What's up, everyone! This is GKC here bringing you the next chapter to Arc-Vanguard!
In this chapter, we introduce the rest of the You Show group. And before you say anything, this takes place before the first episode of Arc-V. So Yuya doesn't have Pendulum Summon yet.

Chapter 2: You Show Entertainment!
"This… is the Duel School you mentioned?" Tsubasa pondered in surprise.
"Yep, pretty awesome, right?" Yuzu said with a smile.
"It looks like a fun house." The blue-haired teen stated.
"My dad was a big fan of the Pro Duelist who started the school." Yuzu said with a sheepish grin.
"Oh really? Which one?" Tsubasa asked.
Yuzu quickly collected herself and answered, "Yusho Sakaki."
"The Pro Entertainment Duelist!? I didn't know he built a school!" The Royal Paladin Duelist exclaimed.
"Well, he wanted to show kids how much fun Dueling can be and what better way to teach them then through a Duel School?" The pink-haired girl explained with a smile. "Shall we head inside?"
"Oh sure." Tsubasa nodded.
"Good, you're gonna love it because we're one of the only schools to have an ARC System." Yuzu stated.
"ARC System? That thing that Maiami City uses for their Action Duels?" Tsubasa inquired.
"Yeah, ever played one?"
"No, I've heard of it but I've never actually done an Action Duel before."
"Well, you might actually get the chance to try it today."
"Cool. Well then, let's go inside!"
On the inside of the You Show Duel School, Tsubasa could see that the inside definitely matched the outside. It looked like a child's playhouse complete with slides, stepping stones, and even jungle gyms. Though that begged the question…
"Where exactly do you teach your classes?" Tsubasa wondered aloud.
"Hehe, the entire building is a classroom." Yuzu giggled. "No desks, chairs, chalkboard or anything. Any and everything is taught with first-hand experience!"
"First-hand experience? You mean kids learn by Dueling?" Tsubasa looked at Yuzu with an excited gleam in his eyes.
"That's right." Yuzu nodded. "Wanna give it a try?"
"A chance to try Action Duels? How could I refuse?" The blue-haired teen smiled.
"Great! Then follow me!" Yuzu said, before leading the boy to another part of the Duel School.
Tsubasa followed Yuzu deeper into the school, passing by a classroom and even a few rooms that looked like supply closets. He idly wondered if there was a large Dueling Arena inside the school. Of course, that question was answered when they came to the end of a hallway and a pair of large sliding doors parted to reveal the said giant Dueling Arena, leaving Tsubasa in awe and wonder.
"Wow… this looks awesome." He said, awestricken. "So, where's everyone else? Aren't there usually other students here?"
"They should be here. School already ended today. So it's just waiting." Yuzu shrugged. "You wanna try an Action Duel while we're waiting?"
"Sure, I've been looking forward to trying it." Tsubasa replied.
"Alright, head over to the arena. I have to fix up the settings first then get the ARC System running."
"Got it." Tsubasa nodded before she quickly marched off into what the boy could only interpret as a control room. The Royal Paladin Duelist headed to the arena and waited for whatever was supposed to happen. He set his deck into his Duel Disk and by the time he did and inserted his Deck, changing it from standby to active, Yuzu returned from the control room and made her way to the arena.
"Alright, we're all ready to go. I set the Solid Vision to automatically choose a Field for us to play in. Hope you don't mind?" Yuzu asked as she activated her own Duel Disk.
"Not at all. This is my first time playing in an Action Field so, like you said, first-hand experience." Tsubasa replied with a grin.
"Alright then." Yuzu shook her head before activating her Duel Disk. "So without further ado!" She said, before getting into character.
"Duelists locked in battle! Kicking the earth and dancing in the air alongside their monsters! They storm through this field!"
As she started chanting, the ARC System activated as a bright light from the machine that hung from above shot out multiple beams of pink light.
"Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of Dueling!"
Tsubasa listened with rapt attention, preparing himself for the eventual battle.
"ACTION~!" Yuzu said, before snapping her fingers and the surrounding light engulfed them while a fountain of cards suddenly shot into the sky.
"DUEL!"

Yuzu: 4000
The Solid Vision suddenly activated and the area all around them changed to resemble what could only be an endless field of flowers and green hills with even a stream of water running nearby.
"Wow… so this is the ARC System." Tsubasa said with awe.
"Yep, and this is the Field we'll be playing on. Sunshine Hill." Yuzu replied with a giggle.
"Fitting name. Ladies first?" Tsubasa offered as he held up his five cards in his left hand.
Yuzu smiled, "Such a gentleman. A friend of mine could learn a thing from you." She brought up her hand and took a card. "Just so you know, I won't go easy on you."
Tsubasa smirked, "I'd be insulted if you did."
"Good, because I plan to win this Duel." Yuzu said with confidence.
"What a coincidence. So do I." Tsubasa replied with firm resolve.
"Then I'll start us off." Yuzu said as she looked at her hand. She grinned as she took a card and played it, "I summon Opera the Melodious Diva in ATK mode!" Appearing on Yuzu's Field is a small fairy-like girl with rose pink hair, green eyes, and fair skin while dressed in a lilac performance dress with musical notes on the fabric (4/ATK: 2300/DEF: 1000).
"A Level 4 Monster with 2300 ATK!?" Tsubasa exclaimed in shock. "I never heard of such a card!"
"I'm not done yet. Since I have a Melodious monster on my Field, I can Special Summon from my hand Sonata the Melodious Diva!" Yuzu declared, playing another card from her hand. Appearing beside Opera is a beautiful young female fairy with yellow skin, long seafoam green hair with blue glass-like accessories, a turquoise dress with dark blue musical notes, and a single wing on her back (3/ATK: 1200/DEF: 1000).
"Two monsters on the Field, one of which is quite powerful too." Tsubasa smiled as he admired the Melodious fairies. "I gotta say, Yuzu. Your Deck is starting to amaze me. I hope these two aren't just here for their cute looks."
"Of course not." Yuzu smirked. "Sonata's ability activates! Since I Special Summoned her to the Field, via her own effect, all Fairy-Type Monsters I control gain 500 ATK!"
Sonata then started to sing a beautiful melody that felt enchanting before she and Opera began to glow with a blue aura.
Opera's ATK: 2300-2800
Sonata's ATK: 1200-1700
"Well, that's certainly gonna be a problem if I take all that damage." Tsubasa said with a grimace.
"I'll place one card face-down and end my turn." Yuzu said as a reverse card appeared on the Field. Then without warning, Yuzu starts running around the field.
"H-Hey, what are you doing?" Tsubasa asked.
Yuzu smiled, "It's not called an Action Duel for nothing, you know." Suddenly, she spotted what looked like a Duel Monsters card that rested on a hill and managed to snatch it. "This whole Field can be traversed and waiting inside are Action Cards."
"Action Cards?" The blue-haired boy repeated.
"Think of them as extra Spell or Trap cards you can use in a Duel. However, there's a limit to what you can hold."
"Oh, I get it now. It keeps you mobile and on your toes, which makes Action Duels so popular." Tsubasa realized with awe. "Well, I can't be outdone here. Boku no T-an! Draw!" He declared, drawing a card from his Deck. "First, I activate the Spell, Double Summon! This let's me perform two consecutive Normal Summons due to its effect. From my hand, I summon Royal Paladin - Little Sage, Marron and Barcgal!" Appearing on Tsubasa's Field were the aforementioned blonde-haired Spellcaster and the armored wolf that held a dagger in his jaws.
Little Sage, Marron (4/ATK: 1500/DEF: 800)
Barcgal (4/ATK: 1200/DEF: 200)
"Barcgal's effect activates! Since he's been successfully summoned, I can Special Summon from my Deck, Flogal! And I'll put her in DEF Mode." Tsubasa said as a card popped out of his Deck, which he took then played on his Duel Disk. Appearing beside the silver wolf is the familiar pink dog in red armor (2/ATK: 300/DEF: 800).
"So cute!" Yuzu gushed at the small pink dog.
"Marron's effect activates! I draw two cards from my Deck then I have to choose one and return the other to the bottom of my Deck." Tsubasa flared his two cards and looked them over, contemplating which one will help him the most then took the right card, adding it to his Hand before returning the remaining card to his Deck on the bottom. "I set one card face-down and end my turn." He then started running looking for an Action Card to take. "Everyone, follow me!" He called out to his Vanguard units.
"Understood!" Little Sage, Marron replied.
"Yes, my Vanguard!" Flogal barked while Barcgal growled in response.
"Wait, they talk?" Yuzu looked at the Royal Paladins in surprise as she witnessed both Duelist and his monsters running.
"Of course! You think they just stand around and make grunt noises?" Tsubasa responded with a chuckle as he spotted an Action Card tethering on a Cliffside. "Help me out, Barcgal!"
The silver-armored wolf grunted in response as it jumped up and swung the sword in its mouth to cut a piece of the cliffside, letting it and the Action Card fall into Tsubasa's waiting hand.
"Good work, boy." Tsubasa said to Barcgal as he petted his head and, much to his surprise, could actually feel the cool surface of the wolf's armor. "Whoa… I can actually touch you. This… is… AWESOME!"
Yuzu and her monsters watched with equal parts confusion and amusement as Tsubasa moved back and forth between patting or touching his Royal Paladins, much to their respective surprise. "Oh man… this is real! This is very real!"
"Uh, yeah. That's kind of the point of Action Duels. Instead of just Solid Vision, monsters are given actual mass. So… they can actually be touched." Yuzu explained.
Tsubasa paused then slowly turned his head towards Yuzu with a shocked look, "Oh my God… there are so many ways that could be abused."
"Huh? How?" Yuzu raised a brow.
"Three words. Red. Light. District."
Yuzu suddenly started to get pale at the implication and felt the urge to vomit. "Oh my…"
"Okay, uh, let's get back to the Duel. It was your Turn, right?" Tsubasa said, wanting to forget what he brought up after noticing the expression on his opponent's face.
"Y-Yeah! Watashi no ta-n! Draw!" Yuzu said, drawing her next card. "Battle! Opera attacks Marron!"
Opera sucked in some air then released a sonic wave made from her own singing voice, which struck Marron as they released a pained groan before shattering into particles.
Yuzu: 4000
Tsubasa: 2700
"Sorry, Marron." Tsubasa apologized to his fallen monster. "But I promise you didn't leave in vain."
"Sonata attacks Barcgal!" Yuzu declared. The yellow-skinned fairy releases an enchanting melody at the silver-armored wolf as it winced from the sound before shattering into particles.
Yuzu: 4000
Tsubasa: 2200
"Ugh, not yet…" Tsubasa said to himself after watching another of his Royal Paladins be destroyed.
"I end my turn."
"Boku no ta-n!" Tsubasa said, drawing his next card. "I'll play the Action Card I picked up! Energy Biscuits! I gain back 500 Life Points!"
"Sorry, I counter that with my own Action Card, No Action!" Yuzu declared, playing her Action Card.
"Aw man…" Tsubasa groaned before grinning. "But that's okay, I can come back from this."
"From where I'm standing, not really. You only have one monster on your Field and it's not as strong as mine." Yuzu pointed out.
"Hey, Flogal may not be strong but she's still a valuable member of my team. All the Royal Paladins are. That's why… I believe in them." Tsubasa stated. "Besides, the fun has only just begun!"
Yuzu gasped since that sounded exactly like her childhood friend's catchphrase, "Where did you-"
She was cut off when Tsubasa took a card from his hand. "I summon High Dog Breeder, Akane!" He declared after playing the card. Appearing on the Field is the familiar red-haired young woman in the military school uniform and wielding a whip (4/ATK: 1500/DEF: 1200). "And I'm sure you remember her special effect."
"Uh… yeah…" Yuzu trailed off.
"Yuzu? Oi, Yuzu!"
"H-Huh?!"
Tsubasa looked at the pink-haired girl in concern, "You alright? You were looking pretty out of it."
"I-I'm fine, really!"
"You sure?" Tsubasa asked as he looked at Akane, who looked back at her Vanguard and shrugged. "Well… if you're sure." He rubbed the back of his head and continued. "Akane's effect activates. I Special Summon a Beast-Type "Royal Paladin" Monster from my Deck in DEF Mode. Akane, if you would?"
The dog breeder nodded as she cracked her whip then brought two fingers to her lips and whistled loudly.
Popping out of Tsubasa's Deck and landing on his Duel Disk, a blue light emerged from the card and out came a robotic wolf-like hound with periwinkle armor that had a magenta gemstone on its torso, yellow eyes, a long silver mane and tail, and razor-sharp teeth. "Say hello to one of my new monsters! Royal Paladin - Pongal!" Tsubasa declared as Pongal landed beside Akane (3/ATK: 900/DEF: 500).
"Okay, that's good and all but what could he possibly do?" Yuzu asked.
Tsubasa smirked, "I'm glad you asked because he's not just a normal monster. He's a Tuner Monster." He brought up a card. "But first, I need some additional reinforcements. So I activate the Spell Card, Rear Guard Call! And by selecting a monster with a certain number of Level stars, I can Special Summon two monsters with the same or a lower Level. I choose Akane. Which means I can now Special Summon two Level 4 or below Monsters. I choose my Royal Paladin - Future Knight, Llew and Flash Shield, Iseult!"
The first to appear was a young man with messy blonde hair and blue eyes while having a band-aid like bandage on his nose, while wearing futuristic knight armor. Beside him was his companion, which was a red robotic dog (3/ATK: 1000/DEF: 400).
The last to appear was a tan skinned woman with green eyes having short white hair, with long side bangs on both sides of her head, wearing a light blue head crest. Her choice of attire was a white and navy blue corset, short navy blue shorts, purple stockings, and light blue leg armor. Her arms were covered by huge light blue gauntlets with a huge shield attached to her right gauntlet (4/ATK: 0/DEF: 2000).
With his Field completely full, Tsubasa continued his play. "Next, I activate Llew's effect. I can add 1 "Blaster Blade" card from my Deck to my Hand whenever he's Normal or Special Summoned." A card pops out from his Deck, which he took and held up to show Yuzu, the card revealed to be Blaster Blade. "Then I have to shuffle." The auto-shuffler rapidly reassembled Tsubasa's Deck.
"Okay, but that still doesn't explain why you have that… Tuner Monster, you called it?" Yuzu inquired.
"Because I was waiting for additional help. Iseult, Akane, are you two ready?" Tsubasa asked the female Royal Paladins with a grin. Both of them looked back at their Vanguard and nodded, smiling right back at him. "Then let's do this! I Tune my Level 4 Akane and Iseult with my Level 3 Pongal!"
Pongal's eyes flared before he released a mechanical howl before turning into three motes of light that slowly changed into three green rings known as Synchro Gates. Akane and Iseult leapt into the air and turned into orange outlines of themselves, each leaving behind four stars. Combining into eight, the stars lined up in the tunnel of rings.
"Beyond the veil of the United Sanctuary, the divine dragon that guards her people shall descend from the Heavens! Synchro Summon! Grace us with your eternal light, Soul Saver Dragon!"
"S-Synchro Summon?!" Yuzu gawked as a beam of light shot out of both sides of the ring tunnel.
From out of the light came a large humanoid dragon with an entirely white body that glowed with a heavenly light with blue armor adorned on its head, arms, torso, legs, and wings. A pair of red eyes gleamed from the dragon's head. The only possible way to tell its gender were the… *ahem* mounds it had on its chest (11/ATK: 4500/DEF: 0).
"No way! 4500 ATK?! And a Level 11?!" Yuzu gawked. "T-That's unheard of!"
"It's about to get worse. Since Pongal was used to Synchro Summon a Dragon-Type Synchro Monster, that card gains an additional 1000 ATK." Tsubasa informed his opponent.
"Nani!?" Yuzu exclaimed in shock as she watched Soul Saver Dragon surrounded by a white aura, which raised its ATK.
Royal Paladin - Soul Saver Dragon (ATK: 4500-5500)
"Battle! Soul Saver Dragon attacks Sonata the Melodious Diva!" Tsubasa ordered.
"That won't stop me! As long as I can get an Action Card…" Yuzu trailed as she took off running, her monsters following behind.
"Soul Saver Dragon's effect! By Banishing five Royal Paladin monsters from my Graveyard then choosing three or less monsters on my Field, Soul Saver Dragon gains the chosen monsters' ATK until the Damage Step." Tsubasa said as five cards popped out. "I banish Marron, Barcgal, Akane, Iseult, and Pongal. Then I choose Llew and Flogal as my chosen monsters. Soul Saver Dragon's ATK is raised by another 1300!"
Royal Paladin - Soul Saver Dragon (ATK: 5500-6800)
"Oh no!" Yuzu panicked as she now grabbed Sonata by the waist, much to the Diva's surprise, hoisted her over her shoulders and made a run for it.
"It's no use running, Yuzu. You can't stop this attack. Soul Saver Dragon…" Tsubasa said, looking up at his Synchro Monster, which looked down at him. "...use Sanctuary's Light."
Soul Saver Dragon nodded then brought her palms together, focusing an orb of pure light as it glowed and expanded. Then with a small movement, a beam of pure light shot towards Yuzu, who continued to run with her monster on her shoulders.
"Soul Saver Dragon's additional effect. When she is successfully summoned this Turn, my opponent cannot activate any card effects until my End Phase." Tsubasa said.
"Crap!"
"Soul Saver Dragon, continue your attack! Holy Charging Roar!" Tsubasa exclaimed as the beam of light started to shape itself into a dragon that released a loud roar before striking Yuzu's Sonata as well as the pink-haired girl.
"KYAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" Yuzu screamed as she fell over and Sonata was destroyed.
Yuzu: 0
Tsubasa: 2200
"And that's the end of the game." Tsubasa said as the Action Field slowly started to disappear. He looked up at his Synchro Monster and smiled, "Thank you, Soul Saver Dragon."
Even though the dragon seemed incapable of smiling, Tsubasa could tell that the dragon was happy to help him before she disappeared into particles along with the other Royal Paladins.
"Ughhhhhhhhh…" Yuzu groaned as she was flat on her face.
"You okay, Yuzu?" Tsubasa asked, approaching the defeated girl.
"I'm fine…" Yuzu groaned again as she slowly sat up. She then saw a hand extended out to her, prompting her to look up at a smiling Tsubasa.
"Here." He offered.
Yuzu smiled and took the offered limb, letting Tsubasa lift her back up. "Thanks. I was really surprised though. I've never heard or seen Synchro Summoning before."
"Huh? That's weird. Everyone from my old home knew Synchro Summon. Well, that and the other methods. Do you… only know Advanced Summon?" Tsubasa pondered.
"Uh… yeah." Yuzu admitted sheepishly.
"I guess that would explain why you've never seen or heard Synchro Summoning before." Tsubasa sighed.
"I guess so." Yuzu giggled.
"Oh, Yuzu? You're here? I didn't expect to see you until later." A voice called out.
They turned to see a young teenage boy with crimson eyes, and dual-colored green and crimson hair of average length sticking out in downwards pointing spikes all around his head with one short upwards pointing spike of green hair. He wears his good-luck charm pendant on a simple string around his neck, and a buckled choker, and a pair of golden goggles with orange lenses on his forehead, with a blue star obscuring the right lens. His attire was a simple orange t-shirt with a thick, silver-buckled brown belt over it, green pants with what appear to be "Deck pockets" on each leg, and magenta shoes, as well as crimson wristbands. He also wears his gold and red lined white school jacket over his shoulders like a cape.
"Tomato?" Tsubasa blinked in confusion when he stared at the boy's hair.
"Oh, Yuya," Yuzu said with surprise written on her face. "Sorry, I was caught up showing my new friend here about Action Duels."
"Huh? Him?" Yuya asked, looking at Tsubasa.
"Hi, name's Tsubasa Sendou. Nice to meet ya." He greeted the tomato-haired boy with a wave.
"Nice to meet you too. I'm Yuya Sakaki." Yuya said to Tsubasa with a grin.
"Ne, ne, did you know? Tsubasa here is actually a descendant of the Aichi Sendou!" Yuzu gushed.
"Who?" Yuya looked at his childhood friend in confusion. "Yuzu, you know I don't look up boy bands."
*BONK!*
"Ow!"
"You idiot! I'm saying that Tsubasa is Aichi Sendou's descendant!" Yuzu snapped holding up a smoked fist before whacking Yuya on the head. "You know, the greatest Cardfighter ever known? Team leader of Q4?"
"Q4? Oh! You mean that team from the Vanguard game?! You're that guy's descendant?!" Yuya exclaimed, pointing at Tsubasa.
"Yeah, that's me." Tsubasa nodded.
"You know, now that I think about it. You kinda look like that Aichi person." Yuya said, looking closely at the blue-haired teen's face.
"I mean… I am related to him…" Tsubasa sweat dropped.
"Well, I know that. It's just that some people don't really have all the things from their parents. Their, uh… what's the word?" Yuya tried to think.
"DNA?" Yuzu offered with a dry look.
"Yeah! That's the word!"
"With this blue hair, ahoge, and my Blaster Blade." Tsubasa said, quickly showing the card. "I'm the real deal."
Yuya looked at the card in sheer awe, "So this is the legendary Blaster Blade. It looks so cool…"
"Thanks." Tsubasa said before he blinked when he remembered Yuya's surname. "Pardon the question but you wouldn't happen to be related to Yusho Sakaki, would you?"
"Yeah, he's my father."
"Your father?!" Tsubasa gasped in surprise.
"Yeah, he built this school, you know?" Yuya said with a fond smile.
"I know about that. I also heard he disappeared. Do you… have any idea why that happened?"
"Honestly, no." Yuya sighed, looking down. "I've been trying to look for him since then, but nothing's turned up."
"I see. I'm sorry." Tsubasa apologized. "But… if you need anything, just let me know."
"Huh? Really? But we barely know each other." Yuya said.
Tsubasa smiled, "Well, it's like my ancestor once said. A stranger is just a friend waiting to be helped."
Yuya looked at the blue-haired teen in surprise before he grinned, "You're right. So, from here on out, we're friends!"
"Count on it." Tsubasa chuckled before noticing the red Duel Disk on Yuya's arm. "You're a Duelist too?"
"You bet!" The tomato-haired boy noticed Tsubasa's Duel Disk. "That's an older model of Duel Disk. Those are pretty rare."
"Yeah, I've been taking care of it. As long as it still functions and lets me duel, then who cares about the newer models?" Tsubasa shrugged.
"I can respect that." Yuya said with a nod before smirking, "Hey? How about a Duel?"
"Eh? For real?" Tsubasa pondered.
"Sure! It'd be great to Duel against a Deck of cards that came from another game." Yuya said with a big toothy grin on his face. "So let's-"
*WHACK*
Yuya was promptly knocked to the ground after Yuzu whacked him on the head with a paper fan… that she seemed to magically pull out of nowhere.
"Yuya, don't ask someone to Duel when they just finished a recent one!" Yuzu scolded her childhood friend.
"Did you have to hit me though?" Yuya groaned, rubbing his aching head.
"Easy, Yuzu. Besides, I really don't mind." Tsubasa said.
"Eh? You sure?" Yuzu asked.
"Yeah, definitely. Besides, I'd like to see an Entertainment Duel anyway."
Yuya grinned then kicked himself up into a handspring before landing on his feet. "Then this will be fun. Now we just need an Action Field!"
"Leave that to me, Yuya!" A loud masculine voice shouted over the built-in intercom.
"Who's that?" Tsubasa pondered.
"Dad?" Yuzu said in bewilderment.
"Dad?" Tsubasa raised an eyebrow, before looking at the pink-haired girl. "Your dad works here?"
"He's actually the coach and principal of the school." Yuzu explained.
"Oh… well, I better behave then…" Tsubasa chuckled jokingly and sheepishly.
"Hey, my dad isn't that bad! And what's that supposed to mean?!" Yuzu cried out with a comical blush on his face.
"Nothing!" Tsubasa quickly exclaimed. "Nothing at all!"
"Do you want me to whack you too?!" She asked, holding the harisen up, as her hands shook, ready to take a whack at her new friend.
"O-oi! You don't need violence!" Tsubasa cried out. "Can't we all just get along?" He offered a weak grin as he pleaded with the younger girl not to hit him.
"Sorry buddy, once Yuzu gets like that, she won't stop til she hits you." Yuya said, placing a hand on his shoulder. "So, you might as well accept your fate."
"Why do you have to be so calm about it!?" Tsubasa comically cried out.
"Because I've been hit by her… so many times… so many painful times."
"Ahhh…"
"So I'll be sure to write your eulogy."
"Oi, Yuya!"
"Tsu~ ba~ sa~" Yuzu sang out creepily.
"And… it starts." Yuya said, before stepping back and away from Tsubasa.
The blue-haired boy froze in sheer terror as he stared at Yuzu along with the terrifying aura that surrounded her along with glowing red eyes. "Have mercy…" He whimpered.

Meanwhile, in the Leo Corporation, a command center dedicated to analyzing different energy levels from Summoning Methods had recently scored what could only be the find of the century.
"Massive Synchro Summon readings detected!" An analyst reported.
Dark eyes gleamed behind a pair of glasses, "Do we have the location? The name of the card and the Duelist?"
"Hold on..." Another analyst said as they looked at their screen before reporting. "Location is at the You Show Duel School. The name of the card is Royal Paladin - Soul Saver Dragon. Identity of the Duelist is... Tsubasa Sendou."
The owner of the glasses narrowed their eyes, "A card with such a high reading... I might have found myself the perfect weapon to use for my Lancers."
In a dimension completely different from Earth, a meeting was taking place between many different creatures and warriors.
"You cannot be serious! We're allies, are we not?!" A golden knight exclaimed.
"I made no mention of being allies. We're simply acquaintances. Our task to fight threats from the shadows." A knight clad in black armor coldly remarked.
"Regardless, we are still part of the same homeland. Surely, you can understand that divided, we cannot prevail against the coming threat." A knight in white armor pointed out.
"In the past, that had been true. But the days of our alliance have long since passed. The same can be said for those that we called our Vanguards." The black knight stated. "You cannot believe that the present situation requires our assistance."
"It is true that those we once called Vanguards have long since passed on Earth but we are still warriors of Cray. We have a duty to defend not only our home but also the home of our Vanguards." The white knight said.
"Hmph, foolishness. It seems even after many years, you're still the same short-sighted fool... Blaster Blade." The dark knight coldly remarked.
The white knight, Blaster Blade, narrowed his aqua blue eyes, "And you're still the same arrogant twit... Blaster Dark."
A/N: Yeouch… that's gonna leave a mark. Well, that's the end of the chapter and the near start of Arc-V's storyline.
I hope the Duel was to your satisfaction for the moment for more Duels will come and even some notable Vanguard units will appear.
In some chapters, I'll be asking if I should skip the other characters' Duels like Yuya's Duel that leads to him getting Pendulum Summon or even the Junior Youth Tournament matches.
