Chapter 2 - Segasonic the Hedgehog rewritten
Ever since Oglive and returned to Mobotropolis, he had been going by a new Alias: Sonic the Hedgehog. Ever since his parents had been killed by the nefarious Robotnik, Sonic had been living with his uncle, Chuck. It hadn't taken long for his new arch nemesis: Dr. Ivo Julian Robotnik to learn where he had lived. He was going to step in and stop what was happening, but what looked like older versions of himself and his new friend Sally Acorn had shown up out of nowhere and took control of the situation. They said that they were not who he thought they were, but Sonic knew better. He was going to confront them, but why question his future self. He experienced what Sonic was experiencing now, so he knew that the older him knew exactly what to do.
At least that's what he thought until he and his friends were captured along with his uncle. Chuck was robotized by his own creation, losing in all faith in his future self. He is now guardian-less, he did not consider the nanny a guardian of him. After being evacuated to a village outside of Mobotropolis. Sonic has had enough and decided to run away from the village. Unfortunately, none of his friends came with him, which saddened him, but he knew he could do more good outside of protection than in the restricted village.
It has been six years since then. When he wasn't running from place to place, he was eating, sleeping, or flying the plane of what used to belong to the family to reach destinations. Eventually, while at a hotel he heard from the radio about a brand new island that was made named Robotnik Island.
Sonic: Sounds like a job for Sonic the Hedgehog.
After some searching around, Sonic came up on Robotnik's new base. He saw a red figure and a yellow figure entering the island, so he landed right on the sand and approached the two figures.
Sonic: Yo! Who are you guys? And what are you doing here?
The red figure whispers to the yellow figure.
Red: Is he who I think he is?
Yellow: If you're talking about Sonic, I think he is who you think he is.
The two figures stop whispering and speak to Sonic.
?: Oh my gosh! Sonic the Hedgehog!
Sonic was a bit taken aback.
Sonic: Hold up! How do you know about me?
?: We were citizens of South Island when you saved it from Robotnik's rule. We thank you for your help.
Sonic thinks about his adventure on South Island. 'How would they react if I said that it was all my fault.'
Sonic: You're welcome…
Mighty: Oh, sorry for our manners. My name is Mighty the Armadillo, and my friend right here is Ray the squirrel.
Ray: Hello!
Sonic: Hello there. Now, what are you guys doing here at all places?
Ray: We were inspired by your heroics, that we decided to deal with Robotnik ourselves. Since you're here, we get to see you in action!
Sonic: Yeah well, this place is dangerous. So you guys should leave.
Meanwhile
Robotnik pulls up his security cameras on his screen.
Robotnik: Let's see. Looking good, oh a robot malfunction. I will fix that later, and…
Robotnik notices Sonic and two other figures talking.
Robotnik: *now alarmed* It's the blue hedgehog from years ago! And new friends. Activate the trap!
Back with Sonic, Mighty and Ray
Mighty: Look, I know that we look like civilians to you, but we are more than that.
Sonic: But you guys will drag me down, cramp my style.
All of a sudden, a huge rumble was heard, and a big machine appeared.
Sonic: Run!
Sonic, Mighty and Ray started running as the machine sped up and locked them in.
Sonic: *thinking* Ugh, because of these stowaways, we got captured. I hope I don't encounter any more of these people.
After a while in the holding cell, which was quiet on the way there because no one wanted to start talking now, they were thrown into an actual cell. In exasperation, Sonic waves his arms in the air and plops his back on the wall.
Sonic: Well this sucks.
Meanwhile at Robotnik's base
Robotnik: Oh ho ho! That was easier than expected.
Robotnik presses a button, which activates a tentacle with a needle. It presses itself into Sonic's arm, taking a sample of his blood.
Sonic: Ouch! 'Buttnik! You better not be planning anything devious with that blood.
Robotnik: You'll just have to wait and see Sonic. Oh ho ho ho! I'll crush you!
Robotnik presses a button, and a wall of spikes starts moving towards them
Sonic: We gotta get out of here!
Mighty grips the bars feeling it's strength.
Mighty: These bars are very fragile. I bet-
Mighty grabs the bars and pulls them apart.
Mighty: Yep, they are easily bendable. Guys! I got our way out!
Sonic, Mighty and Ray run out of the room, to the outside. Robotnik hits the intercoms again.
Robotnik: It's a bit early to relax just yet. I wonder if you will be able to escape Robotnik Island?
Robotnik presses a button, and a geyser is launched from underneath the trio.
Sonic Mighty and Ray: Woah!
The trio launches into the air from the geyser but gravity pulls them down to the volcanic part of the island.
Volcanic Vault
Icy Isle
Desert Dodge
Trap Tower
Landslide Limbo
Wild Water Way
Sonic: I will say that it was not too bad having an adventure with others.
Ray: Well, who knows, maybe we'll become good friends.
Sonic: I'd say you guys are already friends.
They all fist bumped (kind of like Miraculous Ladybug)
Mighty: We still have one last place to go.
Mighty points up to the top of Robotnik Tower
Sonic: No doubt about that, let's head on up.
Robotnik Tower
Mighty: Who knew that Robotnik was going to press the self destruct button.
Sonic: I did, evil guys like him always put a self destruct button on anything.
Ray: No doubt we will see him again. But it won't be for a while.
Sonic: Wait, what do you mean?
Mighty: We are nomads, Sonic. We don't have a home.
Sonic: Well, neither do I, I just often go to hotels and all that.
Ray: What he means is, we live off grid. We live in the wild.
Sonic: Oh, well. I'm sorry that we can't stay together. But we'll… still be friends.
Mighty nods his head and gives Sonic a hug.
Mighty: We'll see each other again Sonic. I hope it won't be too long.
Sonic sheds a tear and walks to his plane.
Sonic: See you guys!
Mighty: Bye Sonic!
Ray: See you soon!
Sonic hops in his plane and takes off.
Post credits scene
Robotnik is seen working in his working station. He grabs a vial of Sonic's blood now seen with dozens of vials.
Robotnik: I need a soldier of equal power.
He puts the vial into a cup, and grabs some DNA from a container labeled Amadeus Prower. After putting them into cases, he presses the fusion button, and after a few seconds, a 4-year-old two tailed fox is seen in the fusion pod.
