As Kakarot was meditating under Whis's instruction, the peaceful sound of birds chirping and whistling wind was interrupted by the sound of what sounded like an explosion. Kakarot got up and looked towards the area the sound came from, to realize it was another battle pod, similar to the one he'd been in when he landed here.

As the battle pod opened up, Raditz stepped out of it to see Kakarot, and smiled lightly, "You look so much like our father Kakarot. Let's see how strong you are." before activating his scouter, only for it to short circuit and break completely, causing Raditz to stutter as he moved backwards, "I-Impossible! You're a low level warrior, how did you get this strong!?"

Kakarot walked up to who he assumed was his older brother and said, "I don't care if you're my brother, you've interrupted my training. Nobody interrupts my training." before charging up a small energy blast and sending it at his brother, completely destroying him instantly.

Meanwhile on Frieza Planet 79...

Nappa tried to communicate with Raditz, only to realize that his scouter must have shorted out, "Vegeta, we have a problem. Raditz's scouter's not responding, I think Kakarot broke it somehow."

Vegeta rolled his eyes, "Nonsense, his scouter is an outdated model, I've been telling him he needs to get a newer one for months now. Still, let's get going. If Raditz is too weak to defeat his own brother, he's of no use to us. But Kakarot might still prove useful. We'll do this ourselves. Based on Raditz's coordinates, we should be there in a year or so."

Nappa nodded and got into his battle pod along with Vegeta getting in his and the two headed off towards Beerus's planet.

Back on Beerus's planet...

Whis saw the fight between Kakarot and his older brother, thinking about how he could see the last two remaining Saiyans coming towards Beerus's planet. He estimated they would be there within a year. He flew over to Kakarot and told him, "Kakarot, I want you to have a bit more of a challenge when the other two Saiyans arrive. For that, you will not train at all for a year, until they arrive. You may still meditate, but nothing more."

Kakarot sighed, but nodded, "If you say so Lord Whis, I won't train for the next year... I just hope I can find some peace in meditating..."

And as the Saiyans Nappa and Vegeta made their way to Beerus's planet, Kakarot followed Whis's instructions and did not train as the year passed.

One year later, Age 762...

Nappa and Vegeta's battle pods had just landed on Beerus's planet, and Whis told Kakarot, "They're here, let's go meet our guests."

Kakarot nodded and flew down to meet the other two Saiyans. He was somewhat unimpressed by the energy he could sense from them and asked Whis, "Lord Whis, are you sure any good will come of fighting these two? They don't seem very strong."

Whis nodded, "The big one will be of no true help to your training, so it would be best to simply take him out. The shorter one however, I see cause in fighting him."

Kakarot nodded, "Yes Lord Whis." before quickly appearing in front of Nappa, and energy blast in his hand.

Nappa was shocked at how fast Kakarot got in front of him and yelled, "What the- Wait, no!" before being overcome by Kakarot's energy blast.

Vegeta was surprised but also pleased that Kakarot had become this strong, "Kakarot, you've shown power that any Saiyan would dream of! Join me and we can take down Frieza!"

Kakarot said nothing at first, before saying, "I'll join you on one condition. You have to defeat me in battle first."

Whis smiled lightly, "Well then Kakarot, you'll be needing this." before using his staff to put Kakarot in a weighted suit. "This will make this battle much more useful for you Kakarot."

Kakarot was shocked at how heavy the suit was, but nodded, dashing at Vegeta and punching him. As he did, Vegeta kicked back and the two of them started going all out, but Vegeta was still unaware of how heavy Kakarot's suit was.

As the two Saiyans continued to fight, Whis healed them every once in a while and restoring their stamina. He noticed that Kakarot was getting stronger, and increased the weight of the suit.

As Kakarot's fighting skill improved, so did Vegeta's, until he asked Whis, "Lord Whis, I think I've held back long enough, may I?"

Whis smiled and nodded, "Yes, you've been fighting for six months straight, I believe you've improved more than enough." before tapping his staff and removing the weighted suit from Kakarot.

Kakarot smirked and said, "Now it's time to unleash my power!" before flooding his body with God Ki, turning into a Super Saiyan God and easily destroying Vegeta. He stretched his arms and said, "That was actually a pretty good fight. Well, at least until the end. It's a shame it had to end like that though, that guy might have been a good training partner. Doubt he'd want to though."

Whis nodded, "Indeed, you've grown very strong. You just might give Lord Beerus a challenge when he wakes up."

Kakarot smiled, "I sure hope so, I'm excited for this fight."

And so, with Whis's training, Kakarot has defeated the last remaining Saiyans and comes one step closer to fighting Lord Beerus. With only 16 years before Beerus wakes up, Kakarot has pushed himself to the breaking point. But only a fool places limits on the strength of a Saiyan. How will their battle fair when Kakarot's training comes to an end and Lord Beerus awakens to face his greatest rival? The battle of the ages is drawing close, but who will win?
