Location: beacon {airship heading to beacon}

Looking out the viewport of the bullhead I saw the fast-approaching buildings of beacon academy. "Holy shit, you didn't spare any expense on building this place, did you?" I asked professor ozpin as I stared out the viewport at the massive castle style school. "Well, this is a prestigious academy after all." he replied taking a sip of his coffee. "Still, did you have to make it look like Hogwarts?" I replied with a slight chuckle. "I am unfamiliar with what this 'Hogwarts' is that you speak of." he replied as I sat back down across from him.
"Right, I forgot. Different world. Hogwarts is basically a school from a movie series back home." I replied resting my head on my hands and sighing. "I see." he replied as the bullhead began to land. "Well miss matoi. Welcome to beacon academy. If you would please follow me, I will show you to your dorm room. I already had my assistant professor goodwitch prepare the room and a scroll and a quick rundown of remnant history for you." he said getting up and walking out of the bullhead as it landed and opened the doors I got up and followed closely to him.
"As you can see, the building ahead of us is the dormitory, over to the right is the dining hall, breakfast is served at 6:30 to 7:30 every morning, lunch is at 12:00 to 12:30 and dinner is served at 6:30 to 7:30 every night." he said pointing out the buildings. "Classes begin on Monday as you already know. I will have one of the members of team RWBY come by Monday morning before class and have them escort you to your first class." he said as we walked up to the dorm building and begun walking into it. "Ok, so I have to ask." I spoke. "Why the weird team names?" I asked looking at him as we walked to my new room. "Well, each team is named after a color or type of animal or flower. And because of the member of team RWBY having their first names begin with r, w, b, and y, I chose the name RWBY. As confusing as that is." he replied.
"Why would It be confusing?" I asked. "Well, you see, the team leader of team RWBY is ruby rose. A student who is basically a prodigy here." he replied as we approached the door. "I see." I replied. "Well, we have arrived at your new dorm room." he said as we stopped Infront of a door on the third floor. Opening the door with his scroll he guided me in to the room. "Woah. Nice place." I said looking around the room. "Ah you must be miss matoi." a woman said from the door frame. "My name is Glynda goodwitch, but you can call me professor goodwitch. I am the combat teacher here as well as the headmaster's assistant, and I am aware of your 'unique' situation." she said as I turned to look at her and shook her hand. "Here is your schedule and scroll, the scroll is how you unlock your door and can gauge your aura as well as act as a communication device." she said handing me a piece of paper and a what looked like a cell phone of some kind.
"This looks like a cell phone." I replied looking at the scroll. "a cell phone? What's that?" Glynda asked at me. "This." I said pulling out my phone from my pocket. "This is my cell phone, it does basically everything a scroll does except open doors and gauge aura which I don't have or need." I replied handing her my phone to look at. "You don't have aura on your world?!" she asked looking at me dumbfounded. "no. And I don't need it. Seeing as how I'm basically a super human alien hybrid." I replied looking at her. "I see. Well, I suppose you will need to train harder to survive." she replied handing me back my phone. "Trust me professor, I fight aliens and super powered uniforms for a living. I can handle Grimm." I replied putting my phone and scroll into my pocket.
"I am sure you can miss matoi. Well anyway, I must take my leave it was a pleasure to meet you, and may I say, welcome to beacon academy and welcome to remnant." she said before taking her leave. "Well, she is a ray of sunshine, isn't she?" I replied sitting down on the bed. "Professor goodwitch is...a unique person to say the least." ozpin said. "Well, I will take my leave and allow you to get accustomed to your new surroundings. Goodnight miss matoi." he said getting up and heading out. "Goodnight professor." I replied as he left. Laying back on my bed and closing my eyes I sighed.
"Well, I guess this it. I'm stuck here." I said out loud. "you're not stuck here ryuko. I'm sure we will find a way out back home." senketsu said. "And where were you while I was talking to Glynda?" I asked opening my eyes and sitting up. "I was resting. I needed time to think over what happened as to why we were brought to this world." senketsu said. "I see. Well, I'm going to bed." I said getting up and closing my door before going into the bathroom and changing into the pajamas that were provided for me. "This world is weird. But I guess its home." I said climbing into bed before rolling over and falling asleep.
