CHAPTER 03

Eames had just left her father's apartment, she opened the front door and to her astonishment found herself face to face with Goren.
My God, what was he doing there?
We had to find a way to escape as quickly as possible!
But there was no escape route, the only one that could have been blocked by her heavy body. And she couldn't go back to her father, who wouldn't understand why she had come back and who would ask her questions, at the risk of taking a look outside and seeing Goren, she couldn't take the risk.
She was trapped!
How the hell had she known where to find her.
She remembered coming several times with him to her father's house, but she never thought she would find him here.
Come to think of it, it could only have been one of Margareth's tricks!
Margareth was going to pay for it!
Expect a recurrence sister!
Goren was there, waiting, not moving and waiting for her to talk.
- I don't have time!
She pushed him to pass, but he caught her by the wrist, preventing her from advancing.
- I want to know why you disappeared like a thief! Her voice was sad, unsure. Eames felt his heart break, but recovered. Why and without any explanation!
Alex tried as hard as he could to get his powerful hand away from his wrist, shaking his head in denial, refusing to speak.
Regretfully, and against Eames's stubbornness to keep silent, he let go of his wrist.
Alex wasted no time and escaped as quickly as possible under Goren's sad and helpless gaze.
- I'll be back every Thursday! Whether you like it or not! He shouted out his words to her. And I would have the last word on this story!
As always, he was obstinate and as soon as he wanted something, he got it by all means and many times she had given in, but this time she was not to give in!
But she smiled.
It was this obstinacy that made her fall under his spell and fall into his arms.
Her spirit returned to that famous night, but she recovered quickly.
No one should not think about that night, never again!
It should not, would not be!
Alex did not want to suffer, and for that she had to close her heart, and forget what she was feeling, because otherwise she would suffer!
She had already suffered when she lost Joe, she didn't want to do it again!
And risk losing him!
And that she couldn't envisage!
