Maggie leads Elizabth to the carriage room as they quickly eat some sweet meats while leaving. Maggie desfibes exactly what she saw. Lattrice is quiet. Maggie could've sworn it was her imagination but she thought she saw a flash of impatience and jealousy on Lattrice's face. The carriage stops at Hampton court and they get out very quickly. Maggie finds it odd that Latrrice is not choked with fear like she feels, she only could guess how Mary Seymour followed them.

Maggie feels a little oddly comforted after the guards report no one has been found while they still search, but it's safe to go 100 feet away from Hampton court. She goes with Elizabeth and many ladies up to a nearby cove. Lattrice is there too, talking to Elizabeth's cidcle like they're equal status forever. "Hi Maggie!" Elizabeth greets.

"Lattrice was telling us about the hare she caught in one shot," Dudely told her.

"Yeah and the month of the saints feast where we have a holiday is the day so caught hare with one blind shot," Latrice brags, in smirking at Maggie.

By now she was fed up with Elizabeth and Dudely's inflated praises over Latrrice, who tried to show up Maggie in everything Maggie showed interest in. It was as if Latrrice desperately wanted to prove Maggie was a fool and below Latrrice. They were in falconing period with Prince Edward Tudor, the poor boy was in Elizabeth's council and had her ear. If he had to be supposedly marked by the devil.

The only highlight to Maggie's day was falconing with Edward and even impressing Edward. Latrrice could not even match Lattrice's falconing skills or quick reaction. Maggie had leaned a lot about falconing at Sterling Palace during her time as Queen Mary of Scots' lady in waiting. Mary of Scots was a well trained in falconing and many other sports. And as her lady in waiting, Maggie picked up a lot of falconing skills. Maggie had to leave Scottland for England when her mother found a match in England, and join her cousin's ladies i waiting. That match hadn't even lasted and Maggie was still stuck in England. And an insecure typical courtier was here now.

Speaking of said insecure courtier, Latrice was looking visibly upset, subtly eyeing Maggie. Elizabeth's other ladies inn waitings were pampering the fragile girl with a fragile ego, because she couldn't best Maggie in falconing.

The Prince of York, Edward smiled at her as he rode by rode near her. "Quite nice ✨hunting skills✨ Lady Clifford. Where have you leaned such fine men skills? "

Maggie blushed, pleased at the compliment. And the fruit on the sweetmeat was gow Lattrice's face soured even more. The other ladies noticed and gave taken to pulling Latrice, to pamper her ego by asking for her mudnane skills. She can't taste her ow bitter medicine, Maggie thought feeling avenged.

Latrice came back from crying with her ladies after same time and walked in past Prince Edward's horse, trying to divert him from Maggie's Falconing show. Edward's horse bucked a little at the person inn front of him, but Edward had him under complete control. Elizabeth's ladies were talking but they paused as Latrrice run out of the of Edward's horse.

" Competing in falconing against Maggie cant' be that scary," Edward joked.

Maggie tried to hide a smile and Barnaby chuckled. "It must be a true fright to compete Lady Clifford, trained by queen Mary of Scots," Barnaby chucked.
