She woke up yawning. She slept so good. Went downstairs and directly sat down to have breakfast. Others started to sit too. She directly started to fill her mouth.

"Where do you think Jin's at? It's been pretty late." Forest said.

"I'll check him." Xiaoyu was getting up. But Nina's brain started to work then. She remembered what she's done.

"No!" She exclaimed. Everyone looked at her confusedly. She swallowed the food she's been chewing.

"I'll check, you can sit." she said calmly and stood up without waiting for any answers.

She quickly walked to his room.

Fuck, I forgot. Fuck, fuck!

She reached the door but the door was open. There were no forcing marks but it was open.

Oh no!

She got in and checked around. He wasn't anywhere. Neither in the room nor in the bathroom. He escaped.

She rushed to the hall to others.

"He isn't there, he escaped!"

"What are you talking about?"

"I'll check the gun room." She quickly headed to basement where they keep their guns.

Right then, someone hold her wrist to stop her. She turned back to see.

"Good morning." Jin said. He was looking directly at her eyes and his grip rather tight and firm.

Then he turned to the others. He raised his other hand to show the bag on his hand.

"I collected some mushrooms for the dinner. A vegetarian protein source." he smiled.

"Tonight's dinner is from you then?" Forest asked.

He nodded. He was still holding Nina's wrist. She can tell he was angry by the roughness of his grip.

She pulled her hand strongly to get rid of him.

He showed her the way to the table. They all had breakfast. After that Nina whispered to Forest's ear "Today it's your turn to guard the house. I have works to do outside."

"Why are we guarding the house for god's sake?" He asked with a louder voice then hers.

"Shhh! We still don't know him Forest. Don't be stupid."

"Alright, alright." He sighed.

She left after Hwoarang and Xiaoyu left. First she checked the area then she went to the city centre. Her ultimate goal was to rescue her sister from the hands of Mishimas. She went to a cafe to meet someone. A woman with a dashing look came in and sit in front of Nina.

"Hi Nina."

"Hi, Julia. Do you have any updates?"

Julia was helping Nina find her sister by being close to the man caused Anna to fell into Mishimas' hands. That man was no other than Lee Chaolan.

"Nina, I guess you're after wrong man. He never contacts them, or mentions. He simply does nothing related to them."

"But he did in the past. Maybe we can learn about those times."

"How should I do that? He doesn't trust me that much to tell about his past."

"I don't know, but can you try? We both need to take Mishimas down, for my sister and your mother, right? Please keep helping me."

"Of course I will. I just don't know what I am doing is taking us to the right path. Anyway, still I'll do it. I'll try. Don't worry."

Nina got latest information from her. Then they separated.

She stopped by their gun and ammo suppliers to get a new gun. She bought a katana to workout with Kunimitsu.

She turned back before the evening. But she found no one other than Jin. He was in kitchen and was preparing mushrooms for the dinner.

"What are you doing?" He realised she came when he heard her.

"Cooking."

"Where's Forest?"

"I don't know, he left when Hwoarang came. They left together."

She got angry to him. How could they left him here alone?

"First you went out for mushrooms, now cooking." She said. "You are healing I see."

"Trying to leave here before you kill me." He looked at her.

"How could you open the door?" She asked. How could he opened the door so easily without a key?

"I prefer to keep it secret for my further days here. For my own safety..."

"Sorry but there is no way I can simply trust you. And I refuse to lower my guard around you. Nothing personal."

He didn't say anything.

"What is your connection to the Mishimas?" She asked again.

"Why would I trust you and answer?" He said while chopping the mushrooms.

"Fair enough." She shrugged. "You'll leave soon anyway."

The door has opened and someone entered. It was Kunimitsu for sure because she was the only one who doesn't announce their enterance.

Nina took the katana she bought with excitement and took it to her.

"Hey Kunimitsu, I bought this so we can practice from now on."

Jin was surprised to see her showing some positive emotions.

Kunimitsu and Nina went to the garden to test the katana.

Why only she was like this? Other were rather warm and easygoing but she... How could she lock the door of his room? What a woman, really!

He really wanted to payback to her. But what could he do without offending the others?

In the middle of their workout, Nina and Kunimitsu heard the noise of motorbike of Hwoarang. They were back. Forest got off but Hwoarang turned back to pick Xiaoyu up from her school. Forest saw them and approached.

"Dang, look at that! Looking sharp Nins." He winked as if the joke was any good. "You know, the katana, it is sharp."

"Where the heck are you? Why did you left him alone?"

"Shut up, we reached a fucking great information. Mishimas are planning a science fair in near future. We should learn more and plan something. And I need to pee right now, bye." He left them and got in.

"A fair? We should definitely get in. Might find something about our people."

Kunimitsu nodded.

They kept practicing till the dinner. Then they all got in.

"The old man is still fasting?" Hwoarang asked.

"Yes, still meditating." Xiaoyu answered.

"Damn, I wouldn't stand for half a day."

"You can stand even for an hour." Nina mocked him.

"Right, let's eat!!! What do we have, is it soup?"

"It's kinda spicy, so be careful." Jin said and served the bowls.

"How spicy? I can't eat too much spicy." Nina said.

"Not that much."

"Stop crying, even Xiao can eat it easily." Forest said.

"What do you mean, I love spicy!" Xiaoyu said.

Forest shushed her secretly. Xiaoyu didn't get it. Then he slurped great amount of it.

"It's nothing."

Nina still waited for everyone's reaction.

"Come on, don't be a chicken. I bet you can't drink as much as I did." Nina frowned. Everyone seemed okay and she really wanted to shut him up.

"You say so?" She pick up the bowl.

"Do it, do it, do it!"

She slushed nearly half of it down. First there was nothing. Then it started to hit slowly.

"Uh-oh. What's happening?" It didn't stop, kept burning her more and more.

She stood up "You said it's not that mu- Ah, fuck! What is that?"

She rushed to the fridge to take some milk.

"Fucking hell!" normally she wouldn't swear if Xiaoyu was around but she couldn't hold it back.

Forest was laughing. It was his doing. Actually it was Jin's and his. Jin wanted to payback and Forest suggested this. He knew she couldn't stand too much spice and her bowl was extra spicy.

"Are we sure we are eating the same thing?" Hwoarang took a spoon from her bowl.

"Aaah, the fuck is that?" He dropped the spoon. "Nina someone attempted to kill you!"

Forest was enjoying this too much.

Nina turned back with a milk bottle, she was drinking directly from the bottle.

"Are you trying to kill me before I kill you?!" She asked Jin.

"Ahahahah! Stoop!" Forest's stomach was literally hurting because of laughing.

"You did it, didn't you?" Nina started to came at Forest. Forest started to run away from her. Hwoarang snatched the bottle from her hand and drank some.

"Aaah, this is good." Nina snatched the bottle back from him and kept following Forest.

"Our bowls switched it seems, I didn't do anything." She punched him on his stomach. "Argghh!" He was still laughing.

"Fuck you!" She drank some more milk.

Hwoarang came and took the bottle again. "Kill him!!"

"I will." She came at him one more time.

Then Jin stopped her. "That's enough. It was me."

She squinted her eyes and looked at him.

"What the hell you think you were doing?"

"Umm, taking my revenge?" He was smiling wryly.

"Did you guy know this psycho friend of ours locked him in his room yesterday night?" Forest told the other. He became breathless cause of laughing.

"Oh, new guy you're so in trouble." Nina started to came at Jin this time.

"Did you really do that Nina?" Xiaoyu asked in disbelief.

Nina was busy with squeezing Jin's wounds to hurt him. He was trying to remove her hand. "Ow, is this how you react to guests?" She definitely hurt him.

"I'm gonna kill you."

"Nina, stop." Xiaoyu hold her back.

"Yeah stop hitting him and kill Forest." Forest punched Hwoarang's arm in response.

"Really, if you keep doing this, I will have to stay here even more."

She let him go. "Yeah, I can't let this happen." But she punched his chest.

"Ahhh!" He coughed a little bit.

"I'll bring you ice cream." Xiaoyu run to the fridge. Then Nina looked at Kunimitsu who is silently sitting and witnessing this drama while eating carelessly. It was really an absurd scene going on here. She found it kinda funny.

She started to chuckle. Then it turned into a laugh. Kunimitsu realized and chuckled while still eating. Nina was laughing uncontrollably.

"Perfect, she's gone mad now." Hwoarang commented.

"Look how... she is sitting there... not giving shit, ahahah..." She couldn't even form a sentence without giving laugh breaks. Her eyes were teary because of laughing.

"Okay stop, and take this." Xiaoyu gave her the ice cream to help the burn.

They all sit down again, Nina was still chuckling and eating the ice cream.

"We literally broke her. Systems shut down." Forest said looking at her.

After dinner, they cleaned and sat down on couches.

"Are you okay now?" Jin asked her.

"Yeah, I am but you two are not gonna have peaceful sleeps from now on. Be prepared."

"I already wasn't having any? You literally locked me inside."

"Nina, for real, what was the reason?" Forest asked.

"Umm, he could try to kill one of us in our sleeps?"

Jin chuckled while shaking his head.

"Come on, I'm getting good vibes from him." Hwoarang said. "Me too!" Xiaoyu added.

"No Hwoa, be on my side..."

"Wang knows him." Everyone turned their heads to Kunimitsu.

"How?" Nina asked.

"How do you know?" Xiaoyu asked.

"I overheard."

"Tsk, tsk, not cool Kuni..." Hwoarang shook his head, mocking her.

"Girl can't control her abilities. She can even hear your snoring from 2 blocks away. Nothing she can do." Nina mocked him.

"So do you know Wang?" Forest asked Jin.

"I don't, actually. But he knew me. He was friends with my great grandfather. Who I never met though."

"Great grandfather? Damn, how old is your grandpa?" Hwoarang asked Xiaoyu. She threw a cushion to him.

"Who is your great grandfather?" Nina asked.

"No one special. They were friends when they were young."

"So that's why he was extra welcoming to you." Nina said.

"Must be very good friends then." Xiaoyu commented.

"I guess." Jin answered.

"Anyway, listen. About the fair. We found a way to get in." Hwoarang pointed Xiaoyu.

"Our school is attending the fair. We need to form groups and present a project. First we need to be winner among the groups in school to attend the fair though."

"Oh no, I hate homework projects." Forest grimaced.

"It's how I and Hwoa will enter, you guys need to find another way."

"Why him?"

"Because he gives me a lift to school every time. Everyone now thinks that he's my brother. And you didn't even fix my bicycle."

"Ugh, you guys aren't even looking alike. Meanwhile you look so much like me that someone might think I gave birth to you. Also, I was going to fix it today."

"Too late."

"Except schools, who can enter?" Nina asked.

"I guess people who works in biology or genetics branches. It's what the fair is about. Or maybe commercial men who sells stuff about those. Not sure."

"We need to get in a laboratory. Where can we find one? Does anyone know any?"

"I do." All heads turned to Jin. "I am in one. With my friends."

"What are you guys working on?"

"Well, some scientific stuff on official papers but actually we're testing something on a friend. Who was a subject once in Mishima Labs."

"What else are we gonna learn about you today?" Nina asked.

"That I can also help with the project competition in your school." He said to Xiaoyu.

"Will you?" She was literally hearts-eyed.

"Let's say one or two of us can enter by that way. What else? We need more options."

"Why can't we just enter as science lovers?" Forest asked.

"Because you look too stupid to be a science lover."

Forest pulled Nina's hair and he punched his arm in response. They were fighting like little children.

"Because, the fair is not where everyone can enter, you have to be related to business somehow."

"Can I ask, what are you planning to achieve by attending?" Jin asked.

"We need to get closer in every way we can. We need information about them and we barely have any."

"I see. I can take two of you there. And we'll apply for a stand in fair. It's easy."

"Take me bro!" Forest shouted. "I've been the nicest host to you."

"Shut up, it's not how it works." Nina objected.

"Why the hell not? Do you want to take her and not me, come on brotherrrr!"

"I prefer not to intervene to be honest. You decide and tell me."

For the rest of the night they spoke about what can they do and it was time for everyone to go to their rooms.

"Good night everybody."

"Good morning Hwoa." Nina chuckled. Hwoarang didn't get it because he wasn't remembering. He looked questioningly.

"Nevermind. Good night."

"You were saying good morning to everyone last night." Jin explaines.

"Huh, very funny Nina Williams. We all know how you are when you're drunk."

"Shut up."

"Oh my dearest... To be or not to be? What do you think?"

"At least I became philosophical, you became a moron. As if you're not one when you're sober." She said. Roasting men was her hobby.

"Fucking rude." He shook his head.

When they were all seperated Nina realised that Jin's bandages turned red again. Probably when she squeezed his arm. She felt bad now.

"Wait, those need to be changed." She touched it.

"No need." He said but Nina showed him the blood stained her fingers. So he accepted.

They went to his room. He sat down on bed and removed his top. She brought the new bandages and some sponge to clean the wound.

"What was wrong with your legs before?" He was moving very slowly when he first started but it seemed he got better today.

"Not my leg. I injured my waist. Still not perfectly okay though."

"I would ask how if I knew you'd answer."

"I would answer if I knew you are not investigating but actually wondering."

She chuckled. Then she realised something after she clean the wound.

"Do you have a tattoo?"

"Uh... Yes."

"What is it, lightning?" She was wiping the blood to see more. He hold her wrist and made her stop. She looked at him. "It hurts a little." he said while looking at her but wasn't showing any sign of pain. She stopped it and started to bandage. After she is done she asked "Do you need painkiller?"

"No, thanks."

"I'll give you some, you can take when you need." She left room and came back again with drugs and glass of water.

"You're not gonna lock me in, right?"

"It seems it's not working. So I won't."

"Even so don't do anything else. Please?"

She smiled wryly. "You won't get any peaceful sleeps I said. Remember?"

"It was a revenge. If you keep taking revenge it will become a vendetta."

"Let it be."

"But I will help you get inside that fair." he was trying to be sympathetic.

"Okay then, a pact; you will let me but not Forest inside that laboratory of yours."

"And I receive?"

"And I will not take any revenge."

"Feels like I'm not the one winning really."

"Take it or leave it." she shrugged.

"Just when I was making new friends..."

"Being friends with Forest? You can do better." she scoffed.

"But you don't even want me here." He said with a flirtatious smile.

"Well, you can't do that better." She said and left his room.

Today she felt that he's not that bad. He can be a good friend, even. Only if she could trust him, or anyone on earth easily. There was still time.

A/N:Hello, hello. It will be more than 3 chapters it seems. I enjoyed writing our coldest characters a little more fun. Actually I realized, the reason I cannot share the next chapter for Trouble Future is that Jin and Nina kinda making me depressed ahaha. In this story, I know they're not originally like this but, I want it to be more fun. They are more extroverted in this. Hope you'll like that.
