Time for the third chapter of Return to Bullworth.
It looks like Jessica is going to face the nerds...again!
But this time, she won't be facing them alone.
Making friends at Bullworth has its perks.
Perhaps she can make friends with the nerds...once she gets them to respect her.
Chapter 3: Panty Raiders
Jessica woke up, ready to start her new day at Bullworth.
But she got the feeling that something was missing.
Was she just imagining things?
She decided to check her drawers.
It was time for her to wear her school uniform.
She wanted to keep to the dress code...even if Zoe didn't care about that.
Jessica searched her drawers, but couldn't find most of her underwear.
It turned out she was indeed missing something.
She quickly realized what was going on.
"Those nerds made off with my panties!" exclaimed Jessica, pressing her hands against her head.
As if spying on her in the shower wasn't bad enough.
Now they had to go and steal from her too.
"Is something wrong?" asked Zoe.
"Well, nobody messes with my roommate and gets away with it." noted Jessica's roommate.
"It's nice to know I have support." remarked Bullworth's new student.
Unfortunately, while Jessica wasn't fighting the nerds alone this time, they were also prepared for a fight.
Also, they were by the fountain this time.
"How much do you think Earnest will pay us for these?" asked Bucky.
"I certainly hope he'll be able to pay for your medical bills." noted Zoe.
"We're busted! Again!" exclaimed Melvin.
"Well, it's a good thing we're ready this time." spoke Donald.
Zoe swung her fist at a nerd, but he blocked the fist with his library book.
"And Mr. Burton told me that reading books don't win you fights." noted the boy who did not get on with the former gym teacher.
"You haven't won." answered Jessica.
"A technicality." explained the boy.
Fatty attempted to punch Zoe, but she ducked underneath his fist.
"Too slow, Fatty." remarked the redheaded girl.
Perhaps he shouldn't skip out on gym class.
"Why does everyone call me that?" remarked the fat boy.
"Probably because you're the only one who finishes Edna's cooking at the cafeteria." remarked Cornelius.
Though it was a lot better than last year.
Thad threw a pencil at Jessica.
"Ow!" exclaimed the blonde, clutching her right elbow.
That pencil was pointy.
"Hey!" shouted Zoe.
"Uh-oh." remarked Thad.
In retaliation, the tall redheaded girl gave him a wedgie.
"Not the wedgie!" exclaimed the boy.
"I happen to be an expert at it." remarked Zoe.
"I can tell!" shouted Thad.
He wasn't going to forget this anytime soon.
Melvin pulled out a slingshot.
But Jessica took it away from him.
"Uh-oh." remarked the fat nerd.
Jessica used the slingshot against the nerds.
"Oww!" exclaimed Donald.
Who would have thought their own weapon would be used against them?
It was a bitter irony.
Eventually, the nerds surrendered.
Seemed the girls were a bit too strong for them. Though things might have been different if they brought a spudgun.
Jessica was happy to have her underwear back.
The nerds ran back to the library.
But it seemed a bit early to be celebrating.
The nerds still seemed to be coming up with perverted schemes against her.
"I still don't think I've seen the last of the nerds." noted Jessica.
At least she got her undies back.
"They don't know when to quit." answered Zoe.
"You think we should talk to the principal?" asked the student who had her panties stolen.
"I don't know. When I complained about Mr. Burton hitting on me I was given the boot." noted the former townie.
He reconsidered, but she was still a bit wary of trusting the man. Even if he was supposedly brilliant. She didn't want history to repeat itself, that was for sure.
"I see." nodded Jessica.
Perhaps Crabblesnitch should be a bit more hasty to expel students.
Although, at the same time, he probably should have expelled Gary sooner. Before he made Bullworth Academy into Bedlam Academy.
Admittedly, the police would have eventually found a way to open the gates, but by then the whole school might have burst into flames.
"By the way, you think I should keep the slingshot?" asked Jessica, holding out the slingshot for Zoe to see.
Her roommate nodded.
She imagined that it would be useful later.
"Alright then." nodded Jessica.
Later, after fighting the nerds, Zoe decided to do some tagging.
She wrote "Mr. Burton Is A Loser."
"This is so fun." thought Zoe to herself.
Luckily, the cops were on lunch break at the moment.
She wouldn't have to worry about them.
"Hey!" exclaimed Mr. Burton.
"Why didn't I think of this before?" asked Zoe.
The reaction on his face was priceless.
Meanwhile, Jessica checked the calendar.
It looked as if Halloween was coming up.
She arrived at Bullworth at October, after all.
What should she go as?
There were a lot of possibilities.
She wondered what Zoe would go as.
Though she could make a good guess.
Jessica decided on an angel costume.
Her mother always referred to her as such.
So she decided it would be a good way to keep her memory alive.
Zoe showed up.
"Oh, hey, Zoe. What have you been up to?" asked Jessica.
"I've been spray painting on the walls in town." noted Zoe.
"Don't the police frown upon that?" questioned the blonde girl. She didn't want her roommate to get busted. And it would be a shame if she got expelled again. She heard that Jimmy got expelled for tagging once.
Oddly enough, the message he had painted was still there.
"I think they'll let it slide. They're not fond of Mr. Burton themselves." explained the redheaded girl.
"Oh. You were making fun of Mr. Burton." noted Jessica.
Perhaps she could be forgiven for spray painting about him.
At the gym...
"The nerds got trounced again!" exclaimed Casey.
He wasn't expecting it to happen twice in a row.
This time it seemed they tried stealing panties.
Ms. Peabody was going to be so cross with them.
His current year at Bullworth was off to a good start.
"When will they learn?" asked Mandy.
Probably never.
Still, it was rather amusing watching the perverted nerds get what was coming to them.
If they thought they could spy on her while in the shower, they had another thing coming.
Perhaps Ted would like to meet this girl.
But on the other hand, he didn't have a free schedule.
He spent most of his time practicing for sports.
Just in case, she should probably keep an eye on her room in the girls' dorm.
At the boys dorm...
As the head boy, Pete happened to be aware of current events at his school.
"I wonder if the same person who trounced the nerds last time was responsible this time around." noted Pete.
Although, this time around, it seemed that two people had attacked the nerds.
He was watching a game of baseball.
There sure were awfully strong men in those games.
He was totally heterosexual though. Mostly.
Pete had to admit, his life was a lot easier now that Gary was gone.
Now he didn't have to worry about him kicking him between the legs. Gary thought that sort of thing was funny. Perhaps he wouldn't after Jimmy made him experience it for himself.
He had to see the nurse after that. And he had to wait in line too.
And it was awkward putting a bag of ice on his weiner.
Who was attacking the nerds, he wondered?
Meanwhile, at the school's basement...
As it turned out, one of the two new school cliques (the goths) had claimed the school's basement for themselves.
They figured a dark place like the school's basement would work best for them.
Like the library, it was also nice and quiet. They could have chosen the library as their hideout, but it was already taken by the nerds.
They hapoened to dislike the jocks (due to them bullying unpopular students), so if they tried to enter, they were in for a not-so-pleasant surprise.
They didn't like the preps either. They made fun of their fashion sense.
They thought it would make for a great hangout.
It was nice and quiet. It was actually similar to the library in that aspect.
Their leader was a goth girl named Lucille.
She had been born on Halloween.
Which didn't really surprise people.
Lucille had long black hair. She also wore black lipstick and painted the rims of her eyes black as well.
Originally, the goths intended for their leader to be male. The clique leaders all happened to be boys. So they assumed that they wouldn't be an exception.
But Lucille impressed so much with her knowledge of poetry and music that they made her their leader instead.
So one could say she was a groundbreaker at Bullworth.
She heard that Pinky had become leader of the preps recently though.
It looked as if Derby was now a prefect.
Perhaps she would be a prefect someday.
But for now, she was satisfied with her current position.
She was looking forward for Halloween.
It would be an exciting moment for the goths.
Perhaps they would get to scare people.
At the Harrington house...
The preps were ready to throw eggs at any intruders that dared approach the Harrington House.
They were mostly saving them for the greasers.
Though it might be fun to throw some at Algie.
Pinky had something she wished to tell Bif.
"I've decided on what I'm going to be for Halloween!" exclaimed the new leader of the preps.
"Let me guess, you're going as a princess." remarked the boxer.
"How'd you guess?" asked Pinky.
"That's what you went as last year." pointed out the boxer.
However, it seemed she was going to wear a blue dress this time.
It matched what the preppies usually wore.
They certainly liked their aquaberry vests.
"You think they'll have a head girl someday?" asked Pinky.
"Possibly. There's been a rise in female students since last year." noted Bif.
It wouldn't be too surprising.
"You think you'll wear a pink dress someday?" asked the boxer.
"Now why would I do tha-oh wait, I get it. Very funny." answered Pinky.
At the auto shop...
Two Greasers were standing guard outside the auto shop.
They were Norton and Peanut.
Wouldn't want the obnoxious preps to spray paint in their hideout about how much the greasers sucked.
Hal had something he wished to tell Johnny.
"I heard that the preps are under new leadership." noted the fat greaser.
"Who's leader now?" asked Johnny.
Was it Bif?
He envied the muscles that he had...though Valentine was pretty sure that he would never want to be a preppie. He didn't even like wearing aquaberry vests.
And he probably wouldn't be able to afford one, anyway.
"It's Pinky, the self-proclaimed princess of the school." explained the fat greaser.
"I see." answered the leader of the greasers.
To be honest, he didn't imagine himself fighting a girl.
Though he had been tempted to fight Lola a few times.
Still, if the preps provoked them, they could and would fight back.
Besides, Pinky wasn't going to be princess of the school if they had anything to say about it.
Meanwhile...
"You got trounced again?" asked Earnest.
Fatty nodded.
Once again, Jessica had given them a beating.
"What's so hard about making off with ladies' underwear?" questioned the nerd leader. If he had gone himself, he would have pulled it off within a few minutes.
"She's friends with Zoe Taylor." explained Donald. And she was her roommate as well.
It was hard to touch Jessica when she was friends with one of the toughest students at school. Zoe could probably hold her own against Russell of all people.
"She is? That complicates matters, doesn't it. We'll have to find a way to get her out of the picture." noted Earnest.
Otherwise he wouldn't be able to have Jessica all for himself.
Now that he thought of it, Halloween was coming up.
Perhaps he could try to scare Zoe away. Make her transfer to a different school.
With her gone, there shouldn't be any further interference.
However, Algie overheard what Earnest was saying.
Remembering the kindness Jessica had showed him earlier, he decided he would tell her about the nerd's plans.
Even if it could result in being thrown out of the clique.
She would want to know about this.
Those nerds are persistent, aren't they? It doesn't seem like they'll learn, even though learning is what nerds do best.
I figured I would feature some of the clique leaders in this chapter...including the one I came up with.
In the next chapter, it's going to be Halloween...and Zoe figures they can try scaring the nerds.
They seem to be acceptable targets.
Algie happens to dislike Halloween...it causes him to wet his pants more than any other holiday.
