Big Trouble from a Little Possess Demon
"I must say, this sure bring back some fond memories." Grandpa Higurashi smiled, seeing three girls with supernatural powers and a dead demon.
"Yes, it reminds me of the time Inuyasha would come to visit Kagome." Miss Granny Higurashi agreed with her father as Mei looks on surprise of seeing so much has happened right before her eyes.
Truth be told, Mei always knew Touta was strong because of his display with his powers out in the open also because of his wolf ears and tail, but killing that demon shows that Touta wasn't even showing his real power. Not to mention seeing her big sister in action like that left her speechless of amazement, and surprise to hear that one of the girls is her long-lost twin sister Towa told her about a few times.
Meanwile, Touta and Towa are looking at Setsuna while the latter is glaring at them as she kept her guard up to these strangers.
"Hey, dude! You were totally cool when you took down Mistress Three-Eye, even though I already called dips on killing her myself, but I'll let it slide just this once because you're a strong Half-Demon." Moroha complimented.
"Thanks, I am pretty awesome. Nothing in the world can stop me!" Touta smirked.
"All except the innocent cute stare of your little sisters." Towa blurted out on purpose.
"Hey, you don't need to tell her that!" Touta gasped.
"Say stud, have you though about doing some bounty hunting business. You would make a great partner for me." Moroha suggested while wrapping her arms on Touta's right.
"Huh, bounty hunting?" Touta wondered.
"Hey, get away from him! Touta is my boyfriend!" Towa separated Moroha from Touta and wraps her arms around his.
"Whoa, sorry. Didn't know you two were an item, so is it okay if I keep that head?" Moroha asked holding the skull of Mistress Three-Eye.
"Sure, not like I know what to do with a skull anyway." Touta nodded which made Moroha happy that she got her bounty.
"Man, where are we anyway. This is so much brighter like there is still some daytime." Moroha looked around, seeing the bright lights in the city.
"So, you're Setsuna. Towa told a lot about you, the time you two used to play in a forest as little kids and were inseparable too." Touta said to Setsuna.
"Setsuna. I'm sure deep down, you were angry at me for letting go of you that day when the forest was on fire. I'm so sorry for that." Towa apologized as she walks up to Setsuna, but she jumps back and pointed her naginata at her.
"I don't know you, don't come near me if you value your life. If you take even one step, then…" Setsuna shocked of seeing Towa stepping forward towards her despite the warning.
"You're dead!" Setsuna charged, with her right eye glowing from the Gold Rainbow Pearl and swing her blade at Towa only to be stop by Touta.
"Seriously, you're finally reunited with your twin sister and this is how you respond? Talk about a letdown." Touta disappointed.
"Silence. I've always been alone for as long as I can remember, I have no sister." Setsuna stated as she tries to pull her weapon from the boy's grip but couldn't even budge it at all.
"(Damn this boy, his strength is stronger than my own. Not surprising since he got down Mistress Three-Eye.)" Setsuna thought admitted while struggling to get her weapon back.
"Towa is telling the truth; she would never ever lie about something important like being your sister." Touta said strongly.
"But it looks like you don't know, now that's odd. Hey Towa, do you think it's one of those memory loss things?" Touta asked his girlfriend.
"You mean amnesia? Then that would explain why Setsuna doesn't recognize me." Towa said.
"Let go of my weapon, this instant!" Setsuna demanded.
"Yeah, I don't think so. If I let go then you'll go try killing Towa." Touta refused.
"Of course, I will. I must never let my guard down no matter what." Setsuna stated.
"Wow, sounds like you live with a stupid logic." Touta mocked making Setsuna angry.
"Come on now, let's all try to be friends, especially you, Setsuna." Moroha played the demon skull like a hand puppet.
"What's the harm of letting others near you?" Moroha asked chuckling.
"I'm Moroha, by the way. My bounty hunter buddies call me Moroha the Demon Slayer, it's nice to meet ya." Moroha introduced herself.
"Cool, my name is Touta Konoe and you already met my girlfriend, Towa Higurashi." Touta greeted.
"Hello there." Towa said.
"Touta and Towa, very interesting people I've come across. When you're as good as I am, you can already tell that you three are Half-Demon which is pretty cool if you ask me." Moroha bragged and blocked an attack from Setsuna.
"Hey, can you not fight for just one moment?" Touta asked.
"That would also explain the Rainbow Pearl in your eye." Moroha mentioned as she pushes Setsuna back.
"Rainbow Pearl?" Towa puzzled.
"And if I'm not mistaken, which my nose never is, then you two must the daughters of Sesshōmaru." Moroha said as she sniffs Towa.
"Sorry, I don't know who that is." Towa said as they look to Setsuna.
"No, I never heard or met him either." Setsuna answered.
(Feudal Japan, with Kohaku and Hiusi)
"Setsuna is the daughter of Sesshōmaru! That means she's a Half-Demon, I guess that does explain why she is so powerful." Hiusi surprised.
"Please, tell us more." Kohaku begged a little to the elder woman, Kaede.
"This all took place fourteen years ago, one fateful day, Sesshōmaru arrived and left the village with his newborn twins." Kaede revealed, remembering that night.
"That was the last I saw of them until years later." Kaede remembered.
(Flashback, Years Ago)
Kaede is seen walking back to her little hut for her afternoon meditation until she senses a strong presence and turned around seeing a younger Setsuna.
"One day, Setsuna appeared at my door. She told me that she has come for a Right of Courage and Cowardice." Kaede said.
"I'll be in your care for a while." Young Setsuna said.
(Flashback End)
"What did she mean by a Right?" Kohaku asked curious.
"The lions will push their cubs into a bottomless riven, the young ones strong enough to climb their way out are the cubs the parent will raise. That is what known as the Right of Courage and Cowardice." Kaede explained.
"So, is that was Sesshōmaru is doing in order to train Setsuna?" Hisui asked.
"I cannot say for certain, it's a possibility." Kaede said.
"Back when I was younger, Lord Sesshōmaru used to help my pretty offend. But even though I spent so much time with him, understanding his true intentions was a challenge." Kohaku remembered those days.
"Wait, you said twins, so there's another child out there somewhere?" Hisui wondered.
"It does make me wonder; something gives me scare is knowing those two are uninformed Half-Demons. So, she may as well have already killed her sibling out of blind hate." Kaede feared as Hisui prayed that the old lady is wrong.
(Back in the Modern Era)
Touta finally let's go of Setsuna's weapon as he and Towa look at the long-lost twin sister who glares at them back.
"So, what do we do now, Towa?" Touta asked.
"I don't know, I was so looking forward to being reunited with my sister, I haven't thought about what to do next." Towa exclaimed.
"Well, I maybe new to this new world and all, but maybe I can make a suggestion sleeping in for the night." Moroha offered an idea.
"That's a good idea, I better call my mom." Touta agreed and took out his IPhone.
"So, how exactly do you know who my father even is?" Towa asked Moroha.
"Call it instinct, I just happen to know these sorts of things." Moroha said with a smug.
"Is that all?" Towa wondered if Moroha is telling the truth.
Suddenly something small and fast came out of the shadows and latched right onto Touta's left side of his face, much to the girls' shock and Towa's horror.
"Touta, are you okay?" Towa asked worry.
"That demon…" Setsuna glared at the now possessed Touta.
"Yeah, that's a Hitōkon and it has just chosen that kid as its host." Moroha said with a serious expression.
"Wait, so you're telling me that Touta is now being controlled!" Towa shocked.
"That's exactly what we're saying. Look out!" Moroha shoved Towa aside for both of them to dodge a punch from Touta that made a small crater.
"Touta, stop! It's me, Towa!" Towa tried to reason with him, but the possessed Touta just threw a punch making her dodge again.
But that wasn't all as the punch Touta just threw send a strong shockwave reaching all the way to Mei and the two elders.
"What's going on now!" Mei cried.
"It sure feels windy." Miss Granny Higurashi commented.
Now, Hitōkon-Touta jump high into the air looking at the family blankly and dangerously as it reels back his fist back then dive at them. They would have been crushed if Moroha hadn't come in at the last second saving the three from the punch, she careful sat them down.
"Are you all okay?" Moroha asked.
"Yes, we're fine. Thank you." Miss Granny Higurashi thanked.
"Touta, stop it! I know you can be an idiot sometimes, but this is taking it way too far!" Mei yelled.
"Sorry kid, but right now that's not the Touta you know and love anymore. All of you need to go hide somewhere now." Moroha ordered.
"Okay." Miss Granny Higurashi said as she and Mei ran to safety.
"You too, gramps." Moroha yelled at the old man.
"Oh, yes, of course." Grandpa Higurashi nodded and quickly join Mei and his daughter-in-law.
Moroha join in with Setsuna and Towa as they ready themselves to fight Hitōkon-Touta.
"Please tell me there's something we can do to save Touta?" Towa asked concern for her boyfriend.
"Hitōkon aren't a problem when it just by itself, the real problem is that it can control the power of its host." Moroha informed.
"Control his power! I never seen Touta use his demon power, but his physical strength." Towa mentioned.
"Doesn't matter, it's still going to be such a pain in the ass." Moroha annoyed as she grabbed the halt of her sword.
"You know, that girl really reminds me of her." Grandpa Higurashi pointed out.
"Yeah, I think you're right." Miss Granny Higuarshi noticed that too.
"What do you mean?" Mei asked.
"The girl in red, she looks like her, the look in her eyes, it's the same one like Kagome." Miss Granny Higurashi said.
Hitōkon-Touta charges at the girls throwing some strong punches as they dodge him, Moroha parry some attacks with the sheath and try slashing at him though he easily dodges them with good reflexes and kick on the stomach sending her crashing to the wall.
"Wow, that really hurts…" Moroha groaned in pain.
"Die!" Setsuna swinged her spear-blade at Touta who dodges it.
Setsuna swing her blade at Touta fiercely as the possessed Touta dodges them and counter with some punches of his own, she narrowly dodges them as she can feel the intense strength from each attack trying to make contact on her. Setsuna swing her Kanemitsu no Tomoe faster at Touta as he dodges it again, though got a cut on the left short sleeve with a tiny cut making it bleed a little, the Hitōkon-Touta threw a powerful uppercut that made rocks fly from the ground at Setsuna.
"I see, you are indeed strong. I may have to start acknowledging your strength." Setsuna said.
"Wait, Setsuna! Please don't hurt Touta, it's not his fault!" Towa begged.
"It's doesn't matter to me. Anyone who stands against me is my enemy." Setsuna stated shocking Towa.
"Cyclone Burst!" Setsuna unleashed her tornado attack.
Hitōkon-Touta look at the windy attack and decided to just jump right into it much to the Demon Slayer girl's shock, the possessed half-demon boy dives right in the certain of the storm for an axe-kick to the head.
"Oh no!" Setuna shocked, knowing she cannot dodge from this.
"Crimson Dragon Wave!" Moroha fired her crimson attack knocking Touta away and crashing into the ground.
"Damn, never knew the guy was this tough to withstand that." Moroha surprised.
"Indeed, I'll need to put more power into my attacks." Setsuna planned.
"No, I will not let you kill my boyfriend and that's that." Towa defended her beloved.
"That man is no longer you beloved, it's either saving yourself or get killed. There is no other choice." Setsuna pointed out.
"No way, I refuse to believe that. I will save Touta even if I have to do it by myself." Towa determined as she brought out her blue demonic energy sword.
"Hey now, before we get into the fighting. I think we should have the right to know that since Setsuna is a Demon Slayer, that must mean you have a potion for this kind of situation." Moroha believed, Setsuna just ignore her though Towa grabs her by the shoulder.
"You have something like that! Please, please you have to use it to save Touta." Towa begged.
"Get off, I don't take orders from you." Setsuna said angry.
Suddenly, a red-black aura blast shot out from the spot and flew right above the girls that certainly caught their attention as they turn their heads to Hitōkon-Touta who just got back up and his left arm glowing of red-black aura.
"Okay, I think the Hitōkon is starting to use his demon power now." Moroha pointed out surprise.
"Okay Touta, I know you like to fight sometime to make yourself stronger, but I think this is going a bit too far." Towa scolded.
"Scourge of Swallows!" Setsuna unleashed another of her attack, but Touta swat them away with his left arm.
"Damn it…" Setsuna cursed and saw Towa charging in.
The possessed Touta charges as well clashing his aura demonic fist against Towa demonic energy blade causing a strong shockwave between them, the power struggle seems to be evenly matched at first though the possessed Half-Demon is starting to push Towa back a few inches or more. Then he threw another punch to the face as Towa was able to dodge it by leaning herself backward and swing her sword at him, Towa start swing her blade at her controlled boyfriend as he blocks them with his demonic red-black aura left arm. Towa tries her best to fend off against suck powerful attacks from her boyfriend, but she got sent flying to a pillar despite blocking his attack again.
"Even though it may seem she is fighting strong, she is actually holding back. That fool, there is no holding back in a real battle even if it's against someone you know." Setsuna scolded then suddenly felt someone hugging her from the leg, she looks down to see the little girl.
"What are you doing here?" Setsuna gasped.
"Please, please you have to save him. Touta is really important to Towa. She always felt out of place through most of her life, but Touta came in and brought the light into her darkness. And I don't want to see Towa's happiness taken away. Please, say you'll help!" Mei begged with tears coming out.
Setuna maybe a lot of things like hard and stubborn by others, but it looks like not even she could ignore the cry from a little girl even though she won't show it on the outside.
"AAAAAHHHH?!" Towa screamed as she was sent flying again.
"Moon of the Resting Moth." Setsuna summoned glowing white moths and they managed to put the possessed to sleep. She then took out one of the pads containing a special powder that she sprinkles on Touta which forced the Hitōkon out of him and it died.
"Touta, thank goodness." Towa hugged her sleeping boyfriend in joy.
"Really, you had demon powder and you decided to use it now?" Moroha deadpanned.
"I used it, didn't I?" Setsuna asked back.
"Thank you so much, Setsuna. I was afraid something worst would have happened." Towa thanked.
"Like us stepping in." Isana and Honoka said together as they appear standing on top of the building.
"Huh, who are those two?" Moroha asked.
"Touta's little sisters, but why are they here?" Towa puzzled.
"Touta didn't come home like he usually should have, so we didn't come see what was going on." The mother explained.
"Miss Konoe!" Towa shocked as Setsuna and Moroha are shocked as well, sensing this woman is more than what she appears to be.
"It looks like something interesting happened here, hope you don't mind telling Madam Zero." Touta's mother, now name revealed as Zero, smiled.

So, Towa's reunion with her twin sister Setsuna was not what she was hoping for and the four Half-Demon teens had to go through a troubling little demon that took possession of Touta instead of Towa like in the anime. And now, his family has arrived at the scene as Towa and the girls are about learn more about Touta's mom, Zero and little about his family too.
