Chapter 3-

PPOV

I never thought I would ever imprint. Look at me I am the broken wolf. The man whore. Who would be cursed by the spirits with me as an imprint? Who would have known I would be imprinting on Bella Swan at that? I saw how Jared and Sam tensed when I came out of the woods. The wolf pup imprinted on her first. Oh spirits the mind fuck is real.

"This makes complete sense now." Bella seemed to be deep in thought after I brought up the leech feeding her feelings. I saw a look of realization or maybe shock go across her beautiful face.

Wait beautiful Paul Lahote does not say beautiful. I am turning in to pussy whipped wolf.

"When I met the Cullen's, I did not want to be involved with them at first. Yes, they were a mystery, but I never felt anything for them. Edward had scared me in the beginning and then suddenly, I was head over heels for him. When they left what if that is why I went all depressed zombie. I was having withdraws from them." She stopped talking and looked like she was deep in thought once again.

"Oh no! What about Charlie? Someone needs to go get him. Let him know I am okay. What if they go to him to get me back in Forks? I cannot go back to Forks. I need to get Charlie here." She was in a full-blown panic before she finished talking. She was fumbling looking at Sam and Jacob with a pleading look.

"Bella, you need to calm down. I had Emily call him already he should be on his way to Billy's by now. You are the top priority for the Pack right now. We will protect you and Charlie by all means. We knew by how Edward was at the treaty line he would do anything possible to get you back. We are not going to let that happen." Sam explained.

Before I knew what I was doing I picked Bella up and walked to the couch with her in my lap. Seth seemed to know what I was doing for her. She needed comfort and she needed me. Well, she needed both of her imprints. Seth came and sat beside me and lifted her legs onto his lap.

"They were using me as their human pet. I see it all now. The thing that does not make sense though. Why now? Why did the emotions have to end right now? They almost had what they wanted."

We all shared a silent look. All I could think was that maybe the leech was killed but that would not make sense for one of their own to be killed without any of their concerns. This was all confusing. I could feel Bella getting more tired by the minute.

"I think we need to take a break and let Bella eat and rest. We can finish this later." I expressed as I looked at Bella. "I can take you to my place and we can get you some food and you can relax. You are safe and Charlie is safe that is what matters right now. Maybe tomorrow will bring more answers."

Everyone seemed to be surprised at the words coming out of my mouth. Hell, even I was shocked at how much of a pussy I sound like.

"Can we call Billy's first and see if Charlie made it there?" She looked at Sam with pleading eyes.

"That will not be necessary." Before he could finish his thought there was a knock on the door.

Charlie looked dishevel as he stood at the door. Bella rushed to him and wrapped her arms around him. My wolf did not like the disconnection from our imprint, but she needed this. She needed to know her dad was okay. I noticed Seth go to move to her. I grabbed his arm and shook my head. We do not need to crowd her with her dad right in front of us.

Bella lets go of her dad and we can see they both had tears running down their faces. I guess they both have been worried about the other.

"Seth, Paul I know this is new and well ground we never covered but before you leave I need you both phased and I want to make sure this double imprint is not going to be dangerous for Bella or either of you. We do not need either of you getting jealous of the other and hurting or killing each other or worse, Bella." Sam explained.

Seth had this horrified look on his face. I did not even think of this.

"Sam, I do not think that is going to be an issue." I said.

"Why is that Paul? This is new ground how could you possibly know you will not hurt either of them?" He looked as if I grew two heads. This was pissing me off.

"Because my wolf is not threatened by Seth. My wolf knows she needs us both. Now do not ever think I will ever let you or anyone else say I will hurt Bella or Seth again. She is our imprint we will figure this out but get this through you head. I WILL NEVER HURT HER!" I could feel I was about to lose control. I rushed out of the back door before my wolf took over.

I could feel Bella's hurt that I rushed out.

"He will be back shortly Bella he just had to go out for some air." I could hear Seth explain to her.

I ran the perimeter around the Rez. Spirits the smell of leech was up and down the treaty line. I howled and ran faster. I can smell at least two different leeches. I do not know who is who but my wolf was seething.

"What is going on Paul?" Sam came into the pack mind.

"Leech. Treaty line. They are still out here. I am going to kill them all."

"No Paul you are going to wait for me and Jacob to get to you." He tried to Alpha order me!

Too bad Alpha orders do not work when it involves imprints. I will protect Bella from these leeches.

"Paul if you go half cocked and get hurt imagine what that does to Bella. Yes, she has Seth as well but you both imprinted on her for a reason. That means she will not be able to live with just one of you. This is Bella we are talking about she is a beacon for creatures and trouble." Jacob was trying to rationalize with me. He made sense.

I could feel my wolf still on the edge, but I knew he was right. She needed us both. Even if that means I cannot kill them. YET. I will end these leeches.

"Where are they? These trails are fresh. They have to be around here somewhere." Before I can say more Jacob left the pack mind.

"I know you are out there somewhere bloodsuckers. You want to talk well let's talk. Show yourselves." Jacob was hollering into the woods.

Next thing I see is two leeches coming straight to the line. They both looked rabid. I could tell Sam sensed it too. They were a danger. This was not going to end well.

"Where is she dog? She is not yours!" Edward growled out.

"She obviously was not yours if she is now imprinted on. She belongs to the pack. She is where she needs to be. Now you can either accept that or you both will die. You decide." Jacob sounded very calm but I could feel it. The alpha in him was coming out.

Before either of the leeches could say anything further doctor leech and the big one came running towards us.

"Edward, stop this. You know she is no longer with us because she did not want to stay with us. She is now theirs. She is an imprint. That means the treaty protects her from us." Doctor leech was trying to reason with him.

"She is mine! Alice saw it and just because Jasper left does not mean that she can just leave me."

This explained why Bella no longer was influenced. Jasper was not dead he left willingly. But why? I look over at where Edward is and he is staring daggers at me.

"YOU! YOU CANNOT HAVE HER!" He looked like he was about to attack. This will be interesting.
