Phantom concentrated, his ecto-energy filled his hands and he, very carefully, probed the air in front of him searching for something that coulndt be seen or touched. He was looking for a weak spot in the dimensional veil that separated the infinite realms with the living world. Suddenly he found a small difference in the ectoplasm, Danny tried to rip through it when…
ZAP!
"Ouch!" Danny exclaimed in pain cradling his hand to his chest.
"Told you, it is not easy to open" the werewolf ghost beside him spoke in Esperanto.
"Yeah I know, but I really want to learn this Wulf, it's so cool and it would make a lot of things easier" Danny said while shaking his hand to get rid of the lingering pain.
"What things would be more easy?" Wulf asked curiously.
"Well, sending ghosts to the Zone without having to trap them in the thermos is one of them, also opening this portal wherever I want to visit my ghost friends is super convenient" Danny explained.
"I see" Wulf nodded, he understood the freedom of making your own portals and was determined to help his friend make his own.
"Yeah, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong here" Danny groaned in frustration, he's been practising with Wulf for hours and he hasn't made much progress.
"Try to make claws" Wulf suggested.
"Why?" Danny asked.
"With sharp claws better rips the veil" Wulf explained.
"That makes some sense" Danny said, "ok, I'll try it!"
Danny put his ecto-energy through his hands once more and tried to form the energy into pointy claws. When he had a somewhat stable claws he tried to rip open a portal once more, this time instead of an unstable discharge he saw how a small portal, the size of his small finger opened and closed after five seconds.
"I did it!" Danny exclaimed in happiness.
"Good start!" Wulf nodded approvingly.
"Now I need to make them bigger" Danny said.
"Yes, give claws more power" Wulf happily suggested, excited by his friend's success.
"Alright!" Danny said and prepared his ecto-claws once more.
