ShaySillitoon! It's okay! I forgive you! And by the way I wasn't insulted or offended, I just found it amusing lol! I need to post this here. The reason why the chapters are relatively long, is because I have an actual social life that means I can't write as frequently as they used to be able to when I was a little bit younger. I have a week off from school in about two weeks so I'll be able to update regular then for about a week before I go back to school for my final six or seven weeks. Being in the UK is great! I don't actually get long summers like you guys in the US and other states and other countries. So you have to wait a few more weeks before I can post at least daily I hope you don't mind and please don't be angry. And if I don't post in a couple weeks like when I was supposed to, that's either because I lost inspiration, or my mental health is just too much to deal with at the moment. Having depression and anxiety sucks :(

Pinky:
Gee, Brain, what do ya wanna do tonight?
Sparkle(me):
I know what we're doing tonight!
The Brain:
That's right sparkle! Same thing we do every night, Pinky, try to take over the world!

Pinky: NARF!
Sparkle (me): *giggles*
Brain and pinky followed their human owner into her bedroom, the pretty pink colours were the total opposite of her mood. Brain knew she was about to burst so he shut the door instructing his associate to sit on her lap. Brain also hopped onto her lap, sitting in between her knee and her hand which was placed there.
"What's the matter sweetheart? You haven't been yourself all day today... What's wrong? "Brain asked, never using the nickname 'sweetheart' before, which shocked himself, sparkle, and pinky.
Sparkle looked down, already sobbing, causing pinky to nuzzle her. "It hurts..." she whispered. "It physically hurts... But it's not a pain that can be soothed with painkillers-"
"It's a different type of pain? "Brain guessed. " it's a different type of pain that feels like it physically hurts." Sparkle nodded, nuzzling pinky desperately, afraid that if she didn't, he would float away. "I'm here sunshine... I'm here." Pinky soothed .
"I HATE MY LIFE!" Sparkle screamed. "My parents are never there! All they do is work! They don't know that I'm hurting! They got you as emotional support, instead of actually grieving with me! It's like they don't know I existed! They figured I'd be happy with two mice! Which I am, don't get me wrong, I love you two! But it's awful, because they're using animals as emotional support when I need my actual parents to help me... It's like I don't matter to them... Like me being born prematurely meant nothing to them, me almost dying meant nothing to them..."
Brain nor pinky didn't know what to say.
Brain was just shocked, that a nine-year-old thought that about herself. What life were her parents living? They must've been living some grand luxurious life to leave their daughter with her two pet mice. It was the fact that she felt like she didn't matter to them, like she wasn't important, like she wasn't enough for them. It made Brain angry, angry that his pet owner is forced to feel like this. It only made him want to take over the world even more, so we could get rid of parents like hers. No child deserves that type of parent however valid or invalid their excuses are.
"Oh, sweetheart... i'm sorry you have to feel this way... I'm really sorry... you do matter to them sweetie... You matter to me and pinky... We love you so much... " Brain comforted. That was all he could do... All he could do was sit on her lap caressing her hand, and tell her that she mattered... He could only do the rest in his world domination plans which always ultimately fail... but seeing the only human who loved him, cared for him and listened to his rants about things she didn't understand, made him even more determined to take over the world and make it a better place, completely getting rid of all those people who didn't deserve to have children.
Sparkle began full on crying now, not afraid to release the tears. And frankly, Brain couldn't say he blamed her. He moved closer to her chest, snuggling in, while gently making heart shapes with his fingers on her chest to let her know that he and pinky loved her. She cried for a solid hour and a half, feeling so broken, so fed up, so painful that all she can do is cry.
Pinky kissed her cheek every time tears would fall, wiping them away. "Shh shh shh shh, it's okay sparkle... it's okay..." pinky soothed. Nuzzling her cheek.
"...Would you like something to eat dear...?" Brain asked cautiously, in case he made sparkle breakdown again. She silently nodded, looking at her mice with apologetic eyes. "Would you like something from your ready meals? I heard your father say that they just got them in for you..." she nodded again still not talking. Nodding, the smarter of the two went to the kitchen to prepare her something to eat. Pinky stayed with her humming softly in her ear to try and reduce the verge of a panic attack coming.
20 minutes later and the food was ready. Brain came with the bowl of macaroni cheese, proven comfort food on her adjustable table. The smarter mouse was wheeling it along to her, as she still hadn't spoken a word since her breakdown. Brain positioned the table in the correct space, reminding her that the food will be a little hot so she will need to let it cool to make sure she doesn't burn her mouth.
"Would you like to watch something to calm down? "Brain offered, sparkle nodded silently as the smarter mouse put on her Disney+ account playing the paused episode of Doc McStuffins from this morning, which Pinky paused after realising that they needed to go. On the screen stuffy and Lambie were talking about something, pinky became engrossed in the episode, and Brain occasionally looking up to see the African American doctor give funny diagnosis's, although pointless, the smarter mouse found himself laughing with the characters which was a rare appearance from the megalomaniac.
Once she was finished and halfway through another Doc McStuffins episode, Brain Took the empty bowl away and placed it in the sink, beginning to wash it. Well, if her parents weren't going to be back until later you might as well do the necessary things to take care of her. Afterwards, he came back hoping onto her chest again snuggling in.
6:30 pm came, and with it her least favourite carers. Pinky and Brain both cringed at the sound is their human owner was making. They were rattling her around, throwing her around like a rag doll, making her feel so uncomfortable and so awkward. She started to cry, and one of the carers told her not to cry, which made pinky very very angry, his urged not to come out and scold her was wearing thin. "I know you want to scold them, my dear friend, but we have to stay out of sight, only Leela and Billy may see us." Brain reminded. Pinky was growling through his teeth.
"Nobody hurts my sunshine!" He hissed.
As fate couldn't be any more cliche, one of the people moving sparkle ended up hurting her as she cried in agony. Brain had to restrain him. "Pinky.." Brain tried to comfort. "Look, they're logging out now, and I heard her ask whether it was them tonight, and thankfully, it's not. Let's wait two more minutes until they leave, then you can check to make sure she's alright before we commence the plan tonight. "Pinky reluctantly nodded, waiting for the carers to leave.
Once they did leave, sparkle burst into tears, and pinky couldn't wait anymore. He rushed over, crying when he saw the tears streaming down. "Sparkle! "He shrieked. "Are you okay?!" Sparkle didn't answer, but the crying was an answer in itself. Pinky rubbed their noses together. Mother instincts taking over. Brain was at her side, stroking her hand. "Shh shh shh shh, it's okay..." pinky soothed. " they're gone now... Brain and I won't let them hurt you anymore... Pinky promise. "Pinky latched his tiny hand under her finger and then linking them together, making a pinky promise.
Later that night.
Pinky and The Brain were at the power surge, beginning their nightly plan. Tonight's plan consisted of taking out all the power of their hometown, until they were pretty much pleading them to put it back on, giving the megalomaniac time to become ruler of the world and stop it from doing any bad things. Sparkle was well aware that the lights were going to go out tonight so she mentally prepare yourself, by not using her iPad or laptop until they came back. The mice were ready to push the button to let all the power out of their town. "Are you ready, pinky?" Pinky nodded enthusiastically, waiting for his smarter partner to give him the signal. "Now! "Brain shouted, as his friend pushed the button.
All the lights went out, minus the lights where the mice were. Brain cackled evilly. He was finally going to take over the world! Finally! The citizens of their hometown gasped, freaking out in panic, and within mere milliseconds the news was already on the story. Brain and pinky hid out of sight as the public panicked.
Off to the side not visible, was Brain's long arch rival. Snowball, a genetically enhanced hamster, but instead of gaining smarts he gained the desire to destroy all human race. But to his rival's dismay, snowball was very much alive, and very much ready for revenge. All he needed to do was wait.
After snowball heard his rival cry out in frustration from another failed plan, he came out folding his arms with a mischievous smile on his face. "Well well well, if it isn't the imbecile I once called my friend!" Snowball chided. Brain gasped. "I thought you died! " snowball scoffed. "Only in your fanfiction dreams, Brain!" Snowball snarled. "Now, I'll give you two choices, 1, which I would probably go with. You give me the world now and I don't hurt you or your little family, or, 2. I kill your little human girl!" Brain looked at his arch rival before lunging forward, snarling. "You DARE hurt her, and you'll pay for it! I've defeated you once, I can defeat you again, and this time for good!" Snowball just laughed. "Again, in your fanfiction dreams." Snowball left them, cackling in the distance.
The mice returned very shaken. And then they heard the most heartbreaking thing ever, their human owners sobbing and scratching around, had snowball come here? Had snowball come in here to hurt her?
Brain climbed up to her, gently shaking her awake. She shot up, screaming their names. Brain got in front of her, wiping away the tears that fell. "Shhh shhhh shh shh, it's alright, it's alright sweetheart… We're here now."
" I heard someone laughing and I heard a huge explosion!" She sobbed. So she did hear snowball… Brain gulped.
"Sweetheart, what you heard, was my arch rival snowball..." he treated carefully. "The one that nearly killed all the humans and wanted revenge on them? "Sparkle asked tearfully and Brain nodded. "Yes, sweetheart, that's him..." sparkle began shaking, as the mouse in front of her cupped her cheeks. "It's alright, it's alright... We're going to keep you safe..." he promised. Lying her back down, caressing her face, humming to keep her calm.
Hours later, her parents finally returned from their late night shifts, completely oblivious to the fact that their nine-year-old had a breakdown and was severely death threatened. Brain stayed on her chest the whole night, holding her finger and rubbing it affectionately when she would stir.
Brain had to see her, making sure that she wasn't killed, he was going to save her make her feel safe and warm, not resting until his arch rival was defeated, for good.
Well holy shit that escalated! I've already planned out the ending to this. Thanks Billie Eilish! But anyway, I have been reading P and B stuff and they always somehow include snowball! I love it and I hope y'all aren't angry with my decision to add snowball like this. I know Brain, and I know he's not heartless. So he's going to protect me! And for everyone that is angry about this shift? Your opinions are meaningless! I love where the story is going to be going! Elmyra plus snowball equals HELL! This is gonna be fun:) NARF! Next chapter will include some Elmyra bullying, yippee!
