Sorry about the long delay. My Mom has been in and out of the hospital and rehab centers since I posted chapter 2. Aside from Stephen King, matchmaker for Malec Secret Santa 2020, I haven't been interested in writing. This chapter has been almost finished since last October. I figured it was time to get my ass back to work.

Mikey and Magnus visit Max's world.

Max looks up, from the crossword puzzle he's working on, as a portal opens by the bedrooms. Mikey squeals as he runs over to the kitchen table. Max laughs as he picks the youngster up. Mikey kisses Max's cheeks and hugs him tight.

Magnus laughs as he walks over to the sofa and sits next to Magnus1, "Guess he didn't see you sitting here."

Magnus1 smirks, "Yeah, okay."

Max puts Mikey back on his feet and the youngster runs to the sofa, "Hello Not Poppa." He climbs onto Magnus1 lap and hugs him.

Magnus1 kisses Mikey's forehead, "Hello, little one." Mikey giggles as he gets comfortable in Magnus1's lap. Magnus1 asks, "Where's Maxine and Alec?"

Magnus smiles, "They went to the Museum. Some sort of display, I don't remember. When Alec told me, I had no idea what he was talking about but Maxine thought it was awesome."

Mikey smiles, "I did something wonderful."

Max giggles, "Again?"

Mikey slides off Magnus1's lap and runs over to Max, "Uh huh."

"What?"

Magnus smiles, "I now know where Alexander is, when he's in Idris."

Magnus1 raises an eyebrow, "Wow, that's amazing. How?"

"Agramon showed up in the loft a couple of weeks ago."

"Why would he do that?"

"Because he's Mikey's demon father."

Magnus1 leans back, "That would explain why Mikey is so powerful at such a young age."

Max's eyes widen, "Holy crap. I remember learning about Agramon when I took classes in the Institute. He's a nasty Greater Demon."

Mikey sniffs as he pulls a chair out and climbs onto it, "Rude man hurt Daddy. Rude man dead."

Magnus1 looks from Mikey to his counterpart, "He hurt your Alec?"

Magnus nods, "He was loitering outside our building when Maxine got home from school. Before I could go downstairs to confront him, Alec arrived home. Agramon put him under a powerful spell then they portaled into the loft."

"Your Alec doesn't portal directly home?"

Magnus sighs, "Something that goes back to when he was younger. I let him use the subway when it's warm. He likes to walk."

Magnus1 nods, "Yes he does, but it still makes me antsy."

"Preaching to the choir."

Max rolls his eyes, "Yeah yeah. Can we get back on topic here."

Mikey giggles as he swings his legs, "Me doing something wonderful."

"Exactly."

Magnus smiles, "Sorry. Agramon introduced himself as Mikey's father. He knew that we wouldn't listen to anything he had to say, unless we had a reason to. He used Alec as a shield, thinking that nobody would be able to overpower him. He wanted to take his son back to Hell. Mikey wasn't interested."

Max giggles, "Dah."

Mikey nods, "Blah on him."

Magnus continues, "Unfortunately for him, Mikey was able to push him away from Alexander, then easily destroy him."

Magnus1 smiles, "Another Greater Demon that learned the hard way not to harm your Alec."

"Yes. But after his death, his spell on Alec didn't wear off nor was I able to activate the love rune."

"That's not good."

"Mikey put his magic into the love rune. It broke Agramon's spell and we found out earlier this week that I can now find Alec in Idris. Oh and the rune no longer glows when I reach for it."

Max giggles, "I was right."

Magnus1 laughs, "Yes you were. That's amazing."

Mikey giggles, "Wonderful, Not Poppa."

Magnus1 chuckles, "Excuse me, Mikey. You are correct. It is wonderful."

Max smiles, "No more warning that help is on the way."

Magnus nods, "Exactly, and we are here to do the same for you and your Alec."

Magnus1 hugs his counterpart, "Thank you so much."

Mikey giggles as he climbs off the chair, "I get Not Daddy." He opens a portal and leaves the loft.

Max's jaw drops, "Holy shit."

Magnus nods, "Yes, his portals are faster than his fireballs."

Magnus1 takes out his phone, "Let me tell Alec that Mikey is in the Institute."

Mikey steps out the portal into the War Room. ShadowHunters stare at him. He smiles as he looks around, "I'm here to get Not Daddy."

Clive walks over, "I have no idea who that is, but I don't think so." He brings out his seraph blade, "How were you able to get past the wards?" Mikey wrinkles his nose as he walks around the ShadowHunter. Clive runs after him, "I said, you aren't going anywhere." He stands in front of the young warlock.

Mikey looks up at Clive, "You're in my way."

Clive nods, "You will leave as you came." He holds the blade in front of him.

"Uh huh."

"Clive, don't be an idiot. Stand down."

Mikey squeals as he runs around Clive and goes over to Izzy1, "Hello Not Aunt Izzy."

Laughing, she picks him up, "Hello, Mikey. It's nice to finally meet you." He kisses her cheek.

Clive lowers the blade, "He just portaled in."

"And?"

"He's a warlock powerful enough to get past Magnus' wards."

"And?"

"Obviously, he's a threat." He looks around at the other ShadowHunters for support. They shake their heads as they return to what they were doing before Mikey's arrival.

Mikey looks at Clive then at Izzy1, "What that mean?"

Izzy1 rolls her eyes, "He thinks you're here to hurt Alec."

Mikey's eyes widen as he wiggles in her arms. She sets him on his feet and he runs over to Clive. He pokes the ShadowHunter in the stomach after each word, causing Clive to step back, "Blah. On. You. I. No. Hurt. Not Daddy. Daddy. Or. Any Daddy. Blah. On. You."

Izzy1 laughs as she puts her hand out, "Mikey come, I'll take you to Not Daddy."

Mikey nods as he runs to her. He holds her hand then turns back to Clive, "Blah on you."

Izzy1 laughs as they walk to the elevators.

Clive shakes his head as he stands there, "What just happened?"

Meredith laughs, "A warlock child easily put you in your place."

Izzy1 and Mikey step off the elevator and walk down the hall to Alec1's office.

Mikey giggles, "The same." Izzy1 laughs.

The door is open and they walk in. Alec1 is on the phone. Mikey lets Izzy1's hand go and runs to him. Mikey rests his head against Alec1's leg. Izzy1 sits in a chair in front of Alec1's desk.

Alec1 laughs, "I can't wait to see it, thanks Meredith." He ends the call, puts his phone on the desk then picks Mikey up. After kissing his forehead, Alec1 smiles, "Thank you, I had my doubts about Clive, now I know he doesn't belong here."

Mikey giggles, "You're welcome."

Izzy1 nods, "Good thing we found out before he was sent on a mission."

Alec1 nods, "Indeed. So Mikey, Magnus tells me that I need to go home right now but I can't ask why."

Mikey giggles, "Uh huh."

"Okay, then. Let's go." He stands holding Mikey, "Izzy, you're in charge."

Izzy1 laughs, "Let me know what the big surprise is." She stands and walks over to her brother.

"Of course, I will."

Izzy1 kisses Mikey's cheek, "It was nice meeting you."

Mikey giggles, "Nice meeting you, Not Aunt Izzy."

Alec1 laughs as he picks his phone up, "Mikey are you on portal duty, or should I text Magnus?"

"I do, Not Daddy." He flicks his hand and a portal opens.

Alec1 glances at Izzy1, "And I thought Max at this age was quick with opening portals." He puts his phone in a back pocket.

Izzy1 nods, "From what Max tells me, this little one is not to be messed with."

"That's for sure. Ready Mikey?"

Mikey giggles, "Ready, Not Daddy."

"Later Izzy."

Mikey waves as Alec walks into the portal, "Bye Not Aunt Izzy."

Izzy1 waves until the portal closes, then she leaves the office.

Alec1 and Mikey step out the portal into the loft. Alec1 sets Mikey on his feet.

Alec1 smiles at the two Magnuses, "Okay, what's the big surprise?"

Max giggles as he walks over and sits in an armchair, "Mikey made the love rune more wonderful."

Alec1 raises an eyebrow, "How?"

Mikey giggles as he holds Alec1's hand and pulls him to the kitchen table, "I show you."

Magnus1 nods, "I'll tell you the whole story later, but basically Mikey amped up its range to Idris now."

Alec1 sits in a chair, "By the angel, that's amazing."

Mikey giggles as he pulls a chair closer to him and climbs onto it, "Wonderful, Not Daddy."

Alec1 laughs, "I stand corrected, wonderful."

Mikey giggles as he climbs onto the table then sits cross legged, "Better." He snaps the fingers on his right hand and blue flames immediately jump from his fingertips. He carefully traces the love rune on Alec1's neck.

Magnus1 gasps as the love rune glows purple. He isn't aware he's moving until he feels a gentle hand grab his elbow. He glances at his double then back at Mikey and his husband. Magnus smiles. Magnus1 nods as he slowly sits back on the sofa and waits for his heart to slow down.

Magnus whispers, "I know exactly how you feel."

Magnus1 nods silently, his eyes never leaving Mikey and his husband.

Max, with no one to stop him, is on his feet seconds after his 'brother' shows power. But his Daddy's raised eyebrow keeps him from running to the table. Max glances at the two Magnuses on the sofa then back to Alec1 and Mikey. Alec1's amused smile is all Max needs to relax and retreat back to the armchair.

Mikey giggles as he closes his fist, extinguishing the flames as quickly as they appeared. He kisses Alec1's cheek, "Done."

Alec1 laughs as he pulls Mikey into his lap and kisses his nose, "Wonderful."

Magnus1 can't help a sigh of relief, as the flames disappear from Mikey's fingertips. He quickly says, "So, how do we know it's been upgraded?"

Alec1 smiles, "I can go to Idris."

Max sniffs, "Besides that, Daddy."

Magnus laughs as he glances at his double, "Reach for the rune."

Magnus1 nods as he takes a deep breath. He smiles as the rune gives him the loft as Alec1's present location. He glances at Max as the rune stays black.

Max giggles, "Awesome."

Mikey climbs off Alec1's lap and runs over to his 'brother', "Wonderful, Max."

Max giggles as he lifts Mikey onto his lap, "You are wonderful." He hugs the youngster tight as he kisses Mikey's forehead.

Magnus1 hugs his double, "Once again, thank you."

Magnus smiles, "I owe you so much, it's the least I can do." He stands, "Mikey, time to go."

Mikey giggles as Max lets him go. He runs over to Magnus1, "Bye Not Poppa."

Magnus1 hugs him tight, "Goodbye Mikey and thank you."

Mikey's purple eyes sparkle, "You're welcome, Not Poppa." He runs over to Alec1, "Bye Not Daddy."

Alec1 picks him up and kisses his cheeks, "Always a pleasure, Mikey."

Mikey giggles as he runs over to his father. Magnus smiles as he picks his son up. He opens a portal. Mikey waves goodbye as his father walks into the portal.

Alec1 watches the portal close then laughs, "You two really thought I was in danger from Mikey?" He continues to laugh as he stands and walks to the refrigerator. He takes a bottle of water out then drinks from it.

Magnus1 sniffs, "Whatever, Alexander."

Max nods, "Yeah, whatever, Daddy."

Alec1 is still laughing as he sits back in the chair, "Mikey? I guess the next time Catarina shows magic around me, you are going to think she wants to hurt me."

Magnus1 stands and walks to the bar to make a martini, "Fine, call me over protective when I see a powerful warlock near you."

"But Mikey?"

"Whatever, Alexander."

Alec1 looks at Max, "And what do you think YOU were going to do, blueberry?"

Max shrugs as he folds his arms across his chest, "I don't know. I was just reacting."

"Reacting?" Alec1 laughs, "Mikey would not be pleased by either one of your 'reactions'."

Magnus1 sits back on the sofa and sips his martini, "Let's move on to another subject, shall we?"

"Fine. So the rune doesn't change color now?"

"Not when we are trying to find you. But Magnus said when he touches it to heal, it still glows."

"Interesting."

Max smiles, "It glowed purple."

"When?"

"When Mikey put magic into it."

"Interesting."

Max giggles, "You mean wonderful, Daddy."

Alec1 laughs, "Yes I do. Mikey is wonderful."

Magnus1 nods, "Yes he is and thank Mistress Destiny he's on our side."

"Indeed, Magnus." Alec1 stands, "I guess I'll go back to the Institute."

Magnus1 puts his glass on the coffee table and quickly walks over to him, "Why? It's Friday, let's go away for the weekend." He puts his arms around his husband's waist and kisses him.

Max coughs, "Family trip?"

Magnus1 sighs, "Of course."

Max giggles, "Don't sound so happy, Poppa." He stands then walks over to his fathers. He puts his arms around Magnus1 and Alec1, "Disney World?" He rests his head against Alec1's arm.

Alec1 smiles, "We haven't been in a while."

Magnus1 sighs, "Fine."

Max giggles, "Poor Poppa. I promise to give you and Daddy alone time."

Alec1 laughs, "Then it's settled." He kisses Magnus1, "Shall we?"

Magnus1 nods, "We shall." He opens a portal. Max giggles as he walks ahead of his fathers. Magnus1 and Alec1 hold hands as they follow Max.

Magnus and Mikey step into their loft. Mikey giggles, "Same."

Magnus shakes his head as he puts his son on his feet, "Every time, raspberry?"

Mikey giggles, "Every time, Poppa." He sees Maxine and Alec sitting on the sofa, watching tv, and runs over to them, "Hello, Daddy."

Alec laughs, "Hello, Mikey." He picks his son up and kisses his nose.

Mikey giggles as he sits in his father's lap. He leans over and kisses Maxine's cheek, "Hello, sister."

Maxine giggles, "Oh so formal."

Magnus laughs as he walks into the kitchen, "I'll just be over here." He gets grapes out the refrigerator and starts eating them.

Maxine waves, "Hi, Poppa."

He waves back, "Hello, blueberry."

Mikey giggles, "Silly."

Alec nods, "Very silly. Did you fix Not Daddy?"

Mikey nods, "Yes. Now I fix all the Daddys."

"I don't think so, raspberry."

"Why?"

Magnus throws the stem in the garbage, then walks past the kitchen table, "Because not all the Daddys have love runes."

"Why?"

Maxine giggles, "Because not all the Daddys are ShadowHunters."

"Why?"

Alec smiles, "Because some of the Daddys are mundanes."

"Why?"

"That's just the way things are."

Mikey shakes his head as he squeezes in between his father and sister on the sofa. He folds his arms across his chest and glares at the tv. Magnus glances at the lamps, but they don't explode. Mikey continues to shake his head silently.

Maxine whispers, "Mikey."

Mikey continues to glare at the tv, "What?"

Maxine smiles, "I love you."

Mikey blinks then slowly turns towards her. His eyes sparkle as he smiles brightly, "I love you." Giggling he climbs onto her lap and hugs her.

She kisses his nose and rests her head against his. Alec whispers in her ear, "Good job, blueberry."

She smiles at her father, "Thanks."

Magnus nods, "Okay, how about dinner? Then you can tell us about the trip to the museum."

Mikey looks at Alec, "Sharks?"

Alec laughs, "No sharks, sorry raspberry."

"Dinosaurs?"

"Not them either. Computers."

"Blah."

Magnus sniffs, "I gotta agree with my son. Blah."

Maxine giggles, "I bet Max would have liked to go with us."

"I knew eventually his name would pop up."

Mikey shakes his head, "Max with Not Poppa and Not Daddy and me and Poppa."

Maxine sniffs, "I can see Max too."

"Not today."

Alec laughs, "You two are not going to fight over Max."

Maxine nods, "I saw him first."

Magnus laughs, "Well technically, I saw Max first."

"You don't count, Poppa."

"What you mean I don't count?"

Alec laughs, "Okay, this is getting out of hand. Dinner?"

"Don't change the subject, Alexander."

Mikey slides off Maxine's lap and goes to Magnus, "Don't be rude to Daddy."

Maxine giggles, "Poppa in trouble."

Alec shakes his head as he stands. He walks over and picks Mikey up, "Nobody is being rude and nobody is in trouble. But I'm hungry."

Mikey kisses Alec's cheek, "My Daddy."

Alec laughs, "Don't start, raspberry."

Mikey lays his head on his father's shoulder, "I'm not starting."

Maxine stands and walks over to Magnus. She holds his arm and kisses his cheek, "My Poppa." Magnus chuckles as he rests his head on hers.

Mikey shakes his head, "Mine too."

"You have Daddy.

"I have both."

"And so do I."

Magnus shakes his head, "I'm ending this argument, I saw Daddy first and if it wasn't for that, we wouldn't all be here together right now. Understood?"

Maxine nods, "Understood, Poppa." She holds his hand.

Mikey nods, "Understood, Poppa."

Alec smiles, "I like when you take charge."

Maxine giggles, "Oh no, time for dinner."

Magnus laughs, "What ever do you mean, blueberry?"

Mikey giggles, "No kissing."

Alec laughs, "I'll see about that." Holding Mikey, he walks over to his husband. They kiss.

Mikey giggles as he pushes Magnus away, "No kissing."

Maxine nods as she pulls Magnus away, "Yes, Daddy is hungry, time to eat."

Alec smiles, "I'm not that hungry."

Magnus laughs, "Alec, before we have a mutiny on our hands, let's go."

"Fine."

"Pizza?"

Maxine and Mikey nod. Alec smiles, "Sounds good to me."

Magnus opens a portal, "PIzzaria La Notizia, here we come." They leave the loft.
