After another class was over, the students were leaving, Beck gave Jade a kiss and then she headed out, Beck smiled and then was about to go in the opposite direction till Tori grabbed his arm and he looked at her.
"Beck, think you can help me out for a minute?" Tori asked.
"Sure. What do ya need Tori?" Beck asked, curiously.
"I really, really need another singer for my duet recording at the last minute."
"What about Andre?"
"Andre's gotta go help his grandma get a raccoon out of her fireplace or something like that. You're the only other option."
"Okay. Meet you at the studio?"
"Sure."
The two left in different directions and Beck went over to the lockers and saw Jade putting her books inside. Jade gave Beck a passionate kiss till he broke away.
"Jade, babe, I've gotta do something real fast, then we'll get outta here."
"It doesn't have anything to do with Vega again...Does it?" Jade asked, eyeing Beck suspiciously.
"Pfft! No. Even if it did, can't believe you don't even trust me around her more since she helped get us back together."
"Vega'll always be public enemy number 1 no matter what but appreciate your shitty effort." Jade said, casually.
Beck rolled his eyes and gave Jade another kiss then hurried off. As Jade watched him go, she couldn't help but have this feeling that he was lying again to avoid her wrath. Jade followed Beck but then to her annoyance lost him. Jade groaned in frustration and went looking for Beck hoping she'd eventually find him. In the studio, Beck and Tori were sitting in chairs and holding microphones. They just got done singing the song 'Love Lifts Up Where We Belong' and then they smiled at each other as Tori turned off the music.
"Cut! Yes! A shoo-in for that music producer coming to The Nozu next week. Thanks Beck." Tori said, happily.
"Anytime."
"Jade know you've helped me?" Tori asked, now nervously.
"No. Almost told her but she doesn't suspect a thing. Plus, I should be free to help out a friend."
"Right. Absolutely. And better do this quick as a thanks before Jade comes at me with her scissors or mace."
Tori touched Beck's shoulder and kissed his cheek. Beck for some reason kept staring at Tori's dark eyes and her half-Latina beauty.
"Beck..."
Beck unexpectedly but gently placed his lips on Tori's and kissed her. Tori was surprised for a minute but then melted into Beck's kiss but it didn't take her long to realize what she was doing and quickly broke away.
"Beck, what're you doing?! Think about Jade." Tori said, eyes wide.
"Right. Right. Caught in the moment. Just thought I'd sort of make up for that kiss we didn't get when you got chosen to sing at the Platinum Awards is all." Beck said, moving away.
"Beck, that's sweet, but you know I can't do that to a friend and since me and Jade are a tiny, tiny bit closer, I..."
"Ah-ha!" A female voice called out.
The two turned and saw Jade at the door, fuming, her scissors at ready.
"What the hell is this?!"
"Jade, he was only..."
"Shut it, Vega! I know exactly what I saw and you're gonna suffer first."
Jade came at Tori with the scissors till Beck stood between them.
"Jade, enough! Tori didn't make a move on me, I kissed her first."
Jade now looked more angry as Tori backed away and grabbed her backpack.
"I'll just leave you guys alone right now."
"I'm not through with you yet Vega!"
Tori squeaked and ran out of the studio as Beck called out to her and she quickly closed the door, Jade was about to go after her till Beck grabbed her arm.
"Settle down, Jade. Let her go."
Jade yanked her arm out of Beck's grasp and glared at him.
"Don't touch me!" Jade spat.
"Jade, I know it was stupid of me to kiss Tori but..."
"It was stupid all those times you kissed Vega, Beck! Why don't you just fuck the gank while you're at it?" Jade snapped, crossing her arms.
"Tori's my friend Jade, she's not a gank!"
"Oh...So you're taking her side?"
"I'm not taking anyone's side but babe I'm tired of you constantly still eyeing me whenever I'm around a girl. I thought you were gonna get better at this, not worse." Beck argued.
"You knew what you were asking for when we got back together, Oliver!"
Beck was surprised. Jade had never called him by his last name before. Ever. She was really angry this time, almost possessive over him.
"Just because we're dating Jade doesn't mean I've gotta be on a leash and yanked when a girl walks by."
"I'll yank the leash as much as I want till you learn not to look at some hot chick."
"It's my life, Jade!"
"But you're my boyfriend, Beck!"
"Jade, we had this fight before and you know what it led to."
Jade's eyes softened somewhat then but only a little as her shoulders also relaxed.
"I don't want it lead to this again Beck but if you keep looking at girls like Tori, what choice do we got?"
Beck moved over to Jade and touched her face.
"Then just start trusting me more."
Jade scoffed and pulled away from Beck's touch and looked at him angrily again.
"Just so you can keep doing what you're doing?"
"So...Do you wanna break up for good this time or keep staying together and trust me and stop acting bossy?"
Jade aimed to kiss Beck but then suddenly slapped him hard as Beck held his cheek, Jade gasped and her eyes widened that she drew some blood. Robbie came in the studio then and gasped audibly at Beck's face and Jade's look of anger at her boyfriend. They looked at Robbie who just stood there with his jaw open and eyes also wide. Jade glowered at Robbie but then looked at Beck and picked up her backpack.
"We're done Beck. Forever. I'm through with you. No more texting, calls or even being friends. It's over and you're not gonna keep leading me on again." Jade said, dryly.
Jade stormed out of the studio and Robbie looked at Beck and he wiped the blood off his cheek and also stormed out. What had just happened? Did Jade really mean that she wanted Beck out of her life for good or would she come around like she always did during their cliche arguments? Robbie really hoped Jade was gonna cool off and they'd get back together.
