Hi everyone! First of all, my apologies for the lack of updates! I've been working on a few slexie one shots from 17x10 that may be coming your way :) Speaking of 17x10, BEST EPISODE. The scene of the two of them dancing and holding hands on the beach singlehandedly saved Grey's Anatomy, and my 2021. Eric's comment about how Mark would find Lexie, no matter what warmed my heart to a new extent. I'm so so glad they got their confirmed heaven endgame, and it was so nice to have some much happier closure to my favorites 3 Okay, wow, this A/N is so long, but please enjoy Chapter 3 of Unbroken Hearts! Lexie immediately spotted Cristina, Owen, Alex, and some random girl who she didn't recognize downstairs. Then she recognized Richard, Bailey, who she thought was Ben, Teddy, Henry, April, and Jackson.

"Lexie, hey!" April said, giving her a hug.

"Hi April!" Lexie said, surprised by her hug. Lexie had never been a huge fan of April, and made her dislike quite obvious.

"Lexipedia, it's good to see you." Alex said, hugging her too.

"Three." Cristina said, and Jackson nodded at her. Lexie was pretty positive he had a crush on her, right before she left, so it was safe to say they were not on perfect terms.

"Lexie, this is my girlfriend, Jo Wilson." Alex said, as Lexie shook her hand.

"It's really good to see all of you guys! I missed you all." Lexie announced, and everyone began to start talking.

Some time eventually passes, and having heard all about the new Seattle Grace gossip, like how Jackson and April were together, more about this Alex and Jo girl, whatever the hell was going on with Cristina and Owen, and how their respective specialities were all doing, Lexie almost regretted leaving Seattle Grace.

But, the door opened and none other than Mark walked in, with some perky red-head next to him, with Callie and Arizona trailing right behind him. Lexie's head turned immediately as she heard his voice.

Zola ran running to him, as he caught her in his arms.

"Uncle Mark!!" Zola said, wrapping her arms around him.

"Zozo!" Mark said, putting her down.

The little kid, who Lexie was assuming was his kid, Sofia, went running off with Zola.

God, did she look like Mark. And Mark looked good. Like really good. It would've been so much easier if he got fat, or lost his hair.

That would make this so much easier. But no, he had to somehow look hotter than the last time she had seen him.

Lexie felt her heart soar, just by looking at him.

"Make it more obvious you're making heart eyes at him." Cristina whispered into Lexie's ear, and Lexie tried and failed to play it off.

He obviously didn't know she was going to be here, just like how he didn't know she was going to be here.

Mark immediately went over by Derek, and Lexie could swear that the two of them made eye contact for the first time in two years.

"Am I hallucinating things or is Lexie fucking Grey here?" Mark said to Derek, as he helped him carry all of the coats upstairs.

"It's her goddaughters birthday party, of course she's here."

"Were you gonna tell me about this, or was I supposed to just not know?" Mark whisper screamed at Derek, as the two of them walked back to the main floor, where everyone else was.

"You wouldn't come if you knew she was here."

"Damn straight." Mark said to Derek, as he went over by Callie.

Julia and Arizona were talking to each other, and Callie seemed to notice her too.

"Did you know about her, being here tonight?"

"You think I would come, if I knew?"

"Well, have the two of you talked since then?"

"Nope. Our last conversation was me telling her about Sofia. I don't know what Derek or Meredith has told her. God, this is bad."

"Well, does Julia know about the two of you and your like marathon long history?"

"Should I have been like Julia, do you want to hear about me and my ex- girlfriend, the person who I really thought was the love of my life until she decided to move across the country?"

"Well, when you put it like that you make me sound stupid. Remember, you're happy now. We love Julia. Sofia loves Julia. Don't you want Sofia to be happy?" Callie says, and with this Arizona and Julia join the two of them.

"I need alcohol, can I get any of you guys anything to drink?" Mark said, and had requests for wine.

Walking into the kitchen, Mark certainly wasn't expecting her to be standing there.

also, I'm just wondering, but was anybody else completely shocked mark showed up in 17x10?? i was SO surprised to see him, I really didn't think he was coming back!!
