The scene changes to early morning. This time, it is at a Union Army camp. A messenger rides up to a few others and pulls out a letter before handing it over to one of them.
Courier: "Message for Colonel Chamberlain."
A man takes the letter to a nearby tent and looks inside. There in bed was a man with blonde hair and a gentleman's mustache sleeping soundly. His face look an a lot like—
"Holy Cats! It's Jaune!" Rube said excitedly.
"He looks good with that kind of facial hair." Yang purred.
"It seems he fights for the Union." Weiss observed. "At least they stemmed better equipped for this war."
Kilrain: "Colonel, darling. Rise up, me bucko."
Chamberlain groans and turned toward Kilrain as he looked of the Colonel.
Kilrain: "I'm sorry, darling, but we got a bit of a problem here. Would you like to hear about it? Would you wake up, sir?"
As Chamberlain slowly grew more awake, Kilrain sat down facing the Colonel.
"That's almost like Yang when you wake her up." Ruby piped, leading to Yang staring at her in shock.
"Minus the punches." Weiss teased the blonde.
Kilrain: "We got a whole company coming, sir. This way. I'll give you time to wake up, but we've got quite a problem. Altogether, 120 men are coming. We're to be having them as guests."
Almost immediately, Chamberlain stopped rubbing his face and looked at Kilrain.
Chamberlain: "What?"
Kilrain: "Should be here any minute."
Chamberlain: "Who?"
Kilrain: "Mutineers."
Weiss growled. "Are you serious? Jaune has to care for a hundred and twenty mutineers? Why not put them to work in a mine or something?"
Blake's ears lowered when she heard that, but before she could voice her opinion, Ruby piped up. "What are Mutineers?"
Weiss turned to her friend. "They are people who abandon their posts, Ruby. They don't want to fight anymore."
"What?" Ruby gasped, "But, that'll put the Union closer to another defeat!"
"Hold up!" Yang said, "What do you mean 'closer'?"
Ruby twiddled with her fingers before Blake spoke up. "There was a book on the Civil war in the box. It said that of the one hundred and seventy seven battles fought before Gettysburg, eighty five were Union victories, over the Confederate's fifty seven. The rest are noted as inconclusive."
Weiss and Yang were stunned. All these battles in a span of three years. That was a lot especially given the amount of men in every battle of Gettysburg numbers before the battle said anything.
Blake continued. "That being said, the Army of the Potomac does not have a good record. It had seen six engagements. The Battle of Bull run, The Peninsula campaign, the Northern Virginia Campaign, the Campaigns of Maryland, Chancellorsville, and Fredericksburg."
"Well that doesn't seem like something interesting." Weiss said. "It's obvious the Union is better equipped to fight the Confederates."
Blake tilted her head. "Two of the six campaigns were Union victories."
"WHAT!!!" Yang and Weiss screeched.
Blake nodded. "General Lee was a top General for the U.S Army, the Union, before the war. He was even chosen to lead the Union Army against the Confederates."
"Well why didn't he take it?" Yang asked.
"Virginia was his home state." Ruby spoke. "He didn't want to fight his state."
Yang nodded. She probably would have done the same if she was asked to fight for Vale if their target was Patch.
After a brief silence, Blake started up the movie again.
Kilrain: "Mutineers, Colonel, me lad. Men from the old 2nd Maine which has been disbanded."
Chamberlain: "Mutineers?"
Kilrain: "Yes, sir. You see, what happened was the enlistment papers...on the old 2nd Maine run out. They were sent home, all except these hundred twenty fellows...who foolishly signed three-year papers. Three years, that is. So these poor fellows got one more year to serve. Only they thought they were signing to fight only with the Second Maine...and the Second Maine only. So they...quit. They resigned, you see. 120 men."
"Wow." Yang said. "Just...wow."
Chamberlain rubbed his neck as Kilrain chuckled, before he looked over the Colonel.
Kilrain: "Colonel, are you all right?"
Chamberlain: "Yeah."
Satisfied with the colonel's answer, Kilrain continued.
Kilrain: "The point is, these Maine fellows won't fight no more. Nobody can send them home and nobody knows what to do with them. Until they thought of us…being as we are the only other Maine regiment in the Fifth Corps. So they've been assigned to us."
Chamberlain looked up in surprise as Kilrain opened up the letter.
Kilrain: "Yes, sir. I have a message here from the new commanding general. George Meade, sir. That's right. Our very own general of our very own corps…has been promoted to command of the whole army. The latest, if you keep track of them as they go by."
Kilrain begins to read the contents of the letter.
Kilrain: "The message says they'll be arriving this morning and they are to join us. "And if they refuse to follow orders, please feel free to shoot them.""
"What!" RWBY shrieked.
"Jaune won't do that." Ruby said nervously. "Would he?"
"No of course not." Yang comforted her sister.
Chamberlain looked up.
Chamberlain: "To shoot them?"
Kilrain: "Yes, sir."
Chamberlain: "These Maine men?"
When Kilrain nodded, Chamberlain grabbed the paper to read it himself.
Chamberlain: "'You are hereby authorized to shoot any man who refuses to do his duty.'"
He looked up in disbelief at his friend.
Chamberlain: "Are these all Maine men?"
Kilrain: "Yes, sir. And fine big fellows they are, too."
Chamberlain sighed as he pondered over the letter. After a bit, he looked at Kilrain.
Chamberlain: "Mutiny. I thought that was a word for the Navy."
Kilrain laughed.
RWBY smiled. So even Jaune was against killing the mutineers of the 2nd Maine.
The changes back to the Confederate side, where Lee and Longstreet emerge from the tent.
Lee: "We'll move at sunrise. It's a good time of the day.
As Longstreet began to put on his gloves, Lee stared out into the beautiful sky.
Lee: "I always do enjoy this time, just before the dawn. When all this is over, I shall miss it very much."
Longstreet stopped putting his glove on and stared at Lee.
Longstreet: "Sir?"
Recognizing what he had just said, Lee turned his head back to Longstreet.
Lee: "I didn't mean the fighting."
Longstreet nodded before resuming to put his glove back on. Lee turned his head back to the sky and took a deep breath.
Lee: "It's all in God's hands now."
"So the Confederates are more religious than the Union?" Ruby asked.
Blake looked at her team leader. "It's possible."
Having finished putting his glove back on, Longstreet turned to Lee and saluted.
Longstreet: "Good day, sir."
Lee returned the salute to Longstreet.
Lee: "Good day to you."
Longstreet got up on his horse as Major Sorrel came up behind him.
Sorrel: "General, sir."
He gestured to the tents.
Sorrel: "Should I wake them up, sir? Should I get them waked up and get going?"
Longstreet: "No, Moxley. Let the boys sleep a little longer. They'll need it."
Sorrel: "Yes, sir."
"I can't seem to choose which side is the bad one." Yang said. "It seems that both have a reason to fight."
"They are making both seem human, Yang." Weiss said. "We don't even know what they are fighting over."
Ruby and Blake suddenly found the walls very interesting as the other two returned to the movie.
The scene cuts back to the Union camp as the soldiers get ready for the day. Out of one tent comes out Chamberlain, dressed up and buttoning up his coat with one hand. He watched as a group of Union guards escort the remnants of the 2nd Maine to his tent.
Union Officer: "Prisoners, mark file, left!"
Chamberlain: "How many men do we have now in the 20th Maine?"
Kilrain: "Somewhere around 298 sir, counting the officers."
"By the gods," Blake shook her head. "Less than three hundred men? That's not even company strength."
Chamberlain: "How the heck are we supposed to take care of 120 men?"
As they watched the prisoners come closer, Kilrain turns to Chamberlain with another issue.
Kilrain: "Colonel, it's going to be a hot day today. Seeing as you already been down with the heat, please will you ride the horse that the good Lord provided, instead of marching in the dirty dust?"
Chamberlain scoffs at the request.
Chamberlain: "You walked."
Kilrain chuckled
Kilrain: "Darling, I've been in the Infantry since you was in books. After the first few thousand miles, a man gets limber with his feet."
As he said those last words, another man came walking up to them. He had a more prominent kind of beard, only it was black. His uniform rank showed him as a Lieutenant.
RWBY was shocked.
"That guy looks like Ren!" Ruby screamed.
Just as she said his name, the door blew open to reveal Nora in a frantic state. "I heard Renny's name! Who dare compare another to my Renny."
She turned to the girls who looked at her with bewildered eyes until Ruby felt a hand smack the back of her head.
"You dolt!" Weiss scolded the girl who was clutching her head. "Six inch voices."
Nora lowers her hands. "Oh, hey y'all!" She greeted cheerfully.
Then another person came in. "Nora." Ren groaned. "What did I tell you never to do."
Nora put her hands on her chin, before she snapped her fingers. "Never trust a Vulcan!"
Ren facepalmed. "No Nora, the other thing."
"Never drink Coffee!"
"The other thing."
"Never eat seaweed."
"The other thing."
"Never play poker with the fastest animal."
"I—-what?"
"Nothing"
"Nora," Ren rolled his eyes. "Never bust down a door unless you have reason to believe there's trouble."
"Ooooohhh." Nora replied. Ren turned to Team RWBY, "Though I'd like to hear the reason why Ruby was comparing me to a movie character."
The reaper chuckled nervously.
Later…
After filling the two in on the movie, Nora was currently eating her fill of pancakes while Ren sipped his green tea as they were caught up to speed. Luckily, Pyrrha was with her agent so she wasn't expected back until later that day. After what she pulled on Jaune, Ren and Nora were constantly distancing themselves from her, especially after Russell tried to flirt with Nora.
Things went back for him, so let's leave it at that.
After allowing the two to catch up to where RWBY left off (And stopping Nora from trying to grab movie-Jaune) the six students resumed their movie.
Thomas: "Morning, Lawrence."
The man stopped and looked over Chamberlain.
Thomas: "How are you? You're looking kind of peaked."
Chamberlain: "Darn it, Tom. Don't call me Lawrence."
"That's not your call, Fearless Leader!" Nora said. "If Renny has called you Lawrence, then as you Queen, you are hereby named Lawrence!"
Yang high fives Nora while Ruby leaned over to Weiss. "Is that a thing?"
Weiss shook her head while Ren rolled his eyes.
Thomas smiled sheepishly as Chamberlain finished up with his coat.
Chamberlain: "It doesn't make sense. Hold a gun on a man to get him to fight."
He begins to step toward the group of prisoners. Meanwhile the Guard in charge begins issuing orders.
Union Officer: "Detail, about face."
As the detail turns around, a few begin to defy the officer and begin to sit down. The officer notices and walks toward them.
Union Officer: "Attention, detail!"
Other guards did their best to get the prisoners up on their feet.
Union Guard: "You heard the Captain. Stand at attention!"
The prisoners stayed sitting down as the officer in charge growled.
Union Captain: "Guards, get these men back on their feet!"
"Haven't they suffered enough!" Blake cried. "They lose their Regiment and they get treated like scum?"
"Maybe if they didn't desert, then they wouldn't be in this position." Weiss barked back.
"Enough." Ren stopped them. "We can discuss the 'why' later. Right now, let's see how Jaune reacts to them."
Putting the argument on hold, the two girls returned their attention to the screen.
Having enough of the prisoners, he removed his gloves and walked toward Chamberlain and his group.
Union Officer: "I'm looking for the commanding officer, 20th Maine."
Chamberlain: "You found him."
Kilrain: "That's him, all right."
Union Officer: "You're Chamberlain?"
Chamberlain glared at the Officer.
Chamberlain: "Colonel Chamberlain to you."
"Ouch." Yang giggled. "Looks like Lover-Boy pull the rank card on him."
Immediately everyone stared at her.
"Lover-boy?" Blake repeated.
Yang began to sweat profusely. "Uh, oops."
The Union Officer saluted.
Union Officer: "Captain Brewer, sir. 118th Pennsylvania. If you're the commanding officer, I present you with these prisoners. You're welcome to them. Lord knows, I had to use the bayonet to keep them moving."
Blake hissed. That was no way to treat prisoners. Even Weiss was disappointed at the officer. Despite her earlier assessment of the mutineers, even she had standards on how they should be treated.
Brewer, pulls out a few pieces of paper and hands it to Chamberlain.
Brewer: "You have to sign for them."
Chamberlain takes the paper only to hand it to Thomas.
Chamberlain: "Sign it, Lieutenant."
"Seriously, Jaune?" Ren smiled. "Even in a movie, I'm signing for you."
After signing, Thomas hands the papers back to Brewer, before turning his attention to Chamberlain.
Chamberlain: "You are relieved, Captain."
Not wanting to leave without instilling a bit more fear into the prisoners, Brewer put in one last word.
Brewer: "You are authorized to use whatever force necessary. You want to shoot them...go right ahead. Won't nobody say nothing."
"Wow." Yang snarled, her eyes red. "Can you be any more of a dick."
"LANGUAGE!" Ruby slammed a sweat jar into her lap.
"Ruby," Yang yelped. "That was not a swear!"
"Well Weiss said it is." Ruby said proudly. Weiss looked away.
Having choice, Yang put in one lien in the jar.
Chamberlain showed no emotion as her stared back at the Captain.
Chamberlain: "I said you are relieved, Captain."
You heard Fearless Leader!" Nora said angrily. "Make like a Grimm and leave!"
Brewer saluted one last time and made his way out of the camp. Chamberlain began to walk toward the prisoners.
Chamberlain: "You men can leave now. We won't be needing any guards."
As the guards left, Chamberlain looked to the prisoners, who remained silent. After a moment, Chamberlain spoke.
Chamberlain: "My name is Chamberlain. I'm the Colonel of the 20th Maine."
Looking over the group, he noticed many of them looked skinny.
Chamberlain: "When did you have something to eat?"
One of the prisoners spoke.
Prisoner: "They're trying to break us by not feeding us. We ain't broke yet."
"T-that's barbaric!" Weiss gasped. "How is the Union Army so….so..."
"Best not to think of it now, Weiss." Ren said. "They are now in the care of Jaune, who will assure that they are cared for."
Weiss and Blake nodded, and the movie resumed.
Chamberlain: "They just told me you were coming a little while ago. I'll get the cook going. The meat may be raw, but there's no time to cook. We've got quite a ways to go today. You'll be coming with us, so eat hearty. We'll set you up in those trees. Sergeant Tozier, see to it."
Tozier: "Yes, sir."
The Colonel turned back to the prisoner and smiled warmly.
Chamberlain: "You boys go eat, then I'll come over and hear what you have to say."
RWBYNR smiled. Now that's something Jaune would do. Never a bad bone in the boy's body.
As the Colonel walked away, one of the prisoners stood up.
Prisoner: "Colonel, we've got grievances."
Chamberlain look at him as he gestured to the others.
Prisoner: "The men elected me to talk for them."
Chamberlain nodded and urged the man forward.
Chamberlain: "All right. You come along with me. The rest of you boys go eat. We're going to get moving in a little bit."
As the prisoners got up to go eat, Thomas shook his head.
Thomas: "Gosh, Lawrence."
Chamberlain: "Smile. Don't call me Lawrence."
Team RWBY giggled.
Chamberlain: "Are they moving?"
Thomas: "Yes, sir."
As the man came up to Chamberlain, the colonel held out his hand.
Chamberlain: "What's your name?"
Despite shaking his hand, the man remained defiant.
Prisoner: "I don't feel too kindly, Colonel."
Chamberlain was not offended. The man had no food so he was free to be mad. Chamberlain sat down in his tent.
Chamberlain: "Yes, well, I'm usually not this informal. I just took command of this regiment a few days ago. Somebody ought to welcome you to my... our outfit. They tell me they're holding you fellows because you signed three-year papers. I'm sorry. Would you like some coffee?"
The man shook his head
Chamberlain: "Are you sure?"
The man nodded.
Chamberlain: "Go ahead. Sit down, Mister…"
Man: "Bucklin. Joseph Bucklin."
"Finally, we get a name." Yang declared. Ruby giggled.
"Well let's see what the real problem is with the 2nd." Blake pondered.
Bucklin: "Listen, Colonel. I've been in eleven different engagements. How many have you been in?"
Chamberlain looked up and shook his head.
Chamberlain: "Not that many."
Bucklin: "It ain't the papers. I've done my share. We all have. They are damn good men. Shouldn't be used this way. Look here."
He lifted up his pants to reveal a scar of a musket ball that went through his leg.
"Oh my Oum." Ruby said shocked. "I'd that's what the round looks like in terms of damage, I am scared of what needs to be done medically speaking for such a wound."
Weiss nodded. "Such a shame. The man clearly has seen enough of war. And the Union won't give him up. How bad is this war?"
Bucklin: "It went clean through."
Just then Kilrain showed up.
Kilrain: "We got a courier coming."
Chamberlain nodded to Kilrain before returning his attention back to Bucklin.
Bucklin: "Listen, Colonel. I'm tired. You know what I mean? I'm tired. I've had all this army, all these officers…This damn Hooker, this damn idiot Meade. All of them. The whole bloody, lousy mess of sick-brained, potbellied scareheads. They ain't fit to lead a johnny detail. They ain't fit to pour pee out of a boot with instructions written under the heel.
I'm tired. We're good men and we had our own good flag. These damn idiots used us like we were cows or dogs or worse. We aren't gonna win this war. We can't win with these lame-brained bastards from West Point. These damn gentlemen! These officers!"
Silence rang among the group. Ruby and Yang saw this kind of pain emit off their dad. Losing Raven then Summer put so much on him that he gave up being a huntsman. The thought of losing his children was seen through his eyes even as he smiled for their success. He blamed Ozpin for the pain and suffering and it seems that he will until his dying day.
Meanwhile Kilrain returned.
Kilrain: "The courier, sir."
Chamberlain nodded and got up. He put his hand on Bucklin's shoulder.
Chamberlain: "Don't go away."
Bucklin nodded and Chamberlain moved toward the courier who saluted the Colonel.
Union Courier: "Colonel Chamberlain, sir. Colonel Vincent wishes to inform you the Fifth Corps is moving out. You and the 20th Maine Regiment are instructed to lead. 20th Maine's assigned first position in line. Send out advanced guards and flankers."
"Smart move." Ruby observed. "Makes it harder to be ambushed if you have an alarm system."
Weiss and Blake nodded. "Well of course, Can be an army without a good strategy." Weiss replied.
Chamberlain: "Flankers?"
Union Courier: "Yes, flankers."
Chamberlain: "Right, yes. My compliments to the Colonel."
As the courier left, Chamberlain turned to one of his Captains.
Chamberlain: "Captain Clark, you heard him. Get the regiment up. Sound the assembly. Strike the tents."
The captain nodded and left as Chamberlain turned to Bucklin and gestured for him to go.
Chamberlain: "You better get something to eat. Looks like you could use it. Tell your men I'm coming."
"He better get something to eat fast, or he's not going to have a good day." Yang remarked.
"Yup." Ruby agreed.
Bucklin nodded and went over to his company as Thomas spoke to his brother.
Thomas: "The boys from the Second Maine are being fed, Lawrence."
Chamberlain: "Ye—Don't call me Lawrence."
The group giggled once again.
"Alright, whenever we see Jaune again, we have to call him Lawrence." Yang laughed.
"Indeed." Weiss smiled. "It'll be good payback for his 'snow angel' nickname for me."
Thomas: "Damn it, Lawrence. I'm your brother."
Chamberlain: "Be careful about the name business in front of the men. Because we're brothers, it looks like favoritism."
Thomas: "General Meade got his own son as his aide-de-camp."
Chamberlain: "That's different. Generals can do anything. Nothing quite so much like God on earth as a general on battlefield."
Thomas: "What are you going to do with them? Colonel, sir. You can't shoot them. You never go back to Maine if you do."
Chamberlain: "I know that. I wonder if they do."
"Please don't scare them, Jaune." Ruby begged.
"Yeah, don't be like that Captain butt-head of the 118th." Yang seethed.
As Chamberlain moved toward the boys of the 2nd Maine, one of the cooks waked next to him, his arm around one of the 2nd Maine boys.
Union cook: "Colonel, sir. You know who this man is? Dan Burns, from Orono. I know his daddy, the preacher. Best cusser I ever heard. Knows more fine swear words than any man in Maine."
"Hey we found Yang I. This world!" Ruby giggled. Yang stared at her as everyone else laughed.
Chamberlain nodded and moved on toward the 2nd Maine boys. As he got in front of them he spoke.
Chamberlain: "You men gather around."
As they did, Chamberlain began his speech.
Chamberlain: "I've been talking with Private Bucklin. He's told me about your problem. There's nothing I can do today. We're moving out in a few minutes. We'll be moving all day. I've been ordered to take you men with me. I'm told that…if you don't come, I can shoot you."
The group waited to hear Jaune's next words, hoping he wouldn't go through with it.
Chamberlain: "Well, you know I won't do that. Maybe somebody else will, but I won't. So, that's that."
The room exhaled a huge sigh of relief.
"That's our Fearless Leader." Nora happily declared.
Chamberlain: "Here's the situation. The whole reb army is up that road a ways waiting for us. This is no time for an argument. I tell you, we could surely use you fellows. We're now well below half strength. Whether you fight or not, that's up to you. Whether you come along is…Well, you're coming. You know who we are, why we're here. If you fight alongside us, there's a few things you must know.
This regiment was formed last summer in Maine. There were a thousand of us then. There are less than three hundred of us now."
"By the Gods." Ren stared shocked. They lost that many in a few months?
Chamberlain: "All of us volunteered to fight for the Union, just as you did. Some came mainly because we were bored at home. Thought this looked like it might be fun. Some came because we were ashamed not to. Many of us came because it was the right thing to do."
"Yes." Ruby said. She always heard how wars started because of one man's greed, but to hear that most in the Union came because the war needed to be fought was heartwarming. Not for money or for fame, but to preserve their nation. Maybe heroes truly do exist everywhere.
Chamberlain: "And all of us have seen men die. This is a different kind of army. If you look back through history, you'll see men fighting for pay…for women, for some other kind of loot. They fight for land, power. Because a king leads them, or just because they like killing. We are here for something new. This has not happened much in the history of the world."
Jaune looked over the men and continued.
Chamberlain: "We are an army out to set other men free.
America should be free ground. All of it. Not divided by a line between slave state and free. All the way from here to the Pacific Ocean. No man has to bow. No man born to royalty. Here we judge you by what you do, not by who your father was."
Weiss smiled. She was always under the shadow of her family. She left Beacon to escape it. Listening to Jaune made her feel that despite her fight not being part of the Civil War, she has a chance to be someone she wished to be, not what her father wants her to be.
Chamberlain: "Here you can be something. Here is the place to build a home."
Blake wiped away a few tears. She valued her people above all else. Too long she watches them try to live in peace with humans constantly harassing them. She wished she had a chance to go to America, maybe have the Faunus come too. And maybe, just maybe, they can finally live the life they wished for.
Chamberlain: "But it's not the land. There's always more land. It's the idea that we all have value."
Yang nodded. She always sought to find her mother, and that nearly got her killed. Over time, she felt as if she had no value to her and wanted to forget her entirely. Now looking at her team, she felt like her value was second to none. And listening to Jaune made her feel even more happy to know him.
Chamberlain: "You and me. What we're fighting for, in the end…we're fighting for each other."
That part made Ren and Nora smile. Jaune was always awkward with his words but to hear him give a solid speech on what the Union was fighting for, it made them wish they were there with him. To hell and back.
After a bit of staring off into space, Chamberlain returned to reality and saw the men of the 2nd Maine staring at him. He coughed awkwardly.
Chamberlain: "Sorry. I didn't mean to preach. You go ahead. You talk for a while.
If you choose to join us and want your muskets back, you can have them. Nothing more will be said by anybody, anywhere. If you choose not to join us, you can come along under guard. When this is over, I'll do what I can...to see you get a fair treatment, but for now, we're moving out."
The Colonel look to leave but decided to say one more thing.
Chamberlain: "Gentlemen. I think if we lose this fight...we lose the war. So, if you choose to join us, I'll be personally very grateful."
"When we find Jaune-Jaune, we hold onto him and never let home go!" Nora declared.
"Nora, you make it sound as if he needs to be on a leash." Yang laughed and then stopped when Nora began pondering the words.
"Nora, no. Jaune is not a dog." Ruby pleaded.
"Too late, I'm getting him a leash!" Nora declared much to the group's groaning.
Later Chamberlain gets his horse to the front of the Regiment, right next to Captain Spear, one of his officers.
"That guy looks like that dude on CMEN, Mercury!" Yang pointed out.
"Oh yeah, you're right!" Blake nodded.
Spear: "Colonel, it's a fine morning."
Chamberlain: "Captain Spear, are we ready?"
Spear: "Sir, that we are."
Chamberlain: "Then let's move out."
Spear nodded and unsheathed his saber. Turning back, he shouted to the Regiment.
Spear: "20th Maine….Forward!"
"Forward!" RWBYNR repeated alongside the men.
Spear: "March!"
As the men began moving, the sound of drums and fifes filled the air. As they turned right. The stars and striped was seen in the back held up proudly by the men of the 20th Maine.
The group smiled.
"Now that's a speech." Yang cheered.
"Indeed." Weiss smiled. "Makes me wish that I was there."
"With the way Jaune spoke, I'm incline to believe you." Blake nodded. "I too wish to be there, just to fight for whoever they want free. That's always a fight worth the bloodshed."
"Let us hope that Jaune survives this fight." Ren pointed out. "I rather see him victorious rather than dying on the ground."
"Never doubt Fearless Leader, Renny." Nora stood up. "Jaune-Jaune will win and send those Grey coats packing."
The group giggled at Nora's antics before deciding to refill up on food.
However as Yang opened the door, she met an unusual and frankly an unwelcome sight.
"Hello again."
I apologize if the reactions are off. I've been trying to figure out how to stick to how RWBY would react, though it's been tough.
Anyway. So I allowed Nora and Ren to enter the fray because...they're Nora and Ren. Enough said.
And now Pyrrha makes an entrance. Uh oh.
Back to the story. So this will be the last chapter until next week.
To those who want an update on the B:360 story, we are currently reviewing what we can improve.
(I.E: blame the people who tore though me in the comment section.) I appreciate many of you who stuck with me and even defended my story. And I will continue forward with it. I just want to ensure that there are no massive plot holes that will shatter the foundations of the story.
Anyway. I hope you enjoy this and please leave a review if you can. And let me know if there is anything I should change. (I know some will want me to get Pyrrha back into the side of good, so I better prepare for that.)
Stay safe this weekend, don't do drugs or drink to much and give offerings of pancakes to our Goddess of Thunder and sloths. Praise be.
:)
