3. Chapter 3

Katnisses POV

"Katniss?" Peeta said, "Yes?" "We should probably go see Gale," "Oh dang, right I forgot, yeah well I guess we should go see him," I walked down stairs feeling nervous, I mean Gale killed my sister then I thought, oh god a murderer is in my house, but then I remembered, Gale didn't want Prim to die, Gale loved Prim, and then I remembered something even worse, I'm a murderer I killed all those kids back in the Hunger games, I was responsible for so many lives lost in the rebellion, I started breathing heavily luckily Peeta was there, "Hey Katniss? If you can't do this you can go see Willow and I can tell Gale your busy right now?" He said, see this is why Peeta is perfect, he so thoughtful and kind. "No" I lied "I'm fine come on"

Gales POV

I sat in Katniss' living room, it was a cozy little room with pictures of people all over the walls, first I noticed Willow with a boy who was probably her brother, then I saw Katniss and Peetas wedding photo but then I noticed something else. Those pictures it was Finick and Cinna, it was Boggs and Mags, it was Rue and Prim, Prim that name flashed in my mind. I killed her. I designed that bomb, it's my fault she's dead. Then the wedding Katniss and Peeta invited me to the wedding, I declined, I couldn't face her, but then I thought look you idiot, Katniss isn't gonna be more forgiving 25 years later! I made a mistake, I should've come earlier but I couldn't at least now I had my family, I had more then just Katniss, I had my mother, and brothers who were both married, and Posy who's training to be a nurse, I had my wife Johanna and our baby girl, Primrose. I can do this. If I could propose to Johanna Mason I can talk to Katniss. Right?

Willows POV

I have absolutely no idea what's going on, my mother told me to come to the kitchen so we could talk, I was sent to my room, they said they were going to come up here... are they still coming? I snuck down stairs and heard my parents crying, so I ran back upstairs where I found Rye reading, so I grabbed my book sat down and read with him too. My parents will come get me when there ready.
