Chapter 3-Sunday Brunch
The 8 of them met for brunch at JP and Amelias place at 11. Luke felt right at home cooking alongside Amelia making breakfast for all. It was as if they had been cooking for everyone for years and not their first time. They all sat and ate and enjoyed each other's company. Everyone was sorry to see the weekend end.
Lorelai had reserved rooms for them at the Dragonfly. They were thrilled that everyone was able and wanted to attend.
As a family they decided that weekends and getting togethers like this were a must. Before they knew it, it was time to say goodbye and head back to Connecticut. After many rounds of hugs and kisses and Rory and Finn promising to come next weekend to pick up the rest of Rory's stuff, everyone parted ways.
As Rory sat on the sofa she said, " And to think at this time yesterday I was petrified of what people would think about our wedding, the babies and think about me. How silly of me. Thank you for an amazing weekend with family. I had so much fun."
Finn replied, "I am sorry you were nervous. You had nothing to be nervous about. I knew everyone would be surprised but I knew everyone would love you just as much as I do. I too had a great time with our family. I love having weekends like this with our family."
