Note: Please stop throwing demisexuals under the ace umbrella. Demisexual is a real thing. It's valid. It's not asexual or anything like that. We need to have more representation of it in the media so people understand. Demisexual means you only feel attraction if you have a close emotional bond with that person. I have never even seen one video on it or have seen one show with demisexual representation in it. Demisexuals exist. They are people. They have a life. Thank you for your time.
From Kai's point of view
That's it. Cole is gone. Nya is blaming herself for it when it's not her fault. Looking back, I don't even remember there being a thrust lever. That must be new.
I'm not going to lie. I feel bad for Nya. She's gone through more than the rest of us, that's for sure. When she was younger, she was molested and raped by our babysitter. God, that's something she's gonna have trauma from that. She probably already does.
Cole was always the type of person to be judgemental without even knowing the person. He told Lloyd that being gay was a phase. He broke our stuff. He said the N-word, the R-word, the F and D slurs, and he did that with honor.
He told me that my bisexuality was a phase.
I never knew that Zane was demisexual. I only found out after I found out that Cole told Zane to pretend to fall for P.I.X.A.L right away so nobody would know. Even though Zane didn't like P.I.X.A.L like that right away because he didn't know her, Cole wanted him to be "normal"
When I got tired of this, Lloyd told me something similar happened to him, but with Harumi. He told me that Cole wanted him to pretend he liked her to cover up the fact that he was gay. When Lloyd protested, Cole threatened to out Lloyd to the whole city on social media.
When I complained about him to Sensei, Sensei shrugged it off and said that what Cole was doing was right and how we should follow in his footsteps.
Not to mention the amount of racist and homophobic bullshit he gave Harumi because she's Asian and lesbian. He blamed her for covid. He called her a virus when she is better than anyone at mask-wearing and distancing, and half the time Cole doesn't even wear his mask properly or distances. One time he shoved her out of bed because of her Asian roots.
Hey guys this is a reminder that Asians are not a virus and never will be. The only thing that is a virus is hate. Thanks!
Also, I would like to remind you that only black people can say the N word. Only members of the LGBTQIA+ community can say the F slur. Only people who have disabilities can say the R word. And only lesbians can say the D slur. Thanks again!
Again, Sensei didn't care. He actually agreed with Cole.
Maybe Cole being gone isn't such a bad thing after all.
I know everyone is torn up, but Zane. Zane just lost P.I.X.A.L. How? She crashed her Samarui mech into a cliff and died as a result. Zane has been really torn up about the issue. The truth is, I have had a crush on Zane for a while now, I just couldn't tell him because of P.I.X.A.L. But now that she is out of the picture, maybe, just maybe, I can make a move.
I don't know why I feel this way about him. Boys are supposed to like girls! Then again, my best friend is gay and his former love interest turned out to be a lesbian.
Zane and I have known each other for years now and we have a close emotional bond. Maybe I should tell him. But so soon after P.I.X.A.L's death?
Suddenly, I hear a knock on my door
"Come in." I say
Then I see Zane
Zane walked in and sat down in a chair next to me
"Zane, buddy, are you ok?" I ask him
He didn't respond
"Zane?" I ask again
This time, Zane looked at me with tears in his eyes
'Kai?" He asked suddenly
"Yes?" I respond back
"Is it bad that I'm glad Cole is gone?" Zane asks in a teary voice
I almost fell out of my chair. Zane was glad too?
"No, no it's not Zane. As a matter of fact, I'm glad as well. He had it coming."
This time it was Zane who almost fell back
"Wait. Really?" He asked in a rising tone that sounded questioning
"Yes. He had it coming."
"I guess. But that's not why I came in here." Zane replies
"Then why did you come in here?"
Zane sighed and took a deep breath
"When P.I.X.A.L. died, she took off because we had just broken up, not because of anything else."
I started in shock. I had no idea they broke up
"Why did you two split?"
"Because I have feelings for someone else."
"Who?"
Zane sat straight up
"Well... He has brown spiky hair and brown eyes. He hates Cole as much as I do. He is one of the only people who know I'm demisexual. And well..."
I stared in shock
"Zane who is it?"
"You. Kai, I have had feelings for you for a while now and I didn't know what to do. I understand if you don't feel that way about me and I hope we can still be friends even if you dont-"
That's all it takes for me to kiss him
After the kiss, I asked him out to a restaurant. When he asked about Skylor, I told him the truth. That we broke up a few months ago because Skylor came out as a lesbian and is now dating Harumi but are still really good friends.
Suddenly, I hear somebody at the door and I see Nya standing there
"You guys are too cute together." She said with a smirk on her face.
We all laugh and in the end, I ended up marrying him. Lloyd ended up marrying another man. Harumi ended up marrying Skylor and both women became the rulers of Ninjago. Cole survived, but he's still mad about the whole damn thing. Wu ended up dying a sad old man with no love, acceptance, or peace in his heart. Oh, and Nya and Jay got married and eventually had kids of their own.
Hey guys sorry for the wait and short chapter but I have something to say.
Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, Asian hate crimes have gone up a significant percent. There have been more mass shootings, including the Atlanta shooting. Asians were always targeted, but now they live in constant fear that they might be harassed and/or assaulted everywhere they go. It is important to recognize that Asians are people who have lives to live. We are all human and bleed the same blood. The only difference is the color of our skin. Yes, I agree China should have told us sooner, but more than half of the Asians in the USA, which is where I live, were born and raised in America. It's not fair to blame every single Asian person for this virus. As somebody who has a friend who is Asian, and as somebody who has witnessed racism before, both on social media and in-person, it is important to spread these kinds of messages.
United we stand, divided we fall. We will never evolve as a world if we continue to be ignorant and hateful toward people simply because they do not look like you. Spread kindness, not hate. Hate never has won and never will. In Disney, has the villain ever won? No. It's because good always trumps evil. Always has, always will.
