F3: Hello everyone and welcome back chapter 3. We left off where Star was training but had to stop after getting beat during her training. Also Carmines men had gotten some of her blood and could imaging what it is for. RWBY is property of Rooster Teeth and Monty Oum and the OC's are owned by me. With that said Let's Roll Out!

Volume 4 Blue: Rest.

In another part of Vacuo or to be more correct the City of Vacuo stands the most elective and probably the least favorite academy Shade Academy. Even after the fall the students still attend the academy despite what others say about the academy itself. However it is also home to its main capital building that was seemed built a few years ago but still holding strong.

Standing outside the building is an older women in her mid forties with lightly tanned skin and has long black hair that reaches to her back along with red piercing eyes with orange highlights. She wears a revealing top with dark red and dull white lining that resembles a bikini with a purple colored sphere resting between her breasts.

She wears a black short length skirt but just enough to stay modest with spikes ruffles lining the bottom and zippers every few inches. Her right arm consists of multiple straps wrapped around it while on her left arm she wears a black arm sleeve with a silver armor piece that covers the upper portion of her arm. She also wears a black and silver collar piece, two belts on her left leg, and charcoal black boots with armor pieces on top of them.

However this women is also a faunus that reaching from under her skirt is a black tigers tail. On her right arm are some tiger stripes that go up her arm and even a few on her face as well.

This was Vanessa Tora and she wasn't in a very good mood as she nearly growled at what she was doing. She entered the capital building in a huff as if knowing what was going to happen. The receptionist that was their didn't even glance from his desk to know that Vanessa had entered the building.

"The council is waiting for you Miss Tora." He replied.

"Good. I don't want to be interrupted the moment we start." Vanessa replied back as she marched right past him and headed to the councilors room as she opened and closed it behind her.

For one the councilors room seemed to be empty but when she sat down at one of the chairs five people seemed to appear out of nowhere. Another women that was in her mid fifties along with four men while two of them was Jacque Schnee and the other was James Ironwood but for some reason James was standing while the others were sitting.

"Its about damn time Miss. Tora. What kept you?" One of the councilmen replied.

"I was dealing with family matters plus it's not exactly easy to get down here to the capital from Feldspar you know. So sorry if I was running late." She slightly growled.

"Well now since we're all here we can start on the business as hand." Jacque replied.

"Myself and the Ace Ops have flew past Mistral and we should be in Atlas by another three days. Four days just incase we run into any trouble." Ironwood replied.

"And I assume the 'cargo' is well protected." Jacque replied as Ironwood nodded.

"Yes. It's secured and undamaged. Not much else to report." Ironwood added.

"Very well then your dismissed." Jacque said before the hologram image of the general disappeared.

However that seemed to make Vanessa curious "Another shipment of dust Jacque or is it something else that you've acquired." Vanessa said.

Jacque seemed to smirk a little bit "Not that I should tell you anything but the Ace Ops managed to capture a criminal that has been stealing dust from shops that my company provides. I'm already setting up a trial date for when they arrive." Jacque replied cupping his hands together.

"I see... though I don't think that's why you called this council today or more importantly why you've brought me down here." Vanessa replied.

"Sharp as ever for a faunus like you." He began but he then narrowed his gaze at her.

"Which is why I'm wondering why you decided to shutdown dust trades throughout all of Remnant!?" He shouted but the tiger faunus stood firm.

"I assumed that you would talk about that. After all you did put me in charge of the dust department even though I can't be their in Atlas physically. With what happened in Vale is a terrifying event and those that caused this to happen have given insensitive to other criminals to steal from other shops. So shutting down the dust trades would reduce what criminals could steal." Vanessa replied.

However that was when the male councilmen spoke "Yes but doing this will hurt the company financially. Without company income the company will not last. How long will this shutdown go on." The councilmen said.

"As long as I see fit. In the meantime you'll have to find a way to make the company more lien. Even if you have to do a fundraiser of some kind." Vanessa added.

"It's not that simple. It'll take time and preparation you know." Jacque replied.

"That isn't my problem. Is their any other things you want to tell me about?" She questioned as she folded her arms as Jacque only grunted.

"Other than the fact that I'm looking for someone to ensure the future of my company." Jacque said in which Vanessa only chuckled at this.

"You mean your runaway of a daughter. Good luck finding her." Vanessa said almost amused at it but Jacque only smirked back.

"Oh I'm not meaning her my dear." Jacque said which only confused Vanessa.

"If that's all then I wish you a good day." She said as she got up from her seat as the three holograms deactivated as she walked out of the councilors room but that made her wonder what Jacque meant by that statement of his.

"Ow! ow ow ow!" Star cried out as Mars was working on patching her up from the latest training.

"Oh quit squirming will you." Mars said as she applied the rubbing alcohol to the wound.

"You think I would get used to this but it's always the same." She added.

"Hey just be glad you only got a couple scratches from the sybers you fought and nothing serious from the ursas. You are vulnerable without your aura so you'll need to let them heal a bit." Mars said.

"I know that but I can't just sit still and do nothing. I've got to do something productive otherwise I'll get sloppy." Star said as Mars finished bandaging her up.

"Yes but their is also a time to rest and relax especially now." Mars added but that was when Woody got an idea.

"You know the best relaxation is using the hot springs here." Woody said which seemed to surprised May.

"Wait you guys have hot springs. Since when?" May asked.

Woody turned to her before speaking again "Corquina always had hot springs but you just gotta know where to look. Luckily there is a bath house here for others to use." Woody said.

"And I think after all that has happened I think you're well deserving of one." Woody added as Star gently nodded.

"Yeah I guess so." Star agreed as they left the nurses office.

After getting patched up everyone met up at the front entrance of the academy as the said their goodbyes to Tala.

"Thanks for letting me use the training room. Even if it wasn't for long." Star said.

"It's was a pleasure dear. If you ever need to use it again just make sure to stop by and talk to me." Tala said as the four left the academy and waved a goodbye to the headmistress.

Tala looked on seeing them leave "I'm sure they'll be just fine." Tala said with a smile but before she went back inside the academy her scroll rang as she checked who the caller was and picked it up immediately.

"Ah Miss. Tora. I take it the meeting went well then." Tala began.

"Could've been better. Jacque is still ranting on about the dust trade shutdown. Sometimes I wonder how'd I became part of the council if I had to listen to his sorry ass." Vanessa said.

"Well we all can't have our way you know but is their a reason why you're calling me?" She questioned.

"Yes actually. Their was something he said that concerns me. You know about the daughter that ran away from the SDC right." Vanessa stated.

"Of course. It was posted everywhere. Why you ask?" Tala asked.

"Well... we know that he's been looking for her but apparently he supposedly has another heiress to his company but I don't know what he means by that." Vanessa replied.

That was when Tala froze in place almost well knowing what Vanessa was talking about. Before her position as the headmistress of Oscuro Academy she was a huntress. However one day she was visiting a friend she knew when something caught her eye of a female arctic fox faunus had arrived at an orphanage with a small bundle in her arms.

The women held the bundle closely before placing it on the footstep of the orphanage before knocking on the door loudly as she then ran off. She wanted to give chase but then she heard a cry from the bundle as she investigated it and noticed that it was a baby arctic fox faunus with a pair of ears and a tail as well.

She and her friend Amber cared for the baby for as long as they did. Tala wasn't around that much because of her being a huntress but she managed to stop by whenever she was around the area. However it was five years ago when she saw the orphanage ablaze and their was only one other person that was their and that was a younger Star Azure. Tala decided to care for her until she was ready for the academy.

However she also found out that Star had Schnee blood running through her veins even though she is a faunus and would most likely be a target if Jacque found her.

Tala shook her head from her memories before speaking into her scroll.

"I know what he's after and he's not getting her." Tala spoke sternly.

"I'm guessing you know who Jacque was talking about then." Vanessa said.

"Yes I do. Let me handle it from here okay." Tala replied before hanging up as she had to come up with a plan.

Back in town the four of them were now standing in front of a medium sized building with a big green plated roof and in the back is a large wooden fence that seems to connect to each side of the building. In back of the building steam seems to be rising from it.

"Well here's the bath house." Woody replied.

May just stood their rather surprised at this "Wow... it's not as big as I thought it would be." She said but still rather impressed.

"Some people use it but it's a slow day today so this'll be perfect for us." Mars said with a big smile on her face.

"And it's gender separated so you girls will have your privacy. Though I've got other things to take care of." Woody said.

"You're not joining us." Star said.

"Sorry but I've got errands to run but I'll be back. You girls go and enjoy yourselves." Woody replied as he left the three of them on their own.

"Well c'mon girls. The bath house awaits!" Mars cheered as she ran right in with Star and May right behind her.

Inside is just what some would expect of a bath house. On the walls were bath related items along with some hair and skin products that are surprisingly cheap for some people. At the front desk is the receptionist that had finished with another customer as they just finished paying for their things.

"Thank you and come again soon." She said nicely as the people left before noticing the three that had walked in.

"Oh hello. Do you need something?" She questioned.

"Actually is your bath house available today?" Mars asked as the receptionist nodded.

"Yes it is. How many of you will be using it?" She asked again.

"Only the three of us." Star said as the receptionist came around with three long bath towels.

"Alright then. Also just a reminder their are to be no shenanigans while you're in the baths. Also make sure to remove all accessories before you get in their. That includes hats as well." The receptionist said which made May a bit nervous as she grabbed the brim of her beanie.

"Also your clothes will be washed and dried before you are finished. Just leave your cloths on the rack and the staff will pick them up." She finished as she hands them each a bath towel.

"The women's changing rooms are on the left." She said before heading back behind the desk as the three headed toward the changing room.

After undressing and wrapping the towels around themselves Star and Mars were enjoying themselves in the hot spring as they could feel the stress wash away from them. In the hot spring their are multiple landscape rocks. One large rock in the center and several smaller rocks around the area.

Mars took a small sniff of the air before letting it out as her long dark gold hair was in the water with a look of content on her face. The towel wrapped around her covered most of her upper body and to her lower thigh but still leaving some of her legs exposed. However it did show off the curves of her body and a bit of her cleavage as well.

For Star her ears were on full display as her tail was currently submerged in the water and just like Mars her towel covered her upper body to her lower thigh and it showed off her curves as well as the towel did show off some of her cleavage too.

"This feels so good right now." Mars said letting out a relaxing sigh.

"Yeah I so needed this after today." Star added but they noticed that someone was missing.

"Hey I thought May would've came out by now." Star added.

"Don't tell me she's still in the changing room. I thought she'd be done." Mars said but almost on cue May appeared in her bath towel but surprisingly without her beanie letting her dusky rose hair be shown fully but more importantly they noticed her left eye was different from her right eye.

The towel wrapped around her did show off her figure along with her well toned arms and legs. The towel also covered her rather modest bust size as it showed off a bit of her cleavage. Though she looked rather nervous and embarrassed about it.

She carefully walked toward the hot spring and got in it carefully before looking at the two with a nervous look as the other two looked at her.

"What are you two staring at?" May questioned.

"Sorry it's just I haven't seen you without your beanie ever since the tournament." Star began.

"You look better without it anyway." She commented but May didn't see it that way.

"Wished I could still wear it even in here." May replied.

That seemed to get the twos attention about that statement she made.

"Why would you do that? You look beautiful without that thing." Mars commented.

"It's not my hair I'm worried about its... this." She said as she gestured to her left eye.

Star noticed that her left eye was different than the other one.

"Your eye? Why would you want to hide it?" She questioned.

May sighed at that question "I normally don't talk about it. It's too personal but I think since it's just the three of us here." May said before taking in a breath.

"I... was born without an eye." May admitted which surprised the two of them.

"Hold on a minute. What do you mean born without an eye? Isn't that kinda rare for that to happen." Mars replied rather shocked that May was sharing this with them.

"The term is called anophthalmia. It's a birth defect that effects the eyes when the baby is born. Been living with one eye all my life as for far as I know." May said.

"And the eye. Is that a replacement for the missing one." Star added rather curious.

"Well... yes and no. Surprisingly enough this is a prosthetic eye. It was surgically placed. It was a tough surgery to expand my palpebral fissures in order for it to even fit. Though even after the surgery my vision was rather unbalanced so I hid this eye under my beanie so that way my vision isn't all screwy." May said.

"Okay... but shouldn't your vision be all blurry right now." Mars added but May shook her head.

"When you've had it this long you know how to control it. I can adjust my vision when I need it." May said as she decided to give an example of it as her pupil dilated before readjusting it again.

"I can see far away objects. Comes in handy when you need to spot something from afar especially given my weapon of choice." May replied.

Star then thought a moment about what she said before realizing something.

"So that's how you were able to snipe me during our match. Because of that eye of yours." Star said as May rubbed the back of her head.

"Guilty as charged." May said with a smirk.

However Mars started to look over Mays body very carefully almost as if checking her out.

"Though I am rather impressed that you look that good. You workout?" Mars questioned which got a blush out of May.

"U-Um... a little bit yeah." May said nervously though Mars got up from her spot and got behind May. Mars then wrapped her hands around May and under her bust which made the rose haired girl squeaked in surprise.

"M-Mars! Wh-What are y-you doing?!" May cried out her face flushed red.

"Oh c'mon I just want a feel." Mars said teasing the girl as she gave her a small grope.

"Hm... for someone of your age you most certainly have quiet the size and volume. I'm almost jealous." She added with a grin on her face.

"Could you... please stop." May pleaded as Mars removed herself from Mays chest as she quickly covered up.

"Oh can't I have a little bit of fun." Mars teased almost enjoying herself about it.

"She's probably a little self conscious about how she looks. I guess that's why you wore that heavy jacket right." Star replies and May nodded.

"Yeah... let's just say I had an early growth spurt." She said.

"Though I do have something I'm wondering. What are you going to do now Star?" The sniper asked.

"Hm... what do you mean by that?" Stat questioned.

"Well... honestly I want to see the state that Vacuo is in. I know this place is infamous for having bandits and grimm around. Also maybe this'll help recover my aura. Maybe even figure out where this Carmine women is." Star replied.

Mars nodded "That sounds like a plan. I know just the place to start from too. Theirs a place that has been a hotspot for trouble." She said.

"Oh and where would that be?" May questioned.

"The capital of course. There is always trouble their and that's where most huntsmen and huntresses met up for gathering information if your living in Vacou.

Star thought about her idea for a moment before she nodded her head "Yeah I think that'll work. If we can go around and find out more about Carmine we should be able to pinpoint where she could be." Star said.

"We can't start today but we'll get an early start in the morning." May added.

"Alright then were all in agreement. Tomorrow we go to the capital." Mars said.

After coming to an agreement the three finally decided that they had enough time in the bath house and decided to leave so that way they can get an early start tomorrow so they can get a head start on finding out Carmines whereabouts.

Meanwhile back in the underground city Carmine was looking over the supplies list that she and some of her men needed to get to help the city continue to thrive but with how things are going she would have to go into some of the bigger cities in Vacuo which isn't something she wants to do.

She heard footsteps coming toward her as she looked and noticed that it was one of the men she sent after to get anything from that Star girl.

"Well it's about time. What in the world kept you?" She growled trying not to get upset.

"Sorry ma'am I had to make sure I wasn't followed but I've done what you asked. I've got a blood sample from the Star girl that you've talked about." He said bringing out the vial with the swab that was in it.

She gently took it from him with a smile on her face "Excellent work. Time to find out more about you dear." She said as she took the vial to a computer and placed it into a round slot that is connected to the computer.

Once the vial was in it immediately began scanning the vial and the blood that was in it.

It didn't take long for the results to come back and she was certainly surprised about the results that she grinned at this.

"Well... this makes things rather interesting." Carmine replied as the results show that Stars blood matched to someone. However that someone happened to be the owner of the largest dust company on Remnant, Jacque Schnee and it seemed to match another person as well. A lady by the name of Meena Kurama.

"Hm... now that's interesting. If this jacque person is the father of this child then that would mean that Star is an heiress to the company." She replied with a smirk.

"I suppose it's only right to return the daughter to the father." She added before getting up from her seat with an objective in mind but right now she didn't have the proper communications yet so she decided that one of the towns must have a communication and the only town that has that kind of communication was the capital thanks to the Cross Communication Tower that it has.

To her it would be an easy walk to capital from Corquina but doesn't mean it would be an easy walk. So instead of walking she decided that it would nice to use her motorcycle to head to the capital that way she can get their hours ahead of time before anyone can be the wiser.

So with a plan set she sought out for the capital of Vacuo.

F3: And that's chapter 3. Looks like Star and company will be heading toward the Capital and looks like Carmine is heading that way as well to use the CCT. Wonder how it'll turn out for the both of them. With that said this has been Fireuser3 and I'm out.
