Chapter 3
After three moons of escape attempts, I was too starved to rest.
I had eaten all the plants that had mysteriously appeared while I slept and crouched down with thorns extended, on high alert in search for my captures, to kill and eat them so I could escape home.
I didn't have to wait long after dawn for a human to open a glass wall to enter, that I pounced upon and taw through, eating what meat I could reach before I sprinted off, straight through the human cubs in my path, bloodying my cloak while I fled.
It was not an easy escape, fire, snakes and various energies flew past as I dodged and weaved before diving into the nearby lake, escaping the energy throwers and entering the territory of the waterfolk.
The waterfolk did not enjoy my presence as I fled the water that saved me, back to the shore covered by many energy throwers before I was struck and knocked out.
What I was struck by, I will never know but when I was knocked out, my body fell to the ground as a pile of mosses, giant thorns and a sapling, as always happens when I fall asleep, majorly confusing my attackers…
