A user made me notice how the dialogues were all fucked up, so I fixed it and I reupload the chapter

Light.

The only thing that Kenichi could feel was this warm and strange Light engulfing his entire being while it was transporting his body and conscience to another realm with its own time and space rules; the man was scared because what was happening to him was something beyond the realm of the human capabilities to understand, in his world something like this wasn't something unheard before, people all around the globe claimed to had been kidnapped by aliens or angels, but Kenichi never believes those people and thought that they were under the effect of some drugs or that they were crazy. Still, now he was living a similar experience; he didn't know what to think and, neither he had the time.

Before he had the opportunity to rationalize what was happening to him, Kenichi found himself on the ground; he slowly opened his eyes that were still closed because of the intense Light that kidnapped him; the man slowly gazed at his surroundings, trying to examine the place that the Light brought him to.

At first glance, the room wasn't unfamiliar; he envisioned something way more alien. Instead, he identified the objects inside this room without too much struggle.

Kenichi didn't know if he was supposed to feel a little relieved for ending up in a familiar place and not in an alien one or be terrified by the fact that the power to kidnap people easily existed in the first place.

The room was not much bigger than Kenichi and Naoko's kitchen: there were two big and armchairs on one side of the room, and in front of them there was this TV that almost covered the entire wall, and in between, there was a Koitasu big enough for two people, the floor was made with wood parquet, the walls were simply gray and the door... there was none.

Kenichi didn't have the time to get scared because his eyes posed on the little mean eyes gazed woman that was petrified by the same thing that almost caused to fright her companion too, she was watching her surrounding frantically with a stoned shock and fear that was decorating his eyes, her mouth was open wide gasping for air trying to get the needed oxygen to her brain because he needed it for trying to understand what happened to the two on them.

While she was trying to compute and load the pieces of information, her ears heard something going after her fast; before she had the time to react, two masculine arms that used to be much bigger than before embraced her, she knew the proprietary of those arms and her shocked mind could at least ease a bit thank that familiar touch, she slowly gazed on the man near hear and said with a weak and still frightened voice:

""Kenichi… wh...what happened? where are we? did you see the Light too?""

Kenichi that was hugging her, decided to free her from his embrace because his objective to calm her down enough to discuss was completed; he sat down near his wife without watcher her in the eyes, not because he didn't want to, but because the man knew that he had to analyze the situation to find an escape route from that room, and said to hear with a fake calm voice:

""Yes, I saw that Light to Naoko, whatever it was that flash seemed to have brought us for whatever reason, and for the two other questions I'm not sure myself""

Naoko gulped, hearing his husband's statement. She stayed quiet for some instants to watch her husband analyzing the room; she decided to make some hypothesis to justify what was happening; the woman knew that what she was going to say was stupid. Still, this entire situation was already out of the world for her, so there was no harm in trying.

""maybe there was something in the Noodle that we eat? some drugs that for whatever reason ended up in our food and drugged us? and while still under the effect we decided to come here to watch something?""

Kenichi, after earing this statement from his wife, couldn't stop himself from snorting a bit, almost forgetting the possibly dangerous situation they were in; he knew that his wife didn't believe that events hadn't gone that way, but he still appreciated her trying, mainly because it helped eases the tension a little bit. Still, he had to remember her the plothole in her theory:

""well that surely would be fun if that happened, having the luck to get some drugged noodle that contained a drug strong enough to bring us in a room situated in only God knows where it's something I would enjoy talking to with my coworker""

Naoko pouted a little big narrowing her eyes watching her husband that was making fun of her about her theory, but Kenichi continued:

""But there some holes in your theory, my dear""

Kenichi finally gazed at his wife that was still pouting adorably, his heart almost stopped because it passed a long time from the last time he saw Naoko with an expression that marked with pain, but Kenichi didn't notice it; both of them didn't, that's because the strange and almost impossible situation they were in, forced their brain and heart to concentrate only on the recent events for the first time in a whole year,

the confusion eclipsed their pain.

Kenichi continued:

""I didn't touch the Noodle, remember? or maybe you don't because...well, you were still in your world""

Naoko flinched a bit; she remembered the event that happened during the dinner. Still, the fact that "she was in her world" made her remember why she had to do that...because of the immense pain she felt for the disappearance of her young boy. However, that was not the time to cry, not now at least because, for all she knew, they could be in real danger, jailed in that room by an unknown person or entity of an unknown reason.

She responded to Kenichi while trying to subdue the pain that was gradually returning.

""Yes… you didn't eat yours… what happened to us? how did we end up here?""

Kenichi had no answer; he closed his eyes for some second, trying to recall everything that happened and maybe finding something out of the ordinary.

""we were in the kitchen like usual, we tried to eat then I started talking to you about...Subaru""

Kenichi and Naoko both almost fell into the overwhelming sadness that they felt during dinner, but the man continued:

""we cried, we hugged and then the Light came, the last thing is the only thing out of the ordinary but doesn't give us any information about who brought us here and why""

Naoko slowly put her finger under the month to ponder what this person wanted to do to them? Did he want to hurt them? Was their kidnapper a pervert? Or… did he desired to kill them?

How did he bring them there? It's… this person even human? All of these questions were inside Naoko's mind. With every new question, she thought the more she was scared, especially with the latest doubt that would confirm the existence of being superior to humans.

The married couple was silently thinking in that room that was their jail until they found a way to escape.

Then Kenichi mind remembering about a series of a prank he watched a long time ago on YouTuber, where there were these people that would enter a public bathroom only to find themself in a different scenario when they came out, so maybe the wall was fake or frail so they could destroy it quickly.

Kenichi quickly got up; Naoko observed her husband in doubt. The man charged to one side of the room, hoping to destroy it and get their freedom back. Still, both reality and the wall were much solid than he expected, and Kenichi fell with a massive harsh fall on the floor with an acute pain that was filling both his mind and shoulder.

Kenichi gasped while he was on the floor; the pain wasn't something that atrocious, mainly because the realization that they were indeed trapped was slowly insinuating in his brain to the point to make him forget the pain pretty fast.

Naoko got up from the floor while screaming the man's name for his idiocy and fastly rushed to his side; she kneeled near the man and slowly helped him sit up on the floor again.

Kenichi slowly looked at her wife's eyes filled with anxiety and worry. Her eyes always gave the impression of hostility at first glance. Still, for Kenichi, those eyes were the most beautiful and kind eyes that ever existed.

Naoko tried to help, but the man didn't need her, but he accepted it anyway because he appreciated how she rushed to help him; he did make a fine choice, the most beautiful and kind lady that his eyes gazed at.

Less beautiful was the giant slap on the back that he received from the woman; she didn't like that stunt he pulled, not the slightest,

She shouted:

""What the hell did you have in your mind? you thought that charging to a wall would have freed us? It would only have worked if the wall were made of paper or something! you big Baka!""

Yep, the Nasty eyes woman was angry; she saw the husband hurting himself like a fool, but she couldn't help herself stopping the little giggle; it wasn't that often anymore when she could watch his stupid behavior, not in the last year at least.

Kenichi laughed, he knew what he did was stupid, but he couldn't help himself analyze his foolish decision.

""hahaha, what the hell I was thinking, like that could have ever worked, but I had to try, you know Naoko? Haha""

The woman sighed with her eyes closed, directed to the floor, and started to giggle after hearing her husband's idiotic antics and plan.

What an idiot of a husband I have, always trying to do everything on your own without making me worry about anything.

Naoko loved a lot Kenichi, but that love was obscured like the sun during an eclipse, with the moon that represented their son disappearance, for after the crying that the couple did in the kitchen, the frozen and detached heart initiated the slow process that would take years and years to at least make the sun a little visible, But.

The two realized something: if the room's walls were solid and without any windows or doors...

""we are trapped here then""

The couple said those words in unison as if their minds and mouths were linked, and the slow realization that they were in real danger was slowly crawling back into their minds but.

""Well, Kenichi-san, could you please not charge the wall anymore? I don't particularly appreciate using my healing power for something that stupid""

A voice interrupted the two couple exchange, they finally had a clue of their jailor, Kenichi Widened his eyes trying to find the where the voice came from, but he wasn't able to find any indication, the man got up from the floor and angrily shouted, without realizing that his pain from the stunt the pulled against the wall disappeared.

""WHO OR WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU? AND WHY YOU BROUGHT US HERE""

Naoko was scared by hearing both Kenichi's shouting voice and their jailor's sudden introduction. Still, she noticed how fast Kenichi got up without showing any pain, and then she remembers the jailor's words.

Then the voice came back:

""Ah well, I should have expected that reaction, your welcome, by the way,""

Kenichi was confused; he didn't understand when he thanked him, so he ignored his comment. Instead, Naoko was on high alert; still, on the ground, she realized the implication of an individual capable of healing out of thin air; their jailor was not human.

""My my, how rude of me, I didn't introduce my self and I left my guest alone without any explanation or why I brought them here, and without even realizing it, they started charging my walls like they are some cavalry division""

Kenichi didn't like the kidnaper antics; he was like making a fool of them. The man's rage increased a lot during this dialogue between the two. Still, he had to be careful with his words until he had discovered the voice's goal.

Naoko was still listening with solemn silence, slowly realizing how this was a dangerous situation.

The voice continued.

""I respond to the name of the "Warden" and I brought you here for a very particular reason""

Kenichi interrupted him with a firm hand movement to show is how he wasn't enjoying what was happening there.

""You didn't tell me what you are! are you human? did you drugged us""

Kenichi was more curious about why they were brought there, but he wanted to make sure that the voice he heard belonged to a human being.

The voice signed in annoyance

""Alright, I will tell you that I WAS human; now I'm something else that I will not explain because I don't have the time right now""

Kenichi was interpreting every word the voice said. With the revelation that the identity claimed that it WAS human, Kenichi's blood iced up to the realization of the existence of something more powerful and magical than a human.

The man tried to regain his lost composure; he decided to stay silent to let the voice continue after making one last question.

""Why you don't have the time to explain? you brought us here in this unknown place, and you claim yourself to be something different from the humans, and you expect to get away from our question with that cliché answer?""

The voice snorted for the man's question and accusation:

""alright, I don't have the time because you are not the only one that I summoned, right now, there at least 20 people that I have gathered from a different world of yours that are much stronger than a normal human being, especially a redhead dude that holds the power to destroy their plane of existence, and they are trying to break the walls like you, This place, by the way, is called the theatre and is my little reign""

Both Kenichi and Naoko didn't know what to think. They were discovering things after things that they thought were impossible to them, so they hold their disbelief for themself and gulped at the idea of the redhead man capable of such destructive power.

the voice continued

""So, I keep chatting with you for too much, I have still to present my self to the other guests, But it seems that now they have calmed down and have begun to greet each other so I can make them wait a little longer while In the meantime I fix some "memories"""

Again, the couple in the room couldn't catch up with what the mysterious voice was saying; it was just confusing.

Kenichi, with a weak gaze, removes his glasses and with his hand started to pinch his forehead to focus, and then he said in an equally tired voice as the expression he had:

""then why we aren't with them?""

The voice answered with a cold tone:

""because you will probably hate most of the people in that room after I finish with all of you""

Kenichi and Naoko were bewildered; why would they hate someone? They never hated anyone, and they weren't the type to harbor a grudge on anyone...unless those people had something to do with their son's disappearance.

before they could make any question, the voice answer:

""They have nothing to do with your son's disappearance, but they do know him. The reason why you and the others are here is because of him""

The couple awoke up from their confusion when they heard those words, Their son know them? When he meets them? How did the voice know their thought? How did their Jailer know about Subaru and the fact that he disappeared? Did that mysterious being know their son? Was Subaru still alive? was he dead?

The couple was panicking; they were scared by their situation, but hearing that Subaru was related to all this mess caused the couple to feel an absurd amount of fear.

Kenichi iced up in a place he couldn't talk because he was still shocked by the revelation of their son's role in their kidnapping. Still, he had to make other inquiries to the voice; even if he promised not to, he had to but...

A trembling feminine voice enters the conversation, standing up on the spot she was previously sitting on.

""what… do you mean that they know him?""

The woman was shaking in fear of the answer the voice might give:

""I meant what I meant ma'am, the individuals that are in the other room all have some relationship with Subaru, they know your son and the reason why you all are here is to watch his story, but I will not spoil anything because you will see everything and then… when this story will finish I will make you meet the others""

The couple couldn't believe it; they were there… to watch Subaru's story? As parent's they knew everything about his adventure, so why show them? They knew everything till the day their child disappeared from that convenience store, so why were they there? What story will the screen reveal to them?

"" I'm not talking about Subaru adventure in your world.""

The couple slowly realized something after hearing those word, a hypothesis that in their mind was almost impossible to conceive till the moment there were summoned themself in that strange room.

""Oh well, it seems out time just finished, the other just finished seeing the intro with the demon, alright take a seat in those two comfy chairs and enjoy the show mam and pa""

A strange force pulled the couple to the chair; the couple was terrified by this event.

It felt like a hand that virtually pulled their body like it was attached to some rope and pulled with immense strength to the chair. Still, even after this strange and forceful event, the lovers couldn't stop their blood from chilling in their bodies when they remember the word "demon" in the warden speech.

The couple that now sat on the chairs couldn't stop the cold sweat from their forehead.

There are no words to describe how terrified they were… did their son faced that "demon"? they didn't want to even think about it. Still, one thing was already silently accepted by the two, the reality that their son didn't die that day one year ago.

The couple slowly brought their hands together to find the courage to face what they were going to see on the screen, finding in their respective heat a little bit of comfort; Kenichi signed and slowly realized that he still had a job to do as the husband of Naoko, he still had to be her anchor and strength to face whatever they are going to see.

The man squeezed her hand to get the attention of his lover; the woman slowly turned around her gaze to watch the man near her; her eyes showed pain and fear that wasn't unknown to Kenichi, but this time there was a glimpse of… hope? Why? Didn't their son face a demon? What there was hope in her eyes? These were the thought that was insinuating in Kenichi's mind.

The reason why Naoko was that little Light shining again in their eyes was that for the first time in over a year, they were gonna get some information about Subaru fates, he maybe had to face a demon, but the Warden brought to the theater people the Warden claimed to be strong, or that's what he said, so maybe those people were friend with Subaru, and they helped him face that horrible demon!

Naoko tried to find every way to see the glass half full; she didn't want to detach herself from reality as she did for over one year. She didn't want to lose that hope anymore, and she would fight to the bitter end for it.

Kenichi that was still gazing at his wife's eye, simply sighed and smiled a little, the Light of her wife was slowly giving courage to him too, and he shared his wife sentiment in silence; maybe this time they will be able to be each other anchor because Kenichi needed one too, he could fake it till one point.

A loud sound came from the TV that turned on by itself and started loading a countdown that started from 10.

The two-parent slowly move their gaze to the tv, without saying a single word waiting for the countdown to finish and, in the meantime, strengthen the grip of their handholding.

Kenichi started gulping his saliva, trying to calm his heartbeat
