Authors notes: And heres chapter 3 of Rise of the Snow Queen folks, featuring our favourite Altean Personal aid and advisor, Coran Coran the Gorgeous man!
Now the majority of this chapter takes place during chapter 2. Whilst the Paladins and Elsa handle the crisis on Crydor. Coran is on a mission of his own, to find out whats happened in Arendelle during the Paladins absence.

:Coran's Adventure:
The Castle of lions had just arrived at the space quadrant where the dimensional rip that lead the Paladins to Arendelle lay in response to a distress signal by their trusted advisor and aid Coran. They found the pod to be frozen floating lifeless in space. In the hanger area The Blue lion had just recovered the pod and brought it inside.
"Pidge can you get it open?" Kieth asked.
"Hold on I'll see if I can override the cockpit doors." Pidge then said using her laptop to hack the pod good news she had succeeded. "Got it." Pidge cheered, bad news the cockpit opened to show it was iced on the inside of the cockpit window.
"Wow ice mould." Hunk said impressed. Allura then took out her bayard and formed her weapon and sliced at it causing the ice to crumble. When the mist cleared they found something pop out in the mist it was a certain snowman.
"Oh hey guys."
"OLAF!" Cried the Paladins and Elsa.
"Paladins! Elsa!" Olaf cried jumping and landed on Kieth giving him a hug much to his dismay. Though he found the snowman annoying he had grown a little fond of him but not too much.
"Olaf but how did?" Elsa said overjoyed to see her friend.
"Elsa your okay!" Olaf said hugging her. Suddenly they heard a banging coming from the rear of the pod Hunk used his Bayard Cannon to melt the ice surrounding the door and when it was thawed the door dropped and rolling out of the passenger cabin was a certain reindeer who shook his head after landing on his bottom.
"SVEN!" Lance exclaimed the reindeer instantly recognised the blue clad Paladin and jumped on him and licked him like a dog showing affection to its owner. "Hey hey easy Sven it's good to see you too." Lance laughed.
"Okay but where's." Just as Pidge said that the mist cleared to reveal a nearly frozen Coran at the controls of the Pod shivering like crazy.
"Coran?" Everyone said.
"Ssss, so…c..c..cold." Coran shivered seeing icicles hanging off his moustache.
Later in the Castle Rec room:
The Paladins, Elsa, Sven and Olaf now stood in the Castle rec room with Coran sitting crosslegged on the couch wrapped up in blankets in his bed robes and drinking some hot chocolate compliments of Hunk. Coran took a sip of the hot chocolate and was feeling warmer already.
"Ah, that's the ticket this hot chocolate stuff is amazing." Coran said.
"Good thing we have a fresh supply of milk from Kalteneker." Hunk said.
"Yeah and you said having a cow wouldn't be much help." Lance said smugly to everyone else. Allura soon arrived with a bowl of Altean food goop.
"Here you go Sven." She said placing it near Sven who was a little questionable about getting food that wasn't carrots.
"I know it's not carrots but don't worry it's very edible." Allura assured Sven took a sniff then a small taste of it and Sven's taste buds started to enjoy it and so he kept eating.
"Wow food goop is good for reindeers who knew?" Pidge said surprising everyone else but Elsa decided to get straight to the point.
"Coran I know you've been through a lot but what happened to you, where's Anna and Kristof aren't they with you?" She asked hastily.
"Okay okay calm down Elsa." Coran said and then sneezed holding up his handkerchief. "Elsa does have a point how'd you end up looking like you'd crashed into an ice cooler?" Lance asked.
"Well its a rather long and very complicated story." Coran explained.
"Well we have nothing better to do." Kieth said as they sat down and listened. "Okay well my little tale begins after you sent me to the rip." Coran began.
Rip to Arendelle several Hours earlier (During chapter 2):
An Altean explorer pod exits a wormhole that Allura had opened to send Coran to the sector of space that lead to the rip which lead the Paladins to Arendelle. Since Elsa had miraculously appeared in their universe in a frozen prison this had raised some concerns as to what's happened to Arendelle in the aftermath of Zarkon's defeat. So Coran volunteered to venture to Arendelle and find any clues about how Elsa ended up in that asteroid belt and the whereabouts of Anna, Kristof, Sven and Olaf.
Coran sat at the controls of the pod venturing to the rip and received a communication from the Castle of Lions. "Coran have you arrived at the rip?" Allura asked over the comms.
"Yes Princess I'm here and about to approach." Coran relayed then Pidge appeared.
"Okay Coran remember Hunk and I have upgraded the pod with a smaller version of the pillar that the Galra tried using to cross through the rip, but using some left over skultrite from the teledove we used to beat Zarkon to help generate an inter-dimensional wormhole to Arendelle." Pidge relayed.
"Rodger that number 5." Coran answered.
"Take care Coran and safe journey but be careful there's so much we don't know about." Allura said bidding goodbye to her aid and trusted advisor.
"Don't worry Princess I'll be safe after all this isn't my first away mission I will find out what's happened to our friends." Coran relayed in confidence. The line was then closed and Coran made his way through the ice cluster to the rip which was still glowing from last time.
Coran pressed a few buttons on the console and from below the pod was a small pillar looking device similar to what the Galra used but had a small teledove lens attached to it. The device activated and from the lens blasted a beam of light at the rip which generated a wormhole from the rip.
Coran took a deep breath readying himself for the voyage. "Okay Coran here we go into the unknown." He then pushed forward the throttle lever and the pod thrusters fired and propelled through the wormhole.
The exit wormhole opened above the North Valley close to Arendelle, and the Pod flew out safely. Coran was a little shaken up by the journey but walked it off.
"Whew this must be how Hunk feels when he vomits." Coran groaned but looked to see he had arrived at his destination. "Ah good old Arendelle how I've missed this…" However when the clouds cleared he saw everything below him even the kingdom was completely frozen over in ice and snow.
"View?" He said in shock. "What how in, I best land and take a look." Coran decided and descended his pod down to the ground and landed near the kingdom and dismounted from his pod.
Suddenly he felt a shiver down his spine which was due to the cold environment. "Brr its cold, if I knew it was going to be this nippy I would've brought a jacket." Coran shivered. Suddenly he heard a rather nerve-racking sound it was a wolf howling.
"Th-then again maybe shivering is better than being wolf food." Coran remembered what the Paladins had told him what happened to Shiro upon their arrival to Arendelle the first time. So he had to be careful of the forests, less welcoming residents.
The Altean walked down hill through the snow and eventually arrived close to the kingdom. "Well this trip has been rather un…" Suddenly Coran tripped on an unseen tree branch in the snow and he tripped and fell down a hill.
"QUISNACK!" Coran cried as he rolled down the hill and soon being encased in a giant snowball which rolled down the hill and bounced on the rocks in the ground and grew bigger and bigger. This wasn't doing Coran's vertigo any good. Eventually at the bottom of the slope the snowball hit a rock and burst open and Coran fell out into a cold puddle of water.
"Oooh cold cold cold." Coran groaned. He soon got up and dusted himself off but the water did cause frost on his clothes. "Well that was, different." Coran said "I just hope no-one saw that."
Soon he noticed a small wooden shack with smoke emerging from it. Coran proceeded over to investigate and after knocking on the sign the snow dropped to reveal the name of said place which Coran recognised.
"Oh it's that trading post Kieth and Lance went to." Coran said and noticed the smaller sign. "Oh and a sauna too I could use a little warmth." He decided and went inside and was greeted by a certain Post Owner.
"Hoo hoo." Coran turned to see Oaken behind the counter. "Big Summer blow out, half off swim suits clogs and a sun balm of my own invention ya?" Oaken greeted which Coran just stared in surprise.
"Uh okay maybe." Coran answered "Now my good man do you have any cloaks, uh winter cloaks?" Coran asked.
"Oh that would be in our winter department." Oaken gestured to a small corner of the trading post that had a small cloak, some rope and a pick axe.
Much to the surprise of the Altean he none the less went over and picked up the cloak from the wall. "Hm a little rustic but when in Arendelle." Coran mused looking over the cloak. He then took it over to Oaken.
"Will you be purchasing that my dear fellow?" Oaken asked.
"Well its pretty ugly but I don't want to turn into a Corancicle. How much do you want?" Coran asked with a raised eyebrow.
"That'll be twelve please." Oaken replied.
"What?" Coran said in surprise. "No hold on it was my understanding it was ten?" He then said.
"Oh no no this is from our winter stock a lot of supply and demand problems you see." Oaken then explained.
"Supply and demand you want to talk supply and demand I have a friend who sells ice for a living." Coran then said.
"It wouldn't happen to be that blonde fellow would it?" Oaken asked and Coran soon realised he was referring to Kristof.
"Yes and I happen to be a friend of Queen Elsa herself I don't suppose there's a royalty discount?" Coran then asked.
"No." Oaken said simply. Coran's face just turned blank this was clearly going to be a tough negotiation.
"Kristof was right this guy is a crook, more than that Unalu." He thought but then an idea popped into his head.
"Okay my good man I don't suppose we could negotiate." Coran then said and Oaken just looked at him with his same calm smile.
"Depends how much have you got." He asked and so the trading match began.
"Well I have a handful of Pocket lint." Coran answered.
"I'll take your first born child." Said Oaken.
"I might be able to throw in a used handkerchief. " Coran then offered.
"You stock the sauna for a month." Oaken challenged.
"I would be willing to sing you a song!" Coran offered.
"You clean my stable for a year!" Oaken challenged.
"TWO ALTEAN CROWN BILLS!" Coran said holding up some old Altean currency he had from the space mall.
"FIVE GOLD COINS!" Oaken challenged. Coran could see how much of a challenge this guy was compared to that Unalu he bargained with for teledove lenses.
"Okay uh, do you accept IOU'S ?" Coran then asked out of desperation.
"Oh of course I would just require some collateral." Oaken then said. Coran then had an idea and looked in his pocket and pulled out something.
"Well how about this hah ha, a shard of a Balmeran crystal!" Coran then offered and Oaken all but mesmerised by the crystal just snatched it off him.
"YOU GOT A DEAL!" He said then handing him the cloak. Coran then took his leave of the trading post and put on his cloak leaving Oaken all but happy and content.
"Ah its been a long time since I've had a good negotiation stand off." He chuckled.
Soon the Altean advisor had made his way down the hill and arrived at the kingdom. However when he arrived he received quite a shock. He looked around the village and could see everything in sight was completely frozen in ice.
"Whoa unless Elsa had another issue with her magic or…" Coran's face turned into a horrified expression because what he saw he never could have expected.
All around him there were the Kingdoms people all completely frozen in ice, he just couldn't believe what he was seeing. He knew about how the eternal winter Elsa accidentally made with her powers affected the kingdom but he knew the people were unharmed this was something entirely different.
"Oh no." Coran breathed. He looked around and could see nothing but ice and snow. "Hello!" Coran called out as he looked around, "Anyone!" He called out again.
Coran looked around in horror, but suddenly he heard a faint thudding noise coming from near by he looked and saw some icicles vibrating from a nearby house. Coran knelt down and felt the ground it was vibrating in a certain pattern, it sounded like something big like a scene from Jurassic Park only more tense.
"Oh boy whatever that is it sounds big!" Coran breathed rather terrified. He quickly hid between two houses. He peeks round a corner and sees something unbelievable, it was a golem made of ice it looked a little like Marshmallow but instead of being covered in some traces of snow he was completely made of ice and had glowing white eyes.
"Oh Quiznak!" He breathed in fright.
He quickly hid behind a wall as the Ice monster turned to look in his direction. Coran kept quiet and stood still so it wouldn't hear him. He began sweating as the monster walked by even more than when he had the slipperies. Soon the footsteps quiet down Coran breathed a sigh of relief as he was in the clear. But as he turned a corner he saw the Ice monster stood in front of him.
Coran stood in horror as he looked at the giant right in its eyes not knowing what he was going to do. "Uh hello there." he said with a shy smile.
The monster then roared at him showing its icy teeth and Coran's hair and moustache was all messy like he'd been through a wind tunnel. The monster gets ready to crush him and all Coran can do is cower in fear but suddenly out of nowhere a speeding force swoops up Coran and when he opened his eyes he was on the back of a certain reindeer who looked back to him.
"Sven!" Coran exclaims as he holds onto Sven's harness. The reindeer rode hard and fast through the village to allude the Icemonster who couldn't catch up due to its bulk which slowed it down.
Eventually Sven managed to give the monster the slip and arrived in an alleyway between two shops. Coran climbed off the reindeer and took a minute to catch his breath.
"Whew, thank you my horned friend." Coran panted and Sven just licked him in gratitude.
"Ah good to see you too." Coran then thanked. Suddenly he felt something hugging his legs and he looked down to find a certain snowman hugging him.
"Hi Coran miss me?" Olaf said.
"Olaf!" Coran said in joy as he knelt down and hugged the little snowman.
"Aw I missed you too." Olaf said.
"Its good to see the two of you." Coran then said. "But what the quiznack is going on here why is everything frozen!" Coran then asked.
"Well it started several weeks after the Paladins left to defeat Zarkon,"Olaf explained "Everything was bright and cheery then one day a strange woman arrived and she kinda looked like Elsa well she had dark hair but still." Olaf continued. "Anyway we took the woman in and then Elsa and Anna discovered she has ice powers just like Elsa!" Olaf then acted out Elsa using her magic.
"NO!" Coran breathed in amazement.
"Yes Elsa couldn't help but be intrigued by her powers and Anna was so happy!" Olaf continued showing happiness by jumping around. "But then the woman was acting suspicious and Anna was concerned and didn't trust her. So we spied on her and found out she wasn't who she said she was, but suddenly the Snow Queen, that's what she's called caught us and made up a silly story of attacking her. We did get in trouble but of course Elsa didn't believe it as Kristof was watching the whole thing and so was Sven." Olaf continued.
"Well of course she'd believe her own sister." Coran said.
"But then the Snow Queen got angry and created an eternal winter that engulfed the kingdom freezing everyone in sight." Olaf acted like he was freezing into a statue. "Then the Snow Queen created a bright light then like that Elsa, Anna and Kristof were gone we were the only ones here but we escaped." Olaf acted they were running. "Moral of the story we lived, and now your here." Olaf finished leaving Coran all but taken aback to how the small snowman could have remembered every little detail of that story.
"Hold on!" Lance cut in "How could Olaf remember all that?"
"Beats me?" Coran answered "But back to my story…"
Soon Coran and his two companions are sneaking through the village to get to the castle without being seen by one of those ice golems. "We soon decided to get some answers in the castle so we devised a covert strategy to enter the castle by stealth." Coran explained.
Soon the three arrived at the lower right wall near the fjord and Coran had slung on his shoulder a rope with a grappling hook attached to it.
"Okay you two I'm going to throw this grappling hook over the wall then we'll climb into the courtyard and sneak in." Coran said to the snowman and reindeer. Sven just tilted his head in confusion.
Coran stepped up and swung the grappling hook and tossed it over the wall but sadly it missed, and so he tried again, it nearly made it but didn't work. Olaf kept watching the Altean try again and again to get the hook over the wall to no avail. Sven then noticed something in the corner and Olaf saw what it was Sven was looking at and waddled over.
"Thankfully with some of the old Coranic persistence I eventually got us in." Coran said. Sven and Olaf just giggled a little knowing that's not what happened.
"Hey Coran!" Olaf called getting his attention. "Not sure this is going to solve the problem but Sven has found a door that leads into the castle." He then said and Coran saw Sven pushing open a door to reveal a way in much to Coran's irritation how he acted like a fool for the last five minutes and there was a way in. He tossed his rope aside and went over to the door.
"Good work." Coran said "But not one word of this to anyone." He then said. Sven and Olaf just looked at each other and cracked a little smirk.
They soon made their way into the castle but peaked their heads around the walls keeping a look out for any snow golems. They then proceeded down the hallways only to find the guards frozen solid. Olaf and Sven could only look around in sadness seeing their home like this Coran could see the looks on their faces.
"Its okay my friends I know what its like to lose ones home, but don't worry Elsa's safe in our universe and in time we'll find Anna and Kristof." He said comforting Olaf and Sven.
He then found Kai and Gerda two of the castles servants frozen in ice. "Oh no not Kai and Gerda too I really liked those two." Coran said in shock as he inspected the frozen servants.
However his attention was then drawn to the portrait they were standing next to, it was of King Agnarr and Queen Iduna, Elsa and Anna's parents who sadly died at sea years ago.
When the Altean looked at the portrait he had a look of sadness on his face as he had some memories he didn't wish to talk about some were happy some sad but he never talks about it not even to Allura. Suddenly a cold breeze filled the air and Coran could tell by his breath it had gotten colder. He turned to see a strange mist approaching them and a shape could be seen within the fog and out of the fog came a woman about Elsa's age only with black hair, pale skin and wore a tiara made of ice with a blue and white ice dress except it was older and had a collar that covered the back of her head and a cloak that reached down to her feet with shoulder pads and light blue sleeves.
Coran didn't know why but he seemed rather scared inside and could see the reindeer and snowman look in fright. He looked closely and somehow this woman seemed familiar.
"Oh well what a surprise, an Altean in Arendelle." She said in a dark voice. Corans eyes widened as she knew what he was but most shockingly he recognised that voice.
"Wha.. you it it can't be!" He said horrified.
"Ah so you recognise me," She said "well I remember you and your king... Coran." She said.
"Coran you know her?" Olaf asked curious Coran just stood in silence with shrunken pupils. "But that's her she's the Snow Queen." Olaf explained.
"Oh and what a surprise you found the stragglers that I forgot when I took over this kingdom." The Snow Queen said.
"This is not your kingdom!" Coran said in partial anger. "Now where's Princess Anna and Kristof!" He then demanded.
"Who?" The Snow Queen asked falsely.
"The sister of Queen Elsa Arendelles Queen! The rightful Queen!" Coran explained.
"Oh you must be talking about the odd ones out." She then said "Well lets just say they're out of my way and now your here I know there's a way to somewhere else." She said in an rather sadistic tone. Coran realised she was talking about the rip back to his universe. "Now I know where I sent my sister, I know how to get to her, and now your going to take me there." The Snow Queen said.
"Why would I do that!" Coran said.
"You don't get a say Altean." She then uses her powers to create giant ice golems with glowing white eyes but instead of hands they had ice spikes like spears.
"Oh well I think its time we take our leave!" Coran said quickly grabbing Olaf and climbing onto Svens back as they rode out of there as fast as they could.
"Bring them to me." She ordered and the ice golems ran after them.
Sven rode through the castle breaking down the doors to the courtyard. He looked around and saw the stable. "Sven we should be escaping not snooping round stables!" Coran said but Sven just knocked down the doors and Olaf saw what Sven was looking for.
"Hey its Kristof's sled." Olaf said happily. Coran soon saw what Sven was telling him.
"Ah a mode of transportation good reindeer!" Coran said stroking Sven's head and began attaching his harness to the reins. Then Coran and Olaf mounted the sled.
The gates of the castle were rammed down as the trio rode out of the village, "Hold tight Olaf!" Coran said as he cracked the reins telling Sven to go faster and mentally thanked for the sled riding training that Kristof gave him last time he was in Arendelle. However their escape didn't go unnoticed by the Snow Queen who watched them escape into the forest.
"They must be going to the way through." She said "Well run as fast as you like you can't get away." She then sent a breeze of her magic through the air sending it in the direction Coran, Olaf and Sven were traveling.
Soon as night was setting in the trio were climbing the hills to get back to the pod Coran traveled in. "Okay so what's happening now where are we going?" Olaf asked.
"Well we've got to get back to the pod so we can get back to our universe and inform the Paladins." Coran explained.
"And we can stop the Snow Queen?" Olaf asked.
"Yes and hopefully find out what's happened to Anna and Kristof." Coran said but suddenly Sven stopped and snorted. "Huh Sven why have we stopped?" Coran asked.
Sven snorted rather worried and Olaf could see something was wrong. "I think something wrong and so does he." Olaf said.
Coran looked around but noticed the mist behind him and could see something in the mist. They were glowing white eyes, in the mist and he could see shapes in the mist and they resembled that of, wolves.
"Oh no." Coran said "Sven GO!" Sven wasted no time riding as fast as he could.
"Oh no is it wolves!" Olaf asked with worry.
"Worse." Coran said turning his head to see it wasn't just wolves but wolves comprised of ice with glowing white eyes and ice spikes coming off their bodies. They rode in pursuit of their prey moving a little faster than normal wolves.
"AHHHH" Olaf cried as the wolves tried to bite them with their sharp teeth.
"Sven hard right!" Coran panicked and Sven took a hard right through the forest and up a steep hill however Coran saw something a little worrying.
"Oh no." He breathed.
"CLIF!" Olaf screamed. Coran and the snowman quickly climbed onto the reindeer quickly.
"Get ready to jump Sven!" Coran exclaimed as he reached in the back of the sled and found a small axe and got ready to cut the reins as they neared the cliff edge, "Okay ready!" Coran readied himself as he held onto Olaf and Sven in one hand and the axe in another, they got ever closer to the edge.
"JUMP SVEN!" Coran shouted and cut the reins and Sven jumped across the gap and landed on the other side just as Coran and Olaf rolled off his back and into the snow. The wolves just reached the edge of the cliff and growled in anger. The trio looked to the edge of the cliff and saw what became of Kristof's sled.
The sled was nothing but rubble at the bottom which blew up a little more leaving nothing but splinters. "Oh Quiznak, Kristof's going to kill me." Coran said with worry. "You don't think he'll be too mad will he?" He then turned to Sven.
All Sven could do was frown with a raised eyebrow. "Oh don't give me that look." Coran snarked.
"So now what do we do?" Olaf asked.
"Well," Coran said then mounting Sven "We ride!" He said and Sven picked up Olaf with his antlers and they rode off into the forest. The wolves just growled in anger as their prey escaped.
Later deep in the forest as the moon shone and the northern lights flickered the trio had arrived back at the explorer pod. Coran had opened the cockpit to try and contact the Castle of Lions.
"Paladins come in!" Coran said on the radio but got no response. "Paladins, Allura!" Coran called again but could only get static. "PIDGE ANSWER YOUR QUIZNACKING PHONE!" Coran shouted but only had static again. Eventually he had to concede defeat.
"Any luck contacting our friends?" Olaf asked with hope.
"No sadly my little snowman friend we're out of range from the Castle of Lions." Coran said sadly. "Hopefully when we get through the rip and back to our universe we can contact the Paladins." He then explained.
"Wait we're leaving Arendelle?" Olaf said in a rather sad tone and Sven looked a little sad too. "What about the Snow Queen?"
"Look I know it isn't ideal but we can't fight the Snow Queen with just the three of us. If we go back to our universe we can come back with reinforcements namely Voltron." Coran explained which did put a smile on the little snowman's face knowing how the Paladins saved them once before.
"Okay Sven get into the cargo bay." Coran said then opening the passenger bay door and Sven wasted no time to enter. Suddenly a spike of ice appeared near the pod shocking the trio. They looked and saw the ice wolves emerging from the forest and growled at their prey it seemed somehow they found a way across the gap.
The pack then stood aside and made way for their mistress, the Snow Queen herself who had a wicked smile on her face.
"Oh great." Coran cringed.
"Going somewhere are we?" The Snow Queen asked. Sven quickly hurried inside the passenger bay of the pod. Olaf quickly hobbled over to the cockpit and climbed in with help from Coran pulling him in.
"You wouldn't be leaving without me would you?" Snow Queen asked fake hurt.
"Your not going anywhere!" Coran said standing up.
"Oh aren't I you can't keep me from my own family." The Snow Queen said smiling.
"Elsa is not your family, and your reign in this kingdom is numbered."Coran replied bravely.
"Oh and how can you do anything about it?" The Snow Queen said evilly.
"I can't, but I know who can for Queen Elsa is now under the protection of the Paladins of Voltron, Defenders of the Universe."Coran said "They've vanquished countless threats to the universe and they will stop you!"
All the Snow Queen could do was clap her hands and maintain her evil smile. "Oh bravo, bravo, well I never would have guessed that the Paladins still exists despite Alfors recent, passing." She grinned evilly which meant she knew somehow that the Paladins of old were gone.
"I look forward to making the acquaintance of these new Paladins since I can't take my revenge on Alfor they shall suffer in his place." The Snow Queen then said.
"Don't count on it!" Coran said sitting in his pilot seat and sealing the cockpit and fired up the engines.
The Snow Queen glared in anger as she summoned her powers to blast the pod but the Pod roars into life and takes to the sky but the Snow Queen fires an ice blast at the pod just hitting the port side engine.
"Oh crud she hit the port side engine its freezing and loosing power!" Coran began to panic we're going to need a lot of heat to melt it. Olaf looked to the console and notices several symbols on the console one of them looked like a fire.
"Oh this must be a heat button." Olaf said and Coran saw what button he was about to hit.
"OLAF NO!"
Olaf hit the button and the boosters roared into life as he just hit the rocket booster that Pidge had fitted originally to find her family but Hunk and Coran found it most useful when they went to the Balmera looking for a new crystal for the Castle of lions.
The pod surged forwards, Coran and Olaf were pushed back into their seats whilst Sven was pinned to the wall at the rear of the passenger bay groaning. The pod gained more and more altitude The Snow Queen grew more furious and created an ice whirlwind towards the pod and it began to freeze in ice and even entered the cockpit nearly freezing Coran.
Coran could see the rip dead ahead in the North Valley he pressed a sequence of buttons and activated the dimensional teledove device which appeared below the pod. The teledove fired and opened a ship was close to being encased in ice but they eventually made it through the worm hole which closed behind them much to the Snow Queens anger.
Paladins universe:
Soon the wormhole opened in the ice cluster field and the pod emerged from it nearly frozen in ice. Coran regained his bearings and saw they were in the ice cluster field and this meant they were back in their universe. He was freezing cold and could see Olaf was unconscious possibly due to all the G-forces and the inside of the cabin was completely covered in ice, Coran was beginning to lose consciousness but not before he pressed a button on the console sending out a distress signal to the Castle of Lions.
In his unconsciousness he could hear a faint voice from the console and it was Allura's. "Coran come in!" Allura's voice echoes "Coran, Coran, CORAN!" Allura yelled but there was no response.
Present day:
"And well that brings us to now." Coran said finishing his story awaiting the Paladins and Elsa's response.
"So, there was no sign of Anna, or Kristof?" She asked in a sad tone.
"I'm sorry Elsa but I couldn't find any trace of them." Coran sadly admitted.
Elsa was all but heartbroken she not only had no clue to what happened to her sister and friend now she finds out her home has been trapped in an eternal winter again. Allura could only hold her hand in comfort Hunk put a comforting hand on Pidge's shoulder as she was worried for Anna.
"Elsa." Kieth said getting her attention. "Is there anything from Coran's story that jogged any memories of how you got here?"
"I wish I did Kieth but, it's just a blank I can't quite remember anything." Elsa said sadly and Olaf comforted her by hugging her legs.
"Well hey at least Sven and Olaf are okay that's gotta mean something right." Lance pitched in trying to lighten the mood.
Sven however was not happy and looked down in sadness, Lance went over to comfort the reindeer by stroking and talking to him. "Hey don't worry Sven we'll find Kristof and Anna I know we will." Lance said to him.
"But what if they're dead?" Lance said imitating Sven.
"Oh come on don't think that." Lance said Sven just looked with sad eyes.
"But Kristof won't get his new sled if he's dead." Sven said (Lance imitating)
"Yeah I still can't believe you trashed his sled Coran." Lance then said.
However everyone just looked at the new Red Paladin with a blank look not knowing what he was doing. "What? Kristof's not here someone has to translate for Sven." Lance said simply.
"You understand him?" Pidge said.
"Well yeah, Kristof taught me how." Lance added in a slightly saddened tone.
"Lances right we will find Anna and Kristof and we'll stop the Snow Queen!" Olaf cheered and Allura couldn't help but smile at the snowman's optimism.
"So what do we do now?" Hunk asked.
"Well first we find Anna and Kristof, then we'll focus on freeing Arendelle and stopping this Snow Queen." Kieth decided.
"Kieth are you sure?" Elsa questioned "I don't like the idea of my kingdom being trapped in ice and under the rule of someone like this." She added with concern.
"Elsa I know your worried for your people but I know you can undo what has been done to your home and its people." Allura said with a comforting smile.
"Yeah you thawed Arendelle once you can do it again." Pidge agreed.
"Plus she can't exactly travel through the rip after you she has no way of doing so she's not going anywhere any time soon." Hunk added.
"I hope not" Elsa said still worried for her kingdom and was only full of questions who was this Snow Queen, how does she have similar powers to her and what connection does she have to Annas disappearance.
The Rip:
In the cold darkness of space the rip suddenly began to glow with energy generating the crack that was created when the Paladins crossed through. A shot of light emerged from the rip and landed on one of the ice fragments in the cluster. The light died down to reveal it was none other than the Snow Queen. Somehow she had found a way through the rip she opened her eyes and saw she had made it through she bore a smile knowing what she'd learned from a certain Altean she knew what she had to do she had a 'sister' to find and she'll silence anyone who gets in her way. She places her hands on the ice fragment and begins using her powers to make something. One thing is for certain the Paladins and their allies are going to be in for an icy surprise.
Authors notes: Oh boy this doesn't look good Arendelles frozen over people included this time, and now this mysterious Snow Queen appears. Lets just hope the Paladins are ready for whats coming next. Now I decided to have this chapter focus on some of the comedy aspects of Legendary Defender such as the adventures Coran takes the crew on such as the Space Mall and later the Voltron Shows. Those comedy episodes always made me laugh in some way.
Now in the OUAT Series I know Olaf didn't make an appearance, so I decided for this story to have him and Sven avoid the frozen fate that awaited them. Now they're back and among their friends once more.
Now a bigger mystery is in play who is this Snow Queen and what does she have to do with what happened to Anna and Kristof?
Next chapter will be a canon episode of Hole in the sky with a few alterations with Elsa's involvement. Until then Vrepitsa!
