blades, shurikens, Kunai..also gifts." Sesshomaru responded dryly

"Ever use them?"

"I used to throw them at a wall for sport until I moved on to moving targets"

Inuyasha couldn't tell if Sesshomaru was joking or not. Knowing his sadistic brother he probably threw them at Jaken for entertainment.

And just as if thinking of the green demon summoned him out of thin air. Jaken creeped in past the door staff in hand walking timidly to where Sesshomaru sat. Handing his Master a torn parchment.

" My lord Sesshomaru. The Fair lady wished me to bring this to you. She says to tell you she will look after priestess kagome for the remainder of the night."

Sesshomaru looked over the note from his wife. Taking in the horror of what the words on the parchment meant. Standing from his seat lord Sesshomaru walked to the back wall pulling a large bottle sake and two cups. Returning to the table he filled both glasses gesturing for Inuyasha to be seated with him.

"Sesshomaru what the hell was written on that thing?. You look like you just seen a apparition."

Sesshomaru Passed the note to Inuyasha as he stared off blankly sipping his sake.

"What the hell is a 'girls night'? What's so bad about them spending the night with your mother? Wouldn't that only keep them from attacking us for the night?" Inuyasha eyed his brother who if possible looked more pale then normal. He was already refilling his cup.

"translation little brother… they are going to spend the night bad mouthing us to each other until they work them selfs up in to a frenzy. . My mother will only fuel the fire then unleash them upon us"

Inuyasha tensed in fear. Taking the cup offered to him. He drank it down in one swig before pushing it over to Sesshomaru to refill. plopping him self in the chair beside his brother Inuyasha started banging his head upon the table. "Why…, why would your mother do that to us?

Sesshomaru refilling both glasses with a huff "entertainment..she's evil don't you know"

Inuyasha took his sake cup drinking it down with one gulp again. taking the bottle from Sesshomaru he refilled both their glasses noticing the bottle was already almost empty. " what do you think they talk about at these 'Girls nights'?"

"Everything… nothing is sacred when women band together in there care rituals" Sesshomaru snapped his Fingers and pointed at Jaken to bring him another bottle from the wall.

"Everything?! As in everything, everything…? Like do you think they compare umm intimate notes" Inuyasha's mind filled with all the things the girls could be discussing. All the ways they could compare him to his full demon brother. He looked over at Sesshomaru who was shaking his head yes handing Inuyasha back his now full cup that was emptied as fast as it was given to him.

"Say Sesshomaru..? Do you have bigger cups?"
