Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto; it is the property of Masashi Kishimoto. If I did own it, it would be a little like this story. Also, the OC characters that will be introduced later in the series belong to me.

Anyways, enough rambling from me and let's get on with the story!

-1 month into Inari's pregnancy-

Inari was wondering the streets of The Kitsune Village, the reason for that is because she is right now in the shopping district looking for the right groceries to buy so there can be a dinner later. Kurama is right now away at work taking care of village matters as every leader of a village should. She really hoped that he would find at least some spare time to help her with shopping, in reality however, she also at the same time wanted to be there for him, helping him get it all done faster. Kurama insisted she stay at home and relax so she doesn't get stressed out, since it is not very healthy for a pregnant vixen, she reluctantly agreed but saw his point of view. Her husband just wanted to make sure she'd stay happy and healthy. Inari smiled at that, glad to meet a great man like Kurama.

Breaking out of her thoughts, she arrived at a stand that sells fruits and vegetables. Kurama told her that she should switch to a much healthier diet, to which she understands why. The baby also has to stay healthy right?

Inari looked at the shopping list she brought with her and nodded. What she noticed is that the stand is empty, which made her quite suspicious.

"May I help you with something young lady?" The vendor of the stand asked.

Inari looked at the man in question; He was fairly young and skinny, brown hair, has brown fox ears at the top of his head, and a single brown tail swinging from left to right gently. His eyes were a shining gold and slitted. He wears a black robe with designs of an orange fox head painted on here and there.

"Yes, I would like to have some of the things on the list here" She gives it to the vendor in which he takes it gently and places it on the table, securing it so the wind doesn't steal it.

"May I have your empty basket as well please?" He asked politely, noticing the incredulous look on Inari's face but didn't waste any time and she gave it to him.

"Thank you" He said as he puts the bag next to the list of products that Inari is here to buy. The mysterious kitsune then skims through the list looking for all the fruits and vegetables she's here to buy and nodded to himself as he memorised those specific items.

Inari got a little sick of the deafening silence and waiting, so she decided to confront him about his little act.

"What are planning here Mr?" She asked in an accusatory tone.

"I don't have all day to be standing here you know?!" She reminded, a little irritated.

"Just watch" was all he said before doing some hand signs when Inari's eyes became widened in shock as she recognised them, earning a smirk from the mysterious kitsune.

Demon Tora - Tiger - Dragon "Ink style: Word Separation" he said as some words on the list started peeling off the paper, transforming into ink, and then the kitsune used his telekinetic powers to drag the liquid into the empty basket filling it up slightly. Once that step was done, the man decided to do the last set of hand seals.

Dragon - Hare - Demon Ox "Kitsune Style: Eternal Flame" he said as he put it on top of the ink, igniting it instantly. Inari watched on in awe, as the flames died down and in place of the ink were all the fruits and vegetables that was on her list.

"You are part of the Kitsune Magi aren't you?" She smirked.

"YES! I AM!" He shouted out and did a slash downward with his left hand, standing in a strange pose.

Inari sweat dropped at his antics, but she did giggle a little at that. She had to admit, it was quite funny.

"That ink trick will never get old, you magicians always are coming up with new jutsu" She said through her fit of giggles as she started to calm down through deep, long breaths.

"I've heard a lot about the Kitsune Magi from my husband. From patrolling the borders to the Land of Magic where our village resides to protecting the village from outside threats from the shadows" She recited from what Kurama told her a few weeks ago. "What you guys do in your spare time is learn, create and master new jutsu's and share them with the Great Sage afterwards" She finished. "Am I right on the mark?" She asked with a smirk on her face.

The man's eyes widened as he now realised who this woman is.

"That's right Inari-sama" He bowed in respect.

"Enough with the formalities, come on, how much?" She asked, changing the subject.

"First-time customers have their first purchases for free" He said professionally.

"Alright, thank you very much" Inari thanked the man as she grabbed her basket now full of many fruits and vegetables as well as her shopping list which she put in her kimono's inside pocket and went to hunt for the next items on her list.

Once she was done shopping at the end of the day, she decided to head home. All of her products in her basket are stored in storage scrolls. 'They're so damn handy when it comes down to it' She thought to herself as she looked at her basket that is full of them, smiling to herself for not forgetting to bring them with her.

Once she has come home, she was greeted with her husband already home and laying on the couch sleeping peacefully, snoring loudly even with the tv on.

'must've had a really long day' she thought to herself as she took off her sandals and placed them neatly on the shoe rack.

She then went to the traditional Japanese style kitchen that she's always used to and placed the basket of storage seals down on the kitchen table. Once done, she went over to the sink and washed her hands. She then decided that she should start preparing the dinner.

Kurama had sensed Inari and started waking up, as soon as he was wide awake, he got off the couch and wondered into the kitchen, smelling the delicious meal his wife is cooking up.

"What're you making love?" As he came up and hugged her from behind gently.

"I'll be making a traditional cuisine today" She responded casually.

"That's a big meal" Kurama said as a matter of fact.

"I know, but it'll be worth it in the end" She countered.

"I'm just feeling extremely hungry today, that's all" She added.

"I see that you're not the only one huh?" He said as he rubbed her tummy where the baby is growing.

Inari just nods in agreement with a smile on her face as she continues to cook the meal.

"I'll help out, let me just get ready" He said gently.

"Thanks Kurama-kun" She thanked quietly.

"You're welcome Inari-chan" He responded and kissed her on the cheek earning a slight blush from Inari.

"I'm always here for you if you need me" He truthfully said.

"And I'm always here for you if you need me" She chimed in, booping him on the nose playfully.

"We're always here for each other" Kurama finalised and they smiled before kissing each other on the lips and when they parted, he went to go get himself ready to help his wife with cooking the cuisine.

In the end, the dinner was ready earlier than it should've been thanks to the power of Shadow Clones. "Itadakimasu!" They both said at the same time and dug in.

"I can't believe I have never thought of the idea to use shadow clones for cooking" She deadpanned.

"Thank you for bringing that up" Inari thanked her husband gratefully.

"You're welcome! In fact, that's how I finish my paper work so fast!" He laughed with Inari joining in through her slight giggles.

"However, although I do thank you for giving me that option, it kind of takes away the aspect of hard work and I'd rather do it myself because the feeling of accomplishment you get when you finish is just simply rewarding" She explained.

"I also enjoy cooking" She added.

"I understand Inari-chan" Kurama said.

"But don't push yourself too hard alright? If you need any assistance, I'm always there for you" He said with a gentle smile on his face.

"That's what the Kitsune family is about right? Helping the ones in need?" He reminded.

Inari nodded with a smile on her face, and they then continued to eat in comfortable silence afterwards.

-3 Months into Inari's Pregnancy-

Inari's tummy has become larger over the three months and right now, Kurama is helping her with house chores when all of a sudden she was feeling weak and he sensed her struggle, in which he was glad that his instincts were right on the mark as his wife suddenly fainted and managed to catch her before she fell. He sighed and decided to carry her up to their bedroom on his back. Turning the lights on with his tails, making sure it's not too bright, he gently put her down onto the soft mattress and kissed her on the forehead. Smiling gently, he went to grab a towel and wet it with cool water to ease her headache and went back to her and placed it over her forehead, wiping some sweat from her face in the process.

"Do you remember what we said about not pushing ourselves to our limits in times like these?" He sighed again as he gently reprimanded her.

"If you are ever feeling tired just go and rest, I'll finish what you've started hon because I don't want to see you suffering from fatigue like this" He said, worried about her wellbeing.

Sighing once more, it seems like he'll be telling the council he'll be away for a while. He trusts them enough so they can take care of things. He hopes that the council would understand. At least The Kitsune Village's council are not a bunch of corrupt fools and understand what it means to be an actual council unlike some other hidden villages. He won't be mentioning names though. Anyways, he went downstairs to finish what they have started, which are the house chores of course and did the hand sign for a familiar jutsu that most ninja know. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" He shouted as ten clones of him popped out of nowhere from the clouds of smoke.

"Alright, listen up! Inari-chan is at the moment suffering from fatigue from overworking herself so let us do this for her!" He declared.

"Yes sir!" They said in unison as the clones got to work on the chores, while Kurama himself went to look after his wife.

-2 hours later, late evening-

Inari started to slowly stir; she feels like she had been struck by lightning. Electricity is running through her entire body at the speed of light to her head. It hurts like hell! She moaned in pain and tried to get up but found she couldn't, still drained from all the work. Speaking of work, she needed to finish up with the chores asap! However, it seems she'll be staying in bed for a while. Turning her head slowly to the bedside table, she noticed what appears to be a note. With a bit of trouble, she managed to move her hand slowly over, peeled the note off gently and looked at what's written on it.

The note says: "Went to go shopping, be back soon! Also, all the chores were done by yours truly! P.S. Shadow Clones are awesome!"

Inari deadpanned at that last part. Then a tick mark appeared on the right side of her forehead, a signal that she was pissed that her husband had not told her. But then again, maybe she forgot about that. She guessed that was a slight bit of payback for stressing him out at the pregnancy test. She giggled slightly at that moment. She deserved it. At least she felt a little better afterwards from that. Guess happiness is the real cure, huh? Her husband always makes her smile no matter what. It's almost like he has taken it upon himself to keep this little family as happy as possible. He should know by now that he's not alone in doing this.

She heard the door to her room open, and in came the one she was thinking deeply about; Her Kurama-kun. He was carrying what appears to be a food tray, with a light meal on it. She was right on the mark about him being kind when she met him. Not only that, he's also charming, strong, and caring. She blushed at the sight of him in his dusk orange kimono.

"How are you feeling?" He asks her in a gentle and caring voice as he puts the food tray on to her bedside table.

"Feel like shit, but at least a tiny bit better thanks to the medicine" She confessed.

"No swearing" He gently scolded her.

"Sorry" She responded.

It was a comfortable silence for a moment, until Kurama broke it.

"I brought you a light meal" He said.

"It's a roast chicken salad" He added.

"I didn't put much on the plate, it's a light meal for a reason" He finished.

"Thanks Kurama-kun" Inari thanked him with yet another blush on her face. Kind and caring is an understatement!

"You're welcome" He said softly with a smile on his face.

-Final Month, October 10th, 9:00pm, The Great Kitsune Hospital-

It's time. Inari was laying on the hospital bed in a private hospital room. Kurama is holding her hand in a tight grip supporting her through this about to be difficult moment in time. He was nervous for her, however, the one who was truly scared, was the love of his life Inari.

"I'm scared Kurama-kun" She whispered.

"It's going to be alright my love" Kurama reassured her.

"You're going to be fine" He smiled a gentle smile, which calmed Inari down instantly.

Suddenly, a massive pain shot through her lower body unexpectedly. She screamed, and Kurama's ears drooped protecting him from the loud screech. After that, she calmed slightly down, although her breathing a little ragged. Once Kurama got his bearings straight from this unexpected event, he was immediately calling for help.

"We need a doctor, nurse, whoever's available ASAP! My wife is in extreme pain!" He shouted through the intercom in his and Inari's hospital room that's on the wall.

Once his message was sent across, a nurse kitsune with three green tails came in with Aria in a rush with the necessary equipment for the birthing procedure. Aria quickly made her way over to Inari with a worried expression on her face but kept her cool.

"Alright Inari, I want you to give me a big push okay?" She asked, being as supportive as she can.

Inari just blatantly nodded and pushed with all her might, moaning in extreme pain, looking at her husband who is giving her a gentle smile that radiates with kindness, making Inari calm down and tried to smile herself but it came out strained. All of a sudden, she screamed in agony again.

"Push Inari! You can do it!" Aria said in support while a green soothing chakra came out of her hands.

Inari pushed as hard as possible again, her breathing getting more and more uneven by the second.

"Just relax Inari, you're going to be alright! Try and take some deep breaths okay?" Kurama supported as he continued to hold her hand tightly while with the other he is stroking her head gently to keep her calm as much as possible. He might've looked calm on the outside, but on the inside he was really worried for her. What if she died and he'd be alone again? He decided to shake that thought off and focus on the positives instead and support his wife as much as possible.

The kitsune with three green tails that was standing in front of Inari had green chakra coming out of her hands to make the pain a little more bearable and gasped as she saw a bit of the head of the baby peak out of Inari and instantly knew the gender.

"I see a bit of its head! It's a boy!" She shouted.

Inari and Kurama were shocked at the revelation, but they couldn't stay like that forever as Inari let out another pain-filled scream.

Kurama continued to be supportive of her while Aria continued to use the green healing chakra on her womb to ease Inari's pain. The three tailed kitsune continued to keep an eye on the baby that's coming out of Inari slowly but surely.

-After Birth-

Inari was gently holding the kit as it was sleeping peacefully in her hands with a bright and happy smile on her face, although it was a little tired one. Kurama looked at the new-born with a proud and gentle smile on his face, their kit turned out very healthy with no problems at all. The only shocking thing about the child was of the inheritance of Yoki from Kurama and the Holy Energy from Inari. Of course the kit also has chakra as his third source. When they both found out from the baby's health check-up, they couldn't help but beam at the discovery! Nothing like this ever happened before, where something that is peaceful and chaotic (Ying and Yang) would be living in perfect harmony.

"Little Naruto…" Kurama softly whispered his son's name.

Inari smiled at this scene.

"Want to hold him?" Inari softly asks her husband, though her voice was a little raspy from all her screaming.

"Yeah" He answered.

"I do" He finished as he gently took the kit from his mother's arms.

In the end it was a comfortable silence, both sleeping soundly together with a loving smile on both of their faces. From time to time waking up to take care of Naruto.

-The Kitsune Village-

Once the birth of Naruto has been revealed by the courtesy of Kurama and Inari themselves to the village, it was a massive celebration. The musicians playing traditional music and many dancing like it was a disco. Food stands, attractions and many local, foreign kitsune, youkai, spirits and holy beings came to visit the village hearing about the birth of the child of the great king and queen of foxes. Security has been beefed up by a notch, with the possibly that there could be unwanted visitors from unknown lands entering and ruining this happy time in The Village Hidden Within Nature.

-Kitsune Family Residence, Early Morning, After The Festival-

The festival lasted the entire night, ending in the morning with it later being dubbed 'The New Life Festival' in a council meeting with Kurama's approval, where the village every October 10th will celebrate the birth of the Clan Heir and the next Great Sage as well as Fox King. Maybe even Fox God?

He chuckled a little to himself at that one. The council were being a little over-the-top.

"What are you chuckling about?" Inari asked.

"Just thinking about how the council went overly dramatic at the meeting after the festival" Kurama answered with a smirk on his face.

"Let me guess… they instantly named him clan heir?" She guessed, being okay with the idea.

Kurama nodded in response.

"The next Great Sage?" She guessed again, thinking that it's a possibility.

Kurama nodded in response again.

"Fox King?" She guessed yet again, thinking that it's possible, but unlikely.

Another nod from her husband.

Inari widened her eyes before asking the final question she had on her mind and took a deep breath.

"Fox God…?" She asked with a slight giggle.

Kurama sighed, knowing what's coming next and nodded again.

As soon as Inari saw him nod, she busted out laughing, rolling on the ground comically and uncontrollably.

"Oh my goodness! That's so funny!" She shouted and bashed her hands against the floor and then calming herself down with big, long breaths like she usually does.

"That's impossible" She calmed down and said seriously.

"Lady Kami is usually rarely impressed by anyone who wanted to become a god by going through a dangerous and long trial. Most either died or gave up and quit afterwards" She explained.

"Those who do complete the trial usually end up insane or corrupt with the thirst for power and had to be put down because she doesn't want that kind of poor influence on the celestial plains" she added.

"The only way you can impress Lady Kami is to have all the good qualities a person should have and in other words, you have to be perfect" She said.

"And as you know, nobody's perfect, and it's impossible to be perfect" She finished.

"In the Kitsune Family, anything is possible if you put your best efforts in your goals and dreams" Kurama quoted as he walked around her and hugged her from behind, kissing her neck.

"I guess you're right" Inari said as she moaned at his action slightly in pleasure.

"I'm going to go and check on little Naruto" She said and walked up the stairs to the baby's room.

Kurama just stood there and smiled. Thinking about how life just got way more interesting.

-1 year old Naruto-

When Naruto was one, he was being taught how to walk and talk. What Inari and Kurama noticed was that he had purple slitted eyes, a combination of blue and red. It was quite rare and unusual to see that in Kitsune. He was also learning much faster than any kit this age should. Kurama theorised this might be because Naruto inherited their intelligent mind and genius. Inari thought he was diving too deep into his theories and being ridiculous, so she simply said that he was just a fast learner. In the end they didn't give a damn, Naruto was Naruto and nothing, no, NO ONE is going to change that. He is who he is, and that is their kit. They were snapped out of their idle chit-chat and thoughts once they heard a noise that seemed to be coming from the floor, in which they realised that it was Naruto that was trying to get their attention. They looked down to see him pulling slightly on Inari's leg, but what they heard shocked them soon after and cried tears of joy.

"Mama" Naruto casually said in a slightly high-pitched voice as he looked at Inari.

"Papa" He said after as he started crawling to Kurama on all fours in hanyou form.

"What is it kit?" Inari asked gently and kindly with a motherly smile on her face, still in shock at what she just heard and turned around to see her husband in the same state.

However, this wouldn't be the last shock of the day as a few hours later little Naruto was walking on two legs with support from his parents. They were so excited that Inari and Kurama decided to make a big dinner in celebration of their son's first achievement. It was truly a special day for The Kitsune/Okami Family!

-3 Years Old Naruto-

It has been a whole two years, and he has developed his ability to speak even further now, able to speak in small sentences with basic words. Obviously he has mastered his ability to walk and right now Naruto was in his room with his mother Inari, teaching him how to read and write. She noticed that the kit is always eager to learn something new, and it doesn't matter what skill it is as long as it is interesting. He's a stubborn and determined one. She smiled at that, he definitely inherited hers and Kurama's personalities to some extent. Time seems to fly by so fast while you're having fun. Who cares about time when you're an immortal? She was brought out of her thoughts when she saw Naruto looking at her with curiosity.

"What is it my dear Naruto-kun?" She asked softly with a gentle smile on her face.

"Where daddy?" He responded with a question of his own.

"Your daddy is at work" She responded as simply as possible so he could understand. Although Naruto's speech has improved greatly, he still has to work on his grammar.

Naruto nodded his head slightly in understanding.

"When he coming home?" He asked. He misses his daddy already even though it has been a few hours since he left.

"He'll be home soon" She said reassuringly while ruffling his soft, slightly spiky white hair with strands of red clearly visible. Naruto's golden tails were swinging behind him gently with the gold fox ears to match sitting there, a bit too large for his head but it's normal for kits this age. He was wearing a white kimono with strands of golden patterns on it and was not wearing any socks because Naruto found them uncomfortable.

Naruto accepted the answer and turned his attention back to the book that he's reading out loud. The reason for that is so Inari can help him with any words or sentences that might be difficult to say or to understand. The book was a children's story; about a mouse who travels away from home to defeat the bad guy and save her uncle. Although it was a simple plot to the story, it was enjoyable. Naruto obviously loved it if her senses were correct. With writing it was a little more challenging because he had to write down the letters of the alphabet. It was a rough start, but with encouragement from his mother Inari, he managed to at least get the first four letters right.

"Good work Naruto" Inari praised and clapped her hands with a gentle and happy smile on her face.

Naruto smiled at the praise and jumped at Inari to give her a hug which she returned instantly. It was a comfortable silence for a while until they heard the door slam open and a very familiar and tired voice come from downstairs.

"Honey, Naruto, I'm home!" He shouted.

"DADDY!" He shouted back as he quickly released himself from his mother's embrace and ran downstairs as fast as he could. Inari smiled at that and followed suit.

Kurama just came back home from work and did his usual ritual; Shut the door behind him, take off his sandals and place them neatly on the shoe rack, wash his hands and what happened next he did not expect at all. As he was making his way to the couch to get some rest from his job as the Great Sage, a bundle of white and red joy came running up to him at the speed of light and jumped up at him full force enveloping him in a tight embracing hug filled with love, which Kurama happily returned with a smile on his face.

"Hey son!" He happily said with a tired smile on his face.

"You miss your daddy?" He asked when he got a rapid nod in response which Kurama found slightly amusing and funny at the same time.

In the end, it was a nice and relaxing evening; They had dinner, went outside into their massive garden to play, watch the stars, and finally bed time for little Naruto. Inari always sings him a lullaby each night because he was a little scared of the dark. Once she was done and saw that he was sleeping peacefully with the night light on beside him, she went out of his room quietly and decided to go downstairs to finish up on some of the chores. Of course Kurama helped.

When they were done with everything they needed to do, they went to their bedroom that they always slept in and went to do their daily rituals before going to sleep.

-4 Years Old Naruto-

The year has gone by very fast and the improvement in Naruto's capabilities of writing and speaking has improved tenfold. Right now, the little Kitsune family was outside in their massive garden playing and interacting with the local wild youkai and animals that come by every now and again to say hello. Kurama and Inari were keeping an eye on him to make sure that he didn't get into trouble. They made sure to also teach him manners because it is important to be professional in any given situation. Speaking of manners, they also started teaching little Naruto the rights and wrongs if he doesn't want to get into real trouble.

The garden itself again was massive; made in the style of the field of flowers where Kurama and Inari met. Even though it was a long time ago now, that moment still felt like it happened yesterday. There was a small obstacle course that has been built not long ago off to the left for Naruto where he can keep himself occupied if he gets bored, a large koi pond with a small waterfall at the back, a swing-set to the right attached to a large and tall oak tree, and the centre of the garden was left as a spot for training.

Kurama and Inari smiled as Naruto ran around the garden with the friendly animals and youkai, when Kurama suddenly remembered something that he had to do.

"Naruto, come here for a second" Kurama said gently to his son.

Naruto nodded and said goodbye to the youkai and animals, walking over to his parents soon after. Inari and Naruto both have confused looks on their faces as Kurama motioned them to follow him into the house in which they obliged. They thought that it had to be important. Kurama went to the living room and sat down on the usual red couch in front of the tv.

"Hey Naruto" He said gently getting Naruto's attention.

"Yes daddy?" He asked tilting his head to the left in curiosity.

"What are your thoughts on becoming a ninja?" He asked in a serious voice.

"Nin… ja?" Naruto said more like a question then a statement, confusion evident in his voice.

"Yes, a ninja is a person who protects and serves their village with their utmost loyalty, go on missions as well as patrol the borders of their land and country" He lectured.

"They also fight to protect what they love and care about" Inari added.

Naruto's eyes widened at this new information.

"Of course it is up to you if you want to be a ninja or not, but if you do, I want you to sign this paper at the bottom with your signature son so I can send it to the Ninja School that we're opening next year" Kurama explained.

"Ninja School?" Inari asked.

"It's more like a course that lasts a year" She reminded.

"You'll be given the basic run down of the ways of a ninja, and at graduation you'll be given an official certificate by the Great Sage himself, saying that you're eligible to study at any ninja academy in the great five nations" She lectured.

Kurama slapped himself in the face since he forgot about that, and then looked at his son being serious again.

"It's up to you son" He said.

"If you don't want to I don-" Kurama was cut off when Naruto interrupted him.

"I'll give it a try!" He said with a determined look in his eyes.

Inari's and Kurama's eyes widened at this.

"I, Naruto Okami Kitsune, have a dream" He said.

Kurama and Inari nodded telling him to continue, shocked at Naruto's revelation.

"I want to one day unite youkai and humans as one! I know that the history between our kind and them haven't been a friendly one however!" He shouted. Shocking his parents even further.

"I'm going to be the one to change it and make peace with the human race and then the two races can finally understand each other!" He finalised.

Inari and Kurama smiled proudly at their son. Oh how fast he's grown and matured! He definitely inherited Inari's determination and persistence!

"Before you say anything else…" He paused for dramatic effect.

"I'm going to be as strong if not stronger then you two combined one day! Dattebayo!" He declared with a smile that rivals the sun itself.

'Definitely inherited my husband's verbal tic' Inari thought to herself and giggled quietly to herself to which Kurama quickly noticed and did a playful glare at her.

"I'm sure you will Naruto-kun" Inari said in a proud voice.

"I would like to see you accomplish that dream Naruto, I approve" Kurama smiled a fatherly smile.

"It would be something to see" He added.

"Who knows? Maybe you'll even take my title, Dattebayo!" He finished with a hearty laugh.

"Oh don't worry dad! I promise I will!" Naruto shouted, tackling his father into a hug.

Naruto then looked at his mother Inari with determination.

"You might say that becoming the next God of Foxes is impossible, but I'll prove you wrong mom!" He declared once more.

"Nothing's impossible in the Kitsune family if you try your best Dattebayo!" He finished.

They all then had a hearty laugh together until they all relaxed through deep calming breaths.

"Alright, if you're so sure of yourself then sign the paper with your name at the bottom there and you'll be all signed up for the ninja course!" He instructed with a smile on his face.

Naruto grabbed the pen and eagerly signed his name on to the form with his signature very neatly and gave it to dad, jumping up and down eagerly.

"Alrighty then! You're all set!" Kurama said excitedly ruffling Naruto's soft and spiky hair.

"You'll be added to the School's register of candidates as soon as I give this in, and next year is when all the fun begins!" He shouted.

Naruto's tail was wagging like crazy in excitement, and he also had stars in his eyes, smiling the brightest smile you could ever imagine. He ran out into the garden to tell all his animal and youkai friends of what happened.

Inari and Kurama smiled proudly at their son, he was sure going to achieve wonders.

"When should we start training him?" Inari asked.

"Soon Inari-chan, soon" He said kissing her on the cheek.

Inari nodded and blushed at his action.

Inari then saw Kurama yawn, her eyes widening in realisation.

"It's getting late my love" He reminded her.

"We should start preparing dinner" He suggested.

"Hai Kurama-kun" She agreed with a smile on her face and walked off towards the kitchen.

Their life was about to completely change.

End of Chapter

My goodness this one was difficult to write! But I hope you enjoyed! Didn't I say that this chapter would be wholesome? Anyways, as I was saying, this was the introduction of Naruto Okami Kitsune! Which as you know, he will become overpowered at some point through hard work and training ofc. That's what the original series was all about right?

The next chapter will be the last of the prologue arc, and then we will move on to the first ever arc of this fanfic! The Ninja Course/Academy Arc! Yay! Now you also know why Naruto wants to become a ninja.

Btw, I hid two JoJo references in this chapter. Wonder if you spotted them? (Can't wait for Stone Ocean Anime). (I don't own JoJo also, property of the man Araki himself).

New jutsu used:

Ink Style: Word Separation – A jutsu that turns the user's desired object into ink/peels of all the words that are written on paper which then turns back into ink.

Kitsune style: Eternal Flame – Summons a bright white flame that with the user's command, can turn any object into something else entirely.

Anyways, once again I have to say that you guys are awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read my fanfic!

Constructive criticism will be considered, flames will definitely be ignored, positive reviews are greatly appreciated and ideas for the story will also be taken into consideration.

Please read, favourite, follow and review!

Anyways, see you all in the next chapter!

Ja Ne!
