Chapter 3

"Pick up a kunai

It has been while now that Naruto had been tasked to catch his power personified, while having to dodge, fight off and run away from the time wraiths and Red Flash. His only thought being his mother's old tune that she used to sing to him after training with her. Humming softly while going through another skirmish with his pursuers.

Dodging left, rolling forward, gripping on the ground while softly singing "Pick up a kunai...~" grabbing the Red Flash "and hit all the bullseyes.~" twisting around in a circle, Naruto took the Red Flash and used him to hit the surrounding time wraiths draining the Red Flash and clearing the time wraiths around himself "Work on those hand signs...~" stopping his spinning and seeing his power personified out the corner of his eye "so you don't need no eyes.~" quickly gripping harder onto the Red Flash, Naruto launched him very hard to appear in front of his power personified "Become very strong and survive the fighting...~" just as Naruto's shadow form was about to collide with the Red Flash, it quickly turned away from it in Naruto's direction "'cause you are my greatest, little favorite thing.~" fainting a forward launch, Naruto watched as the shadow moved slightly left and he moved as fast as he could in it's direction.

"Thank you, mom." Naruto whispered softly as he felt his power trying to free itself in a futile attempt. Grabbing it with both of his hands, Naruto sped up the absorption process until it gave up and flowed into Naruto. The result of this was lightning starting to spark uncontrollably off his body. Seeing this Naruto panicked and started vibrating uncontrollably.

Thinking quick, Naruto scanned for the time wraiths and Red Flash, only to find nothing but one figure standing in front of him. She was a beautiful woman in her early 20's. She had a slender figured and has fair colored skin with dark violet eyes. She also has dark red colored hair that reaches past her knees. She even wears a small black hairclip where she keeps her hair up on the left side of her face. She wore a high-collared, sleeveless blouse under a long, loose-fitting dress with a wristband on her left wrist and standard shinobi sandals.

Confusion is the only emotion going through Naruto as he stares at this familiar looking person in front of him. Unknowingly, stopping the lightning sparks from running rampant around his body.

"Ooh, you managed to stop it by yourself, most impressive champ." the familiar looking woman spoke with a kind smile in a familiar sounding voice to Naruto. Making him sure of who she was, but still confused on how he is seeing her.

"Mo-Mommy?" Naruto asked tearing up slightly despite trying to hold the tears back.

"Not quite, Naru. You see We are a cosmic being who don't have a solid form or shape to appear as. So, We kinda borrowed a form more... comfortable." the Kushina Uzumaki lookalike replied to Naruto with a sheepish expression. Unknowingly making it harder for Naruto to not let go off his tears, knowing that his mother was in front of him, but not with him for real.

"If you are not my mom, then what is wearing her skin?" Naruto asked quickly wiping his glassy eyes.

"We are her, but also more." the cosmic being replied calmly.

"I don't understand?" Naruto replied, tilting his head to the side.

"As a cosmic being We can become any person who is not a cosmic being, not to replace but to clone in a sense." the cosmic being answered with a soft smile.

"Who are you really then?" Naruto asked.

"We are the very ground you are standing on. We are the space and matter around you. We are the dimension you are dwelling in. We are what gave you your powers. We are your powers. We are the Speedforce, cosmic being that governs the force of motion in the universe."

Hidden Leaf Village

Council Chambers

Tense atmosphere was tangentially thick within the room the former powerful ninjas were occupying currently. Glares and stern expressions were carved onto the faces of the clan heads and the hokage with his councilors.

The five kage summit was already in effect and with it waves of chaos. Clan heirs being imprisoned by a decree signed and implemented by the kages, the detainment of people who were seen in great light by the masses, hoping to go back to normal, for developing abilities after the incident. The people gathered together to protest against the new decree.

However, what baffled people beyond belief is the disappearance of the reason why the ninja were powerless.

Initially, people were changing their opinion of Naruto, since incident zero-ninja proved that their theories about Naruto were wrong. However, people found another way to carry on their hate for the former jinchuriki. As the whole shinobi world was aware of who he was and what he did.

All former ninja villages had some reason to dislike him, though in the Hidden Leaf Village, his village of birth, hated him. Only a few could claim otherwise.

Back to the room, thick with tension, the former kage sat watching his former ninja clan heads and councilors glare at everything and nothing at the same time.

"Shall we begin today's meeting. As of last month the eastern side of the village..." Hiruzen began only to be interrupted by an ANBU, who still used taijutsu and kenjutsu.

Reading the atmosphere within the room, the ANBU Hawk quickly knelt down and spoke "Forgive me, Lord Hokage. But Naruto Namikaze has been spotted in the village by the local police."

"Koharu, reschedule this meeting for tomorrow. Hawk, you and I shall be departing to the HLPD immediately to find a way to capture the fastest person alive. Danzo deploy and lead the metahuman ANBU forces." Hiruzen ordered before exiting the room with ANBU Hawk to the newly created Hidden Leaf Police Department.

Had Sarutobi turned back and seen Danzo's face he would have seen the slight smirk that appeared on his stoic face.

Hidden Leaf Police Department

With Detective Asuma

Already going to his fifth cigarette, Asuma was struggling to digest the latest version of normal. One day, taking a break from missions, he woke up to find out that he couldn't use his chakra to light up his morning cigarette. Quickly heading to the medical center, now known as the Healing Leaf General Hospital, he noticed he was not the only one who thought it was a chakra manipulating type of disease or something along those lines.

Though currently he wasn't reminiscing about the past, he was scratching his head frustratedly as he kept failing to come up with a plan on the capture of the world's most wanted metahuman. Shady organizations and governments were straining resources to acquire or capture Naruto Namikaze.

Well the infamous Naruto chose to come back home and decided to start zipping through the village. Now he was tasked with capturing him. It'll be a while before his father appears before him and the captain.

Hearing the door open, he saw the devil he was thinking about, Captain Asshole himself. Though he wouldn't say it to his face as he was still a force to be reckoned with. Though it was just in taijutsu as he also was like him now, another victim of what he thought to be a child meddling with forces he couldn't comprehend.

"Asuma, the hokage is here to begin strategizing on how to capture the new 'flash of the Hidden Leaf'." the captain stated turning from the door.

"Well thanks a lot for ruining my smoking time. I'm sure your going to win a Nobel prize for smokeblocking, huh Yoshiro." Asuma replied to the captain who was ignoring him. Sighing to himself, Asuma tossed his barely lit, albeit his fifth in ten minutes, cigarette into a puddle that was caused by the weird storm last night. The storm was not the weird thing last night, it was the lightning caused by the storm that was mind boggling. In his whole entire life he has never seen multicolored natural lightning before.

Plus on top of that it struck random places within the village, setting the Hidden Leaf Village back in making an economical recovery.

With ninja villages losing their main source of income, other villages gained power and became major powers with the samurai also benefiting.

Undisclosed Location

ANBU Containment Site

Halting to a stop, Naruto scanned around, checking out the area before launching himself at the first entrance he saw. Knowing that the metahuman dampening equipment at the current time should be five minutes, Naruto ran at his top speed. Passing a lot of people he use to know, Naruto didn't let his emotions get in the way as he started unlocking all the jail cells of the metahumans besides the villains from his previous timeline's collection. 'One minute, twenty three seconds left.'

Making a U-turn, Flash using his taijutsu training from his mother, Kushina, started knocking out all the guards looking like a blur of red zigzaging through the corridors. Hiruzen seeing this happen in front of his eyes curses the time it took to activate the metahuman dampening equipment. Counting down the time subconsciously, Hiruzen began 'Ten...' two more ANBU fall 'nine...' three fall this time 'eight...' Yamato and Yugao try fighting back 'seven, six...' Yugao falls 'five...' Yamato and the remaining six ANBU throw kunai at Flash 'four...' Flash creates a barrier of lightning to block while Asuma joins him 'three...' Yamato and the remaining six ANBU fall 'two...' Asuma tries to say something to him, but he disappears and Hiruzen stops counting fearing for his son's life.

"One." Naruto finished unknowingly for Hiruzen, appearing behind him with Asuma's head being smashed with the Flash's knee against the wall.

Stiffening, the hokage, in all but power, turned around quickly as the lights turned red. The hokage was visibly relived that the metahuman dampening equipment activated.

Seeing this Naruto quickly reassured Hiruzen "Even if there was an eternity I wouldn't have attacked you, Grandfather."

"Yet you didn't hesitate to take out everyone." Hiruzen stated staring at Asuma unconscious body specifically.

"Well they are not as old as you. Plus there's no chakra to protect you now." Naruto replied moving to stand in front of him as the inmates started appearing within the corridor.

"Well I guess it was only a matter of time. I won't stop you from leaving." Hiruzen said taking a step to the side.

"Even if we do leave and go back to our families, what's going to stop you or the other villages from trying to do it again?" a random person within the metahuman crowd questioned.

The voice caused both Naruto and Hiruzen to feel guilty with Naruto responding first "That will not happen while I'm here." Naruto stated looking Hiruzen in the eye before turning around to address the crowd "I know I'm young, but age doesn't matter when human rights are being exploited, because some former important man is feeling small about himself. Things have changed and they should accept that. As long as I am around, I will be enough until I can find more people like me. People willing to do what is right. People who are going to fight against this injustice." Naruto finished turning back towards Hiruzen and began leading the people out of the ANBU containment site.
