Dipper was still sick. He looked paler than a zombie dinosaur. Snot was coming out of his nose. His throat was red and swollen. His eyes bags were a dark gray hue. And he was shaking.

Mabel and Wendy came in dressed as nurses.

Mabel brought a tray with a cup of orange juice, a bowl of chicken noodle soup, a glass of water, and a get well soon card.

After Dipper ate his lunch and read the get well soon card, Wendy went next to Dipper's bed wth a thermometer in her hand.

"Alright Dipper dude." she said. "Open your mouth wide."

Dipper opened his mouth and Wendy slipped the thermometer under his tongue.

"Can you keep this under your tongue until I have to take the thermometer out?" asked Wendy.

"Yes." Dipper tried to reply with a thermometer under his tongue and a red and swollen throat.

"Good." said Wendy "I'll be back in six minutes."

Six minutes later, Wendy came back in the room and told Dipper to open his mouth again.

She took the thermometer out of Dipper's mouth and read the results.

"100.7." Wendy read. "You must have a fever."

Dipper grew sad.

"It's my fault." said Dipper. "I blame myself for getting sick in the first place."

Mabel knelt by Dipper's bedside.

"You don't need to blame yourself for getting sick." Mabel reassured. "Grunkle Ford said it was because of a virus."

Dipper sneezed and asked, "Is something wrong with my throat?"

"I'll let Wendy and myself check it later." replied Mabel.
