A/N: Okay timeline error rectified. The mind alteration was only a little over a year in length, not two. I realized it while writing this chapter but was honestly way too done with gwtring the chapter written to fix those typos. Future chapters will reflect. Now, as for this chapter.. Probably feels kinda rushed and wtf, but some if not all points of rushing will be addressed in part 2. I hope someone's enjoying the zaniness my mind's breaking out lmao.
Chapter Two
The Summer of Unknowns Pt. 1
Two Weeks Later..
Nick had become increasingly worried about Laura since the gang had all been together the day after they got home from Ilvermorny. She hadn't been texting him or even shown up with the other girls since, and Nick's mind moved a mile a minute to figure out why. I hope she isn't.. No, don't think it. If she is, then Laura has every right to avoid us after I told her what would happen. She's being smart now, but what about when school starts back up? She can't avoid Saryna or I indefinitely. He was brought out of his thoughts as Saryna laid her chin on the top of his head. "What's going on in that head of yours, Nick?"
Nick chuckled. "Nothing important, just the usual worries. And of course, where our missing schoolmate has been."
Saryna frowned. Always on his mind.. "Why are you so concerned with where Laura has been? It seems these days she's all that's on your mind."
"Oh come on, babe. Nothing like that. But, she is our friend and her parents work very closely with the No-maj community, which makes them targets of your father and the Puritans."
Saryna wasn't fully convinced, but Nick had a point. "Alright, fair enough. Why don't we just go check on her, then?"
"Nah. I'm sure she's just planning something hush hush. I don't think we need to intrude on her and her folks." And I'm not letting you just wander into what could very well be a jealousy-originated trap.. He thought.
Saryna sighed. "Alright. Well, come on. We need to go supervise the others."
Nick groaned lightheartedly. "Do we have to? There's far too much estrogen in this house lately."
"Shut it, you. You were the one who offered and encouraged the girls getting together here."
"Yeah, not thinking my hospitality would turn our house into practically a party central. I haven't had much time alone with you since we came home from school, my love."
Saryna swooned but sighed. "I know, baby and I will make it up to you. We'll always have the Tower Chambers."
Nick smiled, knowing that the special existence of a room at Ilvermorny was indeed special to Saryna and him. And, in the long run of the tumultuous last two years, so did Laura. It really does always go back to her these days. "You're right, but summer is supposed to be time for us as well as them."
"Don't worry, we will. You'll forget it ever felt like I was gone, I promise." Saryna said with a peck to Nick's lips.
"Fine. I trust you." Nick said with a reply kiss. "I'll get ready. Meet you all down there." With a nod, Saryna left the room.
Nick got dressed for the day, grabbing his phone. I hope you're okay. We all miss you, love. Please just let me know everything's fine.. He typed to Laura, deleting the text after as he was stopped at the door by Nessa.
"There you are. Hiding away checking up on your missing mistress?"
Nick sighed. It was too early for this shit. "Leave it, Ness. I'm trying not to let it get to me. She might be.. You know, but that doesn't make her any less one of the group. Especially because you have had me paranoid beyond hell over the revelations of that particular implication."
Nessa gave him a hard stare. "Wait, what are you on about now?"
"Look at how this house has been this summer. I have been alone in a sea of women who all at least like me in a friendly way, maybe even as family. Then, I possibly impregnate my second best friend which to you endangers my originally intended monogamous relationship with Saryna. And, as you reveal those implications, you also revealed something you don't want your little sister to know."
"Like what, Nick?" Nessa challenged.
"Nothing big, other than the fact that you are in fact extremely attracted to me. In fact, I bet you've been thinking about it since. All because Laura was here that day and you confronted me on it, although you knew about the affair prior to then. And, due to you being the originally intended other half of my betrothal contract, I believe some twist of fate is instead affecting you, not Saryna from the encounter. All it would take is a kiss to probably make you fall just as quickly as Laura apparently seems to."
Nessa was shocked by the suddenly attentive words of the younger man. How does he..? "Seriously, how the fuck do you do that? Just figure something out from the little things? Goddamn little Sherlock."
"It's Sherloque, actually." Nick said smugly. "No, I've just been paying attention to everything thanks to the paranoia about Laura's current situation. You get all jittery around me and Saryna for one, not to mention I hear the moans coming from your room after you leave the room with just about any mix of us younger teenagers present in the house. Tell me, is it only me you're having fantasies about?"
Nessa looked to see that no one was in the vicinity and cast a sound-proofing charm on the room. "Jeez, Nick, real subtle! What if any other other girls heard that or worse, Saryna? For your information, no it's not only you. You're the only guy, yes, but otherwise you're just usually there. A nice bonus to the fantasy." Nessa covered her mouth as she realized what she had just admitted to as Nick chuckled. "Oh shut it. Just because fun-loving Laura fell for you quicker than lighting a match doesn't mean any other girl will, especially me."
"Ah, but you just confessed to me yourself that you have an attraction to me. What's to say I won't just take you for my own? Bring back the Halliwell family from you and Saryna alike."
Nessa took a step back, suddenly fearful- of what she couldn't discern- of Nick's sudden declaration. "You.. You would really do that? Hop me into bed with you and ensure my family is built back up from scratch?"
"Of course. It's not right, what Sayle did by killing the rest of your family. The way I see it, my being betrothed to Saryna somewhat obligates me to extend the polygamy offer to you by default with how you don't seem to be trying to find someone for yourself, current situation with the Puritans notwithstanding."
"What would Saryna say if she heard you talking like that?"
"I don't know, but if Laura is hiding a certain condition at the moment, then you have just as much of a chance to turn mine as Saryna does, and she's already mine so you do the math."
Nessa couldn't help but fan herself, feeling hot under Nick's words. "Y-you.. I.. Fine, I hear you. Just know that I don't think I want that.."
"I'm surprised to see you so unsure of yourself, you know? Far from the usually wizened attitude you carry."
Nessa turned away, starting to feel unhinged about what she had been feeling the past two weeks and unsure of what her own actions would be concerning said feelings. "Well, I am pretty unsure of myself these days. Seems I'm always on the verge of doing something that could possibly alienate Saryna. I gotta get going. I have some things that need to get done.." Without another word, Nessa left the room as Nick sighed, leaving after her while dispelling the charms placed on the bedroom.
Later, the group of Ilvermorny students all sat in the backyard by Nick's pool, Ilvermorny supply letters in hand. Nick looked up at the sky, the clear blue quickly being replaced by a cover of clouds. If that isn't an omen.. Nick thought as Nashrah asked him something.
Down in the basement, Nessa was pacing in front of the floo fireplace, fighting herself. What am I doing? I can't just barge into someone's house.. But I need to. This whole Laura mystery is unravelling Nick and even I've felt the worry to go check on her.. What if we're right about our suspicions? If I go and Laura is pregnant with Nick's kid, then he may be right and it is me being affected like Saryna should.. She looked at the fireplace and cursed, picking up a handful of floo powder. "Fuck it. Nick needs answers and if he won't separate himself from Saryna to go check on his other love, then I guess I'll try and be the neutral party in all this. Here goes nothing." She activated the floo portal, stepped inside and called out Laura's address as she had heard Nick say more than once the previous summer, disappearing in a swirling rush of emerald flames.
Shortly after, Saryna looked around for her older sister. "Hey, has anyone seen Nessa today?"
"I saw her before I came downstairs. She said something about running some errands." Nick lied, only covering for Nessa because of what he knew she had been doing behind closed doors.
"Oh. Well then, I guess we start grilling up lunch. Make enough for Nessa to eat something when she comes back."
Nick nodded as he started the barbecue grill up. "Will do, love. You keep having fun with the other girls while I do the manly stuff." He flexed his muscles as a joke to which all the girls giggled while hiding their own varying blushes, looking at each other and bursting out into synchronized giggles. Nick's eyes widened slightly in surprise at the odd group behavior as he moved to the grill closer to the house.
Nick felt a sharp, cold shiver run down his spine as he lit the grill. Oh no.. That hasn't happened since the night in the graveyard.. Why can't the summer just be safe? He thought as he eyed the girls. You better not be doing anything stupid, Nessa..
Meanwhile, Jones Manor..
Nessa moaned into the kiss as she struggled to remember why kissing Laura was supposed to be bad, feel wrong. She knew she had come to the mansion to figure something out, but what that was she couldn't remember for her life at that moment. Why was I so worried about coming here? If only Nick was.. Here.. Wait, Nick! Nessa gathered every ounce of willpower she could muster to break away from the younger girl. "No, no! This is exactly what Nick warned me about. I have to go." Luckily, they hadn't moved from the foyer as Nessa rushed as quickly as she could and apparated back home.
Flopping onto her bed with heaving, panting breaths, she grabbed her phone. Hands shaking from the implications of what she had gone and done made it difficult, but after several minutes she managed to type out a message to Nick before curling up, fighting the urges and feelings she had been suspecting but hoping weren't the truth..
Late That Night..
Nick sighed as he walked back into the house. The owner of the local antique shop, a former Curse-Breaker for MACUSA, had asked for Nick's assistance with some items he had recently received. The older wizard, Cornelius Hoyle, had told him it would only take a couple of hours at most. That had been in the early afternoon, whereas now it was past midnight. Reason being that Cornelius had taken an interest in Nick's now somewhat cautious demeanor and why a fourteen year old was suddenly looking around as if his shadow was about to attack him. Nick, knowing how trusted the older man was in regards to his deceased father, told Cornelius about the betrothal, the affair, the harem possibly forming around him. Nick told Cornelius everything, knowing he wouldn't go telling Nick's mother about her son's complications with his life.
Saryna had already texted him at least an hour earlier, saying she was tired and would probably be asleep when he got home. He had smiled at the text until he saw another unread message. The message was unfamiliar to Nick, but he knew from Saryna's cell that it was Nessa. I'm in my room indefinitely. Don't ask, and do not come to me. Please.
"What the hell..? What did you do, Ness?" He asked as he did what she had told him not to: he went to her.
Nick felt the same shiver from earlier in the day stroke down his spine once again as he stopped outside of Nessa's room. Nick looked down the hallways to each side of the room. She really chose a secluded room. The nearest bedroom is mom's otherwise Nessa is surrounded by just linen closets and otherwise vacant rooms.. But why?
Nick took a deep breath before he opened the door, as silently as possible. Nessa was laying in bed, a somewhat panicked expression on her face. She was writhing around, mostly her legs rubbing together. Nick stepped closer and noticed she was muttering, barely audible whispers of his name, making his eyes widen. You didn't..
He shook the older girl awake gently, instinctually casting a sound-proofing spell on the room as he did. Nessa gasped awake as she focused on Nick's face, her pupils dilating in a way Nick had only seen happen with Laura, albeit rarely. "Nick.. I told you not to come.."
Nick nodded. "I know, but your message only made me worry." He looked away for a moment. "Ness, what happened?"
Nessa was silent for several moments, the silence deafening to Nick as he waited for her answer. Finally, she sighed. "You were right.. It wasn't Saryna being affected. I went.. I went to Laura's. I didn't like how her absence has been worrying you, so I wanted to just see what was up. I got there and saw her, and she just looked so hungry.. I didn't know why or what for, but she had this look in her eyes, like she had found the prey she had been looking for. Not like her, I know, but that was nothing compared to the rest. She stepped up to me and just kissed me, tongue and everything. I.. I'm losing the battle, Nicky." Nick looked at her, confused by her use of his nickname- which she never called him in general- and this battle she mentioned. "Falling for you. Even now, it's taking beyond the entirety of my will to resist having you just take me as yours so this fucking inferno between my legs could just cool off. I almost couldn't stop the making out with Laura, and even then I barely managed to get back here and shut myself off from you just so Saryna didn't know something was wrong. I can't take her love from her. Saryna has been through too much already."
Nick sighed. "What if I've been seriously thinking about letting this harem grow? All summer I'm left with the women I hang out with and after tasting sex because of the extensive practice I've had with Laura, honestly I can see the signs. They're all affected. All but Saryna, who probably doesn't count in the same way after what we've been through with the mind alteration.
"I'm not saying it's perfect, but I bet if we discussed this with Saryna, she wouldn't be fully opposed to the idea. The only issue then is Laura still can't come around until Saryna at least knows about the affair."
"You can't! You could lose her over that, Nick. I wouldn't be able to see you go through losing Saryna a second, possibly much more permanent time."
"I won't. She'll probably hate me for a while, but Saryna knows how much I defended her even when I was with Laura and she was the enemy. Saryna will understand.. I hope."
Nessa's legs still fidgeted, and she felt herself breath harder at the thoughts starting to invade her mind once again. "So do I.. Nick, you have to go.. I - I can't control myself much longer.. You look too fucking hot to.." She whined, the tone reminding Nick of Laura which made his jeans begin to tent from the arousal it sent to Nick's brain. I shouldn't.. But she looks so beautiful when she's desperate.. Why did she have to sound like Laura..? His cock twitched in his pants, an action that drew Nessa's gaze. "Please, Nick. I don't want this.. Not like this.." She was lying to herself, but Nessa sincerely didn't want to be addicted to the younger boy as Laura had swiftly become.
Nick smiled sympathetically before placing one hand on the side of Nessa's face gently, the twenty year old sighing and melting into the touch as she looked up at him with pleading eyes. The longer he stayed in the room, the more drawn to Nessa he had felt and in his mind, the caution switch had been turned off. Despite the circumstances, from the contract clause to the now confirmed thoughts (Fears? Hopes?) of Laura's pregnancy, Nick wanted the supposedly inevitable harem to happen. "What if I want this? Could you still lay there and fight it?" He asked, half-whispering as he leaned his head in close enough for Nessa ro feel his breath tickling her neck, a hot sensation spreading throughout her body.
Nessa bit her lip, wanting with every ounce of willpower she still held onto to say no and deny it. "I-i.." She could feel herself slipping into the haze of lust that had been threatening to take over her other senses over the last fortnight, each second that passed loosening her control further. "I.. I want to.. But.. Ahh!" She gasped loudly as she felt the heat in her groin increase as a result of Nick's coming on to her. "Fuck, I can't.. Just do it, love. Take me all you want, I don't care anymore." She smiled wantonly. "I just want to see what made Laura turn into your lover so quickly." She breathed out in confession as she stroked the bulge in Nick's pants with an aroused shiver. "Oh my, no wonder." Nessa moaned and giggled as she fished Nick's surprisingly huge member out. "If every guy back in school had dicks this big, I wouldn't still be a virgin. Mm, so fucking big." She licked her lips with glossy, lust-filled eyes as Nick picked her head up and kissed Saryna's older sister.
"And all for you and the others to take, Nessie. I don't know why all this had to happen, but looking back I wouldn't change any of it. As it stands, I have three beautiful women all to myself and more to come, and that should scare me but it doesn't anymore. Now really tell me what you want, Ness." He said huskily, gently grabbing and squeezing her neck only to be answered with a loud moan.
"Ohh, fuck! Nick.. Make me a mom like you did to Laura. I'll even cast the fertility charm if you want, baby."
Nick just smiled as he began his more than successful conquest of the twenty year old, only leaving and managing to crawl back into bed with Saryna hours later.
A Week Later..
It has to be today. I can't keep this all a secret much longer. Nick thought as he left the shower. Saryna needs to know about Laura and Nessa.. And that it might eventually add the other girls in our circle of friends or more. Nessa had been keeping him up more often than not at night, surprising Nick with how good he felt instead of fatigued from the multiple sessions of hours-long love-making. Maybe that's another side-effect of the whole harem-building.. I just get more stamina to further bury myself in them..
He saw Saryna wasn't in their room when he returned, so he went to find Nessa instead. She was, as she had been doing for the most part lately, holed up in her room. "Nessie? We need to tell her. Today." He said as he shut the bedroom door behind him.
Nessa looked at him with an incredulous expression. "What? No, Saryna will kill you just for fucking me stupid, lover boy. It's still too soon."
"No, it isn't. Saryna deserves to know what's going on where she isn't paying attention. Especially because once school starts back up, Laura will need to be watched closely. I don't want her corrupting anyone else unless I say so. She already turned you faster than even you wanted to last week and she could turn others without us even knowing until they show up looking to get screwed."
Nessa opened her mouth to protest but closed it again. Why doesn't he just shove his cock down my throat instead? She asked herself before speaking. "Alright, fine. I get your point, but I still don't see why we need to tell her now."
Nick groaned. Why was Saryna's family so difficult? "Because Saryna knows nothing about the clauses uour family put into place and as any traditional Wizarding family, she should have been told when she was old enough to have the contract written up." Like I should have been right away. He thought.
Nessa looked down, knowing Nick was right. She had messed that up with the couple in question, and that had resulted in the harem clause being activated anyway. "I'm sorry. I should have told you both, but you were only twelve. Neither of you seemed much interested in the sexual side of things yet, so I figured it could wait.. But I turned out to be wrong once Saryna had her mind altered and you started going off with Laura. If we tell her, Laura has to be there for it."
Nick sighed. That, as much as he had a right to his own choices, was something he really didn't want to tell Saryna. "I suspect she already knows something happened between me and Laura, honestly. She questions me about Laura often enough."
"She's threatened by Laura, you dunce. She's seen how close you two got in the two years since Fontaine screwed with her head."
"Either way, I'm tired of hiding something that in all reality is an absolute miracle isn't public news to everyone we trust. End of debate."
"Fine, but if this backfires it's on you."
"Of course. Although, even if Saryna decides to hate me about it, I'll still have some backup." He winked at Nessa who scoffed.
"Keep talking like that I'll deny you." She said, knowing it was a total lie based off their past week of love-making and how, like Laura, Nessa had become increasingly wanting and obsessive about Nick as a whole, hence why she holes herself in her room unless necessary and even that seemed to be getting harder for Nessa to handle.
"Fine, see how long you can last without getting it before you're driven absolutely fucking bonkers."
Nessa made a face. "How and why do you even know that word? I thought it went dead before you were born?"
"Disney Channel reruns, before those became shit. Bonkers was one of my favorites." Without another word, steeling himself for the worst, Nick went to find Saryna with the older Halliwell sister following behind him.
The two entered the library to find Saryna reading a book detailing Wizarding marriage contracts and the intricacies involved. "Odd choice for some light reading, Ryna." Nick pointed out.
"Well, I figured I should learn a bit more about them, being involved in one and not really knowing anything about why my family still uses them."
"Funny, little sister, because that's kind of exactly what we came to talk to you about. There's something you need to know about your marriage contract that I thought hiding from you would be best but unfortunately, it seems you need to more this more urgently than anything." Nessa explained.
Saryna put the book down. "What are you talking about?"
"The clause of your contract with Nick that allowed the Halliwell lineage to be one of the few large Wizarding families in America. And why that clause has been activated."
"Activated? Oh no, what the hell is going on?!" Saryna asked, channelling some of the fury from her mind's formerly altered state.
"There is a clause in the marriage contract signed between our two families, one I had hoped wouldn't be active at all from how happy you two always are. However, I didn't foresee the events of your second year at Ilvermorny, and how that affected the both of you in the long run. And myself, I suppose."
"How does the contract or the clause in it affect you?"
Nessa sighed. "Because, in truth, I was supposed to be betrothed to Nick, but I changed the contract to you seeing the love you both shared. And because of that, I have been affected in ways that should have happened to you. Know this, little sister, you won't like the answers you receive about all this."
Saryna was irked at how Nessa skirted around the topic at hand. "Stop stalling and just tell me!"
Nessa looked at Nick, who nodded as Saryna looked between them both. "The clause in your- our- contract states that infidelity on the man's part won't outright null the contract unless you're already married. If not, then any otherwise considered illegitimate children and their mothers are instead absorbed into the contract, creating for lack of a better term a harem surrounding the man in question. Are you following me so far?"
Saryna nodded. "I understand what you're saying, but why exactly is that relevant? Nick's never so much as kissed another girl."
Nessa chuckled. "You're that far in the dark, little sister? Haven't you been suspecting Laura since Nick fixed your head in that graveyard and you watched over him in the Nurse's Wing while Laura was the only other one to even attempt visiting Nick there?"
Nick looked at Saryna. "Is that true? No wonder you've been so jealous of her being so close to me lately."
Saryna turned red. "I'm not jealous. Laura has no chance." She said, crossing her arms.
Nick sighed. "Unfortunately, as true as that was two years ago, more changed than just your attitude adjustment." This is it.. He thought. "Not too long into the summer last year, Laura and I got close. Close enough where, while you and I were technically not together thanks to your hostility at the time, we started dating, keeping it a secret from almost everyone else. From movies, I knew marriage contracts were null and void from infidelity, so I took the precautions for the contract not to be voided. Unfortunately, the contract had other plans and even longer story short, it's not just me and you in this contract anymore, only thanks to the fact we aren't married already. And I know it sounds wacky and fuck it really is but it's real. It happened and I needed you to know before it gets any worse."
Saryna was shocked, her mind shut down from the sheer facts revealed to her. Then the pieces came together about Laura's absence since the last time they had all been together. Except one.. "You warned Laura three weeks ago. But if you haven't been together since before you broke Fontaine's spell on my mind, then she was already pregnant then. It didn't affect me.."
"Yes, that's right. Oddly, Nessa warned me that day and I told Laura in the off case we weren't careful enough. Lo and behold, it turns out Laura had a lapse in judgement and cast fertility spells on herself the last few times we were together instead of the agreed contraceptive. In hindsight, I should have wrapped it but that's all said and done now as it is."
Saryna was fuming but still spoke calmly. "Alright, I guess if I have to then I can share you with Laura. But I'mnot happy about it at all and you have some serious making up to do, buster."
Nick chuckled nervously. "Yeah, that's fair I guess. But, Laura isn't the only one already affected. There's one more."
Saryna's eye twitched. "Oh, and who else have you been shamelessly screwing then? Jasmine? Nashrah? That fucking little blonde Child of Purity who wouldn't stop making moves on you last year?!"
Nessa frowned. "That's enough, Saryna! Nick isn't to blame for my inclusion. Not as directly as he is for Laura's at least." Not yet.. "No, I didn't want Nick to worry about why Laura was being silent to everyone for two weeks. Last week, I went to Laura's manor myself and indeed fell into the loop of the contract, having the most intense and overwhelming urge to have Nick just absolutely ruin me. Unfortunately, the confirmation of that was in Laura's feverishly horny actions. She needs Nick again, Saryna and she's too scared to come around because she knows you'll hate her."
"That doesn't matter. She should have been able to tell me about at the very least part of this situation herself. I'm going over there.."
"No! No, not by yourself." Nick shook his head fervently. "Go by yourself and you'll be enfolded into the lust like Nessie was. Listen, Saryna. I love you more than anything, you know that. Unfortunately, the alterations done to you by Fontaine opened my heart up to others, and Laura broke through first. You keep asking me why I've been so nervous around both you and the other girls in our group. By this time next year, Nashrah and Jasmine are almost guaranteed to be involved as well. It's not how we saw ourselves when we agreed to the contract, but I don't want to change it now." Saryna looked at him like he grew three heads. "I'm serious. That clause in our contract is a failsafe, in a way. A way to make sure the Halliwell family always kept it's high numbers."
"But why Nessa? Why was she affected as I should have been?"
"Isn't it obvious? We mentioned that before. Nessa was supposed to be the one I married, but it was changed to you because we already had that love. For the clause, it must have just attached to Nessa because she would have been the easiest one in the role of Halliwell because our love was fractured at the point this started."
"So what? I should just be happy that my fiancee is able to go and basically get any woman he deems possible pregnant?"
"Well, yeah. But I wouldn't abuse that, as tempting as it would be to steal all the girls from school involved with the Puritans. Could be espionage potential there, really. But, I only intend to stop at the girls in our group. The ones who are already family to us."
Saryna stood up, just not wanting to process any more of the conversation. "Whatever, Nick. I have to think.." With that, she left the room, Nessa adopting a worried expression as she draped her arms around Nick's neck from behind.
"It'll work out, love. She'll come around. I eventually did. The concept is just overbearing, especially being activated in the middle of both your teenage years and schooling. In all fairness, Saryna is probably mostly upset that your first children aren't from her."
"That would fit the reaction, huh? Well, then I guess all we can do is wait for her to come around. By the way, why is it you can keep yourself composed better than Laura? She had a hard enough time keeping her hands off me before the surprise pregnancy of which I technically have not yet been told of."
"Easy enough to explain, actually. Laura is still going through puberty. The final bits, for sure, but still. Whereas I am fully grown in all the right ways, don't you agree?"
Nick smiled and kissed her. "Yes, in more ways than one. Maybe we should try to hold off for a while, just until Saryna cools herself down."
"Yeah, you're right, lover boy. Oh, so I wanted to talk to you about a little something.."
Meanwhile, Jones Manor..
"Laura! Get the hell out here before I tear this place apart looking for you!"
"You don't have to, jeez. I'm guessing the princess finally knows about this whole next level of drama?" Came Laura's voice from one of the nearby couches.
Saryna stalked over, crossing her arms as she sat down on the couch next to her. "Why didn't you just tell me in the Nurse's Wing that day? I confessed Nick and I were engaged. It would only have been fair if you had told me you had been sleeping with him in my absence."
"Well, I wasn't going to make a possibly unstable situation even more so. Plus, when you came back and I found you fully back to your normal self in the Nurse's Wing, I was going to tell you. If you hadn't had your mind fixed or whatever. I didn't want to ruin the happiness you two still obviously were capable of."
"So you keep it a secret? Laura, we're friends. As fucked up as this situation is, you shouldn't have kept that from me. Especially when I had to find out because you jump started a harem! Nick's already claimed you and Nessa thanks to her idiocy in coming here to check on you last week."
The color drained from Laura's face. "Fuck. Ryna, I'm sorry. I never meant for this to happen. Nick is.. He's something else. I thought it was just that honeymoon phase kind of feeling, you know? Always wanting more of him even though we kept our relationship a total secret during school. I figured after a while, even the mind-blowing sex-"
"TMI, Laura! I don't want to hear about that right now."
"Alright, fair enough. But, the feeling of wanting that boy.. It never went away and never got any weaker. Despite your ascended level of love for each other, Nick fell in love with me, too. Honestly I've been unable to stop thinking about him at all these days. That's partly why I'm just laying here near the floo.. Saryna, I don't think I can stop.."
"You don't have to.. I know you care deeply about Nick, I've been able to see it all through the last roller coaster of a year. If this unorthodox arrangement is how it must be, well.. I'm gonna have to let it be. I may not fully support or like it, but I'll let it be. I have to ask, though, why are you not out to make out with me and turn me into another horny little bitch for Nick like Nessa did?"
"I couldn't tell you." Laura shook her head. "All I know is that I can feel this isn't finished. No, I think some mildly dark magic is present in that contract. Otherwise why else would I go from being the nice reserved girl to the nice, hopelessly addicted to Nick side chick?"
"You might have a point. Well, now that all the cats are out of the bag, maybe you shouldn't just stay away anymore. Just, please try not to convert the rest of our friends like a mindless zombie. We're all only fourteen, bar you and Nessa. This new situation means every girl turned into one of Nick's women is having his baby by this time next year, some of us possibly on baby number two at that point. We need to control all of this, somehow." Laura just nodded.
That Night..
Saryna kissed Nick as they lay in bed, her movements odd for her own behavior earlier. "What's gotten into you all of a sudden?" Nick asked.
"It isn't what's gotten into me, Nicky. It's what hasn't gone in me." She whispered in his ear, Nick groaning as the innuendo registered and roused his dick. "I don't think it's fair you fucked and possibly impregnated both my sister and one of my closest girlfriends before your own wife-to-be. I may not be entirely alright with this new situation we've found ourselves in, but I'll be damned if I let you get any other women pregnant before me."
"But, Ryna. We're only fourteen." Nick brought up, as much a valid point as not.
"Who cares?! You were fucking Laura Merlin knows how much during the last school year and I know you've been with Nessa countless times since she was converted or whatever the word is last week. So what better condition to agree to this whole harem could there be than you getting me knocked up before your dick goes and conquers the rest of our friends.. Maybe even others once school starts."
"If I didn't know any better, I would say you've started feeling what Laura and Nessie have, haven't you?"
Saryna bit her lip. It wasn't as obvious as Laura made it sound and she wasn't going to ask her sister how it felt, but Saryna could feel the bubbling of lust tinging the edges of her mind, ever since she had gone to talk with Laura. "Maybe I have. I can't be sure yet, but I know I've waited more than long enough to truly give you everything." She kissed him again, rolling him onto his back as she giggled. Oh, she would have fun taking advantage of the situation.
One Week Later..
Things had begun to settle down, surprisingly, for Nick and Saryna. As normal as the days were as each passed, now they were filled with the almost never-ending moans of three girls all vying for dominance in their new relationship. Also surprising to the three was the potion Nessa had brewing, a working solution to the overpowering need for Nick at every hour of the day. That was what had allowed Laura to come back to the house without the added risk of her kissing and converting the other girls without a second thought. Today, however, the teens were all going to Vertic Alley for their fourth year school supplies.
The group arrived in the Wizarding side of the mall, near the office for Powell and Union, the American branch of Gringotts where Laura's father waved at them from his desk. After retrieving the money for their supplies, the group made their way down the rows of shops until they got to the tailor shop, Rosemary's Closet. Upon entering, they all heard an obnoxious voice from behind them. "Oh, now look what the cat dragged in. Hey, Halliwell? How was reuniting with dear old dad?" Out from inside the entranceway stepped Jack Looper, a girl who looked somewhat familiar hanging off his arm.
Saryna growled and eyed the girl. "Oh, it was nice despite the fact he wants to fucking kill me!"
"Oh, not just you. Negron goes, too of course. He did manage to stop Sayle in the graveyard, after all." His parents or one of their acquaintances must have told him about the resurrection. "Then with you two gone, the Puritans can return the world to Wizarding control with none of those filthy No-maj scum walking about. Isn't that right, Lizzie?" Looper asked the girl on his arm.
Lizzie Shultz was in their year, but Saryna recognized her more as one of the more prominent Children of Purity present in Horned Serpent house. While not as athletically fit as any of the girls Nick hung around, Lizzie was just as stacked as Nessa was while also holding a cute level of thickness to her. The Child of Purity's emerald green eyes shone strangely as she looked at the group and nodded along with Jack's words, the green orbs fixated on Nick for several long moments before Lizzie shook her head. "Let's go, babe. We still have shopping to do ourselves."
Looper smirked at the larger group as they walked past with Lizzie meeting Nick, Nessa and Saryna's eyes in turn, a mischievous gleam in Lizzie's stare. "What was that about?"
"I don't know, but I have a strange feeling that was important.." Laura said.
Nessa nodded. "Yeah. I think, even while calmed down, that the lust radiating miss converter over here," She poked Laura in the shoulder. "Is still affecting at least some women. What do you say, Nick? You did mention something the other day about bringing women aligned with the Puritans into our growing family."
Saryna shook her head like the Tasmanian Devil in Looney Tunes. "Fucking no! I am not letting some Puritan skank into this equation for any reason."
Nick just laughed as the group proceeded to get their school robes refitted. Upon leaving Rosemary's Closet the group split up with Laura and Nessa going towards the apothecary to refill everyone's potions ingredient stores while Nick and Saryna went to the place they first met, The Magic Quill bookstore. Upon entering the shop, Nick felt the hairs on his arms stand up straighter than anything. "Why does there have to be a bad feeling here?"
"Don't worry, Nicky. We're in Vertic Alley. Who would dare attack us in broad daylight at the ma-" Saryna's sentence was cut short as the store next to the book shop, the Sports Shelf, blew sky high, the explosive shockwave sending the couple barrelling through the air to rest on a sponge-charmed stack of books, the pain lessened by the soft impact on the books.
"Puritans!" Someone shouted as Nick struggled to look at their surroundings, the buzzing in his ears making it hard to hear anything. Regaining his bearings, he saw the group of Puritans standing in the middle of the path between shops, each wearing the signature horned masks he and Saryna remembered from the night in the graveyard.
In an instant, he had Saryna behind him and the Ultima Wand out, pointed towards the ne'er do wells. "Why today of all days?!" He roared, the aura of Magical energy present from that night flaring around him once again as he stepped towards the Puritans. "Hey, fuckers! The hell do you think you're doing?!"
"We act on Master Sayle's orders to destroy Vertic Alley. And with MACUSA hesitating to act against us, we will succeed."
"You must be new, then. For your information, you just fucked with the wrong teenager. Petrificus Maxima!" He sent the petrification spell flying, the beam of sparks breaking into pieces and making contact with three of the five Puritans present. "I might be a kid, but I will not hesitate throwing an Unforgivable at you for disrupting my lovely day and send your corpse to Sayle with a goddamn bow tied to it." There was a crazed look in Nick's eyes that the Puritan in charge of the small assault group widened his eyes at.
"I thought all kids these days were pussies afraid of anything?" The thug stated, trying his hardest to stay calm.
Nick smirked darkly, his hair seemingly curling up into horns as he spoke again. "Yeah? Well this pussy has some fucking teeth, asshole. Fuck with me." He challenged as he looked at Saryna, who was now on her phone. Better be calling Orion.. He thought as the Puritan took a step back.
"Ah fuck this shit. Stopped by a damn kid.. Watch yourself, punk. Wait until Sayle hears about this." With one last sneer at Nick, the Puritan apparated him and his allies out of the mall.
Nessa and Laura came running onto the scene, joining an equally astonished Saryna in hugging the boy they had all fallen so hard for. "Oh thank Merlin you're both alright. What the hell happened?"
"The Puritans blew up the sports store. Nick had to face them down. It was pretty scary," Saryna leaned further into the hug. "But it was also kind of arousing, seeing you blow up on them."
Nick rolled his eyes. With the girls all but obsessed with taking Nick to bed, statements like that had become quite the norm. "Wait until we're back home first, at least." Nick was about to point out that Nashrah and Jasmine had appeared at the edge of the crowd and had begun coming over to them as Nessa grabbed his face and smashed her lips on his own.
Nessa broke away with shining eyes. "Don't go running into danger like that. You could have been killed!" There was a lot left unsaid in that statement as Nick smiled back. "Nessie, mama, it's alright. I'm fine, Saryna is fine. Nothing to worry about." He said as the other two girls of their group stopped close by as Nessa kissed Nick while Saryna was right next to them.
"What the hell? Nessie? What have you guys been hiding from us?" Jasmine asked.
Nick sighed. "I'm not recapping the entire HBO season-length of events from just the past two weeks. Not here completely out in the open right after a Puritan attack. Ryna, did you get through to Orion?"
Saryna nodded. "He said he would tell his boss and meet us here." Orion was suddenly next to the group, panicked.
"Is everyone okay? Nick, what the hell was that aura?! Someone was broadcasting the attack all over the Wizarding news channels and saw your little tussle. People at MACUSA are calling you a hero for stopping whatever the Puritans had planned so quickly and with so little effort. How do you do it?"
"Ah, Orion. A true magician never reveals their secrets. I'm guessing you don't need a statement from me like last time?"
"Nope, this time you're all clear. Just don't go being that reckless too often, alright? It looks like that other thing is working out well enough though." He winked before turning away. "I gotta ask around and see if anyone saw where the Puritans came from or maybe where they were going back to. Look after them all, alright? I don't want to hear Laura and my godchild got hurt on your watch."
Nick nodded. "Of course. I won't let anything happen to them, Rion. Watch yourself out there. Aurors and the like are high value."
Orion laughed. "Yeah, ain't that the truth. Take care, guys." Orion said before walking off as Nick's merlin falcon Adria flew down with a bundle of letters, each addressed to one of them except for the graduated Nessa.
Nick opened his and looked it over. "Wow, that's fast even for Ilvermorny. They're sending all our supplies straight to our houses because of the attack."
"Good, so we don't miss out on the required materials. So, now do you want to tell us exactly why Nessa was kissing you and Saryna has no damn problem with it?" Nashrah asked, more in shock from the aforementioned kiss than anything.
Nick sighed. Never an easy day anymore.. "Alright, fine. Let's go back to my place. Right now it's the safest place to be." In quick agreement, the group all made their way to the nearest floo hub.
Stepping out of the floo in Nick and Saryna's basement, the group was met by Cordelia who wore a frown as she stepped up to Nessa and slapped her across the face. "What the fuck was that kiss about?!" Another slap followed by a punch that sent Nessa to the ground.
Nick gasped as a sudden realization fell on him. "Shit! We forgot to fill mom in on everything!" The others all sweatdropped at him as he went to stop Cordelia from beating the life from Nessa without an explanation.
