A Blue Moon In Your Eyes
Chapter 3
Loud chattering echoed around the room. Every minister and counselor was assembled around the table, waiting for their queen. After last night's incidents no one in Arendelle slept peacefully. The violent trembling, the earth giants and the Trolls kept them agitated. What made them more confused is that the earth giants were gone this morning. Everything then was dangerously peaceful.
The chatter dispersed as their queen entered the room. Everyone stood up and greeted her. Anna just nodded stunned for a second. She has never experienced such a welcome. Especially in a council meeting. Olaf came behind her and took a seat before anyone could sit. Anna never left the sight of Olaf since yesterday night. She took him wherever she went.
After Anna sat, everyone took their seat and waited for Anna's permission to let them speak. "Okay go on. Spill the beans." As soon as she spoke, the room filled with a number of questions.
"Your Majesty what is happening?"
"What were the earth giants doing there?"
"Where is your sister?"
"What did the Trolls say?"
Anna just sat there processing each question that had been asked to her. "Wow these people ask more questions than me Anna.", Olaf giggled. "Everyone please stay quiet.", Counselor Willam McCall's voice came. "Let her majesty speak."
Anna raised both eyebrows at him. But she quickly turned her head towards the group who were waiting for her to answer. "Okay. So the thing is that I don't even know what is going on in here. I don't know why the earth giants were there last night. The Trolls warned us to stay safe. So I guess something bad happened. And that might be the reason for my sister's sudden disappearance. But the trolls didn't tell me what happened there and sooo yeah… that's all I know.", Anna finished with a pout.
Everyone in the room just stared at her. "Your Majesty, the people are in fear. We should do something before they move away to the nearby kingdoms.", Lady Nora who was sitting opposite Counselor McCall spoke. "Yes Your Majesty. If the people move away, the kingdoms nearby will be armed to the teeth seeing our vulnerability.", said the Minister Defence. "And Your Majesty you know that we don't have enough force to defend.", said Lieutenant Wnfield.
"First of all stop this nonsense. Our people are not going anywhere. They will be staying here. I'll go and visit the families who are scared. If the people need anything the crown will provide them generously. And for that you must stop scaring them by these 'war' threats.", Anna said firmly to the council.
"I agree with you Your Majesty.", Bishop Andre spoke up. "Arendelle's people are not cowards to go away. We will stand for our soil even when the earth splits. For I know my Lord God is with me. He will protect me from anything.", he said.
"Bishop Andre, we are not keeping Sunday masses here. So stay quiet.", Minister Lawurence huffed with annoyance. "But what about your sister Your Majesty? Where is she?", Lady Kinsley asked her.
Anna's face showed complete sadness and worry. "I don't know. She has been missing since yesterday night."
"Your grace are you telling that she is taken? Or maybe the Northuldra is keeping her.", Counselor McCall's voice came. Everyone turned their heads to him, wondering what he ment. "What are you trying to prove, counselor?"Anna asked him, confused.
"Your Majesty, we haven't received any information from the forest where your sister is staying. What if they were the ones who took your sister for a pay back to Arendelle for what we've done to them? What if they threaten us Your Majesty?", he asked her.
Before Anna could object to him, General Mattias' voice rose from the corner. "I'm sorry to interrupt Your Majesty. But may I have your permission to speak?", he asked her. Anna nodded. "Counselor, from the day the late king passed away, I was infuriated with the Northuldra. But I must say, they are neither two faced nor sneak dissing. I have known them for thirty five years. I have never seen them doing something behind our back. So please watch your words.", he said.
"Okay but what about her highness? Isn't she the snow queen? Isn't she the one who is stronger than a hundred men? Why has she gone missing? And if she was taken or captured shouldn't we be alarmed by the captur who took her?", McCall asked Anna.
"Counselor, we don't know what happened there. So we cannot conclude with anything. I'll go to Northuldra and see how things are. And by that we may get some clue.", Anna said, satisfied with her idea.
"Your Majesty you can't leave the kingdom like this! The people will look to you for guidance.", Lady Nora told her. "I agree. Your Majesty I'll send my men to go search your sister. We'll have them keep in touch everyday. And I think the Northuldrens will be on their way to meet you.", Mattias told her.
Anna thought for a moment. "Okay, but one thing. If it takes too long to find her, then I'll go to search her. Deal?", she asked.
Mattias agreed with her. In fact it will not take too long to find her. "Didn't Pabbie tell you this Anna, 'She will not be found for a period of time. She is being guarded by the four spirits. She will be brought to you when the time has come.", Olaf imitated Pabbie's voice.
"Yeah but it's not a bad thing to go search for her. Or at least try?", Anna asked him. "Whatever.", Olaf said and continued scribbling in his notebook.
"Soo what are we going to do?", Kristoff asked Anna who was lying flat on her bed. "I don't know. Everything is so confusing!", she said as she hugged her sister's pillow. "I wish Elsa was here right now."
"Anna, everything will be fine. Your sister is guarded. That's what Pabbie said to you didn't he?", he asked.
"Why is she being guarded? That is what makes me scared. What happened to her Kristoff?", she asked him. "I wish I had an answer for your question.", he said.
"You know what? The only thing we need now is patience. We should just wait for a miracle to happen. Maybe you can wish Rider and Honeymaren to come here so that you will have a few answers.", Olaf told her lying on the floor.
"Not many wishes come true Olaf.", Kristoff told him. "Do you know that wishes come true if we truly believe in them?", Olaf said.
Just then someone knocked on the door. "Your Majesty?" It was Kai. "Two of them from the Northuldra widhes to see you mam.", he said. Anna jumped on her feet and ran.
Only Olaf and Kristoff were left in the room. "See, I told you.", Olaf said. "Shut up and come with me.", Kristoff groaned. Olaf just giggled.
Ryder just had his mouth wide open from when he entered the castle. He has never seen a building so big like this before. "Close that mouth of yours Ryder, a bird might lay an egg on that.", Honeymaren teased him.
Currently they were sitting in the ballroom, waiting for Anna to come. Ryder groaned. "I haven't seen these kinds of things in my entire life. Why don't you let me enjoy them!", he whined. Honeymaren rolled her eyes.
A sudden burst of the door startled them. "Honeymaren! Ryder!", Anna called them out. The siblings looked at her and stood up. "Hi Anna.", they greeted her. Kristoff and Olaf came after her.
"Is Elsa here with you?", she asked them. The siblings just shook their heads. "That is why we came here to see you.", Honeymaren told her. "What do you mean?", Anna asked.
" We couldn't visit you yestersay because the forest was covered in mist. That evening we were told that a few kids went missing. We called the spirits for help but no one answered. So we ended up splitting and searching the whole forest. And ot of nowhere these kids returned and told us that some sort of ninja came and saved them."
"A ninja? Where was Elsa then?"Anna asked worriedly. "We don't know. She was really moody, a few days. She wouldn't eat or drink properly. But thanks to Yelena and her strict and stern nature, she made her eat and sleep." Ryder said worriedly. "She fell asleep within a fraction of seconds. I never knew that Yelena was that comfy."
"She fell asleep quickly because she was very tired, genious. Not because Yelena was comfy." She turned to Anna. "But yeah she fell asleep so quickly on her. But the next evening she went missing along with the kids."
"Missing?"
"Yeah missing. But we suspect that HevnSeier are the ones behind this." Honeymaren's eyes were filled with worry and anger.
"The who?", Anna and Kristoff asked the siblings.
"The HevnSeier. They are the worst people in the whole universe. The only thing they think about is power and wealth. Very very greedy minded dumbs!" Ryder exclaimed.
"So you think that Elsa is taken or kidnapped?"
"We don't think so. If she was taken, they would have started attacking us now. I think she is somewhere else. And only Atahollan knows where." They sighed.
"Then what about the other spirits? What was their reaction?" Kristoff asked them.
"They are around us but they never tell us anything. If we ask about your sister, they would just pretend that they didn't hear our question."
Anna sighed. She felt vulnerable and hurt. Hurt, as it was because if her, Elsa didn't eat properly. Vulnerable becuse she didn't know what to do. She will be brought to you. She heard the words of Pabbie. But why brought? Why not found? The situation made her head spin with confusion.
Where are you Elsa? Why are you hiding from us? Anna thought tearfully.
Loot: Thank you for reviewing. I thought the same too but I read that Anna is a little short tempered and she reacts before she thinks. Soo I wrote it that way :D.
Guest: I'm sorry that you don't prefer Frozen but hey, you can go read Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen whenever you want. No one is going to stop you during this quarantine :).
Anti-Frozen fans: I don't know what Anti-Frozen fans are doing in a Frozen story. If you don't like it, why do you read it? Please don't type these kinds of things. This is my story and I have the right to write it don't I?
Arnaldr: Wow you have my username. I'm sorry but I love the snow sisters :).
Thank You!
