And here is part 1 of chapter 2! I decided to send it out in two parts because otherwise it would become too long.

Chapter 2

"Here. Sit. I'll grab something to drink for you." Gran said when we entered the living room. It wasn't big, but big enough for us to move around in. For grandma to have a few plants here and there (she for sure loved them). A tv was standing in a Tv cabinet. Here she also had a few pictures on the wall. My eyes fell one picture on the wall. From me and my family. It was taken a few years ago in front of our house. We were all smiling. Happy. I closed my eyes for eyes a moment. Mom or dad must have send it to grandma.

"You okay?" grandma asked worried when she walked back in to the living room with two cups of tea. I shook my head.

"I am scared." I admitted softly. Gran sat next from me on the couch. Placed the cups on the side table in front of us.

"Hey. It's okay to be scared. This isn't nothing what you're going through." She said calmly. I looked up at her. She gave me a soft smile, but I could tell she was still worried about me.

"I know. It's just the feeling of knowing that no one will come to rescue you when you're in danger. Not being with my family, feeling alone and… I could feel it grandma. The separation from the pack."

Grandma held me close.

"What did you feel when it happened?" she asked me carefully. I looked up at her.

"How the cord started to disappear. How it snapped. How… all of a sudden I felt alone, scared… Knowing that I am truly alone right now." I whispered softly. Explaining it all to her.

"Oh sweetheart. It's okay to feel that way. Just let it be." She whispered to me. In the distance I heard a wolf howl. I looked up for a moment, surprised.

"Are there wolves here?" I asked her when I let go of her. Moved a bit back to look at my grandmother.

"Hm, hm. Wild wolves though." She said softly. It however gave me the feeling that she was hiding something from me, but I didn't question it any further. If she said it was a wild wolf it was one.

It was the next morning when I woke up. Sweating. My heart was beating rapidly fast. I took in a few calming breaths. Tried to calm myself down. The nightmare I had was one I did not want to relive. For a moment I had no idea where I was, until I remembered yesterday's events. I sighed. Realizing I was in my bedroom at grandma's place. Everything was real. It was not a bad dream. I had really moved to Forks.

I laid down again. Closed my eyes, but opened them up again after a few minutes. I couldn't sleep anymore.

I got out of bed. Walked to my window to open the curtains. One thing I loved about my view was the forest. I used to have that kind of view back home, but am so happy that I have kind of the same view here.

I listened to the birds in the forest who were happily singing their beautiful songs. In the distance I heard a Roe Deer.

I smiled. Grabbed my dressing gown that was laying on top of my suitcase. Put it on and then went downstairs. Gran was already up, preparing breakfast in the kitchen.

"Hey, how did you sleep?" she asked me. I shrugged.

"Had a nightmare." I muttered when I grabbed a cup of coffee. The caffeine was not going to do much to my body. It would burn down the effects in a few seconds. One of the downsides of being a shape shifter.

"Want to talk about it?" she asked me, but I shook my head.

I didn't want to relive the dream were I was chased by vampires. Where no one came to rescue me. Where I tried to protect myself, but got killed.

"No." I muttered when I took a sip from my coffee. That is when I realized I needed to go out for a run. I haven't ran in wolf form for a week. Didn't dare to do it back in Langundo Reservation. I wasn't sure how Blake's pack would react to it after my exile.

We ate our breakfast in silence. I was wondering how things were going with my family. Had yet to call them to tell them I am doing okay. On the other hand I was not in the mood to call, but grabbed my phone and send a quick text message to Michael. That I am doing okay and arrived safe and sound at grandma's.

"Oh hey. Would you like to go buy some stuff at the grocery store for me? In that way you also get to know Forks." Gran asked me when we were finished breakfast. I helped her with cleaning up the table. I hesitated at that question. It meant going outside, on my own, but I had no choice. I also had to go to school tomorrow, so there was no way I could delay going outside.

"Yeah. Sure. Let me get dressed and I'll go." I agreed. Gran gave me a soft smile. I headed upstairs.

Changed in to the clothes I was wearing yesterday. A jeans and a simple red t-shirt. Brushed my hair and teeth. I was outside in fifteen minutes.

To say that I was scared was an understatement. I was terrified to go alone. I looked around for a moment when I arrived at my car. Sniffed. Just to make sure there was no vampire around.

Coast was clear. I trembled a bit, but tried not give in to my fear. I got in the car with a heavy heart. What if a vampire was going to be on my path? Sure, the drive was short, but anything could happen in these ten minutes.

"Okay, you can do it Luna. Just get in to the car, drive to that store and then go back as quick as you can." Yeah… I could do that, right? So I told myself to get in the car and that is what I did. I started the engine and drove off.

The road to the grocery store wasn't bad. I actually liked the scenery. Houses, trees. A few fields here and there.

I found myself admiring the small town. It almost gave me a soft smile, but I tried to hold that back. I wasn't really in the mood to smile. Smiling would say that I am just a tiny bit happy, but I am not.

I shook my head for a moment, drove further until I had arrived the grocery store. It wasn't busy. There were just a few cars parked out on the parking lot and I decided to park as close to the store as I could. In that way I didn't have to be outside for as long as possible. Well, I hoped so. I took in a deep breath, turned the engine off, grabbed my wallet and the grocery list and headed outside. As soon as I got outside I stopped. A scent hit my nose, but I shook my head. Impossible. Sure, I had heard wolf's last night, but gran told me they were normal wild wolves. Not the Shape Shifter kind…

I tensed up a bit, looked around, but couldn't find anyone who fitted the description of a shape shifter.

"Come on Luna. Get a grip on yourself." I muttered to myself, again, but was still on high alert when I walked over to the carts from the grocery store to grab one.

When I got inside the grocery store a few heads turned around to have a look at me, but I did my best to ignore them. I knew everyone knew everyone in this town, literally.

I bet most of them already knew that I was the new girl in town. The strange one. I gave them a soft smile, tried not to look nervous, but then decided to just have a look around. The store wasn't that big, but big enough to have everything I needed, I for sure hoped so.

I looked at the list to see what grandma needed.

"Eggs, bread, cheese." I muttered softly when looking at the list. Saw that she needed other things too.

I hoped I could find everything as quick as possible. Which I knew I wouldn't because I had to search for everything. A few things were easy to find. Like breath, but other things like dough were a bit harder to find. It was the last thing I needed on my list. Why she needed dough was beyond me. Perhaps she wanted to bake a cake?

"You sure we have everything?" I heard a girl ask someone else. That is when a scent hit me. I looked up, only to see two girls and one tall muscled boy standing in the same isle I wanted to go in. I gulped when his scent hit me. Shape Shifter! His head turned in to my direction.

"You okay?" one of the girls asked kindly, before the boy could even say something. I looked at the girl who seemed to be around my age. She had long, black hair, brown eyes. The boy stepped protectively in front of her, but she didn't want to have any of it and stepped in front of him again. He was definitely a shape shifter. There was no doubt about it. Right? On the other hand. He could just be a muscular guy. One who would work out, but then again, his scent… I shook my head. Didn't want to believe this.

"You look like you have seen a ghost." The other girl said.

"I… eh, yeah… sorry." I muttered, looked away from them. That is when, all of a sudden I saw the dough and quickly grabbed it. At least I didn't have to look for that anymore. I didn't have to go to Seattle or any other town to look what I was searching for.

Without thinking I turned my cart around. Walked over to the cash register. I wanted to get away from here as soon as possible. What if he would follow me though? What if he knew what I was? I nervously looked behind me but didn't see him, yet. They must still be in the isle.

When it was my turn I put all my items on the cash register. The cashier employee scanned my items. I nervously hopped from one foot to the other.

Hoping she would be done with it quickly. When all was done I paid for it all. I hurried over to my pick up truck. Catching the scent again. I shook my head. Nope. This was couldn't be true. There was no other pack here.

Blake's pack was the only pack so far.

Poor Luna. She knows by now that there are other shape shifters out there, but doesn't want to admit it just yet.
