"This isn't what I had in mind when I've considered taking you to bed." He muttered a bit louder than he had initially planned to. A shiver of worry made its way down his spine as he pulled her a little closer and continued to pet her head in an effort to comfort her.

"Well, there is still time…" She swallowed deeply and continued to breath heavily.

Shadow went a bit ridged at her response to his comment that he had prayed she hadn't overheard. "Really?" He questioned becoming slightly aroused despite the fact he was worried about her sickly state.

"Yeah." She let out a small laugh as she calmly peered over her shoulder at him. " Ya can take that there pillow and smother me still. In fact… right now ya'd likely be doing me a favor."

Shadow looked at her in disbelief. Was she really that ignorant? "I'll save it for later." He finally responded getting a forced grin from her in response before she turned her head away from him and pressed her chin to her chest again.

Sandy groaned off and on for likely ann hour before Shadow noticed she finally fell asleep. Her perfuse sweating seemed to be subsiding finally, and her sounds of discomfort were well on the decline. Shadow definitely was shocked she'd became ill so fast, and was even more in awe that she seemed to finally be overcoming it almost as quickly. He smiled to himself that even her immune system was a force to be reckoned with.

She had been right about one thing she had said right after getting ill, as he didn't mind finding just about any reason to get her to laid down next to him. Of course, he was frustrated he couldn't feel her in all the ways his body was begging to know her, but he was more than happy to settle for feeling her breath on his fur, and feeling her chest rise and settle. The smell of her bathing products was unique enough he definitely could only associate the sent with her, and fretted once that scent of her finally escaped him.

As much as being trapped in this old decaying ruin rubbed him raw, he still found himself lucky that he was alone with her. He just hoped he didn't blow their friendship with him pushing for activities to pass the time that she'd find offensive, as they had been crossing his mind well before they even became captive.

Dreams started to insert themselves in Shadow's mind before he noticed Sandy shift causing him to become awake immediately. He opened his eyes and saw her sitting up and looking down at him. A half grin crossed her lips as she then leaned against the wall behind her.

"I guess we should have a talk." She sighed while her face took on an apologetic demeanor.

"Oh shit! Did she understand what I was hinting at?" He thought to himself as he looked at her blankly trying to hind his worry.

"I got a few more things I wanna try, but pretty soon I might have ta try some more desperate measures, and well…. They are kinda risky. If things really take a dive I might need ya ta finally try to break through the hatch, but I'm still really doubtful you'll be able to."

Shadow couldn't hold back his relived sigh. "And here I thought you knew better than to doubt me."

"Hopefully ya won't have ta prove me wrong, but if push comes ta shove I sure as heck hope ya do." She playfully pushed on his chest as he was still laying down looking up at her. "I guess if ya have anything reasonable ya need ta get out of yer system now would be the time." She giggled as she then stood up and stretched.

"What about you?" He questioned her seriously as he sat up and caught her gaze as she looked back at him surprised.

Sandy shrugged as rolled her neck in an effort to loosing it up. "Not really." He caught the reddening of her cheeks as she turned her attention to the computer again.

"Nothing? Really?" Shadow hummed doubtfully as he stood up and walked towards her. He smiled slightly as she became very uncomfortable by his close presents after the last question. "Might I suggest something?"

Sandy stopped what she was doing and looked at him. Her face was covered in embarrassment yet she still tried to stand strong. She was definitely caught off guard by him, and he wasn't sure if she was dreading his suggestion, or hoping for it, but it was very clear to him that she knew the general gist of what he was about to suggest.

"What?" She asked quietly.

"You told me you've never really kissed a man. You gave me a peck on the lips after our first job together, but that doesn't really count." He took a step closer to her so they were chest to chest now, her looking up and him and him looking down at her. "I want to show you what a real kiss is."

"Why?" She questioned in all honesty.

"I've never been anyone's first kiss." He cleared his throat awkwardly. "You're my best friend and…" He brushed the back of his hand lightly over her cheek. "I've wanted to for a long time."

"OK." She answered as her fear seemed to subside.

Shadow looked at her shocked as he wasn't expecting her to be so easily won over by this suggestion. However, he wasn't about to lose out on this opportunity. The two continued to look at one another emotionlessly as Shadow placed one of his hands behind her head and his other on her shoulder. He started to bend down slowly as he pulled her into him. He noticed her breath had started to accelerate as had his. Their noses rubbed together briefly before he licked his lips and gently bushed his against hers. After a few times of repeating this he finally opened his mouth slightly causing her to follow suit. He slowly inserted his tongue in deeper to her mouth with each moist kiss.

Sandy gasped far too happily between each interaction between their mouths. She quickly found herself wrapping her arms around him and gripping his shoulder blades tightly. Warm waves of pleasure made their way from her chest to her groan and then back out through the rest of her body again. She had never done this before, but found herself completely enjoying the way he introduced her to it.

Shadow breathed heavily and hot into her face after his latest release from her mouth. He continued to breath heavily for a moment before finding his voice again. Sandy didn't mind the silent so much as they were still holding onto one another and his hot breath over the fur on her face caused her much not so understood pleasure. "Sandy…" He gasped. "I have another suggestion." He pulled away from her enough so they could look into one another's eyes. The male didn't even have to speak his proposition as she pressed her lips to his again as she fell back on the bed pulling him on top of her. He'd more than convinced her of stepping up to this new level in their relationship.
