Chapter One Part 1: Creating New Family Ties

"There are times in life where people come and go."

Alice's Pov

"That's why Jazz and I are on our way to Forks to see if my vision is true we want to know if Bella really is dead. Just because I didn't see her come back up doesn't mean that Bella is dead we know that the La Push pack has a new generation of wolves protecting the borders.

I know when Bella is in La Push because I can't see the wolves but when Bella is with Charlie I can see how much she misses us but Carlisle has given the edict that we can't contact her because he's got the idea in his head that Bella is Edward's mate but she isn't."

"I know this because when a vampire finds his or her mate they can't leave them even the thought of leaving their mate causes them unimaginable pain so when Edward made the decision and he didn't feel any pain I knew that they weren't mates.

I now have a sinking feeling that Edward is obsessively in love with the scent of Bella's blood as Jasper and I believe that Bella is Edward's singer so when Edward first came back from Alaska he must have misunderstood that Bella's soul wasn't calling to his, her blood was calling to his inner vampire."

"Ali? We are almost there do you want me to go straight to Bella's house or stop by the house? Jasper asked"

"Ah go straight to Bella's and park across from her house. Alice said"

"Okay. Jasper said"

Jacob's Pov

"We had just finished burning Victoria after she caused Harry Clearwater to have a heart attack when I heard Bella scream I raced to the cliffs just in time to see her go over the edge I quickly phased back and jumped over the edge after her.

I grabbed her arm after I found her she must have knocked her head against the rocks as she was just floating in the water and started swimming back to shore where I laid her on the sand then started doing chest compression's to get the water out of her throat and chest."

"Come on Bella breathe. I yelled"

"Jake? Bella asked

"Yeah Bells I'm right here, what the hell were you thinking when you jumped? I asked"

"I couldn't take the pain in my chest any more Jake I miss him. Bella said"

"So you thought committing suicide was a good idea you know that wasn't your only option right? I asked"

"Yeah I know, I could have gone to Jacksonville to go live with mum and Phil but I didn't want to be a burden to them. Bella said"

"Bells you have loads of people who love you and would be willing to help you get better, like me and dad. I said"

"Yeah I know Jake but this isn't anyone's but my own problem to deal with. Can you please take me home? Bella said/asked"

"Don't say that Bella, of course I'll take you home Bella just remember that you have a friend in me if you ever need to talk. I said"

"Thanks Jake I'll keep that in mind. Bella said"

"Hey Jake are you taking Bella home? Sam asked"

"Yeah Sam, I am. How's Harry doing? I said/asked"

"What happened to Harry? Bella asked"

"He had a heart attack Bella, he didn't make it. Ah also Seth and Leah have phased for the first time. Sam said"

"What the elders said that girls can't phase. I exclaimed"

"Well apparently girls can, I'll see you back at my place after you've dropped Bella home. Sam said"

"Yeah ok. I called"

(Time skip to outside Bella's house.)

Bella's Pov

"Bella are you going to be alright on your own? Jake asked"

"Yeah I'll be fine. I said"

"Bells I'm in love with you and I want you to choose me. Jake said"

"I'm really sorry Jacob but I just don't feel the same way, I see you as a little brother nothing more. I said"

"Na its fine I'll see you tomorrow. Jake said"

"Okay bye. I said"

"Bella wait. Jake called"

"What is it Jake? I asked"

"I can smell a vampire. Jake said"

"Who Victoria? I asked"

"No we killed her earlier no this is a new scent. Jake said"

"Wait that's Carlisle's car. I exclaimed"

"Are you sure? Jake asked"

"Yeah I'm sure I'll see you later Jake. I called"

"Bells wait…! Jake called"

"But I was already at the door."

"Go home Jake. I'll call you later. I called back to him"

"I was inside before he could answer. I had just closed the door when the light came on that's when I saw Alice and Jasper standing in the hallway."

"Alice, Jasper what are you guys doing here? I asked"

"I had a vision of you jumping off the cliff but I didn't see you come back up so Jazz and I came back to check that you are alright. Alice said"

"Wait? You can't see the pack? I asked confused"

"No I can't. Alice said"

"When did you find out about the pack? I asked"

"We found out about the pack before we left. Jasper said"

"Oh. Alice can I have a hug now? I asked"

"Yes of course Bella get over here. Alice said"

(Bella and Alice hug)

"Bella I'm really sorry about your birthday party. Jasper said"

"Jasper you don't have anything to apologize for it wasn't your fault, everything was fine until Dickward threw me into the glass dinnerware. You then had to feel five other people's bloodlust one of which was standing in a room with his singer and with yours on top. I explained"

"Huh, I never thought of it that way. Thank you Bella. Jasper said"

"You're welcome Jasper. Now come here I want to give you a hug. I said"

(Bella and Jasper hug)

"Ah, Bella family calls me Jazz. Jasper said"

"Thank you I'm honored that you consider me family. I said"

"Now why don't we sit down and catch up unless you have to go back to the Cullen's? I asked"

"No we don't have to go back yet, catching up sounds like a great plan. Jasper said"

"So how have You, Jasper, Carlisle, Esme, Rose and Emmett been since the family left Fork's? I asked"

"Carlisle and Esme have been alright but Esme has been missing you, Rose and Emmett have been on another honeymoon but Em miss's you to. The Family broke apart when we left you. Alice said"

"What's dickward been up to since he abandoned me in the forest in the back yard in the rain where I got hypothermia from getting lost in the forest stupidly trying to follow him. I asked/said"

"Edward left the family once we left Fork's, he had been holed away in an attic in Boston until recently he started trying to find Victoria but hasn't had any luck. Alice said"

"What have you and Jazz been up to since I last saw you? I asked"

"Well Jazz and I went hunting for information from my past, and well we've been missing you to. Alice said"

"Well I've missed you all so much to so what did you find out about your past Alice? I said/asked"

Oh yeah before I forget um the pack killed Victoria today. And before you ask yes they really did kill Victoria. Bella said"

"How did the pack manage to catch Victoria with her gift of knowing when she's in danger? Jasper asked"

"Victoria was distracted by one of Charlie's friends when she killed him while he was trying to protect Charlie from Victoria when the pack turned up, there was a human hunting party out in the forest being lead by Charlie looking for the pack as there had been sightings of the pack near murder sights that Laurent and Victoria had left behind. I explained"

"Bella? Why do you keep calling Edward anything but his name? Jasper asked"

"I went cliff diving in La Push because the pain in my chest had gotten to be too much and I couldn't see any other way to end the pain. But when I hit the water it was like I woke up from a nightmare the pain had finally gone.

Before I jumped it was like there was a fog or something over my mind making it impossible to forget Edward it caused me to continuously do life-threatening idiocy. But now I feel nothing for Edward but contempt and hatred. I explained"

"Well that's a relief as Edward isn't your mate, you're his singer. It's where a human's blood smells 100% more tempting to a certain vampire, Alice and I fear that Edward has become addicted to the scent of your blood. We believe that he falsely thinks that you're both mates and that he's been using the vampire lure on you.

We're not sure what his end game was or is but we believe that you're in danger from him; we need to take you to your actual mate before Edward comes back for you. Jasper said/explained"

"Can't you just go to Carlisle to tell him that I'm not Edward's mate and that he's become obsessed with my blood with the delusion that I'm his mate? I asked"

"No Carlisle has given the edict that we can't interfere with Edward's bond with you because he's got the idea in his head that you're his mate but you're not. I know this because when a vampire finds his or her mate they can't leave them even the thought of leaving their mate causes them unimaginable pain so when Edward made the decision to leave you and he didn't feel any pain I knew that you both weren't mates. Alice explained"

"Well I've missed you all so much too like crazy except Edward of course. So what did you find out about your past Alice? I asked"

"Well my full mane is Mary Alice Brandon I had a little sister called Cynthia I was born in Biloxi, Mississippi in 1886, I had a hard-working father he was a jeweler and my mother kept the house, myself and my sister clean and tidy. While I was still human I was prone to having premonitions of the future so my parents put me in an asylum, while I was in the asylum my mother and father were killed in a fire my little sister was the only survivor.

There was a vampire at the asylum that helped me escape James when he found my scent, the vampire but me then he went to lead James away from me and ended up being killed by James in the process of protecting me, My little sister Cynthia grew up, she got married to a jeweler and had a baby girl named Lizzy. Lizzy is also still alive and living in Biloxi. Alice said"

"Oh, wow that's a lot of information you found out about yourself Alice. Did you ever find the graves fro you and your family? I asked"

"No, I didn't I found out that my parents died in 1898, my sister and her husband died around 1980." Alice explained"

"Oh wow. I said"

"Alice? Alice what did you see? Jazz asked"

"It's Edward Rose told him why we came here he thinks that Bella is dead. Alice said"

"What why the FUCK would he think that when he was the one that said that he didn't want me and never loved me in the first place so why would he care if I was dead or not? I exclaimed"

"I don't know Bella but we're going to need your help to stop him from getting himself killed. Alice said"

"Of course if only for Esme, I better go pack a bag and write a note for Charlie so he knows what's happening. I said"

"Of course, I'll ring the airlines and book us some tickets. Jasper said"

"Bella? Your dad is back. Alice called"

Charlie's Pov

"Bell's you home? I called

"In the lounge dad we've got visitors. Bella called"

"Who's her…? I started to say"

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU BASTARDS DOING HERE IN FORKS LET ALONE MY HOUSE? I SCREAMED"

"Char-Dad easy Alice and Jasper are here to apologize and check up on me after the family had a massive argument over the Cullen siblings not being allowed to contact me after Edward forbade the family from having any contact with me when they left Forks. Bella explained"

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN THAT FUCKWARD FORBADE HIS SIBLING FROM HAVING ANY CONTACT WITH YOU? WHO THE FUCK DOES HE THINK HE IS? I screamed & asked"

"Chief my brother is many things but having any idea about females is not one of them. I told Edward that the way he planned to break up with Bella was extremely cruel but he wouldn't listen to me, I didn't know just how bad it was until Bella told us what Edward did it is extremely despicable. Alice explained"

"Alice you know that you can call me Charlie. I apologize from screaming at you, thank you for at least caring about Bella enough to come back to apologize for what happened. But it isn't you that should be here apologizing to Bella and I and begging for our forgiveness for what that BASTARD did to my baby girl. I explained/said"

"Charlie I promise you that Edward will never get the chance to break Bella the way he did when we left last September I would sooner kill him than let him anywhere near Bella's heart. Jasper promised"

"Thank you son that gives me great peace to know that you and Alice don't condone what THAT WANKER did to Bella but to also love her enough to protect her above your own Coven. I said"

"Wait what? Bella exclaimed"

"Bella I've always know what and who the Cullen's are even before they moved here. You probably don't remember him but our many times great grandfather saved your life when you and Renee lived in New York he stopped one of Renee's ex's from kidnapping and raping you. I explained"

"Wait do you mean Uncle Royce? Bella asked"

"Yeah I do Bella. I said"

"I was on my way up to your house in New York for our annual holiday when I got the phone call that you were in the hospital getting checked over after you were brought in by our grandfather Peter. I explained"

"Charlie what was Royce's last name? Also what is Peter's last name? Jasper asked"

"Royce's last name was King and Peter's last name is Whitlock. I said"

"You know Jasper I should hate you for changing my great grandfather but thank you so much if it hadn't been for that fact my daughter would have been killed that day. I said"

"Charlie I've never been more thankful that I changed Peter all those year's ago than I am right now. Our family never would have been the same had Bella not made it and we hadn't met her. Jasper explained"

"SHIT Rose isn't going to like that. Alice swore"

"Alice why wouldn't Rosalie like that Royce almost attacked me? Bella asked"

"Oh Bella I hate to tell you this but Rosalie despises you she wouldn't care if you had been raped and killed, all she would care about is that her rapist was able to reproduce before she killed him plus his mates. Jasper explained"

"Why does she hate me so much I never did anything to her? Bella asked"

"I can answer that Bells she hates you because your human and you were willing to give up everything that entails for Edward to change you into a vampire. I explained"

"DAD! How did you know about that? Bella exclaimed"

"Peter has a gift like Alice's but he doesn't see picture's just get information that his gift feels is important. I explained"

"Peter also told me that after your eighteenth birthday that you would need to go to Italy to be with your actual mate and to keep this information for DICKWARD. I'm sorry if that upsets you that Edward lied about being your mate Bells. I explained"

"Dad I already know that Edward isn't my mate Alice and Jasper told me. Also after going cliff jumping in La Push I feel absolutely nothing for that douche bag. Bella explained"

"Alice, Jazz and I were actually getting ready to head out to find Edward as Rosalie called him and told him that I was dead so he apparently wants to die as well. Alice needs me to go to stop him for Esme because Edward won't believe that I'm alive coming from her but you came home before we left. Bella explained"

"We believe that Edward is heading towards Volterra, Italy to see the Volturi. Jasper explained"

"Well if he is that would be every fortuitous as Bella's mate is in Volterra. So you would be killing two birds with one stone so to speak. I said"

"Charlie are you planning on going to your friend's funeral? Alice asked"

"Yes why Alice? I asked"

"Alice?" Bella asked"

"One of the pack is here, I can smell them outside. Alice said"

"SHIT it's probably Jacob I better go see what he wants. Bella swore"
