The Hivemind Universe Expeditionary Force gathered on a podium in front of the golden portal which was large enough to fit an entire fleet of starships through. Behind the HUEF was large crowd of fellow hiveminds to arrived to send them off, having already given their speeches and affirmed an oath to fulfill the objectives of their mission. The HUEF prepared to cross the Rubicon into a brand new world. The expressions of the HUEF was variable: Andromeda Hivemind was visibly excited, Aquarius Hivemind was scowling, Capricorn Hivemind had a thoughtful expression on their face, Centaurus Hivemind wore a confident smile, Cassiopeia Hivemind was serene, Corvus Hivemind had their eyes closed and was humming a tune, Cygnus Hivemind was grinning and waving to the crowd, Draco Hivemind was indifferent, Eridanus Hivemind was flexing their muscles, Gemini Hivemind were holding each others hands and waving to crowd, Hercules Hivemind had their arms crossed with their attention focused on the portal and Hydra Hivemind was stoic although internally they were troubled.
Each of the hiveminds who were part of the HUEF had sent a single form for this mission as there was no need to go out in large numbers. The forms chosen by the hiveminds of the HUEF differed in size, shape and gender.
Andromeda Hivemind's form was that of a pre-teen pink haired girl with green eyes. She wore a red t-shirt with a smiley face on it, khaki shorts and sandals. Her hair was cut short in a pixie cut.
Aquarius Hivemind had a form that resembled a punk with a giant red mohawk, piercings, sleeveless denim jacket with a black shirt underneath with a skull and crossbones design and black high top shoes.
Capricorn Hivemind's form had grey eyes, green hair and freckles. He was slender and of average height and he wore a purple sweater, jeans and brown loafers.
Centaurus Hivemind's form dwarfed the rest of the HUEF with the exception of the Hercules Hivemind. His form had broad shoulders and was very muscular. He had his gray hair in a crewcut and wore a tight fitting red sweatshirt, black shorts and combat boots.
Cassiopeia Hivemind had a female form with long wavy dark green hair and baby blue eyes. She wore a white toga and was barefoot. She had a crown of flowers on her head and had golden bracelets on her wrists.
Corvus Hivemind's form was a tall albino male with jet black hair which went past his shoulders. He wore a black suit and tie with a fedora and was wearing shades. He had black leather gloves on his hands.
Cygnus Hivemind's form was that of a tall blonde teen. He had blue eyes, a straight nose and a square jawline. He was muscled though no to the same extent as the Centaurus and Hercules Hiveminds. He wore royal blue gym clothes underneath a maroon tracksuit with white sneakers.
Draco Hivemind form was red haired and brown eyed male with beard who had an aristocratic look and wore green 18th century clothing with white gloves and he also had a cane.
Eridanus Hivemind had a stocky form with hunched shoulders that made him appear as if he was slouching. He wore a plain white wifebeater, jeans and cowboy boots. He wore a straw hat and he had coarse black hair and his eyes were black as his hair. He was smoking a cigarette.
Gemini Hivemind had two identical forms one male and the other female. They were both gingers with orange hair and green eyes. Their outfits matched in colour, the male form was dressed in a green shirt, khaki trousers and flip flops. The female form of the Gemini Hivemind had a green dress with black modesty shorts and she also wore flip flops.
Hercules Hivemind's form matched the Centaurus Hivemind in height and build. He had short dark purple hair and rough stubble. He wore a black singlet with a matching colour windbreaker jacket over it and red sneakers.
Hydra Hivemind had a male form who had curly shoulder length white hair and golden eyes. He had tan skin and an aquiline nose. He wore a grey cloak and had a golden medallion.
Taking one last look at the crowd the HUEF entered the portal to the other side.
