"You think she's doing okay, or not losing control of her magic, making it rain, spraying fog or glowing in class, what ifthe other kids don't want to be her friends?" Sisou asked.
"Everything will be alright, June's probably having a blast, she'll tell you when we pick her up." Chilli assured her.
Sisou had returned from dropping Juniper off at school, but her mommy dragon instincts were going wild, so Chilli wanted to distract her, until it was time to pick Juniper up, seeing a letter from Deadly, Sispu's dragon friend that ruled an amazing kingdom, making Sisou guess that would be alright, kissimg her husband, before leaving.
"This is Juniper-Datsun, she's from Kumanthra and her first day so make her feel welcome, alright?" the teacher said to the rest of June's new classmates seeing the other kids nodding, while sitting on the rug where there were books, making Juniper happy loving books despite feelimg anxious about the other kids, especially a red-haired girl in a tiki shirt and grass skirt who was curious about the newcomer.
After a while, they were doing art, something June also loved besides doing dragon stuff, hoping her mom was alright, gettinginspiration unaware theteacher and some of thekids were watching impressed, not knowing anything about Kumanthra, or thatshe was a dragon kid, hearing some of the kids yellimg, making her confused, did she do something wrong?
"Lani, stop using your demi-godess powers in class!" the teacher told the red-haired girl making June impressed, maybe she could show her true self and be accepted, waiting to see unaware her tail had revealed itself, impressing someof the kids, especially Lani making Juniper run out, using her speed like flying, going into the girl's bathroom.
"Not good, they saw my tail, I have to hide it!" she said to herself curling into a ball.
"Hey Juniper, you inhere, are you alright?" Lani said entering.
"No, everybody saw my tail, they'll freak out, if they see the real me!" June replied.
"Why would they freak out, you're cool, why did you leave?" Lani asked her"
Juniper thought for a few moments, as when Lani had used her magic by accident, it had been cool and maybe, she wouldn't mindhaving a dragon for a friend deciding to show her, making Lani impressed, seeing her as her dragon form making Juniper relieved that somebody was liking her for her, hearing Lani askimg her if that was why sbe had been acting weird all morning, making her nod.
"I guess we can try, Lani, and hope you're right." Jumiper said following her.
She realised it was recess, following her to the plauground, seeing the other kids in awe, rather than freaking out, stunning Juniper, because shethought they wouldbeafraid of this, making her relieved along with Lani, because shecould beherself.
"I gues my mom was right, about being myself." she told her.
