Hey folks! I just want to write this AN as an apology for taking a while to write the 3rd chapter. Been trying to beat Patriot and I finally did it, and now I'm on chapter 8. Besides that, I'm not gonna beat around the bush I've been procrastinating a bit, this doesn't mean I'm not losing interest just sorta burnt after writing a 5k+ chapter not too long ago would do that.
Anyway like I said in a update in the 2nd chapter to the new readers, I'm like 20'ish% complete with the 3rd chapter of this story. Had shot some ideas with my beta, along with editing what needed to be fixed so it flows well with what I have planned in it.
Also as I also said in it there will be a surprise arrival in it, I will spoil it because I rather it be well.. a surprise and I want you guys to guess who it is. Also as you guys know I do go into detail somewhat when it comes to me killing someone off, and this chapter will be no different, along with the subject matter that will be depicted, or mentioned, I wanted to get it out of the way because I will say the same thing again in the AN in the new chapter. This story is rated M for a good reason and its not only cover my butt, but also so I have some freedom with what I do with the subject matter of the story.
Also here is something I plan on doing later on in the story, don't know how many chapters in, but I do plan on making a spin-off series. Mainly going about the everyday life of Yelena, along with her family/the new yeti squadron. It will be like 'Today's menu for the Emiya Family', so it will have cooking. I have a love for cooking and baking, but I mainly specialize with cooking though. Anyway, I figured it would be nice to show the more lighter side of things, dealing with bandit tribes, or as you saw at the end of the 2nd chapter what will be the main cause of her problems. Sorry rambling again, anyway, yeah it'll be a slice of life spin-off.
Anyway, please be patient while I continue writing the chapter, I rather not rush it out because I don't want the quality of it to diminish. I want to make sure each chapter is natural with the characters development, and the flow of it a mix of daily stuff, and some world building, and then action. And finding that balance is as you can tell a bit difficult, but I rather write a decently well written and fleshed out story that I want to read as well, than write one that is fast and poorly written.
I thank you for your understanding and patience, I'll get back to writing now, and post an update when I'm further into it.
