On the drive home, Waverly wouldn't stop crying. As they arrived at the homestead, Nedley was waiting in his cop car, as Wynonna pulled up. Nedley placed her under arrest And explained that Nicole was pressing charges against also warned Waverly to refrain from any contact with Nicole. Waverly fell to her knees sobbing uncontrollably. Wynonna looked on from back of the patrol car.
The next few days, were the worse days of Waverly's adult existence. Dolls got Wynonna a good lawyer as Waverly positioned herself behind Wynonna and her attorney for the hearing. Nicole was also seated in the courtroom. Waverly glanced over at her, But Nicoledid not once look in her direction, her face bad badly bruised with two visible cuts one on her forehead and the other on her lip.
