Everything is going great for the Mushroom Kingdom. Bowser has been defeated, and it is now time to rebuild. But when Bowser Jr. teams up with a new foe, it's going take everything Mario and his friends have got to defend the Kingdom once again. Note: This is a sequel to The Return of the Bros. If you have not already, it is strongly recommended that you read that first.

A man clad in red will enter this world,

After defeating the lesser evil, the greater evil will rise.

The man in red and the woman in pink must unite,

Lest doom befall this tragic kingdom.

Author's note: Ok, I know this is an extremely random chapter, but I had to do something relevant to the story so that I could explain something to you and not break the guidelines.

I'll be honest. As much as I love this idea that I have come up with, my mind is blank. I haven't necessarily lost motivation, I just don't know what to write. The idea is in my head, but I am having a lot of trouble putting it into words. The next couple of weeks are going to be quite busy for me, so I probably won't have much time to write anyway. Because of this, I've decided that I will be taking an indefinite hiatus on this fic. The way it will work is this: If after these next few weeks I have figured out what to write, I will continue this fic. If I haven't, I will start another fic and return to this one in the future. I want to give you guys the best fic I can write, but to do that I'm just going to need some time. If you want to know when I do eventually post another chapter, make sure to follow either me or this specific fic. I'm sorry about the wait, and I hope you guys understand.
