Korra, Asami and Lin are running down the hall when they run into Bolin; "Guys! There you are, I've been looking everywhere for you. Have you seen Opal? She was supposed to meet me on Air Temple Island for a picnic, but when I got there the entire Island was deserted." Bolin says, as he tries to catch up with the rest of the group. "Oh no, not her too." Lin says sadly, "Come on Bolin, no time to explain, right now Mako needs our help!" Korra insists, pulling his arm and running out the door.
When they all get outside, Mako is single handedly fighting off five Fire Benders, blocking and dodging every flame and lighting bolt coming his way. One man, sneaks up behind him with a torched blade, aiming it at the back of his head. *WHOOSH* Korra knocks him back with a burst of air, shooting out of her glider. Another attempts an attack on Asami, but she quickly jumps up, wrapping her legs around the mans neck, while twisting her body, causing him to slam into the ground. He Tries to get back up but she sends a pulse of electricity through his shoulder, knocking him out. Meanwhile, Lin and Bolin are taking on the remaining Traditionalists, "Take, that! No one messes with my friends!" Bolin shouts as he bends a spinning molted piece of earth, hitting the man in the torso, and knocking the wind out of his lungs. Lin has the other man trapped in a metal web, finally they are all subdued, once again proving, Chief Beifong and Team Avatar are unstoppable.
"What was that all about?" Bolin asks, trying to catch his breath. "Must have been more Traditionalists showing up to ambush us into letting their little buddy go." Lin answers, "Are they who took Opal? I'm going to give them the biggest hot foot they've ever seen!" Bolin exclaims. "Chief, what's going on" Asks an approaching officer. "Now you show up." Says Lin crossing her arms, "Take these thugs in for booking and charge them with attempted kidnapping and assault with a deadly flame." She orders, "Yes Chief" He replies before turning and walking away. "Is everyone okay?" Korra asks her friends. "All good." Mako calls out. "I'm fine, sweetie." Asami says, dusting herself off. "I'm not! We need to come up with a plan to save Opal and the others!" "Don't worry, Bolin, we're going to find them, I'll see to it myself. I'm going to radio Su and tell her the news." Lin assures him.
"Asami, how about you and I go talk to President Moon and see if she's willing to get the United Forces involved. By the looks of it, we're going to need all the backup we can get, seeing as all of the Airbenders have been taken…" Korra suggests. "Okay, sounds like a plan." Replies Asami, "Bolin and I will come with you." Mako insists, "Okay, I paged for my car to be delivered, it should be here any minute." Asami adds. "WOO HOO, Team Avatar, is back in action!" Bolin shouts in excitement.
"Hi, we're here to speak to President Moon, please." Asami tells Zhu Li's assistant, "She's in a meeting at the moment, Ms. Sato, can this wait?" She asks politely, "No, it can't" Korra answers, people are being taken and she needs to know about." She continues "Oh my, that's terrible, let me just let her know you're here, and I'm sure she'll be with you as soon as possible." She assures them, "What can I do for you all?" Zhu Li asks while her assistant is poring tea and distributing Varricakes. "The Traditionalists have resurfaced and they've abducted all of the airbenders and have already attempted to kill us, twice. I have a feeling this is only the beginning and I came here to ask for your help. Call in the United Forces, please, before anyone else gets taken." Korra begs "I'm sorry, Korra, but I can't risk another all out war… the city is still recovering from Kuvira's Spirit ray…but I've heard stories about these Traditionalists, and I don't want you to assume I don't take this matter seriously. I will give the order to provide funding and create a special task force, dedicated to dealing with these terrorists." Zhu Li promises. "That'll have to do. I should be able to tap into the spirit vines and see where they've been taken." Korra agrees. "Thank you Madame President." They all say before exiting her office.
"Now what?" Bolin asks, "I need to tap into the vines and see where everyone's been taken." Korra answers, "I did it before with Wou, I should be able to do it again." She continues. "What if you can't?" Mako asks, "Well, then we'll just have to think of something else, lets go!" She says as they all jump into Asami's Water Tribe blue and white Satomobile. Asami isn't playing around, she's weaving in and out of traffic, running every light when, her engine suddenly bursts into flames, causing her and the rest Team Avatar to crash into a pole. "Uhg" Asami groans, "Is everyone okay?" She asks, "We're good, what was that?" Mako asks, rubbing the back of his neck. "Someone must have disconnected something inside the engine, before Milo delivered my car." Asami says, "These people are the worst!" Bolin shouts. "I'm sorry about your car, I know it took you months to draw up, I'm sure your next one will be even more brilliant." Korra assures her girlfriend. "Come on, the vines are only a block away." Korra says, gesturing for her friends to pick up the pace.
The team arrives at the spirit wilds and Korra walks up, closes her eyes and places her right hand on one of the vines. "How does she know this will work?" Mako says, "Would you just give her a minute?" Asami replies, "Like she said, she's done it before so she can do it again, now be quiet, she needs to concentrate." She continues in her girlfriends defense. "Okay, okay, jeez. It was only a question." Mako whispers, clearly intimidated. Korra takes her hand off the vines and walks over to her friends, "Well, this isn't good." Korra says, "They've taken all the airbenders to a remote village in The Fire Nation, and by the looks of it, they're trying to torture them for information. They were holding a picture of Asami and I in front of Kai, and when he shook his head, they threw him in a cell." Korra continues sadly. "Did you see, Opal?" Bolin asks, "Yes, I did and she looks okay, for now." Korra assures him. "But we need to get there as fast as we can, and all the Bison have scattered." Korra says, trying to think of a plan. "Hmmm, I've been working on a new prototype, and my staff just finished the final touches on the first model last night, maybe we can try it out." Asami says, "Prototype, huh?" Korra replies, winking at her girlfriend. "Not that kind, Korra…" Asami says with a flirty smile on her face. "You guys are being weird again." Mako interjects. "Oh, get over yourself, Mako. We're a couple now, get used to it." Korra says, annoyed. "Guys, we don't have time for this, come on, we can walk to my office from here." Asami interjects.
