Storm pounced on the toy his owner had given him, sending it flying across the room. That action sent the kitty's fur spiking up, like sparks of excitement seeping from his storm-gray pelt. The two-moon old kitten darted after it, his tail lashing uncontrollably. The small hurricane the fluffy string created slashed a book off it's shelf as he clambered on the cabinet to get a better view of the toy.
The dog that lived in the same household as the small cat fell into his play position and up again, trying to play with the feline. Storm swatted at him, in a more playful than not way, and the dog gave a soft, yet playful growl, dropping down yet again.
Storm dodged the dog's advances, and gave a light mew of a laugh, heaving himself on his little climbing tree in the main room of his house. He then began cleaning, done with games for now.
Just then the adult twoleg opened the door to the great unknown and the dog ran out with them, barking fiercely as a rabbit hiding in the grass, which bolted of fear when it saw the big hulking mass of a creature bounding towards it. Storm fell into a stalk as he leapt down from his tree, moving towards the open door, trying to escape his pampered life.
He loved his twolegs, of course, but he was sure he would love the 'great outdoors' even more. Then he heard one of the kit twolegs holler, and all eyes turned to the kitten, who was already out on the patio. The youngest twoleg lunged to grab the feline delicately, but Storm dodged with great speed as he leapt over the fence off into the woods.
Well this will be an adventure, Storm thought, his paws adjusting to the dampness of the forest soil.
"Impressive," A new voice spoke, and Storm shivered, and he knew the stranger would be able to smell his fear-scent. The voice chuckled, then disappeared, followed by such a hollow silence which made Storm shudder, his litter collar bell jingling.
Just as his paws began to scrape the soil again, Storm felt a pain in his chest, and fell to the forest floor, his heart beating at what he probably could've guessed was faster than a monster speeding on the thunderpath.
Storm awoke what was probably a few hours later, and there was a small buzzing in the side of his head, but he chose to ignore it due to the setting change around him. That was when he noticed the cats around him.
Mmm, that was a good nap. A conscious thought that wasn't his own. The voice paused, and Storm could almost imagine the cat it belonged to cocking its head in question. Who are you, and what are you doing in my body, kittypet? The voice echoed off the walls of his skull, and all Storm could think of what to think back was a stammer.
Wh-where am I?
