A/N: Something I'd really appreciate is to see more Erma fanfictions be made. I can't be the only one making them.
It has been a few weeks since The Slayers' arrival in Blairwood and living with the Williams Family. Between helping out around the house and having talk sessions with Sam, he became somewhat more stable. He still kept his weaponry and other treasures in the guest room, which he had since outfitted into his own personal pad, just like back on the Fortress of Doom.
He had taken up a few of his hobbies from his old world in the new world as well, such as music. Knowing that heavy metal would probably disturb the Williams Family, The Slayer had taken up new forms of music, such as acoustic and klezmer.
He had also gotten around to befriending all of Erma's friends. Terry and Connor especially looked up to him as a male role model while Amy, Miko, and Sylvia had a bit of a precocious crush on him, but they were just children, they'd grow out of it eventually.
Other times, he'd actually help out Emiko with cooking for the family. Though he couldn't exactly cook demons th way he did back in his old world, he had taken up cooking regularly in the new world like a duck to water. Emiko was honestly impressed with how much of a natural that the Slayer had proven himself to be.
He even enjoyed watching Warrior Unicorn Princess with Erma, as well as many old classic horror films like Friday the 13th, Evil Dead, Halloween, and Nightmare on Elm Street. Considering what he had seen in his life, the horror in those movies barely fazed him.
Meeting Erma's current babysitter Felicia was an interesting experience for The Slayer, to say the least.
Sam and Emiko had one of their rare date nights and got the young dark-skinned teenager with black hair to babysit Erma for the evening and to keep him company. When she got a good look at him, she had the same amazed yet excited look on her face just like Terry did when he first saw him.
"Oh my gosh! The Doomguy is real?! YOU'RE real?! This is amazing!"
The Slayer chuckled. He had been getting a lot of those reactions from the people in Blairwood these days and he doubted it was going to stop now. Erma immediately rushed over to give Felicia a big hug as the older girl laughed.
"Hey, you Little Monster, nice to see you again. Are you behaving for your new friend or are you causing trouble for him as well?" Felicia teased as she hugged Erma back and messed with her hair a bit which earned her a cute pout from the young half-ghost girl.
The Slayer shook his head, reassuring Felicia that Erma hadn't been too much for him to handle. Soon enough, the three of them were watching old horror movies along with some homemade pizza that The Slayer had cooked up himself.
Both The Slayer and Felicia talked a little about themselves, Felicia mentioned that she goes to the local High School and that Erma's friend Slyvia is her little sister. Babysitting is usually her main job as she's good with kids and isn't bothered by the strange and oddest things.
The Slayer mentioned some of his exploits fighting against the scourge of Hell, as well as his mishaps on Mars and his battles against Olivia Pierce, the Icon of Sin, the Kahn Makyr, and finally the Dark Lord.
"Wow, you did all of that and came out the victor? That must have been a pretty tough battle."
The Slayer nodded, it was quite the experience. He even had to admit he enjoyed those battles, as they were the ones that made him feel most alive in his long and tiring existence. However, those days were done and he had achieved his goal. Now, there was only settling down in the new world.
After messing around with some Voodoo Dolls and reading up some of Erma's Spell Books for fun, eventually, Erma got tired and had to be put to bed.
She needed some help from Felicia in getting to the bathroom to brush her teeth before getting tucked in for bed and having the door to her room closed.
"Night kiddo, see ya next time."
Felicia headed downstairs just as The Slayer finished cleaning the plates they used in the Kitchen.
"Hey, thanks for having ya around. Erma behaved a little better than usual."
The Slayer chuckled as he and Felicia bumped fists just as Sam and Emiko came home from their date. As she left, Felicia made it a point to give The Slayer her phone number in case he wanted to hang out, which he gladly accepted, having recently acquired a phone of his own a while ago.
*Omake 1: Wallace's Mistake*
The Slayer was looking around Erma's room, cleaning it up for her while she was at school. He made a mental note never to let Erma anywhere near caffeine, as Felicia had warned him about one instance of her drinking her coffee and trashing the living room.
Now, The Slayer was never one to show fear, but he definitely was a little unnerved by just how much power Erma had. He even met an old man who seemed to have quite a lot of knowledge in the paranormal who warned him that Erma could potentially bring about the end of the world if she was not properly tamed in her powers.
The Slayer made a vow that he wouldn't let Erma become corrupted by whatever dark prophecy fate had in store for her. He had defied the will of the Kahn Makyr and had even sacrificed much by going against the Night Sentinel ways, and he would not stop now. In his own personal opinion, Fate could suck a Mancubus' dick.
As he was cleaning up Erma's dolls, which for some reason included a Raggedy Ann doll that may or may not be the original cursed Annabelle doll, The Slayer noticed a ventriloquist dummy that looked eerily similar to Slappy from Goosebumps.
That was when the dummy began to speak and giggle creepily. "Oh ho what's this? A body with the power of the Chaos Gods? Yes, you'll do nicely and once I get my hands on that ghost girl we will play every day….we will play FOREV…URK!"
The Slayer grabbed the dummy and glared at him. The dummy, Wallace, could see through The Slayer's helmet and felt his eyes burning into him. He could feel the tranquil rage and for some reason, heavy metal music began playing from out of nowhere.
"I think errors have been made here!"
Girlish screams echoed from the Williams' household as Wallace was violently mangled beyond belief by The Slayer, who would not allow the demonic-possessed dummy to threaten Erma.
The Slayer had to thank the dummy, however, as he needed to do some ripping and tearing to get a feel of his muscles again. He didn't want to go stagnant, after all.
Wallace made it a habit to get as far away from The Williams Family house as fast as possible after just barely surviving having his lower jaw ripped off as well as both his arms and his legs. He then made it a promise to himself to find God and change his ways.
Nobody fucks with the Doom Slayer.
*Omake 2: Training*
Connor was shaking as he held the old UAC Charged Energy Pistol in his hand. The Slayer had offered to give him some pointers in using it, while set to Stun Mode, of course.
"Just steady your feet and concentrate your eyes on the target. Deep breaths, boy." The Slayer advised as he put a gentle hand on Connor's shoulder and pointed at the target with the other. Connor swallowed the lump in his throat and pulled the trigger as a searing bolt of light blue energy flew out and pierced the bullseye.
"W-Whoa! I-I did it!"
The Slayer smiled behind his helmet and gave Connor a pat on the back, proud of the young lad's accomplishment.
