A/N: And this is where 8 year old me just stopped.

James sat in the RV, staring out of a window at the entire neighborhood. He wonder who designed it's flying ability. He looked around to see the well designed interior, which included a couch, a table with a pot filled with pretzels instead of dirt, a pair of fuzzy dice on the review mirror and much more. James' thoughts turned back to his family. He wondered how they were doing. He hoped they were all right.

"We have reached our destination." Penny said. James felt a thump as the sentient RV landed on the ground. Mia walked over to James and said, "Alright, let's get your things." She didn't make any effort of hiding the bored sound in her voice. James and the plant left the RV and walked over to the small Pharmacy building. James tried to open the but it wouldn't budge.

"It's locked." James said. He supposed he could try to see if anyone hiding inside could let him in or try picking the locker.

"I got this." Mia said. "Stand back if you like having your knees." James took a few steps back as the tiny mushroom girl muttered something, began to spin in the air. She began a blur of smoke, legs and hands as she darted all across the entire front window before slamming down right front of it. The window make several cracking noises before the glass exploded.

"Wow..." James said. Mia rolled her eyes as James climbed through. As he looked for the right stuff he needed, a man poked his head out from behind a counter, looked a James, then at the window.
"HEY! What the heck did you do that for?! Don't you know this place is crawling with zombies? I need that to keep me safe!"

"Sorry. So sorry." James said. He pulled out a fistful of cash and handed it to him.

"Will that help?" He asked.

"This is enough to buy wooden boards to cover half the window! No, it won't be enough!"

Mia groaned and hopped up onto the window.

"For the love of God, James. Just grab your stuff and go!" She said.

"He's not leaving until he fixes this window!" The man called. "I don't care who or what you are, but-!" He was cut off by a THUNK as tiny, purple, crescent shaped object hit the wall a nanometer away from the man's neck. His eyes widened and lifted a shaky hand to feel his neck.

"Okay..." He said nervously. "Y-you can go..." Mia sighed and muttered "coward" before jumping down and walking back to Penny. James gave one last look at the man before returning to the RV as well.

Mia jumped onto Penny and plopped herself on the couch. James climbed in and sat on the chair across from her. Phillip looked up from a movie he was watching on the built in TV and said, "Okay. Now we head to your house, James. Penny already located your house based on your looks so no need to tell us your address."

"I really can do all, can I?" Penny spoke up. Once again, they were airborne and Mia sighed. She laid her head down on one of the armrests of the couch and fell asleep.

Mia was awoken by Penny landing. She sat up, yawned and got off the couch.

"Alright James." She heard Phillip say. "I don't want to put pressure on you but let's try to make this quick. Zombies are still around here."

"Okay" James replied. The trio left Penny and James approached the front door. It was already morning and some sprinklers were going off. Phillip stared longingly at them and James said, "You can water yourself next to them if you want." Philip nodded and walked over to the sprinklers and dug his roots right next to it. He looked at Mia, who said, "I'm good. I don't need water just yet."

"Suit yourself." Phillip replied as Mia walked over to the porch. She noticed a tree with a little treehouse on it and a gate on the side of the house. She jumped over it with skill only a nightcap could pull off and landed on her feet on the other side. Mia saw a sandbox, a few more sprinklers and a shed way in the back. The nightcap turned to see a pot hanging on a tree branch with some vines draping down. Mia resisted the urge to talk to it, knowing that not all plants were sentient like her. Mia suddenly heard a noise and positioned herself in a combat stance. She scanned the yard before laying eyes on a figure hiding behind the sandbox. Mia shifted her position and entered Shadow Sneak, a move where the user uses every single shadow of anything to hide themselves. Mia darted past the sandbox and exited Shadow Sneak, jumping in the air. She was about to plant a Spore Strike throwing moon in the back of the figure's head when it turned around, revealing itself to be a young girl, who shouted in surprise. All thought of killing instantly left Mia's head as she was smacked by a small plastic shovel. She landed on the ground with an OOMPH. She lay there, blinking as her head emitted a dull throbbing. Mia sat up, shook her head and looked at the girl, who was staring at her, a mix of bewilderment and fear on her face, as she tried to grab something else to throw. The sound of door opening was heard as a door leading inside the house was opened. James and another, much older, man ran out and the girl got and darted for the older person, hugging his legs.

"Greeeat. MORE humans" She thought.

"Kaia!" The older man snapped. "What did I tell you about going outside?!"

"But Daddy," Kaia said. "I wanted to talk to Fredrick!" The man turned to face Mia, who was too dazed and confused to go back into Shadow Sneak, and said, "Who are you? Get out of here!" James, who finally decided to speak, said, "Dad, it's fine. She's-"

"Not now, James!" The man, who Mia guessed was the father, considering all this "Dad" being spoken to him, interrupted. He grabbed a broom, which was leaning against the wall, and pointed the tip of the handle in Mia's direction.

"Get out before I make you get out." He said.

"Dad, please!" James shouted, trying to grab the broom out of his father's hands. "Mia is harmless. She just gets a little tense!"

"Yeah, tense when your daughter is spying on me!" Mia joined in. "How was I supposed to know she wasn't going to try and kill me?! Zombies and humans look exactly the same! Believe, I've fought zombies before."

"You don't look like Fredrick, and HE fights zombies." Kaia called back in a matter of fact voice that REALLY got on Mia's nerves. She started to regret sparing her.

"Well-! Wait," Mia said. "Who is Fredrick?"

"I believe it's time for me to join in." An elderly voice said. Everyone turned to see the plant with vines moving around. Two golden eyes peered out from the tangle of vines and the plant spoke, saying, "What is going on here, Kaia?" it's eyes focused on Mia and it said, "Ah, a Nightcap. I haven't seen one in years. And a FEMALE one. Hah, mostly the men show themselves, the women are more….stealthy." Kaia ran over to the talking plant and hugged a group of it's vines before turning back towards her dad and saying, "See, Daddy? I TOLD you Fredrick was real!"

"I-I..." Was the dad's only reply. James looked at him and said, "Dad, I need to tell you something."

A/N: Yeah, I have no clue what the actual things that Nightcap throws are called but when looking at them, they look like crescent moons and since the plant is called NIGHT-cap, I figured throwing moons would be a good name for them and I ain't changing it. Also, I have NO clue what plant from PvZ Fredrick is supposed to be. I literally looked over to my dresser, looked at my Dolphin Plant sitting on top of it and BOOM, an OC was born!
