A/N: FINALLY! After three months of waiting and writers block, I've completed chapter three. In this chapter, we see Kim and Ron exploring Killigan's old lair on Scottish Islands. Will they find anything interesting? And what of Gemini? Read on to find out!

Chapter 3: Gemini's Confession
As Kim and Ron suspected, Killigans lair was a big mess like Dementors had been. His home was a large castle in the middle of Scottish Islands unlike Dementors lair which was stationed in a cave. The front doors of Killigans house had been smashed down to the entrance way floor and the entire place had been raided and ransacked like Dementors lair had been. The only difference was that someone had also burned a bunch of papers and a few CPU towers inside Duff's large fireplace. It was clear that whoever had done this was trying to cover something up.
"Looks like our guesses were right, KP," Ron pointed out. "Someone raided this place as well. Something important had to have been here that someone didn't want anyone to see".
"I don't think we'll find anything useful here, not in this mess" Kim replied, glancing around at the mess in the large living room.
"I doubt there are any flash drives here like the one Rufus found at Dementor's place, and those CPU's certainly aren't in any working condition" Ron glanced at the burned CPU towers in the fireplace, disappointed.
"We should still search the place in case there's something valuable here" Kim suggested.
"I doubt there is, but okay" Ron agreed.
The two of them searched the entire castle for anything useful, but came up empty handed. Many of Duff's golf clubs lay strewn about on the floor of his bedroom and like the other rooms, it had been ransacked. A small safe containing various explosive golf ball bombs had been forced open, causing the bombs to be scattered about. The two heroes took care not to kick any of them without risk of setting them off.
"Man…. just who do you think did all this, KP? This is just crazy" Ron exclaimed at the enormous mess all over the mansion.
"No idea, but I have a feeling Gemini may know something about it. Once Dr. Director brings him in, she should be able to get him to speak" Kim replied.
"Hopefully, he'll be more open to her than us since they're family and all," Ron said. "This whole situation is giving me bad vibes".
"Let's not worry about that now. We should continue searching this mansion for anything valuable" Kim replied.
It took almost an hour for the two of them to search the entire mansion, and as Kim had guessed, they found nothing of value. Rufus hadn't been as lucky as before either. He had hoped to find more flash drives like before, but wasn't successful.
"Nothing…" Ron said in disappointment.
"Figured as much," Kim replied. "This place is a complete wreck".
Before Ron could respond, Kim's Kimmunicator went off. She answered it to find Dr. Director on screen.
"Hey Dr. D! What's the sitch?" Kim asked.
"Me and my team just took Gemini into custody. He put up a bit of a fight, but I convinced him to surrender. We got him down at Global Justice HQ as we speak," Dr. Director explained. "Did you find anything of value in Duff's lair?".
"No, it was completely trashed. There were a few CPU towers in here, but someone burned them in the fireplace" Kim reported.
"I figured as much," Dr. Director replied. "Report back to Global Justice HQ. I'll need you both here for Gemini's interrogation".
"Got it, me and Ron will get there ASAP" Kim replied, then signed off.
"You think Gemini will cooperate?" Ron wondered.
"Dr. Director might have to press him for the answers we need, but hopefully, she might be able to convince him to come clean on whatever he's hiding from us" Kim replied.
"I hope that's the case. If Gemini knows something about Duff and Dementors deaths, we need to know about it. This is a very serious situation" Ron said.
"Yes, it is," Kim replied. "I hope Gemini won't be as difficult there as he was when being brought in".
The two heroes left the mansion, wondering just what secrets Gemini could possibly be hiding. Ron was still tense as he thought about what the leader of WEE would reveal, that is, if he even decided to speak. His mind still dwelled on those terrifying visions of his from the other night, no matter how much Ron tried to assure himself that they were only nightmares. But Sensei's warning stuck with him the most, and this was the main cause of Ron's constant unrest.
"Get ahold of yourself," Ron thought. "Don't focus on that right now. You're a master of Mystical Monkey Powers. You took out two alien warlords. If you could handle that, you can handle anything".
"At least we still have the flash drive Rufus found," Kim said. "So I guess we're not at a complete loss".
"You got a point there, KP. Hopefully, Wade will be able to provide us with some answers later on once he checks out all the files on there" Ron replied as the two of them got into Kim's Coupe, which had been switched to boat mode to cross the sea.
As they sped through the sea, Ron continued reflecting on Sensei's warning the whole way. He didn't know why this continued to bother him, but every fiber of his being was telling him that all of this seemed very off. Maybe it was his mystical monkey powers trying to tell him that something bad was going to happen at some point in the future, but Ron couldn't be sure. The main issue that really bothered Ron was the possibility of losing Kim. Sensei didn't clarify exactly what dangers he and Kim would face, but Ron often feared that Kim's life might be in danger as well. The part Sensei said about this new threat being more powerful and dangerous than ever really worried Ron, and what made the situation even more frightening was that he had no idea what this threat was, and neither did Kim.
"Just who or what is this threat Sensei mentioned?" Ron thought, frustrated.
He thought about maybe trying to contact Sensei using his mystical monkey powers later on and getting more details about it. There was so much Ron still didn't know since Sensei hadn't clarified what this threat was. He was pretty much in the dark on this one, and this scared Ron. The fear of the unknown was something that scared almost anyone, and this was a well known fact. Ron had no idea what was coming, and he had no idea who or what this threat was. Was it the Lowardians? Another possibly more powerful unknown alien race that planned to invade Earth? Ron couldn't figure it out, nor did he have any clue as to what the answer was. And then there was Rufus's nightmare. He couldn't exactly tell what his nightmare had been since Rufus couldn't give the full details of it, but his mentioning of Kim and everyone else being dead was enough to really scare Ron. Was it a coincidence, or was it possible that somehow, his and Ron's dreams had been connected in some unknown way?
"Just who or what were you referring to, Sensei? I'm at a loss here" Ron thought, becoming more frustrated each minute.
"You alright, Ron? You look worried" Kim asked in concern, noticing Ron's worried expression.
"It's Sensei's vision, KP. Everything he said is worrying the hell out of me, and I can't stop thinking about it," Ron replied. "He gave me so little detail on who or what this threat he mentioned was, and I can't figure out what it is. Rufus's nightmare has been on my mind too. He kept telling me that everyone was dead in his nightmare, including you, but didn't say how. I know that I don't let stuff like nightmares usually bother me this much, but this is completely different. And given the fact that Sensei showed up and basically told me some vision he had about you and me facing some dangerous threat I don't even know about in the future, it's been scaring the hell out of me".
"Maybe he didn't know the exact details of the threat, or couldn't foresee what it was. I did mention that earlier" Kim reminded.
"Yeah, but I can't shake it out of my mind, KP," Ron replied, shaking his head. "And what Rufus told me about his nightmare is leading me to believe that whatever this threat is, it plans to kill you and everyone I love".
"That won't happen, Ron. Like I said, we'll face whatever this threat is together, and we'll defeat it together," Kim assured him. "If we survived the Lowardian invasion, we can survive what this unknown threat is".
"That's what I'm afraid of," Ron replied worriedly. "We don't know what it is, and what if it proves to be too powerful for us".
"We'll worry about that when we find out whatever this threat is, but for now, let's not dwell on those thoughts any longer. Dr. Director is waiting for us back at GJ headquarters, and hopefully, Gemini will be cooperative with us in revealing what he possibly knows about all this" Kim encouraged.
"Yeah, I'll try" Ron said, cheering up a bit.

Dr, Director sat on the opposite side of a metal table inside a small square shaped room. At the other end sat her brother Gemini. His robotic arms had been cuffed with special restraints that would prevent him from escaping with his super strength. Several armed guards stood outside the door of the room ready to respond should things get out of hand.
"Stop playing games with me, Sheldon! This is serious! If you know something about what happened with Duff Killigan and Dementor last night, I need to know!" Dr. Director snapped impatiently.
"You know I can't do that, Betty. I've told you twice about how dangerous it would be if I revealed to you who it was that Duff and Dementor were working for" Gemini replied coldly.
"How would my life be in danger if you told me?! You know I can handle myself. Now either you tell me, or I just may get physical" Dr. Director shot back aggressively.
"Really? That sounds a bit harsh there, sis" Gemini replied snidely.
"Don't push me, Sheldon. I'm not fooling around here," Dr. Director snapped in a serious tone. "Either you tell me what you know, or you'll see just how serious I am".
"I'm doing this for your own good, Betty. I don't want you to-" Gemini was cut off when Betty struck him across the face.
"Perhaps I didn't make myself clear, Sheldon! I want answers, and I want them now" Dr. Director demanded.
"I'm not saying anything! It's for your own good, Betty," Gemini shot back. "You have no idea how dangerous this person is, or how powerful they are. Trust me when I say that they'll know if I say anything, and they'll do everything in their power to kill you!".
"Who's "they?" Dr. Director demanded.
"I can't say," Gemini replied. "I know you may think I'm staying quiet cause I'm the leader of WEE, but that isn't the case. I'm doing this to protect you, Betty. Despite our rivalry, you're still my sister, and you have no idea what'll happen if I tell you what I know".
"Try me," Betty snapped. "It's not like whoever this person is can hear us. This room is soundproof. You, me, and the guards outside the room are the only ones here".
"He'll still find out," Gemini said. "Trust me when I say that if you find out who he is and try looking into him, he'll know I talked and come after you, then me. He's far more intelligent and powerful than you think".
"How?! Who is "he", and how will he find out?!" Betty yelled, growing angry.
"He'll kill you, Betty. He'll kill you slowly and painfully if I speak" Gemini simply said, now sounding desperate.
"STOP PLAYING GAMES WITH ME! I WANT ANSWERS, AND I WANT THEM NOW!" Dr. Director roared, striking Gemini again.
This time, she struck him hard enough to draw blood. Gemini could see just how serious Betty was just from her expression alone. He knew her well enough to know she wasn't bluffing when she said she'd beat the answers out of him, yet Gemini also knew that Betties life would be at risk if he spoke a word about his employer. Gemini could easily take a beating, but knew that if he didn't start talking, Betty might decide to use a memory probe on him. Memory probes were very useful in scanning a criminal's memory for evidence if they refused to cooperate during interrogation. These were created using a hybrid of Earth and Lowardian technology, and had since then become very helpful in cracking cases that would otherwise go cold under normal circumstances.
"I can take a beating anytime, Betty. I'm not saying a word" Gemini said firmly.
"So that's your final answer? Well then," Betty growled. "Then you leave me no choice but to perform a scan of your memories using our memory probing system. I'm pretty sure you knew I'd do that, didn't you?!".
Gemini knew it hopeless at this point; his guess had been correct. Whether or not he spoke, Betty would find out the truth once his memories were scanned and revealed. The shackles around Gemini's wrists and ankles were also heavily enforced, so there was no way that brute strength would get him out. Gemini knew he was a dead man for doing what he was about to do, but he had no other alternative at this point.
"There's no need for that, Betty," Gemini said in defeat. "I'll tell you what you need to know if you absolutely insist, but under one condition".
"You're in no position to be making demands, Sheldon. You'll tell me now, or I'll have my agents use the memory probe" Betty warned.
"All I ask is that you don't mention this to anyone else, otherwise, you and everyone you care about will be in terrible danger" Gemini practically begged.
"I don't understand how that's possible," Betty replied. "I will certainly be informing Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable about it, but I don't understand why you're so afraid to let the rest of Global Justice know".
"Because Global Justice most likely has spies amongst its ranks. I know this because he told me himself" Gemini said in a quiet voice.
"Who's "he", Sheldon?" Betty asked in a calmer voice.
Gemini looked directly at his sister, then said in a grave voice, "Ridley Farcus".

Kim and Ron arrived at Global Justice HQ with the flash drive from Dementor's lair, wondering if Dr. Director had gotten Gemini to spill his secrets.
"I sure hope Dr. Director got Gemini to speak, otherwise, things are gonna get complicated" Ron hoped as he and Kim began approaching the large building.
"I've been thinking the same thing" Kim replied.
Once the two of them entered the building, they were escorted by two GJ security officers to an interrogation room on the second floor where they found Dr. Director waiting for them, and she looked far more worried than Kim and Ron had ever seen her look before. Ron could sense something else in her expression, and if he wasn't mistaken, it looked like terror.
"Hey Dr. Director, what's going on? You look like you've seen a ghost" Ron asked in concern.
Dr. Director said nothing at first, just staring at the ground as if in deep concentration or thought. It was clear from her expression that something was very wrong, and this made Kim and Ron wonder if Gemini had revealed something so horrible that it left Dr. Director speechless. She finally spoke after a moment of silence.
"You two need to follow me to a secure location, and make sure that you have nothing on you that could possibly trace what I'm about to tell the two of you" she ordered in a very serious tone of voice.
"Uh, okay? Did something bad happen with Gemini?" Kim asked in concern.
"No, he was a bit resistant at first, but then he finally talked after I threatened to use a memory probe on him," Dr. Director replied. "What he told me…. I can't mention it here. You two need to follow me to a secure location so I can tell you what I found out".
"Why the need for such secrecy?" Ron wondered.
"I can't say why right here, it's too dangerous. Just follow me and I'll explain once we get there" Dr. Director replied sternly.
Not wanting to argue, Kim and Ron followed Dr. Director to a nearby elevator. Once they were there, Dr. Director ordered the security guards to stay behind and not follow them. The guards complied as Kim, Ron, and Dr. Director entered the elevator. Once inside, Dr. Director pulled a card key out of her pocket and slid it inside a slot in the floor selection panel. Once she did this, a small panel next to the slot opened up, revealing a hidden elevator button inside. It was unmarked unlike the other ones. When Dr. Director tapped it, the elevator began moving downwards.
"So, is it safe to say anything here? It's just us, plus Rufus" Ron wondered.
"No, the elevator has a security camera with a microphone in it. Please ask no further questions until we arrive at our destination. That's an order, Stoppable" Dr. Director replied firmly.
"Alright, noted" Ron said defensively.
"I take it Gemini-" Kim began, but Dr. Director cut her off.
"I thought I made it clear not to mention the subject or ask any questions until the elevator stops at our destination. Just shut up and do as I say" she snapped rather coldly.
Kim was rather taken aback by Dr. Director's sudden harshness towards her and Ron. She had a feeling that whatever Gemini had told her, it was something really serious. What it was, Kim had no answer to, and neither did Ron. Rufus was also unsure as he stayed hidden in Ron's pocket. After about a minute in silence, the elevator finally stopped and the doors opened, revealing a long hallway leading to a single steel door at the end.
"We're here, follow me" Dr. Director ordered.
Kim and Ron followed her down the hall towards the steel door at the end. Once they reached it, Dr. Director slid another card key into a slot on the side of the door, then the door opened to reveal a small square shaped room with a few chairs inside it along with a metal table in the center. Once they were inside, Dr. Director closed it and locked it, then she ordered Kim and Ron to place their Kimmunicator's inside a small metal safe that she said was soundproof. Still confused, Kim and Ron did as they were ordered and placed their Kimmunicator's inside the safe and closed it.
"Alright, now can you tell us just why you're so freaked out all of a sudden?" Ron asked curiously.
"Ron has a good point" Kim said.
"I know, and I apologize for my sudden rudeness back in the elevator, but it was for all our safety" Dr. Director replied, sitting down in one of the seats at the table.
"Our safety? What do you mean by that?" Ron asked in confusion as he took a seat across from Dr. Director; Kim sat next to Ron.
"What I'm about to tell each of you is not to leave this room. Under no circumstances are you to tell anyone in the outside world about what you're about to hear from me, not your families, friends, and especially the other members of Global Justice; this is a direct order. Your lives and the lives of those you care about could end up in terrible danger if you defy these orders, so you must not say a word" Dr. Director replied in a very firm voice.
Kim and Ron were now worried, and even Rufus seemed unsettled by what he's been listening to from in Ron's pocket.
"Doc, what's going on? What did Gemini tell you?" Kim asked in a worried tone.
Dr. Director sighed, then began speaking.
"The enemy we're dealing with is far more powerful, sinister, and dangerous than I could have ever predicted. From what Gemini told me, he said that he was hired by a crime lord by the name of Ridley Farcus, the leader of a global crime organization called Black Shadow," she began.
"Is this crime organization like WEE?" Ron asked curiously.
"Similar, but far more sinister," Dr. Director continued. "This crime organization is much larger, more powerful, and evil than Gemini's organization. Black Shadow has secret bases stationed around every corner of the globe, but their locations are unknown at this time. Gemini said he wasn't told where these bases were stationed, only that Ridley told him that his organization had bases all over the planet. He's also the one who hired some of Gemini's henchmen to assist him in a heist at the Plutonium Reprocessing Plant in Trombay India the other night. Duff Killigan and Professor Dementor were also hired to lead Gemini's henchmen in the heist".
"Plutonium? Isn't that radioactive metal?" Ron asked.
"Yes," Dr. Director nodded. "Duff, Dementor, and Gemini's henchmen stole about 6.2 Kilograms of Plutonium from the plant last night, then delivered it over to Ridley afterwards. Gemini wasn't told the location where Duff and Dementor delivered the Plutonium to Ridley and his men, but all I know is that they were both killed to ensure their silence".
"No way! That's why they were blown up in that car we saw earlier?" Ron exclaimed in shock.
"Yes, Gemini told me that he was told by Ridley that Duff and Dementor would be quote on quote "disposed of" afterwards to ensure they said nothing afterwards to anyone else in the world about who they were working for. Apparently, Ridley wanted to make sure that no one caught on to whatever it was he was doing" Dr. Director explained.
"Did Gemini figure out what Ridley wanted the Plutonium for?" Kim asked.
"No, but I'm convinced that he's most likely using it to build a nuclear bomb. I can't be certain, but I'm pretty sure that's the case since 6.2 Kilograms of Plutonium is the same amount used in the atomic bombs that were dropped on Japan decades ago" Dr. Director replied.
Kim and Ron felt their blood run cold. An atomic bomb? The thought of a dangerous criminal organization getting their hands on such a powerful, destructive weapon like that terrified them, and even Rufus trembled at the thought of that. "No… you don't think Ridley plans to attack Middleton city, do you?" Kim asked, her voice filled with fear.
"I don't know. If he really IS building one though, we need to figure out what his intended target is and stop him" Dr. Director replied.
"By the way, how will mentioning any of this outside this room put us in danger?" Ron asked.
Dr. Director glanced at Ron with a serious expression.
"I was actually going to get to that now," she replied. "And it is very serious that you listen carefully. Gemini told me that the Black Shadow organization has informers and spies all over the globe. We don't know who they are, nor do we have any information on who they could be. All I know is that Gemini claimed that Ridley told him that some of the Global Justice agents here are informers working for him. I'm hoping that the flash drive you and Kim found will contain info on who they are. Until then, we need to be very careful. If what Gemini said is true, we could end up in terrible danger if we say anything regarding the Black Shadow organization in public".
"Do you know for sure that Gemini's telling the full truth? He is a villain after all. He could be lying just to scare us" Kim implied.
"No, I don't think he is," Dr. Director replied. "I've known Gemini all my life, and I know when he's being serious. We need to be very careful when approaching this. I will research the data on that flashdrive you three found at Dementor's hideout, and hopefully it'll contain something useful we can use. Until then, you and Ron need to be very careful and not say a word about anything I just mentioned in here outside this room. The room we're currently in is a fully secured interrogation room not equipped with security cameras or microphones, so there's no chance that any Black Shadow informers will know what's being said in here. However, as I said, you are not to mention anything regarding the Black Shadow organization outside this room. If you do, then there's a chance that Ridley's informers might catch wind that we're onto him, and that might put Gemini in danger as well".
"Um, just how do you intend to find out more about Ridley and his organization if you won't even let us mention it outside this room?" Ron asked curiously.
"I've already got a plan for that," Dr. Director replied. "Agent Lloyd Florence and his friend Agent Nelson Rivers will be helping me with this one in addition to you and Kim. We can't trust anyone as of now, at least until I've viewed the contents of the flashdrive. From what you and Kim told me earlier over your Kimmunicators, it seems Dementor might have been hiding something rather serious on that flashdrive".
"Do you think the police might have Black Shadow informers among them as well?" Kim asked.
"I don't know, but we'll still need to use extreme caution when dealing with this matter. Gemini has been granted asylum here at the GJ Headquarters, so he'll be safe with us. I'll be keeping an eye on the various agents here as well for any suspicious activity, and I'll also be going over their files and doing background checks on them. If any of it seems odd or suspicious, I'll report them to the higher ups".
"What do you want me and Kim to do about this?" Ron asked.
"For right now, stay alert. If anything comes up regarding the Black Shadow organization, I'll let you two know. Also, I'll be having Agent Florence and Agent Rivers assist you with this case since they're my two best GJ agents, and the most trustworthy. I'll be speaking to them later on and informing them of the situation. Since we know little about Ridley and his organization, there's not much we can do right now until we find out more about him" Dr. Director explained.
"Does Gemini know anything else about the Black Shadow organization?" Kim asked.
"No, he only knows as much as Ridley told him. Gemini wasn't given any details as to where Ridley's hideout is, nor the locations of the other Black Shadow bases," Dr. Director replied. "All he said was that Ridley told him he has spies within Global Justice, and even some of the police in Middleton have Black Shadow informers amongst their ranks. I don't have physical evidence to prove what Gemini said is true, but I know him well enough to know that he wouldn't lie about something this serious. Like I said, Gemini is my brother, and I've known him all my life. I can tell when he's lying, and he certainly wasn't lying about this. Gemini was actually very hesitant and even scared when I pressed him for answers, and he's never acted like that before, so I could tell he was being honest".
Kim and Ron felt more worried than ever. While they found out hard to believe some of the things Gemini said about an evil organization hiding in the shadows and infiltrating Global Justice, the two of them couldn't deny it being a possibility. That vision Ron had also popped back into his mind and he thought that maybe these events might have something to do with it.
"This really worries me. If what Gemini said is true, then we're gonna have to constantly be on the lookout. With Black Shadow informers all over the place, there's no telling what Ridley may learn about us" Kim said fearfully.
"As long as you do as I tell you and stay quiet about everything I just told you and Ron, you should be safe. But yes, you'd best watch your backs out there until we learn more about this new enemy of ours" Dr. Director replied.
"We will. I can promise you that" Kim assured her.
"I'll keep a lookout too. The last thing I want is some criminal organization attacking those we care about" Ron added.
"Good," Dr. Director said, glancing at Ron. "I'll need the flash drive now".
Ron reached into his pocket and pulled the flash drive out, then handed it to Dr. Director.
"Excellent," Dr. Director said as she took the flash drive. "This will help a lot. I'll go over everything on the flashdrive for evidence and notify you two once I come across something important. Until then, I urge you both to head home and rest up, and be careful out there. There's no telling if the Black Shadow might be watching you".
"We'll keep our eyes open. I also have my mystical monkey powers to protect me if I run into trouble" Ron assured.
"I'll be on guard too" Kim added.
"Very well," Dr. Director replied. "You two are dismissed".
Kim and Ron retrieved their Kimmunicator's and left the room, then headed down the long corridor towards the elevator, reflecting on everything that Dr. Director had just revealed to them both. This new threat sounded quite serious, and it had the both of them worried for not only their safety, but the safety of those they cared about. Ron also reflected on his nightmare and vision once more, now beginning to realize that things might be getting serious very soon. What Gemini had confessed to really began to make Ron wonder just how he'd be able to combat against such a powerful organization that no one knew about. The same could be said for Kim as well. The two of them had yet to comprehend the threat they now faced, but they planned to face it together, just like they had faced the Lowardian invasion two years ago.
"This is insane, Kim," Ron said as the two of them stepped inside the elevator. "I really hope Gemini wasn't serious about what he said regarding the Black Shadow having informers among us here at Global Justice".
"I highly doubt he was lying, given how nervous and hesitant he was to reveal it all to his own sister" Kim replied doubtfully.
Ron hesitated before speaking again, then looked up at the ceiling as he spoke again.
"Kim, I think Sensei might have foreseen this, or something relating to it" he said.
"What do you mean by that?" Kim asked.
"After hearing everything that Dr. Director just told us, I thought back to what Sensei told me the other night and I'm starting to think that what Gemini told her might actually be true" Ron confessed.
"How so? I'm not exactly following" Kim wondered.
"Think about it, Kim," Ron began. "Sensei warned me that we'd be facing a huge threat greater than ever before, and if the Black Shadow is anything like what Gemini mentioned, then that'll confirm that Ridley and his organization are indeed that threat".
"You could be right, now that I think about it," Kim replied with slight tension in her voice. "And if that's the case, then we'd best be prepared for whatever this Ridley creep has in store for us".
"That's the one thing that worries me," Ron glanced down briefly. "We have no idea what he's planning, and the fact that he stole enough plutonium to build a nuclear bomb makes it even worse. What if Ridley's planning to bomb Middleton?".
"Why would Ridley have a reason to do that? I can't understand why he'd want to destroy an entire city without a cause. Most super villains we've dealt with in the past have wanted to try and take over the world, not destroy it with nukes" Kim asked, confused.
"Maybe not to destroy, but to coerce whoever he targets to give him what he wants. If Ridley's actually building a nuclear bomb, he might try and use it to take control of Middleton. Adolf Hitler made similar threats to various European states back during WWII. He threatened to attack and even bomb certain states if they refused to axis themselves into the Nazi Empire. Ridley might be trying a similar tactic" Ron speculated.
"That's what it feels like to me, but we still have no way of knowing what Ridley plans to do. I wish I knew where his hideout was, then we could try and stop him" Kim replied.
"Hopefully, Dr. Director might find something useful on that flashdrive we found that'll lead us to Ridley and his organization. Until then, we'd better keep our guard up and not say anything about it in public. If there really are Black Shadow informers out there, we don't want them suspecting that we're into them, or Ridley might come after us and those we care about" Ron said, a bit on edge as he said it.
Kim agreed with Ron as the elevator came to a stop and they stepped out. As they left the building, the two heroes reflected on everything they had seen and heard that day. While Kim and Ron now had a lead as to who was behind Duff and Dementor's death, they still had yet to know where this new threat resided. And they were also even more paranoid than ever due to the fact that this so-called Black Shadow organization supposedly had spies everywhere around them hidden in the public. Kim and Ron felt… exposed. The fact that some of the people around them could be informers working for this evil organization really made them feel paranoid about being out alone. Even though Ron had his mystical monkey powers to protect him, he still wasn't willing to have an unexpected encounter with agents of a criminal organization that he and Kim still knew so little about. As they both entered Kim's Coupe, Ron stared out the window worriedly, thinking about those he cared about, such as his family and friends. He also thought about Yori the female ninja along with Sensei and his fellow ninja disciples. While Ron had been slightly infatuated towards Yori when he first met her, Kim was the one he truly loved. However, Yori was probably the second best friend he had, and the thought of any harm coming to her made his spine tingle. Ron also remembered Sensei saying something about his time and the time of his students drawing near an end, and that really frightened him. Was Ridley planning to attack the Yamanochi Ninja School? Did he even know of it's location? If the Black Shadow really had informers all over the globe, did they find out where Yamanouchi was? Ron didn't want to even speculate, but he had a bad feeling that Sensei and his ninja students were in terrible danger, and he didn't know what to do.
"Ron, you alright?" Kim asked, noticing his distress.
"No, I can't stop thinking about everything Dr. Director said," Ron replied. "It's just so... unnerving, and not to mention frightening. I mean, the closest criminal organization we've faced similar to Black Shadow is Gemini's Evil Empire, but this one is completely different. WEE only has eight members, but this one has millions, and multiple hidden bases all around the world. Ridley's members could be all around us and watching us while we're out in public, and we don't even know who they are, at least not yet".
"True, and I'm a bit worried about that as well, but that's why we need to heed Dr. Director's orders in keeping quiet about the Black Shadow organization while we're in public. As long as we do that, we should be safe" Kim assured him.
"I don't know, KP. I'm worried about our families, relatives, and friends as well," Ron replied doubtfully. "What if Ridley decides to go after them? I mean, with as many resources Ridley has, he could easily track our home locations and come after us".
"We can't let that get to us, Ron," Kim said, a small hint of unnerve in her voice. "Ridley may have connections of his own, wherever he is, but so do we. Global Justice will protect our families and friends if it comes to that".
"I'm worried about Wade too. You think Ridley might track him down?" Ron wondered.
"Hopefully, they won't," Kim replied, placing her hand on his leg. "Let's try and take our minds off of all this for now and head to Bueno Nacho. That should cheer us up".
Ron smiled with a nod.
"Yeah, your right. Let's not let it get to us too much" he agreed.
"Agreed" Kim replied.
The two of them continued down the road in silence as Rufus snored away in Ron's pocket.

"What is the status of our secret weapons construction progress? I trust you and your workers are performing to the best of your abilities?" Ridley questioned Faust over his communication screen in his quarters.
"Progress is coming along quite smoothly, my lord. At the rate the construction procedure is currently going, our weapon should be complete later tonight. The worker drones have proven quite useful in assisting our workers with the building process" Faust reported.
"Impressive," Ridley replied, grinning. "Then that means the first phase of my plan can begin quicker than I expected. Keep up the good work".
"My goal is but to serve you well, my lord," Faust said with a bow. "Also, I have a bit of bad news regarding a certain issue that's come to my attention just now".
Ridley frowned at this.
"And what is this issue, Commander Faust?" he questioned, his voice stern.
"Our informers down at Global Justice recently contacted me and told me that Gemini was taken into custody by two of their agents named Lloyd Florence and Nelson Rivers. They said that Dr. Betty Director intended to interrogate him for information on the deaths of Duff Killigan and Professor Dementor" Faust informed.
"What? Did you say Lloyd Florence?" Ridley asked in a firm voice.
"Yes, and his friend Nelson Rivers assisted in bringing Gemini in," Faust replied. "By the way you're asking, I presume you know them?".
"Lloyd Florence… that's a name I'll never forget," Ridley nodded with a cold glare. "He's the reason I ended up in…. never mind! What about Gemini? He didn't dare defy what I ordered him to do, did he?".
"We don't know for sure. Our informers said that the room Betty had him in was sound proof, and when Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable showed up, they went somewhere else in the building out of sight. Our informers don't know anything else, but they suspect that Gemini may have revealed who was responsible for Duff and Dementor's deaths. He's also been granted asylum at the Global Justice HQ by his sister, Dr. Director" Faust explained.
Ridley clenched his fists, now visibly angry at hearing this news. He was pretty sure that Gemini might have mentioned him being the one who employed several of his henchmen from the Worldwide Evil Empire along with Duff Killigan and Professor Dementor to assist with the heist mission the other night at the plutonium plant. Luckily, Ridley had not revealed the location of the Black Shadow fortress to Gemini, but this still posed a problem. If Gemini had revealed the name of his employer and what it was he told him about the Black Shadow informers, this could put Ridley's entire organization in jeopardy. And with Gemini being kept in protective custody at Global Justice HQ, trying to get him out would be very difficult. Ridley's informers could only do so much, and ordering them to try and get Gemini out of Global Justice HQ without a good enough excuse to fool their other agents wouldn't be easy.
"That damn traitor! He's gonna pay for this," Ridley growled angrily. "If Betty is keeping him in protective custody at Global Justice HQ, Heaven knows what he might reveal to her!".
"It's possible that Gemini might have already done that. I'm also pretty certain that Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable may know something about it as well," Faust inquired. "Our informers said that they overheard Betty telling them that she needed to speak with the two of them in a secure location. Like I said, I still can't confirm these theories, but this evidence the informers gave us is pretty convincing".
Ridley slammed his fist down on his desk angrily and cursed under his breath. While he was still certain that his organization's main hideout was safe from exposer, Ridley was still enraged that Gemini dared to defy him. He had wanted his organization to stay secret, but thanks to that old fool, Global Justice and their two best agents now knew who Ridley was along with the name of his organization. They probably didn't know what he looked like, but it didn't take a genius to know that Global Justice would now do everything in their power to track him down, along with his organization's bases. And it was all because Gemini wouldn't keep his mouth shut.
"Damn it! I swear, that whistle blowing bastard is gonna pay for defying me! No one, and I mean, NO one defies Black Shadow and gets away with it!" Ridley raged.
"Getting Gemini out of Global Justice may prove difficult, Lord Ridley. Might I suggest we capture Kimberly Possible or her boyfriend Ron Stoppable and interrogate them in his place? We can kill them afterwards" Faust suggested.
"No," Ridley replied firmly. "Rest assured that I plan to eliminate them in due time, but technically, I will not be the one to take their lives".
"I don't exactly understand what you mean by that," Faust said in confusion. "Kim and Ron have to be eliminated if they know what Gemini knows, and as for Gemini, we have to find a way to deal with him".
"Gemini will be dealt with; I can promise you that," Ridley hissed. "But it will not be him who suffers, it will be his sister that pays for his defiance. And as for Kimberly and Ron, I already have a plan to eliminate them both in the future, but I will not reveal it just yet".
"I see," Faust replied. "So you intend to eliminate Dr. Director?".
"Yes, and I have just the way to do it," Ridley said with an evil grin. "Is my new war mech suit fully functional? I ordered my worker drones to test it's systems the other day".
"Indeed it is, my Lord," Faust replied with a proud smile. "In fact, it is ready now".
Ridley grinned evilly and stood up from his desk.
"Good, and I think I know where to give my new toy a test run," he grinned. "Those drug traffickers down at the old abandoned freight train yard I sent that load of cocaine to the other week haven't paid me back in time like I ordered them to, so I think they deserve a little punishment".
Faust grinned as well and nodded his head.
"I do believe your right, my Lord. I shall prepare your new battlesuit mech right away" he replied.
"Good, I'll be down there soon; Ridley out" Ridley informed, then shut the screen off.
As the evil crime lord headed towards the door, his head swam with thoughts on how he'd eliminate Betty Director after he dealt with those pathetic druggies who failed to pay him what they owed him. While Ridley still wanted Gemini dead for daring to defy him, he'd have to wait another day for his chance to finally eliminate him, but that didn't mean Ridley couldn't have a little fun in the process. And what better way to punish Gemini than attacking the one family member that he loved.
"You'll regret ever defying me, Gemini. Mark my words," Ridley said aloud as he headed out of his quarters to the elevator. "I hope you enjoyed whatever time you had with your sister in that interrogation room, because it's the last time you'll ever see her alive".
