A/N:Okay time for chapter 2 of this fanfic and yes I decided to make Blisk an antagonist so now I kind of just murdered apex legends sorry about that... um BYE
"Blisk!"Owen shouted while taking a step forward in his titan "Leave the locals out of this!"
"Oh hey it's the kiddo playing pretend for the militia." Blisk said turning around "And also I smacked him because I asked him for a simple piece of info and refused to tell me so yeah anyways enough with chit chat."
"I know you fight for the highest bidder we don't have to fight."
"Well it just so happens that along with my contract to protect the ark General Marder also told me he'd pay me even more if I also killed you so come at me already."
Upon hearing this his first instinct was to draw the ronin broadsword on his back however if Blisk was asking him to come at him that's probably what he wanted him to to do. So instead he pulled the XO-16 from his back and started strafing around Blisk while firing the giant chaingun. In response to this Blisk revved up his predator cannon and started firing at which point Owen remembered that he was probably in another reality and should try to conserve ammo and that legion was one of the most heavily armored titans there was meaning, unless he could get a level 3 upgrade core, he wouldn't outlast Blisk in a prolonged firefight. So he took cover in the trees reloaded then drew the ronin broadsword Blisk had stopped firing but he could hear that the predator cannon was still revved up but hopefully the clip was almost empty otherwise the shields would have to take the hit.
He was about to dash out towards Blisk when "DAD!"
he looked over to see Ruby holding a giant scythe that would be physically impossible for anyone to use effectively. "RUBY NO!" but it was too late in what looked like a burst of rose petals she struck the giant legion class titan with the giant scythe and appeared behind Blisk.
"Nice trick girl but it didn't do much to my titans shields." upon saying this he turned around and hit Ruby with the predator cannon sending her flying back into the forest around the house. Owen took advantage of this distraction and charged out of cover and hit Blisk in the back with the giant sword twice before Blisk turned around and hit him with the predator cannon much like what he had done to Ruby. However Owen brought the sword up and parried the attack and wasn't knocked back as much as Blisk would have liked.
By this time Owen's Dash had recharged and he dashed towards Blisk and started to slash at him. He got 3 hits off before he saw Blisk's shields go down. After this he slashed at Blisk again finally dealing damage to his hull. However Blisk then realized that at the moment he was fighting a losing battle and couldn't beat Owen like this and started to retreat. Owen saw this and decided to let him go because he decided that at the moment he should probably go and check on the others.
He got out of XY and went over to check if Ruby was okay but saw her walking out of the trees looking completely unscathed and not as though she had just been hit into multiple trees by a giant minigun.
"Um why are you not on the ground either unconscious or screaming in pain due to the fact that you probably broke every bone in your body?" Owen asked wondering if in this supposed other reality that everyone could just shrug off being hit by a giant robot that could turn the average human into red paste with a single punch.
"What do you mean I didn't get hurt I just used my aura to shield myself."
"Whats aura?" she didn't get a chance to answer as at that moment what looked to be a form of troop transport, albeit and incredibly primitive one ,flew over and landed in front of them.
"Friends of yours?" Owen asked
"Nope." Qrow said as he and Yang finally arrived "Friends of mine." As he said this a man with white hair, glasses, a dark green shirt and pants along with a cane and a cup of something Owen wasn't exactly sure, along with a woman who had blonde hair and whose outfit looked like basically your average teacher except for the riding crop and cape.
"And you are?" Owen asked the new arrivals
"Greetings I am Professor Ozpin the headmaster of beacon academy and this my assistant Glynda Goodwitch." The man now known as Ozpin stated "You wouldn't happen to be the thing that fell from the sky would you?"
"Incorrect my pilot was not the thing that you saw in all likelihood you saw me, my pilot however was inside of me otherwise he would have died." XY said walking over
"Oz what are you doing here?" Qrow asked him well I sent you as an advance scout because I knew that you could get here before me and possibly dismantle any threats including the thing that fell from the sky if it turned out to be dangerous."
"I highly doubt that Qrow would have been able to beat me."
"Oh really Mr..."
"Owen Robert."
"Mr. Robert if you truly hold yourself in such a high regard then why don't we test that shall we?" Ozpin said taking a sip from his mug.
"What did you have in mind?"
"Well why don't you take the entrance exam for beacon academy my combat school."
"depends whats in it for me?"
"it seems clear that you're not from around here so how about a safe haven, food to eat, a place to sleep and education on our world."
"Hmm what do you think XY?"
"I believe that we should accept his offer seeing as we are stuck on an unknown planet in possibly another reality with no way to contact the militia or any friendly mercenary's a home base along with education could be useful."
"Alright I accept."
"Very well then let's go."
"What about XY?"
we can attach it to the bottom of the bullhead."
"First of all it's a she secondly are you sure it can lift her she's literally a 40 ton walking death machine."
"Trust me bullheads were designed to lift well over 60 tons."
"Alright let's go then.
A/N: so this is chapter 2 and now we can get to the good parts also when I said modified to use a ronin broadsword I meant that XY could also use a sword core along with upgrade core but it only increases the percentage when attacking with the sword. Um...
