Jaune POV

Why me? What did I do to deserve this? Was it because I stepped on a ladybug? Was it because I hit an invisible fairy or something? Did I somehow sacrifice my life's peace for eternal happiness in heaven or whatever because of something terrible? Dear Monty, why me!

Fuck you, Dad!

Fuck you to the fiery pits of hell, you bastard!

Okay, with my rant done, the girl Ruby was still staring at me and sighed and begrudging to introduce myself.

"I'm Jaune," I replied quietly.

"Nice to meet you, Jaune!" Ruby said with a cheery voice.

"Um, thanks? Likewise?" I said, not knowing what to say next

I will say no one ever said I was a riveting conversationalist. That department would be my cousin Kai. And even though he hangs out with me all the time, he knows how to converse with people.

Anyway, Ruby sat down next to me as if she had been my friend for a long time.

Ruby then sits next to me, which made me angry, Jesus! Personal space, Rose! You ever heard of it?

"So Jaune, why were you running like a demon was after you?" She asked, very curious, making me kind of nervous.

"Um... because I like track and field, so I like to practice," I said quietly, sweating bullets.

"Me too!" She said, pleased, "I was hoping to join track and field for my school team! I'm pretty fast!" She said with a confident smile

"That's... good," I commented lamely as this was unbearable.

Oh god, why me?

Ruby then looks at Jaune asks if he was okay. "Are you okay, Jaune? You look like you are expecting someone to come and stab you in the neck." She asked, glancing around.

That would preferable, Rose.

Dear God, could this get any worse.

I then realized I made a mistake, and my cousin Kai shows up. I paled as he walks over to us. Once Kai was there, he looked mad because I left him behind and looked glad he found me.

"Finally, I found you, Jesus Jaune! Even when I drafted with you, I still got left behind." Kai said, a bit out of breath. While Kai was catching his breath, he feels a tap on his shoulder and sees Ruby.

"Hi, there, my name Ruby Rose. What's yours." Ruby said, which Kyle was shocked and looked at me for help.

'Make something up.' I mouthed to him, which Kai nodded and turned to Ruby, looking at Kai with a smile on her face.

"Uh… Hi, my name is." Kai then thinks up a name. "My name is KC, and nice to meet you, Ruby." He said which Ruby then stares at Kai more which made him nervous.

"Uhh...is there a problem?" Kai asked.

"Your eyes are different. That is pretty weird." She said, which I then paled a bit as Ruby just insulted Kai about his eyes.

Kai then stopped being nervous and then looked towards Ruby with an angry face, making Ruby scared. "Care to explain what you mean by that, Ruby," Kai said with a growl.

I then see Ruby waves her hands in panic. "No, no, I didn't mean to insult you. I mean, it is just I have never seen anyone have two different eyes. I mean, look at me. I have silvers eyes ain't that weird." Ruby said, which calm Kai down, and nodded.

"I see, well, okay," Kai said, still a bit angry about what Ruby said about his eyes. Kai then walks over to me and helps me up, and we start walking away, only to be stopped by Ruby.

"Wait, let me help you out," Ruby said, which surprised Kai and me.

You have to be kidding me! We've barely known us for more than half a minute, and you pissed off my cousin. What the hell!

"That won't be necessary. I can take Jaune home on my own." Kai said in a calm and a bit annoyed voice.

"Yeah, so if you don't mind us, we are leaving," I said, which Ruby then kept insisting.

"Come on, look, I didn't mean to be rude also. Won't it be more fun if you both had someone to talk to?" She replied.

"No, thank you, plus Jaune likes listening to music when we walk," Kai said and gesturing to my headphones.

She pouted at this, "But I'm bored."

'How is that our problem?' Both Jaune and Kai thought.

"Don't you have somewhere you need to be? What about your house?" I asked instead.

"Yeah, aren't your folks worried about being here out late?" Kai said, hoping she would leave us alone.

Ruby then frowned at this, "I needed to get away from them all for a bit."

I sighed as I could relate, but I wasn't going to tell her that.

"Oh, sorry for asking then," I said.

She blinked, "Most people would have said why, aren't you curious?"

"We not most people, Ruby," Kai said.

I shrugged, "I don't count myself among most people, and it's your business, not mine."

She smiled, "You two are interesting."

I blinked but smiled without humor, "I will rather be boring then." I said, which Kai nodded as well.

"Same, here. Anyway, see, yeah." Kai said.

Ruby then echoed at the sentiment as me and my cousin I both jogged out of the park; the faster we left, the better we didn't have to see Ruby.

When Kai and I got back to the house, my mom and dad were nowhere to be seen, so both of us made our way back up the stairs. Kai then told me he would use the other shower, so I nodded and went to our room and took a quick shower before starting our homework. Anyway, as both Kai and I were halfway through our math worksheet, there was a knock on the door.

"Jaune? It's me." My dad said.

Kai then turns to me and gestures at the door.

"..." He'd better not say he wants to talk.

"Look, son... I'm sorry, I shouldn't have bothered you, and how you do things, it's just... I worry about how closed off you are. You barely spend any time with anyone besides your cousin Kai, and whenever you do go out, it's purely for exercise." he rambled, "I know you think it's for the best, but everyone, even your sisters except your cousin, thinks this isn't healthy. Jaune, the only time I see you come out of your room is for meals or walks with your cousin these days." Dad said which I then turn to Kai, who looks away from me, indicating he agrees with my dad but wasn't saying anything not to offend me.

I sighed and put down my pencil, and turned to face the door, "Dad... I told you before, don't meddle in my life. I get that you worry about me, but you had no right to do this without asking me, in all honesty. It's my life. If I want to make friends or stay in my room, that isn't something you get to decide for me. So now, if your done apologizing, Kai and I have work to do and don't want to be interrupted." I said which Kai nodded.

I heard my dad heave a sigh, and I turned back to my worksheet and put in my earbuds as an extra precaution, as I didn't want to have to respond to anyone.

Kai then looks at Jaune and sighs. "Cuz, what happened to you? You used to be so lively. What changed?" Kai then looks over to his phone to see a happy Jaune and Kai at the amusement park when they were still freshmen.

The next day, I hear that damn alarm clock ringing, but lucky for me, Kai turned it off.

Both of us then went back to sleep, but sadly we heard a knock on the door.

Both Kai and me groaned as we both heard my mom knocked on the door. "Boys, wake up. It's time for school," she said.

Both Kai and I grumbled at her displeased tone. If both of us didn't get up, my mom would come in and shake us. After that, she would dump water on our heads. Neither of those possible eventualities was tame enough to make me miss out on school. I still remember that time, Kai and I didn't want to wake up and go to school. We tried locking the door only for my mother to pick the lock and throw water at us to wake us up. Dear god that was the day never to make my mom wait to go to school.

Both Kai and I heaved ourselves out of bed and started our morning routine before scarfing down a quick breakfast which consisted of milk and toast. Kai and I made a sandwich which mine was ham and cheese, while my cousin was the same, only it had provolone, and then both filled a thermos with some warmed-up soup. We both then grabbed a water bottle from the pantry since both of us were probably going to miss lunch.

Kai and I were about to head out the door when a hand came down on my shoulder, which Kai stopped, and both of us turned around to see my mom lightly glaring at me. "Kai, go wait outside. I am going to talk with Jaune." She said which Kai was going to protest, but my mom looked at him with a frown and went outside.

Once I was alone with mom, I inwardly scoffed at her and then outwardly raised a disinterested eyebrow, "So you going to tell me I need to apologize? Maybe tell me I'm grounded or yet cut my allowance?" I said in a noncaring voice.

My mother frowned, "You were out of line with your father yesterday." She said, very furious.

"So was he. And you as well, for that matter." I said in an annoyed tone.

"We're your parents," She said, which pissed me off.

"You promise neither of you said you would bother me, you said you would back off, and instead, you stepped right in. I'm not apologizing." I retorted, "You didn't ask for my opinion. The only one that did was Kai."

"We shouldn't have to, and we only want what's best for you. Kai would agree." She said, which made me mad even more.

"Don't you dare bring Kai into this! If you thought me not having any friends besides Kai was a problem and being a shut-in, well, then you should know I don't even want to deal with you two more than humanly possible." I replied flippantly, "You want to go on a 'family outing,' you can leave me out of it. Just bring Kai. He doesn't mind going." I said, looking at her with a scowl.

My mother then winced, and I shook her hand off before walking out the door and closing it behind me. I see Kai waiting for me, and I sigh.

"Let me guess? Aunty still trying to make you apologize?" Kai said which I nodded.

He sighed and shook his head, "I sometimes don't understand them what they are thinking." He rambled, "Oh well, any way you ready Jaune because we are going to have the fight of our lives." Kai said, which I nodded and then looked at the sky and took a deep breath. I then looked at my cousin and nodded, and we both start heading to school ready to meet our doom.

I will be honest; throwing a tantrum like a child was childish, but I didn't care; I was still angry. My parents broke their word, and I generally disliked people who lie out of principle. As much as they were my parents, they weren't exempt; if it were a small lie, it would be forgiven and forgotten, but screwing me over like this was horribly low for them.

It would take a miracle for me to forgive them even if they ask Kai for help which was doubtful. Aunty Lily (god bless her soul) taught Kai to keep his word to the letter fuck let me tell yeah when he said he would get his blue belt in Arnis; he kept his word.

Anyway, once Kai and I made it to school, I put on my usual mask, and both slips into the doors. I nearly walked away as I saw my worst nightmares already coming true.

Yang Xiao Long.

"Shit looks like she is looking for us, Jaune," Kai said, which I nodded. Kai then looks at me and puts his hand on my shoulder to calm me down.

"Jaune, if things get ugly, I hold her off, got it?" He said, which I frowned but nodded.

I will be honest as much as I appreciate my cousin's protection, but I honestly did not want him to fight her to protect me. Don't get me wrong; I knew how to throw a punch, but I will do so if it meant protecting my family, and the last thing I want is my cousin to get hurt.

I will be honest; things were looking bad. Yang knew that Ruby would be escorted by someone today, but the fact she was looking for that said person was terrible. It doesn't even help that two people will accompany her because I really don't want Kai to fight that monster.

Anyway, Kai and I saw she was sitting in the Foyer, eyes scanning the hall critically.

"Shit, she looking like a predator waiting to catch its prey," Kai said, to which I agreed.

Lucky for us, the best thing about being invisible to ordinary people was, no one could get a read on Kai or me. Yang had no clue who we were or what we looked like, where we hang out, or what we do, so she had to make do with looking for posture.

Fortunately, Kai and I knew what she looked for: people in hunched over position, people trying not to draw attention, and people sloppily skirting around her. All of which were newbie mistakes in trying to hide from someone. If you acted like you were hiding, you were bound to be found.

So Kai and I opted to hide in plain sight by casually walking into a moving group of people and acted as if nothing was wrong. Kai and I slipped around them like water and never made to step in between a conversation. People naturally scooted slightly out of our way, and Kai and I calmly walked through them, easily sidestepping and maneuvering through the small crowd. Both of us made our way into the side hall and noticed the second line of defense.

The office.

No doubt Ruby was inside waiting for her escort; however, Pyrrha Nikos and Blake Belladonna were standing at the doorway that was slightly away from the office that led to the cafeteria. If I were any less observant, I wouldn't have noticed how both of their eyes flicked from looking at each other to glancing at the door to the office.

"Well shit, we got the amazon and the cat," Kai said which I looked at him with a really look.

"What Phyrra is a star athlete, and Blake has a bow that makes it look like she got cat ears," Kai said, which I nodded as that it made sense.

"Well, Jaune, what do we do because Pyrrha Nikos and Blake Belladonna are at the office door probably because Yang asked them a favor to see what we look like," Kai said, which I nodded and tried to think of a plan.

After a few minutes, I had an idea and told Kai to follow my lead. Kai nodded, and we both made our way to the office only to sit on one of the chairs outside.

I pulled one of my reading books out of my bag and flipped it open to the latest page. While Kai just grabs his phone and starts play games on it. From my visibility, I could see the girls watch Kai and me for a moment before turning back to whatever conversation they were having.

Good, they don't think Kai and I were here for Ruby. As Kai and I waited there for a couple of minutes, we pretended that we were called into the office by the principal, put our stuff away, and headed into the office.

Once inside, we saw Ruby looking worried and bored as she tapped away on her IPad. When she saw Kai and me which cause her jaw dropped.

"Jaune? KC?"

"Hey," Kai said with a shrug.

While I sighed and tried to smile, "Sup?"

Kai POV

"Why didn't you tell me you two attended Signal?" Ruby asked, still shocked that all of us go to the same high school.

"You never asked," Jaune and I said.

"You could have brought it up!" Ruby said.

"Why would I? The only bit of our conversation containing school was your want to join the track and field team this year," Jaune said.

"I agree, plus you commented on my eyes being weird, so why would I tell you where I got to school?" I said, still mad about that eye comment.

"I said I was sorry, KC," Ruby said, still sorry about making that comment. Ruby then turns to Jaune asked him a question.

"So Jaune, why don't you join the track and field team? You're super fast! You'd be captain for sure!" Ruby said very loud.

Several people then glanced over to conversation with interest.

Jaune winced, "Not so loud! Also, it's just not my thing, and I don't compete, okay? Besides, it takes more than speed to be a captain." Jaune said, which Kai nodded.

"Indeed, it takes teamwork and a lot of work which Jaune does not have time for," I said, to which Jaune agreed.

I then see Ruby frowned at our answers.

As Jaune and I were leading Ruby around school, it was hard to stay undetected as everybody stared at the three of us as she talked every mile a minute. I did not mind and acted casual, but unfortunately for Jaune, it affected his incognito personality when trying to blend in.

Jaune and I had to act like ordinary people so that she wouldn't pick up on how isolated Jaune was. Jaune and I could tell she was just as observant as Yang, which could be very bad for Jaune.

Both Jaune and I could tell she was a bit annoyed that we hadn't told her that I attended Signal High, but she conceded that I had no reason to.

While Jaune and I kept walking, we saw Yang glaring at us out of the corner of our eyes. Jaune fought back a shiver as we walked by while I calmed Jaune while also trying not to glare back at her for scaring Jaune. Ruby then suddenly started picking up the pace as she noticed her sister.

I feel a little bad for Ruby, but I still was holding a grudge against her.

When Jaune and I head to our first period, which was math, we both pulled up a guest seat. Jaune gave his desk to Ruby, while I gave my desk to Jaune. She then thanked Jaune and muttered, 'It's no problem' under his breath, took my seat, and took out his stuff while I placed a binder and notebook on my knee. When the teacher introduced Ruby, she smiled and waved, receiving a few small hellos and waved in return.

Lucky for us, nobody decided to glance at Jaune or me.

Once the first period was over, Jaune and I made our way to the next class, American History, my favorite class, and sat down.

Fortunately for us, this class had more than enough spare seats with desks. So not Jaune and I were able to secure one for ourselves.

Unfortunately, This class had a certain blond as a classmate, and I am not talking about Jaune.

I saw Yang Xiao Long walking over as Jaune lay out his utensils and stood in front of both of our desks. I then see Ruby was trying to get out of her chair.

"Yang! Can you n-" her sister cut off ruby.

"Just a minute, sis, I just need to speak with Jaune Arc and Charles Rivera," Yang said, which confused Ruby until he looked over to me.

"I thought your name was KC?" Ruby said, which I sighed as the jig was up.

"K is my middle name while Charles is my first name. I won't tell you my middle name because only Jaune and family are allowed to." I said, which Ruby understood.

I then turn towards Yang and look at her in the eyes, "Is something wrong, Miss Xiao Long? If not, then can you please leave Jaune and me alone as class is about to start." I said, being polite and stern.

I saw Yang smiled, and I could tell that smile meant 'you'd better watch your back' Jaune and I did not falter to show a sign of discomfort. Dealing with someone like Yang meant you had to not be afraid of her; if you were, she would eat you alive. Showing any distress or even avoiding eye contact was a critical mistake that must not happen at all costs. Of course, looking into her narrowed lilac eyes was much easier said than done for Jaune. While I just stared at her, showing I wasn't scared.

"Actually, I was hoping you two could speak with me for a moment." She said.

"Sorry, but no kind of busy," I said while Jaune shrugged causally.

"I'd like to, but class starts in two minutes, and I am not totally ready for it; I am sure you can talk to me later," Jaune said, to which I agreed.

When we both said that, Yang's smile turned into a scowl for a brief moment, and I stand my ground while Jaune prayed he didn't flinch.

She glared for a moment and turned around, "Fine at lunch then."

Jaune and I waited for her to be out of hearing range before we both sigh in relief which Jaune then slump down.

Ruby leaned over, "Are two you okay?"

Jaune let out a long breath, "Quite the caretaker you have there," Jaune said, to which I nodded.

"I can tell where you get your rudeness," I said under my breath.

She looked down and frowned heavily, "I'm sorry."

Jaune shook my head, "It's not your fault. She just wants to protect you," Jaune said, which I nodded.

"I agree, though. Yang could turn down the intensity, though," I said, which Jaune nodded.

Both Jaune and I see Ruby's expression suddenly turned into fury and her resemblance to an irritated Yang Xiao Long made Jaune draws back, while I just stayed calm. "I know that," Ruby hissed, "but maybe she needs to know that I don't need protecting! It's like being smothered, and I can't talk to anyone because they are afraid of her! I get that she loves me, and I love her back, but I need room! I just wish she could see that, but she just doesn't get it!" Ruby ranted.

Jaune and I blinked in surprise, and Ruby's eyes widened as she rocked back in her seat, hands over her mouth.

"Sorry!" she squeaked.

Jaune hid his smile in his hand, but he couldn't entirely smother the chuckles, "I think I can see why you two are sisters." Jaune said which I nodded and chuckled a bit.

"Yep, definitely sisters both pretty intense," I said, which Jaune chuckled more.

Ruby flushed, "Don't laugh at me!"

Jaune smirked, false as it was; the situation was amusing.

While I honestly found it funny, plus I was recording the whole time on my phone without Ruby knowing.

This recording of Ruby would come in handy when Yang tries to threaten Jaune or me, that's for sure.

At lunch, Jaune and I showed Ruby the lunch line and then made my way over to the bathrooms with a quick "I'll be back."

When we both entered the bathroom, Jaune splashed his face with ice-cold water before leaning heavily over the tap and breathing slowly. Jaune was exhausted as well as me acting normal was hard enough, but having to answer Ruby all the time was making it doubly so.

What even worse, Ruby had somehow declared herself to be our friend. Jaune and I could tell her to leave us alone because it would Yang bring down on me but more importantly, Jaune's head with her full wrath. And that was just too troublesome even to begin to contemplate.

Anyway, as I finished using the urinal, I go to the sink and wash my hand while Jauneletst the chills of the cold water drip off his nose and hair for a minute before drying his face. Jaune then turned to me and asked me a question.

"You think Yang is waiting outside?" Jaune asked which I nodded.

I then looked at Jaune and put my hand on his shoulder, and looked him in the eyes," Jaune, stay behind me. She would probably grab me because I look easier to handle than you got it." I said, which Jaune frowned but nodded.

"You sure you can handle Xiao Long because I don't want to leave you to get hurt," Jaune said, which I sigh and understood.

"Trust me, cause it better to be me than you," I said which I take my hand away from Jaune, and we both headed back outside. Once outside, I felt my shirt get grabbed, and my bag slipped off my shoulder to the ground.

Well, that didn't take long.

I was swung into the wall and saw it was Yang, and she was glaring at me, which I glared back and then turned to Jaune, "Jaune, go, I will handle her." I said, which Jaune nodded while also looking worried and got the hell out of there.

Yang saw Jaune trying to escape and tried to grab him only for me to stop her and reverse slam her to the wall. As Jaune made his escape, I made sure Yang stayed put to the wall and then moved her hand behind her back, to her shoulder blade hard military style.

"Oh, sheol ay walang! Bitch kayo layuan mo ang aking mga pinsan! (Oh hell no! Bitch, you stay away from my cousin.) I said in my father's native tongue, which she was confused but understood when I said bitch.

"What you say!" Yang said which I smile and repeated myself this time in English.

"I said you stay the hell away from my cousin, you bitch," I said, which made Yang very angry which tried to get out of my grip, only for me to apply more pressure.

She then gets mad and glared at me, "Okay, you fucker, let me go because I am going to make one thing very clear for you if you touch Ruby, your dead, as well as your friend Jaune. Cuz, I don't care if you two 'had no intention' or 'she isn't your type.' You even make her frown. You answer to me!" Yang answered while still pinned to the wall, to which I just chuckled.

"First that was my cousin dumbass, second if you are going to threaten my family, then be ready to get some bones broken, and third I scared the shit out of your sister when she made fun of my eyes, so allow me to say you a liar," I said which made Yang even angrier. Still, she couldn't move as I applied pressure to her arm.

To be honest, I had expected this to be the message, but also, I expected something more civilized; of course, this about Yang's little sister, so yeah.

Anyway, Yang just glared at me, which I just laughed mockingly, "Now I get it! I totally get it! It's really no wonder Ruby cannot stand having you around! You could just have pulled Jaune or me aside like a normal person, but apparently, you can't communicate on any other level than being violent and threatening!"

When I said that, Yang blinked before getting more mad, trying to get out of my hold, which I applied even more pressure which she started to feel more pain. "What the hell do you mean, you jackass?!" She said which I rolled my eyes.

I decided I was done with this shit and decided to break the mold that Yang had being a sister as a whole, "Was I speaking in code or something? You heard me! Or I didn't say it in your language, you idiot," I growled.

I will be honest. I know how to fight to agree, but even I know I can't do this forever, Yang will be able to get out if I falter.

So the best I should do is grab my bag, and all I was fast but not as quick as my cousin even though I am a bit fat, but thanks to those runs with Jaune, I had pretty good stamina plus it wasn't that odd to have one or two altercations happen at lunch every day.

For god fucking sake this is high school; we're talking here. You're bound to be caught in the drama.

Anyway, as I kept pinning Yang to the wall, I decided to lay some hard truth on her ass.

" Xiao Long If you are such an awesome sister, then maybe rather than decide what's best for Ruby, you can talk with her and get her feelings on the matter, rather than decide for yourself!" I snarled and kept applying pressure to the arm, which Yang starts to grunt in pain.

"Surprising isn't it? I am pinning you to a wall and Ruby can't even look at you because she knows you love her, and she hopes you'll back off a bit, but instead, you become even more overbearing! You're smothering her and you don't even realize it! Personally, if it were up to Jaune and me, we would just leave you to be a crappy dumb ass sister, but since Ruby is probably more inclined to hang around with me and Jaune than you." I said, being brutally honest which I still see Yang angry at me.

"Don't you be pissy, Xiao Long; it's true don't believe me then listen to this," I then throw Yang to the floor, and once she was down, I took my phone out and play the recording.

As the recording plays Yang listens to Ruby about how she is smothering her and how much she wants her to let her be, Yang looks shocked and ashamed at what she is hearing.

After the recording was done I just looked at her in disgust and then grabbed my bag after dropping it because of Yang and then walked past her before looking at her one more time.

"I suggest you start trusting your sister because family is important because if you continue to do this, your sister is going to leave your ass behind," I said and walked away.

As I kept walking, I ran into Jaune and Ruby, waiting by the wall, half-terrified, half-indignant.

"Charles, are you okay," Jaune asked, very worried but nodded.

"Charles, why did you do that?!" Ruby wailed angrily after following us.

OH GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!

HOW THE HELL DID ME AND JAUNE GET PULLED INTO THIS SHIT?!

As Jaune and I made our way to the side of one of the buildings, followed by Ruby. It was not our usual spot, but it was normal enough as other people were around.

Anyway, I saw Ruby looking at me pretty angry with the whole Yang incident, which I just half-scowl and half-sighed. "Look, Ruby, I am sorry I recorded you and making Yang listen to it, but can you blame me!" I said, which Ruby nodded no.

"Ruby, it was either Jaune and I keep getting bothered by Yang until you eventually break the news to her after getting enough backbone. Or she keeps smothering you, also; if your mad about what I did to your sister, she had it coming," I said, to which Jaune agreed.

"Agreed, Ruby, your sister, attacked Charles, and he only defended himself. Plus, I think Charles chose the best option, as you don't have to face her with the problem. And with Kai taking her down a peg and listening to the recording, she learned her actions have consequences; thus, she will learn what she is doing is wrong, and you two can talk about it without getting into an argument. If I were you, I would start planning what to say to her." Jaune said which I nodded.

Ruby blinked and started digesting Jaune's words, "W-why would I need to practice what to say?" She asked not to understand why she has to do that.

I sighed as I had to spell it out for her. "Ruby, I am not going to lie; you don't exactly strike me so much as the person to think before you speak," I said, which made Ruby mad.

"Hey!" Ruby said, offended by my answer.

Ruby then turns to Jaune, and he sighs, " Ruby, Charles is just saying you'll probably yell out whatever answer you think is satisfactory. If any reading material I peruse in my free time has any merit, it'll dissolve into an argument if Yang picks up on that, which she most certainly will. Try to come off as mature; she may actually be inclined to leave you alone for a bit." Jaune said which I nodded.

While me and Jaune kept nodding, we realized when the hell did we become relationship counselors? Well, it does help that several of my cousins besides Jaune were girls who argued frequently enough for Jaune and me to get a relatively good idea on how to respond to each of the overpluses of arguments that my cousins might have. Going to say that was an advantage; also, Jaune and I did not sign up for this shit, but what can you do.

While Ruby was thinking, she had an idea, "Well then, can you two help me plan what to say? So Yang would stop smothering me," Ruby said, looking at both Jaune and me with a sort of determined hopefulness.

Ugh.

It looks like we are going to be busy.

END

Wreck Tron: Okay, going to say it, Jaune and Kai, that was something. I mean, damn, Kai taking Yang down, and then Jaune and him having to help Ruby confront Yang, I will say they really need all the help they can get. Anyway, if you want to find out how Kai and Jaune help Ruby, then please Favorite, Review, and follow this story, and you will find out. Now again, please don't flame me. I don't mind critics, but if it just about my writing sucks, please don't read my work then. Now, with that, said, see, yeah.
