Chapter 3:
Harry, Barry and Bo go back into Walnut Grove and stay in their Hotel room at Nellie's until about 8pm. When it's dark outside they go over to the stable and find two horses and a wagon and in the wagon there is a rifle that someone left. Barry says, "Great that rifle might come in handy. I just happen to have bullets in my pocket."
Harry answers, "Excellent! Now let's go get those brats so we can put a ransom out for them when their parents get home."
Harry, Barry and Bo heads towards the Ingalls place and noone in Town notices them because it's dark and the Town is getting ready for bed. They arrive at the Ingalls and Grace is in bed and is sleeping after Laura read her a bedtime story. Albert has gotten Carrie into bed. Albert and Laura are both about to lay down for the evening when Albert says to Laura, "I think I hear something outside."
Laura says, "Albert it's your imagination. We are both tired let's go to sleep."
Albert agrees that it's his imagination and begins to fall asleep. A minute later Laura is snoring and Albert says to himself, "That girl sure does snore loud."
Grace begins to wake up and begins to cry and it wakes up Laura. Laura checks on baby Grace she wants a little milk. Laura gets her some and just then the door opens by the three crooks. Laura is stunned and drops the milk. Albert looks down from the loft and asks "Laura what's wrong?" Albert didn't see the 3 men at first.
Bo looks up at the loft sees Albert and says, "Hey you, get down here! We're taking you all hostage."
Albert has a look and says, "Hey? what? But you can't!"
Barry responds, "And why not?
Albert answers, "Because we are just kids."
Bo says, "So what! We have the gun! You all get in the wagon before we shoot you all!"
Albert replies, "We are not getting in your stupid wagon."
Bo shouts, "Yes you are! Hey Barry tie them up."
Bandit the dog begins to bark at Barry, Bo and Harry as they as are tieing up the children. Albert kicks Barry in the face and Laura bends his arm back but he still manages to get Albert, Laura, Carrie and Grace tied and in the wagon.
Bandit is still growling at them as Harry is kicking at the dog knocking the dog out cold and then Bo says, "Put the dog in the wagon also."
Bandit is put in the wagon and the three crooks drive off the Ingalls land and Laura asks, "Why do you want us? We never even saw you before."
Harry answers, "We heard your Ma and Pa have come into alot of money and we are going to hold you ransom to get it ALL!"
Albert cuts in and says, "It's a good thing you didn't shoot us back at the house you wouldn't have gotten the ransom." Albert then smiles and laughs.
Harry just looks at Albert, "Well, Gee whiz we didn't think about that. You must think you are a smart aleck kid."
Albert just grins.
Grace is beginning to cry again and Laura says, "Grace wants some milk we need to go back for the Cow."
Bo asks, "What? A Cow? No way!"
Laura answers, "Grace won't stop crying unless she has some milk."
"Oh ok already, we we'll go get the Cow," Bo answers.
They go back and get the Ingalls Cow. The Cow is moing (mooo, mooo, mooo), and giving a fuss as Bo ties him to the wagon. Bandit the dog is just reviving from being unconscious and jumps out of the wagon and starts to run toward the Garvey's for help.
Will Bandit be able to get to the Garvey's to get help for his loving young master and mistresses?
