Trauma is an emotional response to a terrible event, that event for Weiss Schnee and her family was the reappearance of they once thought dead family member. William Rose. A legend had returned to the world well... Not fully. This.. thing was not William, it was a monster, pure evil encased in a body trying to claw its way to the surface. Trauma, the thing people feared but could not see, could not smell, could not hear but as deadly as a gun. That is the after affects of the reappearance of William Rose.
The Rose/Xiao long household was as quiet as it had been for many years. Normally it was filled with laughter of a happy family but now it was filled with sorrow. Each member of the family was isolated not wanting any human contact but wanted to reflect on the events at Beacon. Some were sad crying from hour to hour everyday not accepting the fact he was alive. Some were furious, they past Trauma being a lie angered them to no end. And lastly the rest felt nothing, the Anger that should fill they body, The sadness that should fill they heart and mind was no longer present.
Weiss Schnee was like that. A feeling of emptiness that could only be healed by a family's love, she didn't want that love she wanted to suffer in silence. The girl believed this was somehow her fault. What if she stoped her farther from going on that mission? What if her stupid eyes didn't go bright in emotional torment and instead helped her farther? These questions and thoughts were stoped dead in they tracks as Raven Branwen walked into the room. Raven to had been emotionally scarred by the events but hid the feelings deep down to be strong for her family like her friend would of been for her.
A secret that was kept between Raven and William was the planned escape attempt of Raven. After her daughter was born Raven was scared of becoming a mother. Luckily William caught her just in time. His argument against her decision was he didn't want Yang to turn out like her mother and neither did Raven. William was right once again right, Raven wanted Yang to be better, needed her to be better and so she stayed always thanking her Brother in law to this very day from stoping her from making a very bad decision. Now her family needed her to give them her strength
Raven knelt down to get face to face with her Niece, she saw a young girl in unmanageable pain. No words were spoke between the two, Raven had never been much of a speaker she was more for action. The young girls eyes began to water and Raven quickly brought her into her chest trying to calm the girl down. As the girls sobs continued one single tear rolled sown Ravens cheek and onto the bedroom floor below.
Cinder fall slowly awakened from her slumber. She could only remember bits and pieces but what she could remember angered her. Her master, her king, the one she had sworn to serve as well as her queen had cut her down. Blindsided her. Cinder tried to figure out her surroundings but she couldn't feel anything. She felt as like she was floating, it was like she was in one of her dreams she had when she was a child. As her eyes opened the only thing she could see was her own reflection, she was no longer her beautiful self she was Grimm and nothing else. Her once golden eyes were blood red, the sooth skin that had a wonderful cameral colour was now bleach white.
Her new eyes widened in shock then returned quickly to a glare as she began to hit and scratch at the glass prison that currently encased her. Punch by punch the glass began to crack, getting bigger and bigger and after one final punch it shattered. Cinder could feel the power that was corsing though her body like a drug she couldn't get enough of it. "Welcome back child" a sinister voice spoke. From the corners of the room two figures announced themselves to the girl. The King and the Queen of Grimm. Though deep coughs Cinder said "What... did you do?"
With a smirk William responded "We made you better, we extracted your weakness and in its place we added strength. Your no longer the weak little girl, you are now strong, you are now Grim, You are now our reaper." Cinder was still greatly confused. She had the Maidens powers in her clutches, so why did his majesty kill her? Why did he give the powers to the red headed girl and to the other side?
"Do not question us girl." Cinders thoughts were interrupted by Salem. "Losing the Maiden powers was a risk however it was necessary risk, They can have they pitifully hope its quite Humorous actually how they think they have a chance because its going to be twice as fun when we kill that hope."
Cinder had more question however "Why me?... I failed the..." Before the ex maiden could continue on Salem silenced the girl by putting a finger to her lips. "Yes you did fail. But in failure you brought a great opportunity which i could never reject. Vale is in chaos trying to rebuild they broken Lives and the rest of the kingdoms are paranoid that this attack could happen to them. However, girl, if you fail again and let other thoughts cloud your mind which are not in line with mine ill make sure my kings axe kills you." As the queen of the Grimm said this both her and William left the room to let Cinder ponder this.
We head back to the island of patch where we can see Summer Rose standing over a grave. Her brothers grave. When he died summer was distraught the person that swore to always protect her, promise got broken. She missed his laugh, his stupid jokes even his overprotectness over her. In her eyes he was perfect and he deserved a long and peaceful life but realty plays a cruel game.
Just like that he was gone however now he was back... well salt of. He was different, his mind seemed to be in tatters and his body was changed and morphed against his will to that monster. Summer always knew that her brother held back, he was always scared he would hurt someone, so he never released the power that was within him not even at Grimm. That is what scares Summer the most. This new William didn't have the same empathy like his previous self if you were a nuisance to him and his plans he had no problem cutting you down.
However the stories that Yang and Ruby had shared about they encounter with William Rose gave some hope to Summer. He let them live. Maybe just maybe her Brother was still they imprisoned in his own body where his torture was watching the Grimm that inhabited his body slaughter hundreds. With one final look at the grave Summer parted ways and began to walk to the house where her children lay broken and scared from the events at Beacon.
When Summer arrived back at the home she saw the rest of her team were standing on the porch and all seemed to be in conversation. "Summer hey, How was it?" Tai asked her while giving her a kiss on the cheek. With a sigh Summer responded "It was like it normally is." Summer then began to walk past the three to go check on the girls. "Sum we need to talk." The wife of Summer rose announced. Summer stoped dead in her tracks. "No we dont, that thing at Beacon did have the same face as my brother ill give you that, but he was not him"
"Dont be naive Summer, You know how powerful she is, the queen can break the strongest of minds. Will is not in control because we all know that he isn't like this the world does not know this however. We need a plan of how to take car..." Qrow responded to his team leader. sharply turning to look at the male Brawnwen so Red eyes met silver. "Dont give me that shit Qrow! I have seen what she can do with my very eyes. I understand the world is scared im scared. Im scared for the world, im scared for my children, my family even myself because i know what Will is capable of. Within a few minutes he could send a deadly storm though out the world killing millions." Her rage filled outburst soon changed to tears suddenly from behind the women a pair of arms encased her it was Raven.
"I know what you are feeling is horrible Sum but we need to be strong for us and the girls. We promise we will get William back, we will save him, because i know he would do the same for any of us." With these words Summer quickly turned around lodged her head in the neck of her wife. Tai soon joined them in the hug trying to help Summer as best they could. Qrow however was starring at the sun set his eyes told his true feelings sadness.
At Salems castle a meeting is taking place to discuss the next steps of they plans. In one of the rooms was a long purple, crystal table. Four people sit at the table one of them is Cinder fall or now known as the Reaper and next to her were Mercury Black and Emerald sustrai. Across from Cinder was Arthur Watts who was a long legged man, he is wearing a business suit and has a striking Moustache. To Cinders right was the crazed Tyrian Callows who is a scorpion fanunus. His long tale gave out a deadly poison which could kill someone within minutes. He sat with his knees up to his chest ready to complete any missions his queen had for him.
Across from the crazed man was Hazel Rainart. Hazel was a massive man with his skin littered with scars he was the strength of this "team". Cinder sits quietly while Mercury and Emerald move from her side. "Yes, yes, please keep your posse in check ." Cinder said nothing in return to the man not wanting to speak directly to something so Pathetic and powerless. However Watts continues on "You hear that, silence" Still Cinder said nothing and Hazel only gave the doctor a slight glance. "Ill half mind to thank the two little girls who caused you to fail" Watts said with a smirk.
"If i were you, id would hunt them down find them and, well, they took your dignity didn't they" Cinder still said nothing as the lunatic cackled at her. "Pathetic. Why are you even..." The sound of the large door that lead to the room interrupted Watts and in walked in Salem and William Rose. Both walk around the table and sat in they thrones at the head of the table. "Watts, do you find suck malignace necessary?" Willaim the gestures all to sit as Watts says "I apologise, ma'am m. Im not particularly fond of failure"
"Then is seen reason for your cruelty to young Cinder. shes become our Reaper, destroyed Beacon tower and most importantly killed dear old Ozpin. So im curious what failures are you referring to?
"Well the lose of the maiden powers, that Nikos girl has the full powers of the Fall maiden and also the girls with the silver eyes" Hazel quickly agreed with the doctor about the eyes. "It is true that the Nikos girl has the maiden powers, however like i said before, Cinder is the key to our victory, She still has her maiden powers as well of a grims. I studied the cell biology of previously maiden and i found out what made they cells so different and when i found it, i told your king to kill Cinder so i could put her mind into a stronger one.
"But your majesty what about the silver ey..." However before the doctor could finish he was grabbed by the throat and hoisted in the air. "You do not question the queen you only obey, her wishes are your wishes. Remember your place Doctor if not ill rip out your throat and feed it to the hounds. Do i make myself clear?" Gasping for air Watts could only answer with a nod. Grimm William released the Doctor from his clutches and answered his question "I will deal with the silver eyed girls myself." As he said this he turned his back to the others who were all shaking in fear except for Salem.
The queen then turned to the Reaper and commanded "You will remain by my side and we will continue your training.(Turns to Watts) Dr Watts, you and Tyrian will take Cinders place and meet with our informant in Mistral.(Finally turning to the last memeber) Hazel, Im sending you to the leader of the white fang. Adam Tanrus has arranged the meeting and continues to prove his loyalty. Ensure that Sienna Khan feels the same.
We now see Ruby Rose flying backwards from the trees, firing Crescent Rose in the direction she came from. A Grim that is chasing the girl moves the trees aside, the Grim is a collection of flying boulders but at the centre has a Grim mask. As Ruby lands she mutters "Bad... landing... strategy." Ruby than leaps to a tree branch and uses her semblance to propel herself past the Grimm. "Lets get that thing of her." Jaune orders his team and he and Ren run to the monster.
"Dont forget about me" The voice of Nora yells. Nora than pulls out magnhild and shoots it into the ground sending herself into the air with a whoop, She lands right next to Ren. "We need to draw its attention away from Ruby!" Ren states to his team. A steam of Rose Petals as well as Ruby flies past them. Ruby then asks for help which Nora and Ren attempt to do. Nora shoots the back of the Grimm while Ren hops on the branches. The Grimm sends attacks towards Ren but he easily evades and begans to run up the Grimms stone arm. He then rises in the air and strikes the Grimm with stormflower it doesn't even leave a mark.
"How about this" Ruby sates as she loads the magazine with electric bolts which encase one of the Grimms arms. In response The Grimm slams his fist into the ground, all is sent flying backwards with Ruby, Nora and Ren landing on their feet. Jaune however tumbles along the floor until he hits a rock between his legs. Jaune then mumbles to himself about not having a weapon. Nora then runs forward, tossing her weapon into the air to get it to transfer into hammer mode. With the momentum she has gavered she jumps in the air and brings down the hammer onto the creatures arm breaking it apart.
Using the other arm the Grimm sends a barrage of rocks at the teenagers which three of them easily dodge, all but one. Jaune once again gets hit in the Crotch. The Grimms armless arm begins to shine a glowing red circle. That same circle spins and turns black as a Grimm arm emerges. The Grimm then sends its new arm into a tree Jaune was leaning against and lifts it from the and the rest take of running until Ruby loads her gun again with new ammo. she fires a flameing projectile which swings around the Grimm arm but to no avail as the arm was not effected only upgraded.
The Grimm continues to chase Jaune swinging the flaming arm at him, luckily Ren is they and one of Stormflower spins though the air and makes a cut onto the Grimms mask. Before any of the four can speak about they next steps a figure flies past them and connects a strike on the Grimm which sends it flying. It is soon revealed that this mystery person was summer Rose. With no Ounce of emotion she takes out her weapons. Two Blades which were tightly wrapped around her forearms with steel chain's which both can convert to separate automatic pistols (Think Blades of chaos from GOW).
Summer then charges at the Grimm and begins to separate it limbs. First the legs, she sent her blades towards the Grimm, so both chains wrapped around a separate leg and she pulled with all her might until the legs began to crack and full apart. Without any second thought she lifts herself up and changes he blades into the pistols and begins to rain fury upon the arms of the Grimm using electric bolts to destroy the arms. However before the Grimm could reassemble its limbs Summer jumped over the changing the ammo of her gun to Flames. Then one shot though the eyes exploding the Grimm. Killing it.
As Summer landed she noticed her daughter who had amazement in her eyes and the others Jaws were on the floor. Exactly what she wanted. Summers smile gained more length as she walked to her daughter and said "Hi my petal, I brought your favourite" She then took out a plastic bag of cookies. Ruby couldn't focus after that.
Ruby is now seen shaking hands with the major of this village that the Grimm had been terrorising for weeks. "That Geist had been plaguing our village for weeks. We were beginning to wonder if we had to relocate" The Major tells the up and coming Huntress. "Well, we are on our way to Mistral. You could always come with us if you don't feel safe." In the background the life pf the village is shown. People buying fresh food from the market, Open balconies looking over the road an horse roamed the streets.
"Ha, i take it you are not from around here. Anima is a large continent. Im afraid our people would not survive the long trek to Mistral, It may be safer in the kingdoms but we prefer our way of life. I just wish we could pay you more." Everyone bows in respect as Ruby, Summer and JNPR head towards the the blacksmith however before that Jaune stats a conversation with Summer Rose. "How is Pyrrha?" He says Shyly. Summer smirks at the boys blush and begins to tease him "What is the boyfriend of the great Pyrrha Nikos worried about his girlfriend?"
Jaune blush deepened as Summer pats his back and continues "She is recovering well Jaune. They is nothing to worry about and she thanks you for the flowers and hopes to see you soon" Soon the embassment turned into a smile as they entered the blacksmiths. "They you go son. Its going to be heavier than what you are used to, but you'll thank me later when you go up against a set of claws"
The new chest piece was it was now a cream white colour with slithers of gold. However before Jaune could finish putting on his new gear he was interrupted by Rubys laughing at his pumpkin Pete hoodie. Even Summer rose let out a few giggles about her daughters behaviour. The Blacksmith soon returns with Jaunes new weapon. It was a sword shealth which the blade in it expands into a sword. "That was some fine metal you brought me, Accents the white quite nicely. Where'd you get it from?'. Jaune smiles at him and responds "My girlfriend"
As Jaune exits the Blacksmiths he asks the back smith one last question about a nearby airship and he says one could be in a close village called Shion village. And so of the group of Summer Rose, Ruby Rose and three quarters of team JNPR went on they travels however not known by them was that they were being watched. The mans red eyes stated daggers at the one called Summer Rose like he was trying to remember something.
Weiss Schnee is seen looking out of the window of her bedroom. Her thoughts stoped suddenly when the family Butler called Klein Sieben says "Pardon the interruption, Miss Schnee, but your mother wishes to see you along with your brother. With a sigh Weiss thanks the Butler, with one fianl glance out of the window she gets up and walks out. Her heels clank across the floor as the door is slams shut
